Customer service was good at check-in. We didn’t have much more interaction with staff after that (wasn’t needed). Took kids to swim in indoor pool, thought we’d soak in the hot tub, except hot tub was filled in with decorative rock and a large plant placed on top. Inside of the pool floor was a little dirty. We stayed in room 543 and our sliding glass door didn’t lock. Luckily we don’t have small kids that could be tempted to open it possibly creating an unsafe situation. Lobby area and conference center are nice and clean and updated - time to get rooms and pool area to match.

I checked in on my app but stopped by the front desk to get 2 key cards. The young man accidentally checked me out. It was his first day on the job by himself. He called his manager, Claudia, and she walked him through the process. I don't blame any of my issues on the gentleman who made a simple mistake but rather on the management or should I say lack of management. The next day my key cards didn't work. I went back to the front desk and stood in line. The same young man was working. He redid my key cards and I asked him to double check my reservation. He had me checkiing out 2 days earlier and my confirmation number had changed. I was concerned about a couple things. First would I be charged correctly. Second, will this screw up my points and further inconvenience me. So I emailed Kristina, the Assistant General Manager, however as of 4 days later she has not contacted me. Guess what? I got home and the hotel overcharged me by $142. I called the hotel and was told there was no one from management there and transferred to ext101. I left a message. I haven't heard anything back. I've always enjoyed staying at Hampton Inns. However, I highly recommend staying somewhere else in Albuquerque.

For the price, this hotel is great! The staff was very helpful. The first couple of days, the keys would stop working and the front desk would have to give us new keys. Eventually they figured out how to keep them working. There was always hot water, ice, and A/C. They always gave us more towels if we needed them. We got an adjoining room when family came to visit and that was fun. (For some reason, that room didn't have a desk chair. I'm sure they would have found one for us if we had asked.) Another family in our party had a bigger room with a mini-fridge and microwave. Those rooms might be more $$. The only downer was that the pool was broken. The location was perfect for us! It's super confusing that there is another La Quinta just on the other side of the highway. Albuquerque Journal La Quinita is the one you want!

The hotel was great and the staff was friendly and attentive. I am part of a group of women who attend a Belly dance retreat almost every August in Albuquerque since 2015 and I think this hotel and the way we were treated was the best ever. Hotels in the past have provided rooms that had plumbing problems, refrigerator problems, and lock problems. It was so nice to actually have everything in working order and looking as lovely as the photos on the website. I also have to say that other hotels in the past have treated our little retreat group like our business was not important to them. We have encounted problems like having our meeting rooms suffled around from place to place and having to set up and take down our meeting room because staff was not available to help. It has been enough of an issue with us women that we really just really don't expect to find a room ready for us. It was wonderful to have staff come in in the morning to help put up chairs, or in the evening to help us put up tables. Thank you so much.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and every time I’ve had a great experience. I arrived early and was lucky I could get a room before normal check in times. The club lounge upstairs has great employees working there. However, the best employee of this hotel is Ms. Erica from the club lounge. She was very professional, welcoming, attentive, and had great customer service. Its individuals like Ms. Erica who create an experience that makes you forget you’re not home. From the time I was there this evening, I saw her interact with all the guests and all of them had big smiles on their face when they saw her. She’s an asset to not only this specific location, but to Marriott as a whole. Thank you Ms. Erica!

We stayed here overnight as part of a cross country rod trip. We tend to stay at the Marriott hotels as we have found that overall they tend to safe and clean. We were very impressed with the staff. They were very helpful on every request we made. The rooms were clean and the breakfast area was nicely stocked with hot and taste food in the morning. It seems that every business is looking for staff. At this property the staff was a,ping the best we have encountered on our trip. If our travels takes us back to the area we would be happy stay again.

*Stay Details: We stayed here on our drive down to Arizona. It was my husband, myself and our French bulldog. The hotel allows pets ($75 non-refundable fee was a bit steep just to put her in her kennel overnight), but there's not much of an area for them to go to the bathroom (rock is all I saw, but it was dark). *Essentials: It's close enough to the highway, has breakfast and gas nearby and had a security guard driving the parking lot, so your vehicle felt safe. *Arrival: The check-in process was simple and friendly, and they have a 24hr quick mart where you can buy drinks and some snacks. *Room: Their cheapest room option is a King Suite. It was a really nice room! It was a little of a bummer that we were only planning on sleeping and heading out. It was very spacious and modern, had a kitchen (sink, large fridge & freezer, microwave & even a dishwasher!), and most importantly the bed was comfortable! We slept like babies and the sheets were so soft!

