The Synergy B is one of the newest hotels in Singapore, having opened in 2020. Woodlands Train Checkpoint is located approximately 17km away while Singapore Changi Airport is 27km away. There's plenty to do nearby, with Pasir Panjang, E-Waves Fishbyte Pte Ltd and Jas Indulge Nail Spa all within a short distance. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Singapore hotel features parking on site.

Thank to you to Firdaus, Mariam and Zuraidah ( not sure whether I got the name right) for making my 1 week work-stay trip very pleasant. They are the nicest front desk people that I’ve met and ensure my request are being met. Thank you Firdaus for arranging me to a better room for my prayer necessity upon check in. Your help is greatly appreciated by me and husband. Thanks a lot once again everybody. Ibis should be blessed to have you people serving the customers with all the helpful thoughts.

Very near to Buona Vistor MRT station about 4-5 mins walking distance. Staycation with peaceful environment at this location since people are not crowded over there such as like in the city. Since the hotel is just beside Buona Vistor Mall, you can go down anytime and looking for a food easily at food court or the restaurant. Love that staycation moment and looking forward for further staycation if have chances. ❤️❤️❤️

Our brand new shipping container hotel in one-north is finally completed! We have two 40 foot containers located next to block 77 and 81 Ayer Rajah Crescent. Both containers are designed by award winning LAUD Architects who incidentally also designed The Deck (a photography gallery previously located at Prinsep Street in Singapore). The architect decided to design an industrialized theme for both containers because of its location in the heart of JTC Launchpad, a start-up technology/business community nestled within old flatted factories. Both designs are unique. The shipping container next to Blk 77 has a corten/rusty exterior finish that compliments the nuances of an industrial setting while the container next to Blk 81 has been cladded with “mirrors” to reflect the mature Angsana trees fronting the container. The end result is amazing as the container seems to be invisible! This is possibly the one and only mirror container hotel in the world.

This was definitely a unique experience! Loved the coziness and the amenities within the container (there are four Aircon units in the room…well-equipped itself is an understatement). The location, however, was a bit of an issue for us. Firstly, this container hotel is located at the back of Haw Par Villa (a tourist attraction). You’d need to walk up a hill for about 5-10 minutes to reach the container. There is a road that leads to the hotel directly, but taxi drivers / grab drivers get lost very easily as the container shares the same postal code as the tourist attraction. Do also note that if you return to the hotel beyond 1130pm, you will need to call the Haw Par Villa guard house to open the gate for you, or else you will be locked out from accessing your container hotel even if you have the door card. But that being said, this location also means that you are embraced by the nature sights of trees and foliages, which in itself is a nice respite from Singapore’s urban chaos. One suggestion that is worth the management’s consideration would be to automatically send a check-in manual to the booking email address (something like what Airbnb landlords do), without necessitating the individual to call up the management and end up in a back and forth to figure out the check-in procedures. I am not too fussy about this as I understand a hotel as new as container hotel will need time to firm up its processes, but this is a crucial step to take if the management intends for this business to scale.

We first came to Pegasus hotel in Dec 2018 during the year end holidays. We stayed for 10 days and it was pretty ok back then. They provided breakfast for the package we bought. Honestly the breakfast was passable. The first two days they put us in a small room that was not clean and made one feel claustrophobic. However they did upgrade us (family with 3 young kids) to a larger room for a small upgrade fee. This certainly improved our stay. Having said that, one has to ignore the barking dogs from the training school next door. Since our first experience in that Hotel was ok given that it was near nature and in a convenient location, we decided to purchase another 10 day package because we frequently come to Singapore. Big mistake! In Mar 2019, we came back to the hotel for 3 nights since we have 10 days from the package. What a disappointment! This time the hotel was under OYO 104, they decided to not honour providing breakfast. It was just a bag of cheap bread and orange cordial drink that was left sitting on the table for show as I saw no-one eating it. It was upsetting that they chose not to inform anyone who bought the package of the changes. The television in the room did not work and almost non of the safes were working. The toilet was very dirty with excrement (previous guest had bad tummy I suppose) all over the seat. Had to remind the front desk to get someone to come and clean the toilets again. Since our stay was just 3 nights and most of the day, we were out running errands doing other things, we only came back to sleep. The barking dogs were very noisy. This time we had our 1 year old with us and he woke up several times because of the noise. Just a couple of weeks back, we booking our next stay in August 2019 as we have 7 nights left in the package. They sent us a confirmation slip and all was good until I called them to confirm the booking. I did this mainly because I heard that the hotel is under a new management now. When I called the office, I was basically told that they will not honour the memberships. So basically, our (SGD148 x 7 = SGD1036) just vanished as we were told that they don't have our booking or will take our booking even though I have a confirmation email from them. Our flights have already been booked for and we will be travelling with our 3 young kids again. I have emailed the hotel reservations department and marketing staff but all they are doing is playing the stalling game. I am beginning to wonder how many more people have bought the package and were told it was invalid after they arrived at the hotel? For the price we paid for this hotel, we could get better elsewhere. Save your money and hassle! This Hotel has gone from OK to worst!

