I am already staying for the second time. The breakfast is good and very rich. If you are still not satisfied, there are pancakes on the spot, but at your own expense, give a good review! And the room can be cooked and eaten. I used to cook some noodles and add some spicy food to eat and eat. The whole hotel gives a very comfortable feeling.

Hotel location is next to a bridge, the hotel has a car, you can go to the airport and bus station, give them a tip, breakfast can also be, bread and milk and eggs, the room is very large, very clean hotel is recommended, but How do black people always feel uncomfortable with the Chinese, and they are not very polite to our Chinese compatriots. The white people inside are still very good for us Chinese.

The hotel is next to the University of Pittsburgh and has its own dedicated parking building. At the beginning of check-in, the two black waiters at the front desk, one man and one woman, had a bad attitude. It was clear that Ctrip had paid the room rate and deducted me once again. Ctrip communicated, confirmed the multiple deductions, the hotel promised to return, the hotel room was good and new, due to the lack of electricity in the battery of the room card, a white front desk waiter was actively resolved in the evening, and I hope the hotel will improve the service to the black waiter Attitude, China is now strong, and there will be a lot of Chinese tourists, so do n’t lose Chinese guests.

We met our kids there for the Elton John concert at PNC Park . I booked a year in advance at Cambria Downtown thinking it was close but far enough away fro immediate crowds. I’ll address the negatives immediately, but continue reading because it has a good end. Thank you I usually choose a hotel that has an indoor heated pool , a hot tub is a bonus , Cambria had both! Next is as mentioned above , location , close but not in the thick of things, Parking availability is important so our car can be left at hotel without concern, again Cambria met my criteria , things are good so far . Now , Upon arrival to Hotel there was much construction building and road so getting there was confusing , once we pull on to the Drop off area , their parking lot was closed and being maintained, we were instructed to use the parking lot up the road and tell the attendant that we were hotel guests , well that didn’t matter at all it was still 6.50 to park , the attendant was only there til 3 , so the parking lot was ‘open air ‘ no security, no responsibility on their behalf. Next we try to get checked in … cannot til 4 , no exceptions , so we hung around the lobby , bar was not open so no food or beverage available. We check out where the pool is see the hot tub , things look alright , 4 o’clock comes we check in get settled decide to go for a swim , the pool was freezing ( not even 70 degree) and the whirlpool/ hot tub had not been working for about two weeks. YES WE UNDERSTAND things happen beyond our control , but our expectations had been crushed and would have never happened if these issues were mentioned on the Hotel Site or the Booking sites , plus I’m signed up for text and emails , but no mention of the construction, the parking, or hot tub malfunction. Just communicated to us prior to our visit . Now transportation becomes an issue because we are no longer in a designated Hotel parking area. Cabs are not readily available as you may think, the Hotel stated it offered shuttle service within a 3mile radius , turns out that there’s only ONE GUY who doesn’t come on til 1-2 O’clock in the afternoon. NOW for the GOOD STUFF. The immediate folks that we interacted with couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating! JOHN the one shuttle driver was SUPER NICE , SO POLITE, communication was key , JOHN was WONDERFUL! He was a key part to turning our stay around to be greater than expected . Also OSCAR was head of food and beverage , he too was very accommodating offered to drive us around in between all his other duties, and Fun! A great sense of humor . Than there’s DEB the manager she was so helpful , she apologized for our inconvenience ( which wasn’t necessary) she had and employee turn up the heat in the pool since the hot tub was not working . She went above and beyond to try to make things right , and they weren’t really wrong , there was just need for better communication, in regard to the websites so that people could be informed of what was happeni

My room was busted so we walked back down to the lobby to get sent to another room. The second room was much better but the floor itself had a strange smell. I told management and it seemed like someone just sprayed febreeze then went back to work. No pool. No room service. No ice or vending machines. The 7-11 connected to the hotel used to be open 24/7 but now it closes at 8pm. Nothing was open within walking distance of the hotel due to the protests/rioting that happened a couple weeks ago. I was there with my 5yr old so I guess I was looking for a bit more to do other than watch tv in my room. I’ve paid less for this same hotel and gotten way more out of it then we did this time. But I can’t blame anyone it’s this pandemic making things hard for people to enjoy anything.

The room is small, but the facilities are very complete, there is a small refrigerator, the heating is very good! ! There is a parking lot next to the hotel, the kind of valet parking, it feels very casual, but it is very cheap, 6 knives a night. There are also two garages, one 18-knife one night, one 10-knife one night, the environment is not bad... next to 711, there are subways, there are small supermarkets.

