4.69km from Agia TriadaSS is in a great location, on one side you can see the sun rise over the sea and on the other you can see the sunset behind the hills. You can see the small port of Piso Lavadi, where you can eat some delicious seafood at a number of restaurants. Our room was big and spacious, with some nice touches. Quite stylish in its design, with a separate shower room and toilet. The bed was comfortable and wifi was pretty good throughout the resort. We really enjoyed having breakfast in the morning. A great setting, with an excellent variety of continental and cooked items. Great to have fresh figs in the morning. The resort is located close to the beach or beaches. In one direction you can walk to Piso Lavadi and Logaras, the other will take you towards Drios and Golden Beach. The walks are great, we went the monastery, which you can see at the top of the hill. On the otherside is Molos beach, which is lovely and a good walk away. In the opposite direction you can walk along the coast to Golden Beach. The walks are all very safe and you'll find some nice small beaches and coves. As I said, the resort has potential to be great. It's new and I have factored that into my review. Although the staff were professional, friendly and polite - we think they probably need a bit of customer service training to boost their confidence and really deliver a 5 star service. Room cleaning also lacked a bit consistency, We think they rushed it and generally didn't pay too much attention to detail - e.g. replacing using cups, cleaning the toilet properly and replacing tea and coffee sachets. We also noticed there wasn't a health and safety chart in the room. All of the above can be rectified with some training and detail monitoring. It can be an excellent resort to stay. Anyway, we had a very pleasant stay and would stay again.

4.95km from Agia TriadaExcellent Greek style small hotel. Owners of the family hotel and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The view from the room was fantastic including spectacular sunrises over Naxos. This is the first time ever that we have a decent working fridge with freezer box, ice every night! A hair dryer, on request, the most powerful we’ve ever had. Also the shower was brilliant, reams of hot water whenever. The shower room was a bit small, but that was the only problem. It is environmentally friendly as you could have your room serviced when you chose, daily or every few days. Due to the current situation breakfast was served in a picnic bag, juice, sandwiches, boiled eggs and cake to eat on your balcony. You could also request iced coffee to go with it. As a result of the current situation we had the attractive pool to ourselves. Plenty of choice of places to eat locally in the evening. We really enjoyed our 10 days at the Arkas Inn. Very good value for money. Unreservedly recommend this hotel and we hope to return. Thank you.
4.98km from Agia TriadaI have just returned from a week staying in this lovely place. I was collected from the airport by Spiro, as arranged by email when I booked direct. My room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the large balcony had stunning views. The whole place is clean and bright with well tended plants, gardens and public areas. My room was spotlessly clean. The location is ideal, a five minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants of pretty Piso Livadi and around the headland to Logras beach. Marpissa, an idyllic traditional Greek village, is within walking distance and well worth a visit. Mini markets and a bakery can be found in Piso Livadi and a 15 minute walk towards Marpissa will take you to a larger supermarket. The bus stop is a few minutes away and from here you can get to Naoussa, Parikia and Lefkes. However, it is the warm welcome you get from the owner and staff that make this place outstanding. Evdokia couldn't have been more kind or helpful. On my arrival I was disappointed to have just missed the fig season! She took me to her own fig tree to see if there were some left and when this proved unfruitful she gave me some of her home made fig jam which I enjoyed with my Greek yogurt for breakfast...delicious! At a difficult time for the hospitality industry the staff were cheerful, helpful and professional and could not do enough to ensure that my stay was a happy one; this is especially appreciated when travelling alone. Just a lovely place to stay
4.99km from Agia TriadaEverything during our stay was just amazing! Cozy hotel, uphill location with great view and stunning sunset and sky colors! Fresh & tasty breakfast every morning! Mr. Makis-the owner, the family and the staff were always around from the time we arrived till the check out, polite, discreet and helpful, ensuring that everything works well! This hotel is definitely highly recommended for the price, quality and level of service!

5.03km from Agia TriadaWe met Vlassis (owner of the studios) directly at the port of Paros. He brought us with the car to the accomodation and on the way we've got a sightseeing tour. The rooms have a direct view to the see. Vlassis father, a smiling old man, is part of the habitants and helps where there is need. Also the very friendly roommade i have to mention. Every morning she brought us greek joghurt with honey, coffee, juice and fresh fruits and cleaned up every day the Room. Also a beautiful garden is in front of the studios. Vlassis helped with the motorbike rental and we had a really good 125ccm moto. Piso livadi is a beautiful small harbor village with all things you need. Thx Vlassis and his family for the nice Time! Natascha and Gerry
5.06km from Agia TriadaDue to my job as a concierge assistant, I travel a lot in various parts of Greece and especially the Cycladic complex. On my business trips to Paros, me and my colleagues booked at Londos Hotel. As I stayed in 2 different rooms, I must admit that the lodging was very neat and meticulously clean, as well as Staff was really friendly. It is a family run business and they do their best to accommodate every guest's request. They missed a step as I think that there is a space for improvement in the breakfast. Unfortunately the coffee (Cappuccino) was not good and it needs some improvement. Apart from that, I highly recommend it and I will visit it again.
Hotels Near Agia Triada In Paros Review
The owner and the staff are so lovely people! They welcomed us with open arms and we felt immediately home. Also very helpful in recommending the good spots/ to do's on the Island. The rooms are spacious and very clean! The beds are also very comfortable. It is perfectly located near the beach, the restaurants and the port. Beautiful garden with a lovely smell of the flowers. If we visit Paros again, we would definitely stay with Spyros again! Thanks for the amazing stay, we didn't want to leave.
The staff were so lovely, helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful.... set up in the hills above Parikia, with a stunning view across the bay. It's very charming and full of character, set in beautiful gardens, and a terrace with amazing views. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. We had a huge (!) terrace overlooking Parikia. Unfortunately it was SO (!) windy while we were there, we didn't get to use it. Also there was only a small table & 2 chairs on it, which seemed a waste for the space (sun loungers up there would have been lovely as it was totally private & not overlooked, unlike most of the balconies). My only slight complaint would be that there were no mattress or pillow protectors on the bed. And the sheets were too small for the bed. But it was very comfortable! There is some road noise at the hotel, with a busy road running either side of it. The walk down into Parikia is hazardous as there is no (!) lighting and no pavements..... and the (busy) traffic is crazy. I definitely would not have felt safe had I been travelling alone. However, it is only a 10minute walk to the centre of town and the beach. BUT.... I would definitely recommend this hotel. The breakfast was lovely and very well 'stocked'. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. It really is a secluded hidden gem. I really do hope that we have an opportunity to return.