The four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.

We managed to do an early check-in at 1pm, was a smooth and fast process at the counter. Parking was at Alexandra Mall located in the same building and we were given complimentary carpark coupon to utilize on the day of check-out. Food and amenities were really close-by, it was interesting to just walk around and explore Queenstown area. Bed was comfortable, the room had high ceiling which made it even more spacious. We were assigned a room on the Club Lounge floor, view was spectacular and was facing the pool and also had views of the sea. The air-con was cold and thanks to that, we had such a good night's sleep! We had breakfast at The Carvery on the 7th floor the next morning, food variety was decent, café-styled food. We also managed to do a late check-out at 1pm, which makes it's more worthwhile that we had a 24hrs stay at the hotel. The pool view was amazing, we managed to get a 5pm slot for swimming. The pool was spacious, able to do laps and also just sit by the jacuzzi like area to enjoy the bubbles. Thank you Park Hotel Alexandra for the wonderful stay and wonderful service, we would most definitely return for another!

1. The luxurious set, the room is antique, the style of Southeast Asia is strong, the height is high, the bed is very beautiful, and there is a sofa. The bathroom thief is large, there are two faucets, and the two people do not affect each other. 2. There is a cold water in the room with a copper pot. Boiled water can be piled together and drunk directly. Also delivered wine and fruit. 3. Breakfast is a long mountain road on the 2nd floor behind the villa, then in the restaurant on the top, go to the end of the small house and turn right, breakfast half outdoor and semi-open. There are not many things, but you can eat enough, porridge is not bad, bread can be grilled and then eaten. Each person can also order a free meal according to the menu. 4. From the labrador park subway station at night, walk downstairs to the villa, very beautiful and quiet. 5. The younger brother at the front desk can speak Chinese, but a little bit can do it. The service is in place and very welcoming. 6. If you are cheaper next time, go live. Hahaha! ! !

I first stayed at the SEA Hotel back in 2014 as it was recommended by my aunt and uncle who always stay here when in Singapore. I love the place. It’s old and rustic (a throwback to another time) but for $100 SGD a night with a fabulous vegetarian buffet breakfast included (Kwan Im restaurant) and prime location in Bugis you couldn’t ask for anything more. Also when booking the staff are excellent in replying to queries and give very detailed information about getting to the hotel and airport transport options and nearby attractions. Free wifi was included and it was fast and reliable. The staff on the front desk were friendly especially the girl who checked me in. Bugis+ shopping mall (10 levels with cinemas, food/retail options galore and taxi rank) is less than 5 mins walk. I use this as a taxi pick up/drop off point to various attractions from the hotel. Bugis MRT Station is 5-10 mins walk and is on the airport line (10th station from the airport, with 1 change at Tanah Merah, cost only SGD 2.50) The Kwan Im Temple is right next door and worth checking out (it gets very busy with local worshippers). Directly outside is a pedestrian mall with a flurry of activity with market stalls and street vendors. The hotel is simple and rooms unadorned with only the basics but it’s all there and excellent value for money. They do request you leave your key if you go out and recollect (24 hour reception) but I conveniently forgot to do this most of the time and it was never a problem. Oh and don’t even think about bringing durians to the hotel!