We had airline travel drama that put us into ABQ a day late and with a nonrefundable advance purchase rate. Drury still went the extra mile and changed my reservation and refunded the one night. It probably helped that I stayed at another Drury in another city the night we missed. Gotta appreciate the customer service. Yes, it took awhile on the phone, but we did it. The hotel accommodated my room type request, too. A quiet room. Also had a nice balcony. When you figure in breakfast AND dinner included, the $150 nightly rates are good value for the money. Plus, you do not have to spend the time and gas money traveling out into town for breakfast and dinner. If you do want to break the somewhat monotony of their meals menu, rooms have a nice microwave and refrigerator so you can bring take-out to your room. It would be nice to have some green chile stew or compote for breakfast at this location and some medium hot salsa for dinner nachos. We can handle it in Albuquerque. Great swimming pool and jacuzzi- clean and well maintained with very accessible hours (until 9pm?) I am not a fan of the ”pet friendly” policy. It's a bit disconcerting to see dogs running around the food area, to hear them bark occasionally or see them come into your elevator. Especially if you have pet allergies or are afraid of dogs. It is not quite out-of-hand but could become so if they do not get a handle on this. We must be sensitive to the genuine hygiene/ allergy/ COVID/ phobia aspects of this. With customer service and quality seemingly declining, and prices soaring in so much of the hospitality industry, Drury is still a five star experience. On top of all that, all the employees we encountered were friendly yet professional.

I am a 65 year old white male IT consultant, 20 Year Marriott Platinum Elite Lifetime member who uses his Marriott points or pays with my card on file to help friends and family when they travel. I have never had problems doing so before. Recently I made a reservation at the Fairfield by Marriott - Albuquerque Airport for 2 guests traveling from Ohio to Las Vegas. Both are young black, female, professional, attractive, articulate, well dressed, IT professionals. When I made the reservation days before their stay, I called the front desk immediately to make sure my guest's names were on file. I made sure they would not be charged and my credit card would be billed for all charges. I was assured everything was in place by the front desk. The day before my guests were to arrive, I called the front desk again to make sure everything was in place (guest names on file, room choice, use credit card on file) for my guest's stay, and was again assured by the front desk everything was in place. When my friends checked in, they were treated with suspicion, the desk clerk did not follow the instructions on file, and basically shook them down and treated them like ******s. Made them pay on their own, and gave them a crappy room, even though I had strict instructions for room type, and to use the credit card on file. Neither the hotel or Marriott Platinum Elite Member Services has done a thing to make this right. Stay somewhere elst.

We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by 2 of the most friendly hotel clerks I have ever encountered and I travel frequently. When I expressed my dismay at discovering our room was on the second floor and there were no elevators and that I was handicapped, they quickly assured me they could help get the bags upstairs. Julianna ( I think that was her name, quickly came around to the cart that my grandkids and husband had placed everything on and started carrying everything up to the room. She had all our bags in our room in less than 10 minutes. She then offered to park our car for us if my husband wanted her too, but he decided to do do it himself. Everything was great here with the exception of no elevators for the handicapped. We had a suite that worked out well since we were traveling with grandkids. They loved having the living room and their own bathroom.

I got robbed the day/night of June 18 2022. Management let two native girls in my room, of course motel cameras showed no one entering my room, the smell of drugs lingered, management did nothing, I had to tell management yes please call police. Which they said police gave a web site to file a report via internet. Please at all costs no one ever stay here. Filthy and run down, poor management. i grew up in New Mexico and Central back in the day was bad, its not as bad now, homeless are abundant everywhere. AGAIN THE WORST EVER EXPERIENCE!!!!

The customer associate at the front desk is rude, hostile, unfriendly and not trained to perform the duties expected of her. 1. She did not check my id to confirm that we had already checked-in online for a 3 pm check-in (we arrived at 2:30 pm) and our room was ready. Somehow, we are supposed to provide her that information. 2. She started explaining that how the facility is short staffed and that I had to wait with my family (2 year and 4 year old) in the lobby and have our lunch there since out room will be ready only at 3:30 pm and there is nothing she can do about it. 3. She did not apologize, say sorry for the mistake on her part noted in 1. She was unapologetic for the confusion caused because of her and was unwelcoming to outright hostile during our check-in. 4. She did not provide the general instructions regarding the facilities. (breakfast, gym, pool etc) as part of the check-in process. Dear Corporate IHG team, Please spend time and resources to train the associates. These are the points of contacts where guests experience your service. Your marketing $$$ to chase customers won't matter if you have an untrained, hostile associate to `welcome guests.`

