We stayed here for 5 nights in September and would certainly recommend this hotel. It's a family run hotel and everyone was very helpful and attentive. We had the a room for 3, to the front, (Room 21 I believe) which had views to the sea, harbor and main square. Amenities included AC, good size fridge, TV in both rooms, hairdryer and coffee / tea making facilities. Like other reviewers have stated the breakfast buffet options were outstanding with a wide range of choices. There is a pool to the rear of the hotel but we did not use it, simply because we were out touring the island or at the beach. The hotel has a great central location right on the main square of Adamas with restaurants, bakeries and shops right at the door. The bus stop is also directly outside the hotel with buses to all parts of the island and there are also several car / bike rental location close by. One thing I would warn against is if you are planning on renting a car. I don't think the hotel has parking facilities so you may want to check on that since parking in Adamas appeared to be at a minimum. We didn't encounter that problem since we rented an ATV and there was a dedicated parking area for bikes/ATVs directly across the square from the hotel.

Having read previous reviews before my stay here I wasn’t expecting much as a lot aren’t very positive, but I was pleasantly surprised. We arrived much earlier than we were planning to & the family who run the place had our room all ready and were very accommodating. We stayed 5 nights and despite lack of photos the hotel DOES have a pool as pictured. Breakfasts are decent, room size is good. Only negative I experienced was the wifi wasn’t connecting 95% of the time but maybe the router just needed to be restarted. Would recommend !

We stayed at Milos Hotel for 4 nights (2 double rooms). Before we arrived they happily helped us arrange transport from the port (to mention, the hotel is probably a 7 minute walk from the port but with our heavy luggage and late arrival we preferred to pay for transportation). When we arrived we were greeted by Sophia, brought to our rooms, told a bit about the island and given restaurant recommendations. The rooms look exactly like the pictures they are very cute, comfortable and spacious enough with a nice balcony. The bathroom was clean. In the morning they have an EXCELLENT breakfast with an assortment of food for all tastes, eggs, ham, toast, fruits, yogurt, cereal, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. For the days that we wanted to rent a car they accommodated us and called multiple car companies to get us the best car at the best price! We were unfortunately in Milos during a very windy time and they assisted us in best planning our days to avoid the windy areas. They even made reservations for us at severest restaurants for us! The hotel was walking distance to the city Center, bus stop and many delicious restaurants, amazing location! Would definitely recommend again :) Thank you Sophia and your team!

We had 3 days in Milos whilst island hopping and absolutley adored the island - our favourite. The hotel is a nice place to stay in Adamas which is good for ferry connections etc. The rooms were pleasant and the hotel is clean. If we came to Milos again we'd definitley stay in Pollonia - it's much more upmarket and more like the places we visit. if you visit Milos you absolutley must do a boat trip to the Kleftiko Caves. It was absolutley amazing. Probably the best we've ever done, (and we've done lots). We were encouraged by the hotel to rent a car but you really don't need to, (and were glad we didn't). We got everywhere using the busses and once you know the times and routes you can get anywhere.

Last Summer we had the best vacations of our lives in Milos at Tsakanos Accommodation. Milos is a small island in the Aegean sea where progress is slow. If you are seeking for 5* hotels, gourmet restaurants and sushi don't go there. The virtues of the island are the kindness of its people, the unbelievably amazing beaches and shoreline and the excellent Mediterranean cuisine. These reflects on Tsakanos property as well. Accommodation is not 5*. We had a spacious self catering Apartment, functioning in all respects (A/C, WiFi etc.). CLEAN. Breakfast was served everyday in the apartment at a time of our choice, so plenty full that we had to ask for things to be left out. Mrs Maria Vichou is a business woman with a lot of obligation, however, whenever we requested her assistance she willingly responded. In our attempt to visit as many places as possible we didn't visit to a vacation destination twice. Certainly we will revisit Milos and we will stay in Tsakanos properties.

Valerie and I want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone for making our recent return to Milos so special. A special thank you to Elias and the reservations team for working with us through the many schedule changes due to Covid flight restrictions, etc. We would also like to commend the management for "reworking" the breakfast arrangements. We SO loved the buffet offered on our first visit, but we do understand the need to change to protect staff and guests under these uncertain times(Covid). The "breakfast basket" approach is an excellent idea and we discovered during our stay that the quality and service is outstanding. Congratulations to the kitchen staff. As with our first visit to Santa Maria Village - the pool/bar area is fantastic! We highly recommend Santa Maria Village for your stay on Milos. We will return for our nextvisit to Milos!

Good: Rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. Bathrooms the same. Location is very convenient, about 5-7’ walking to the port, plenty of restaurants around. The two young guys at the front desk are very polite. Bad: it was kind of chilly/windy at night and we had to take cold showers. They have a solar and also an electric system, so I find unacceptable that they just don’t turn the electric system when they have at least half of the place occupied.