I arrived at Hotel about 03:35 AM. It was the time that all the people are sleeping. I was a little bit confused about my check-in because when I arrived at the counter he didn't ask me about my check in information. He just only asked me that I was paid or not and I said I've paid already then he showed me my room without asking to show my passport or check in information. Did he know me that I'm the girl who booked at 19th and arrived at 20th?? Maybe!!!🧐🧐 Never mind! The room is very fantastic and comfortable. I felt like I was in an spaceship🚀😅🥰. Since I was travel alone in Singapore I was afraid of sleeping at room alone. But the hotel is very safe .I really loved this place and next time when I come to Singapore, I promised that I'll book this hotel again ❤❤❤❤❤

We were a group of 12 and opted to stay in this hostel booking the whole 12 beds room, which we were very glad to have as it was the room at the top floor of the hostel, meaning the less noisy and more isolated one from the rest of the chaos. Let's start with the room: we had bunk beds with everything you may need: sheets, pillows, curtains to close them at night (great stuff for privacy this!) and personal lockers (you need to bring your own padlock). In the 12 beds room there was a private bathroom too with 2 toilets and a shower, which was very handy as it gave us some privacy. There are also more showers and toilets in the other floors that we could use. Breakfast was provided in a weird way: the first night we arrived we noticed a big plastic box in the room. The surprise was they have left us ”the breakfast” for the following 2 days in there, which consisted of bread, jam, tea and coffee. Not what we expected, but it did the job. And now let's move to the worse bit of the hostel: the common areas. There is way too much people hosted in the hostel for the size of the common living space they have. The kitchen is tiny, and there is a sofa at the entrance that is always busy and with lots of people sleeping on it, so you can't really use it. The people staying in the common areas (not sure if they were guests of the hostel or not) was a bit peculiar, so we were glad to have our own space. The front desk is not very friendly but the check-in and out was smooth and easy (beware check-in is not allowed before 3pm). Overall it's a very basic hostel but the location is good.

Location is good for no lack of food. Near coffee shops, hawker centres and shopping mall(bugis). Have many selection and varieties of local food. Amenities not so fantastic. Bare minimum and there is no in-house slippers. Only have body towels.Shower area is very small, enough to house a 70 kg adult COMFORTABLY. Air con control is of the old type, non digital. 4 pillows and quite comfy plus mattress is quite firm. Only minus point is that side table is quite far from the bed on one side. The mini sofa is not for lying. Awkward shape (see photo with bag). Though many TV channels, very old shows like Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Net by Sandra bullock. has Chinese language channels and local ones HDB blocks are very close by so need to draw curtains for more privacy. No water heater as hot water is from roof top tank. Have to wait for hot water to come on after switching on like 5 minutes. Reception staff was very polite and chirpy when we checked in. Staff name is Xiao Xuan and she gave us extra room cards when we requested. Didnt spend too long at the counter as she was efficient. Great service!

As an Ascott group member, there are decent expectations of an Ascott experience in all the properties in which I had once stayed (Ascott, Somerset, Citadines). Citadines Rocher (recently opened in 2020) was one of my top choices in having a local staycation because of its location and price range. However, it was an overall disappointing experience, and here’s why: 1. No daily housekeeping service 2. Our bathroom door could not close. It was completely off the ledge. 3. Reception is busy all the time. Phone calls are often not answered 4. This hotel was most probably a designated hotel used for both Malaysian citizens who were unable to return home due to locked borders, as well as returning Singaporeans to serve their mandatory 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN). There were confirmed COVID-19 cases within my period of stay. We were notified by a letter from the management. The least the management could do was to provide a mask or sanitizers to guests. We also chanced upon 2 medical workers fully donned in PPE escorted a guest to the ambulance. Scary stuff. 5. We took our own trash out of the room since day 1 of check-in. It was not cleared even upon checking out. Dear Citadines Rocher, please review your services. I had absolute faith and would like to continue giving my support to Ascott despite this awful stay.