I stay here for two nights in early September. Room 705. When checking in, it's good to know that you may pull up in front and park in an area marked by white diagonal lines. This is for checking in, unloading and loading only. Parking is $24/day off site two blocks away (with in and out privileges). Large two-story atrium with TV, seating, a mini market and a glass enclosed conference room at one end. Friendly, helpful staff. Socially distance markings on the floor and large pump hand sanitizers available. Two luggage carts with triangular bases are available in this area. Breakfast was provided as takeaway: yogurt, breakfast sandwich to microwave, fruit cup, and orange juice or water. The room is an accessible room which I requested as (when available) I prefer the walk in shower and raised toilet. Room was very comfortable and (mostly) very clean.* Closet with iron and board, microwave, small fridge, one-cup coffee maker. Desk area. Plenty of towels, very comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of good lighting as well. *Regarding cleanliness: I discovered when looking for the TV remote, that the area behind the console under the TV had not been cleaned in some time. Though this was a bit of a shocking discovery, the district manager happened to be on-site that day and handled the situation purposefully and properly. This situation aside, I believe this was an anomaly as the rest of the room and the property in general was clean and well kept elsewhere. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is one of the more reasonably priced in the downtown area and is close in and a very walkable area.

I stayed here for the Thanksgiving Holiday and it was once again an unbelievable stay. I come to Pittsburgh often, and this is now the only place I will stay. Each time I stay I am in a different room as I like seeing the different layouts (as I believe there are many different layouts of the rooms within the hotel). Furthermore, new to my stay this time which is UNBELIEVABLE is the fact that the hotel paired with Eddie Merlots for room service--their menu was in my room and the food was delivered to my door. Also, I could not get my son out of the game room on the 12th floor. I also enjoyed having access to the Gym downstairs (they remodeled the gym from the last time I was here and it looks EXCELLENT). I will not stay anywhere else; you cannot beat the hot tub on the roof, basketball court, and the many other amenities. Highly recommend!!!

Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Greentree I apologize in advance for the lengthy review but I needed to warn other people about this place, specially Hilton Members that time and time again bring business to the brand with our stays. If I could leave 0 star I would, this hotel left something to be desired. I really don't understand how they have 4 stars on Google, all I can think of is managment encouraging their employees, friends and families to write bogus reviews to raise their score. I really don't want to believe a Hilton brand would stoop so low but then again this hotel seem to be run by very rude and unprofessional people so I can't rule anything out. The property was old and outdated. Now I'm not super picky about things like that but when my room smells horrible and the ceiling in the bathroom on top of the tub is cracking and pieces of drywall are falling on me while showering, well that's when we have a problem. I understand a building being outdated but maintenance should never ever fall behind, especially in a Hilton brand. As a Hilton Diamond member that has stay with the brand everytime I travel domestically or internationally, this is not what I have come to expect from them. On top of that the staff was extremely unhelpful, rude and unwelcoming. They all seem like they did not want to be there and were all having the worst day according to their body language and behavior towards the guest. I was traveling with my partner and she's a god damn saint and didn't want to bother anyone or get anyone in trouble, she told me it was just a 3 nights stay and to just let it go, so I didn't say anything while we were there. Now the last drop came when we arrived home and I sat down, and went to check the receipt from the hotel(side note-I usually don't check my Hilton stay receipts till a couple days after check out, but this people did not inspired any confidence in me). I am glad I checked because there was a $267 cleaning fee attached. I immediately called the hotel but the agent said he didn't know what that cleaning fee meant so I had to call back the next day in the morning to speak with his manager Rebecca. I called the next day in the morning and asked to speak with Rebecca, they send me to her voice-mail, so I got tired of being thrown around like a god damn ball and decided to call the diamond desk. They contacted the hotel and put me through to talk to someone(this person was not the manager Rebecca, it was a front desk agent) The lady said the Cleaning Fee was for smoking. Now I was really pissed, I have ashtma and obviously do not smoke at all, and my partner does not smoke either, she doesn't even drink. I explained that it was not possible that we could have smoke in that room and asked what proved they had to make that statement and charge me a fee without even notifying me before leaving the hotel, all the lady said was that it smelled like someone smoked. I reiterated that it was not possible and she kept saying the same thing. A

I stayed here for like 2 weeks out of nowhere they decided to ban me. Probably because I kept staying on points and calling customer service to make them do their jobs ha. When I asked the reason I was ban she said my kids were rubbing the halls in the middle of the night which was a whole lie, my kids were in bed af 9/10 every night because they had school. But don’t come here It’s unkept and gross and they act like your parents telling you that you can’t have guests in your room and they make sure whoever is on the reservation is all that’s allowed in the pool! Not worth the money you pay. They need to be free.

Send your child to the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, and choose this hotel. After more than half a month of experience, I feel very good, and at the same time, I also feel the friendliness and kindness of the American people to the Chinese people. Johnstown is not so convenient to get around by car. The hotel service staff kindly arranged for their colleagues' cars and said there was no charge. How can this be OK? I will still express my heart and arrange the vehicle. I am very grateful to my guests in this foreign country. Next time I come, I will still choose to stay in the hotel again.

I previously stayed here over a decade ago and recently revisited during a trip to Pittsburgh and was pleasantly surprised to how different the hotel looked, in the best way possible! The entire facility has been undergoing renovations, and you can definitely tell upgrades have been made; the front lobby is spacious, clean, and inviting and is right near the area where free breakfast is hosted in the morning. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with our standard two bed room having a large desk/kitchenette space, a couch, and two tvs in addition to the beds! The location is great; right near a major road and plenty of shopping and restaurants—-perfect for those looking to stay in Pittsburgh but still be close to attractions!