At 1:10am the fire alarm went off screeching in my room only. After 20 minutes they were able to stop it, but needless to say my night was ruined. The next morning at checkout I reminded the front desk manager (older woman w/long dark hair and glasses working morning of June 28, 2022) that mine was the room with the fire alarm. She wouldn't look me in the eye and apologize, instead she corrected me and said ”it was chirping”. My mouth dropped open..I clarified the alarm was in full screaming mode and others surely complained as well. She again corrected me and said ”it just needed the battery removed” - I was stunned. I asked for some sort of compensation considering I'm on a long driving road trip and got zero sleep, again wouldn't apologize or look me in the eye, just stared at her computer and begrudgingly mumbled '15%”. Money wasn't the factor as much as her horrible customer service. I left and immediately cancelled all future Holiday Inn reservations. If this is how IHT trains their managers to support their customers, I'll gladly stay at Marriott where I get great service. Thanks grumpy manager.

I mostly stay at Motel 6 on all my vacations. This one by far is my favorite. Inside the lobby and my room it had a fresh and clean scent. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate. This hotel has security which is always a plus. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean. We stayed here to be near the balloon fiesta, and wow we got a room facing all the balloons taking off in the morning. The view was spectacular! The only thing I would recommend is to turn on your GPS and dont blink driving down the road or else you will miss it. Its in a small area and the 6 sign needs to be up higher and brighter.

This was a location that had easy access off the interstate. It is, however, in need of some work. The room was clean, for the most part(more on that later), but the wallpaper was peeling in many places. My room looked out over the pool, which was in full use, even though the water was rather green. Maybe it had just been opened and the chemicals needed to be balanced better. I didn't use the pool. When I entered the room and went to the sliding door, I found that it had not been locked. While the door was not open, it did allow access to any one that may have tried the door. The bed was comfortable and warm, plenty of pillows that were also comfortable. I slept well, which I usually do not do in a hotel. Now, to the cleanliness of the room. When I pulled back the bedding, an empty booze bottle fell out. This made me question whether the bedding had been changed after the last occupant. The bedding looked clean, but...When I got ready to take a showed and lifted the shower mat from the edge of the tub, there was an empty shampoo bottle under the mat. Again, how and was the room really cleaned after the last person. The exhaust vent in the bathroom was also dirty and moldy. Attention to detail. The staff was pleasant and friendly, to breakfast was hot and good. Sausage, eggs, cereal, toast, juice, biscuits and gravy. There was no reason to go away hungry. The last issue I had was the lack of exterior doors locking. The doors had card access on them, I don't know if building occupants were not closing the properly or if the wind, and there was lots of it, was blowing the doors open, either way, that needs to be looked into. Would I stay again? Possibly. It was not a bad stay, just needed some work.

At first glance this hotel looks pretty good. Attractive entrance, nice looking little bistro on first floor (which unfortunately was closed on a Monday night), modern and inviting. However, once you get into the main part of the hotel, hallway carpeting is worn, decor is outdated, and elevator is small and uninviting. I could have looked past that except that I use a walker and we had a wheelchair on our luggage cart and we were put almost at the far end of the second floor (our fault for not specifically asking for a handicap accessible room, but with the hotel almost empty this shouldn't have happened!). The room itself was fine, beds are comfortable, but again everything looks a little dated. The fabric chair in the room had something black streaked on the one arm, and our bathtub was absolutely disgusting. It literally looked like an ashtray had been dumped in it. On top of that the bathroom is so small the door opens right up onto the toilet. I should have complained and insisted on being moved, but we were only there the one night. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the airport, and walking distance to an Applebee's, so these were positives. My husband used points to book this hotel, so obviously we are frequent Marriott users, so I would have expected better. There are MANY other hotel choices all within a mile radius, so I'd probably pick something else next time!

Stayed here one night traveling, nice room but no coffee in the room, only decaf, so I had to get dressed and go to the office for a cup of coffee, which I really need first thing in the morning. So if I have to walk to get coffee when I wake up, then my tip that I always leave for housekeeping, didn't happen. No coffee, no tip. I will stay here again but will bring my own coffee maker. Am I making a big deal over coffee? Well, having to go get coffee in the early morning makes me very unhappy with the lack of housekeeping. Why should I give someone money for doing nothing?

The hotel is near the main road in the city, but the surrounding area feels relatively desolate. Free parking is available at the hotel. The hotel space is closed and relatively safe. The rooms are well-decorated and the facilities are old, but there is no smell. The bathroom is also relatively compact. Generally clean and hygienic, windows can also be opened for ventilation. The sound insulation is not very good and a bit noisy. There is a free breakfast, not many types, but you can eat it. Suitable for passing overnight.