The location of this hotel is definitely not as accessible as all other hotels I went before. It is only easier if you go via car for the first time. Subsequently when you explore the area a bit more, then you can try the path via the UBS building itself. This information perhaps should be made known on the hotel's website. In terms of cleanliness, one of the cups in my room was not washed cleanly. I can see the lipstick mark of a previous user, with some coffee dripping down that lip mark. Had to manually wash it. I would have been more prepared if I brought some detergent along. In terms of service, you must know that they do not provide additional towels for you, even upon request. You can only go and exchange with what you already have. Example, if you need an extra towel to wrap your hair, it is not possible. One room, if 2 pax, they will only give u 2 towels and one floor carpet. I think this is not a good point. The cafe lodge is nicely decorated, just that food have to wait at least 30mins, even if it is a simple set. And not all food are available. But can just chitchat while waiting, or maybe next time just order in advance. The good thing is that at least there is no insect in the room and bed sheets are pretty clean.

Affordable hotel to stay in, the room is very cozy & staff provides good service. Just didn’t like the fact that there’s no nice channel to watch on the TV, just old shows. There’s no hair-dryer in the room, which i think is an essential for everyone esp if your hair is long. Other than that i really enjoyed my stay, just below the hotel there are affordable hawker foods, + mama shops, 7-11/ cheers! We can get essential needs/ snacks in the middle of the night when we’re hungry. Won’t break your pocket.

My wife and I have stayed in quite a number of hotels in Singapore before for staycations. For this: 1) In-Room Facilities. - When I was about to sit on the WC, i expected to be greeted by warmth. But it was not so. Guess i was pampered by The Clan Hotel's heated toilet seat. This is just a nice to have kind of facility and not a deal breaker. - Aircon. When turned on, it was too cold so we turned it off. The good thing is even though it's off, we could still feel the air is cold and as if there is still a breeze throughout the night. I notice some hotels are like that which i think is good to prevent molds. So this is a plus. - Bathroom mirrors. I love the magnifying mirror. For the wall mirror, it gets misty easily after a shower and some time after. So after showing, i can't do a shave since i can't see myself in the mirror. If the hotel had a switch to warm up those mirrors, it would be a good improvement. - Bottles for showering. When i first used the sink, i looked for the soap. I didn't find any but saw 2 bottles at the sink. They looked the same and just decided to use one to wash my hands. When it was time to shower, there were 3 big bottles in affixed to the wall. Honestly, i couldn't tell the difference after looking at the front and backs. I wanted to know which one was shampoo and which i could use for my face. In the end, i showered that day not knowing which was which. The next morning, i showered again, picking a random bottle to use. I told my wife that and she said it's labelled differently. I went to look again and indeed everything is the same except the small difference of words. I can't believe it. If it would have been more obvious it would save time and frustration. - Light. We notice there's only 1 main switch for all lights, excluding the 2 bed-side lamps and bathroom. The good for us is it's easy. We don't have to deal with multiple switches. The bad part is 2 of the downlights which were too bright, we couldn't simply turn them off while keeping the rest on. On our bed facing the TV, there was the downlight near the entrance and the downlight near the window which were too bright. In the end we turned the main switch off and just used the bedside lamp to watch TV. We could deal with it as mentioned. I checked that the room uses compact fluorescent lighting which is fine. (although i felt the downlights mentioned in those areas and the bathroom were a little too strong) I'd like to warn the hotel NOT to consider using LEDs in future as it would be much worse. This is because LEDs do not have proper diffusers, deflectors or cove to protect the light from reaching the eyes. Also, LEDs tend to be too intense most of the time when used as room lighting. - Bed. The king size bed was very good in terms of sleeping. The only bad thing was when i was propped up watching TV. I already had 2 pillows behind me but the incline was still not gradual enough so my neck didn't feel comfortable. I had to adjust by sitting up higher in order to feel fine. This can be fixed if the bed headboard had an incline or similar. - TV. It was quite frustrating switching channels. Pressing ”Up” didn't mean you could cover all the channels. We had to press the main menu to go back to the channel list and select from there each time. The hotel should consider fixing this as high priority so that using the TV is much smoother. - As this is a very old hotel, before booking, we had read some reviews saying even though there was a renovation early 2022, there were still some defects. Thankfully, we didn't see any defects. Our room was 1007 (10 floor). 2) Service. Sales staff greeted us genuinely when we checked in. When the same staff us coming into the lift, she also greeted us. When we left the breakfast area, another male staff thanked and bowed to us for coming while he was talking to his colleagues. All this enhanced our experience in the hotel. 3) Window View. Only could see opposite building.