The hotel's American breakfast pattern is OK, because there are many people to eat, you can get the room. The front parking lot is free, and there is a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in the room. The room is big enough. The downside is that the air conditioner has a loud sound and the wind direction cannot be adjusted. Because it is too late to stay, I don't know if the hotel can solve this problem.

The location is very good, close to the university, the parents are coming with their children during the school season, some are sending students to study, some are taking children to study, both at home and abroad.          The hotel is very clean, it is a bit strange, this is not a quilt cover, but a piece of sheet between the two sheets is sandwiched by a core, which is a bit 尴尬😅 fell asleep and was slipped out by the core, directly covered on the body, However, in general, even if the guest leaves the store, it is just a change of the sheets and not the core!           Breakfast is OK, American-style light meal, milk coffee, egg bread, fruit and cereal, basically.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed, but the location is great. I could smell ********* when I walked into the property. I didn't smell it in my room, but the hall way. All amenities were missing, and a box of Kleenex was also out in the room, so I asked for it right after my check in around 4pm. The front gave me amenities, and said Kleenex was out, but it’s been ordered previously, so it will be supplied on the following day. I kept asking the Kleenex everyday, but it never supplied. Later in the evening, I noticed the back of the restroom door had a lady's swimsuit(of course it's still wet) along with an one-piece dress...I removed it using a towel, but there was no trash removal for 3nights, 4days, no room cleaning, just added few amenities on the third day.

Definitely need a housekeeping supervisor to ensure that rooms are deep cleaned after each guest. The lack of detail with dusting the air vents, cleaning/dusting/disinfecting the commonly touched areas was very shocking for the prices. Even after the manager came to our room to ensure it was cleaned, it was not done to my satisfaction. The place made me feel filthy and unclean. Just to know that there was probably a lot of filth that was also unseen. You can definitely tell that new management (General manager, Housekeeping Manager, and Concierge) is needed and the staff needs to be retrained with their focus being customer satisfaction in all aspects of the guest's stay. The food was not good at all. Our birthday weekend would have been better if we stayed at a no frills 3 star hotel because at least we would not have such high expectations. The best part of our stay was my spa experience. It was top notch! Also, we appreciate the hotel accommodating our travel schedule by allowing us early check in and check out. This allowed us to save money and time that would have been used on a rental car and reduced time we had to spend carrying our bags around and waiting at the airport.

There is a parking lot next to the hotel, the kind of valet parking, it feels very casual, but it is very cheap, 6 knives a night. There are also two garages, one 18-knife one night, one 10-knife one night, the environment is not bad... next to 711, there are subways, there are small supermarkets.

Loved this place. I usually do enjoy Kimptons but not all of them nail the right combination of informality/boutiquishness and luxury. This one does. Check in staff was friendly and they had preupgraded me based on my IHG status and room request. The room was spacious, tasteful and beautifully appointed, with high end bed and bedding, fun and functional furniture and lighting and an absolutely fabulous bathroom with a freestanding tub and massive shower enclosure. Could have lived in that bathroom. The evening social hour featured a nice selection of wines and beers and a really tasty appetizer from the bar. Breakfast at the Commoner was well presented though I personally would like to see the addition of a few vegetarian items. Another positive of this Kimpton (for me) was that I asked to be on a dog-free floor and as far as I could tell I was. I never understood how allowing pets made sense in this caliber of hotel. Two minor suggestions I can think of are to supply a water bottle or two in the room (tap water came out warm and didn't taste great) and don't put decorative pillows on the beds adjacent to the sleeping pillows (unhygienic since they never get washed), Still, overall a great stay and a property I'd recommend to others.

I've traveled all over the country and this hotel has the finest staff I've ever encountered with no close second. To a person they are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It's a true pleasure to talk to the folks at the front desk when coming and going. The location can't be matched as it's between the Strip District and Downtown. The rooms and the entire facility are immaculately maintained. I've been coming to Pittsburgh for sporting events for years and I never consider staying at any other hotel. In alphabetic order: Abby, Melissa, Shauni, and Thomas are particularly noteworthy.

This is the second time I review this Hampton. Same good expereince. Same clean, specious room. Same good breakfast. Same free parking (the only hotel offer safe, free downtown hotel parking). No complain. Although it is not new and flashy, it still worth the high price! Just like to offer some tips: 1. Book way early, better price. (pay a little more to get free cancelation benefit, it will still cheaper than booking close to stay date.) Also this place sold out fast. 2. The rooms are big. Easily and comfortably fit 5-6 adults. (just one bathroom though) This is good if you have big family. 3. Download the Hilton App to see if you can check in earlier (via the app) and pick your room. Use your phone as room key. Need not check in with front desk. (We still went to front desk later, to get the key cards though, becauce all my family members are adults and like to have their own key, to get in/out as they wish. Only one phone can be used as room key, unless all are hilton honor members. )