I discovered the Vivere a Plakes on a blog when researching Milos, i cant remember the name of the blog which is a shame but they were very enthusiastic about the complex. I looked it up on trip advisor and saw nothing but great reviews. Heres another We loved our stay, for us it was a great location, you are on one side of a U shaped valley and on the other side is the village of Plaka. Its about a 15 minute walk around the valley to reach Plaka so takes no time at all. Myself, my partner and our friend stayed there so we had a two bedroom apartment. It was spotlessly clean and quite spacious. The host/owner couldnt have been nicer and very helpful with lots of advice on what we could do on the island. If we were ever going back to Milos we would book the Vivere a Plakes. Breakfast is provided for a small fee if you so choose and is brought to your apartment. You can flush the toilet paper down the toilet, which we couldnt in other places we stayed in Greece so very important point, lol.

We stayed at Giannis for 5 nights and loved it! We contacted the hotel with our ferry arrival time and were collected in a mini van at the port, free of charge. Our room was huge! It was so nice to spread out over the 5 days. We were helped booking a rental car and a taxi to drop us at the airport. There is a laundry 50m from the hotel that was cheap and fast, great if you are an extended traveler. Restaurants and bars were also very close, usually 5min walk. My only gripe was the bed was hard, but so far I have found all beds hard in Greece.

We just spent 5 nights in the topaz suite. The suite is just great (with a small issue on the bathroom, I’ll get there later), lots of room, nicely appointed and very comfortable. A/C only works when the door key is in a plug next to the door, so you need to be in, and with all windows closed. Not a huge problem, though. Beds were also comfortable, cleaning staff always did a great job. Breakfast is served on your personal deck exactly when you want it - you just need to order it the night before through the in-room menu. I find this is a nice touch, but unfortunately the topaz suite’s deck is in direct sunlight in the morning and the umbrella does not help. The other suites do not have this problem since the decks are in the shade. The bathroom has a tub (whirlpool) with an handheld shower head and no curtain. One can live with it, but If I were the management I’d remove the tub and replace it with a huge walk-in shower. The one very annoying thing is the wi-fi coverage in the suite, which was basically non-existent. It worked better at the pool and way better at the reception desk but in the room it wouldn’t simply work. Weren’t it for this, I’d have given a full five star. Finally, the pool was lovely and so was the staff all over the place.

We stayed here for 5 days in Sept 2019. Rooms were spacious, super clean, incredibly friendly & helpful staff. Voula (the Owner) is one of the kindest people we have ever met.Helped us organize some trips & extended every courtesy we could ask for. Close to town. Walking to town was easy and enjoyable. You cannot beat greek friendliness. The breakfasts were ample and home cooked. Would definitely recommend and plan on returning. The short walk to town is splendid as well as the beach right across the street. We swam every morning & had our breakfast coffee each day. Efharisto Voulla!

We were there for 9 days in June 2019! Panos, the owner of the Ippocampos Studios was so kind to arrange a pick of for us (4 adults) at the airport upon arrival. It was just a good start of a very nice experience, Mrs Flora, although limited with Italian or English language skills was always helpful and pleasantly smiling, Panos, her son, fluent in english and good Italian language understanding skills too, has been always very helpful with us and recommended where to go to make sure we had a good experience in Milos, a little paradise island. Ippocampos studios is a relatively small structure with approx 14 apartments; the place is very tidy and the rooms (both ours and a couple of others which we could check...) were roomy and very well kept. Some offering a sea view from the balcony on the ground floor and 1st floor. Air cond was available and systematically used at night. Kitchen corner had all the necessary equipment and bathroom was comfortable with reasonably large shower corner. What made the real difference for us was the level of cleaning and service, with blankets and bathroom towels changed every other day. The place was very pleasantly quiet with few but discrete and not noisy guests (many of them I found out being returning guests, year after year... good sign!), and it was nice to wake up in the morning by the chickens in the chicken's yard, nearby... The Ippocampos structure is located outside of the center of the village and it takes a 15-20 min walk to get to the center... better managed with a car or motorbike, specially if under the sun with a temp easily exceeding 30 C.

The breakfast is wide, very clean and tidy, and the rooms are not small. We stayed for two days, and we have to rent a car, my friends, it’s so far away from the village in front of the shop. ! Clean basic room. Great little details such as coffee in the cupboards and ice in the freezer which made us feel at home. The only detail was the shower was bit difficult to attach to the wall and there was no shower gel so make sure you bring some! Good location, walking distance to restaurants and bars. Our room had a small outside area which was great, but if you have a phobia of cats you should steer clear as they are everywhere (all over Milos and the apartments). We like cats so it’s all good but just something to keep in mind if that kind of thing bothers you.