No contact check in/out was easy and fuss free. Though you would have to download the app, the hosts were always online and quick to respond to any needs. Cabin M may be small for 2 pax apart from the bed, but i stayed alone and it was just right for me. The shared baths were mostly kept clean as housekeeping would come by every now and then. Toilets were dependent on whether the other people on the same floor used it responsibly as well. Kitchen had basic necessities e.g. microwave, water dispenser and sink. Overall, I loved the location the most as it was very convenient to get food or to the MRT! Would be back again

Overall a great experience but slightly lacking in the basic amenities/service (no complimentary water and reception was not responsive). The room is extremely small in comparison to the photos but that is my own fault for not reading the reviews beforehand to manage my own expectations. Took us awhile to figure out how to operate the Jacuzzi but it was an enjoyable experience. Something to note is that the hotel will not entertain early check in and check out requests as they are fully booked during this period. Very small but cosy hotel located in geylang. Plenty of eateries around the hotel. A nightlife worth exploring. Accessible to buses and two MRT stations - kallang and aljunied MRT. Even though the hotel is run down, the basic amenities are provided. The cheapest budget hotel we have been so far.

Little India
Staff Aishah was very friendly and helpful! Room was neat and clean, except the TV remote was dusty and the hairdryer was old and had a weird burnt smell coming out of it when I used it - I was worried it would cause a short circuit. I was disappointed the shampoo pump did not work and the mini refrigerator was not cold. The renovation works were quite loud and every once in a while, someone would be slamming the door outside (both in the day and night). It was hard to have a good rest without getting startled suddenly. Despite all these shortcomings, I still enjoyed my stay and would return if the price is right.

Orchard Road
Stayed there for a night fully paid using cash (not using singapore rediscover voucher) the boutique hotel is located just behind LKY Oxley home. Walking distance was 10 mins away from Orchard Central. The room is spacious and the toilet is clean. The hotel provides toiletries and we had our breakfast using the hotel voucher at Artisan Boulangerie Co located at Killiney Road which is 3 mins Walking distance with a choice of pastry and offered a top up of drink to large size at $1.05. The hotel is only a 2 storey property. Front desk staff was polite except that they were rushing through telling us the T&C and house rules of the hotel and there was a $100 deposit charged to my credit card which may take some time for the refund. Sound proof isn't that good as we keep hearing sounds of slamming door whenever someone opens their room door. Unfortunately the neighbour beside my room keeps singing like a crow and as the outerside of the showing area is partially enclosed, so we can hear it loud and clear in our room. Didn't get to use the pool due to the location as it is just right underneath the walkway to the lobby. There is no privacy as whoever enter or exit the hotel is able to just look down and that is where the pool is. Although it is clean and spacious but given the location and the condition of the hotel not being sound proof, I will not patronise again.

Lavender
When I arrive , check in counter had no guests but had 4-5 staff at the counter. They were chatting among themselves so I just went to a random one that finally made eye contact. During check in it was fine, except he didn’t really tell me anything like check out time, which lobby to use and was rather dismissive? Just gave me the keys say ok 😂 The room was dusty and the floor was a bit sticky if you walk barefooted. There’s no toilet paper but got tissue paper. Fridge was not cleared out from previous guests so I didn’t use it. Walls are really thin and I could hear the cleaners(?) talking super loudly amongst themselves and I could hear the tv from the room opp ? Pretty sure I didn’t get the free upgrade room either but I didn’t ask cos I wasn’t sure what’s the difference at this point. Check out is only thru the counter and had to queue which is fine but when a family came in and cut queue the counter just went with it? If there’s a quick check out box somewhere please enlighten me. Cos the previous time I was there the counter said there isn’t . I know this sounds like petty stuff but the last time I was there it wasn’t like this