The location is cosy and the stuff excellent. They gave us some cool suggestions, we did all of them and we did not regret a thing. The room is clean, the bathroom also and you have everything you need. The balcony is the plus of the room. I definitely recommend this place.
We stayed 3 nights early September 2019, and we have been absolutely amazed by this place. They offer suites and 4 very nice villas. It's very stylish inside but also outside, a modern contemporary greek design, very well maintained. We took one of the villas, there is absolutely everything you need in this sort of place. The staff is very friendly and the service is efficient, nice but not pompous. The breakfast is one of the best we have seen in Greece: a high quality buffet, in a very nice restaurant. A very good place to start your day. There is a beautiful swimming pool and a bar where you can order drinks, good dishes and snacks. We would absolutely recommend this place if you stay in Naoussa. The hotel is 2-3 kms away from the city centre, in the hills facing the sea, you need a car if you want to go to the city in the evening, the hotel offers good cars at competitive rates. The transfers from and to the port are complimentary, in a cool minibus. We'll come back in this place for sure, as we keep very good memories of our stay there!!! Thanks again for your kindness and efficiency.
Having stayed here last year we returned for another 5 nights. This is a small family run establishment, with a homely feel, and is very well run. Our room was spotlessly clean, and had even been updated since we stayed last year, with a new bathroom and bed. So it is well-maintained. Angie is a great host and we enjoyed our conversations with her. The garden alongside is beautiful, and it is a very tranquil location. The fact it is no distance from the old town makes it the best place to stay in Paroikia as far as we are concerned. (From the port it takes just over ten minutes to walk.) We would not hesitate to recommend staying here. Excellent value too.
Just a pleasant legstretch along the promenade - allow 10 mins walking time for the ferry - a friendly taverna on the corner (Christos there is a good lad) then a block-and-a-half to Dilion. Eleanor & Yorgos are kind hosts. Good clean spacious ensuite with fridge, decent WiFi. Probably too comfortable - not their fault - as I got in supplies for the night and only munched/drunk half of them as I snored off to a favourite film (Chinatown is worth watching all the way through!) Woke up at an appropriate hour for my 8.45am ferry, but not the wee soiree intended. However, this is predictable, having kipped near a beach with a few ants in my pants the previous night at Alikes, after hiking the marvellous Byzantine pathway from lovely Lefkes and hitch-hiking round the south of thoroughly enjoyable Paros. So thank you, Dilion people, for making me sleep too soundly. Ach, all good.
We were fortunate to find this gem in Parikia! It is our first time in Paros and our room (and its host) added to our delightful experience here. Our room on the top floor had everything you could ask for - free WiFi, a hair dryer, a small fridge, a washer & dryer and a large armoire with space to hang clothes with 3 drawers below. The room has a wonderful panoramic view, so that you can see both the city, the surrounding mountains and off into the distance, the water. The first night we stayed here, we saw the most incredible, beautiful sunset, while standing on our rooftop terrace. It is a wonderful location, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that is just a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes, bars, etc. George is a very sweet, personable and gracious host who will do anything to accommodate your needs/wants. He helped us get a rental car from a dependable agency and gave us rides to and from the port (free of charge). We were so happy and relaxed here! If we ever came back to Paros, we would definitely stay here again. Ginni B (Anchorage, Alaska - USA)
We stayed 5 nights at the Junior Suite with partial sea view and it was wunderful. We had more than a "partial" sea view, the room was big, modern, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed. The hotel is tastefully designed and the service is just fantastic. I have never seen a team that is as nice as the Minois´ Team. The cleaning service managed to get everything done in our room without us even noticing (always during our breakfast), which was very nice. They were always very keen to keep our room perfect. Every evening, after our daily excursions, we always found everything dry and organized in the bathroom, so we assume that they come more than just once to clean the rooms. The hotel is a quiet space where you can relax or have a nice talk with the team members, who are always nice and caring. It has nice views and a nice beach (5 minutes walking distance) with a few alternatives to have a drink and lunch. The hotel offers a shuttle service twice a day, in charge of a very nice guy who recommended us several nice places to visit (I forgot his name, but he´s worth to mention!). The breakfast is awesome with a great variety of regional stuff. Olives, cheese, fruits, cereals, fresh juices, tarts and pies, marmelades, egg. The restaurant is also very nice and the food very tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would love to come back. Once again, a shout out to the whole team that made our stay even better than imagined. Maria, Giota, Armando, the van driver, the taxi driver, everyone in the reception, the barkeeper, BouBou, everyone (sorry if I forgot all names)!!
the good - location - in the town centre near all shops/restaurants, near the KTEL bus stop and close to the port. breakfast - it was a surprise as you had a quite a selection of foods to choose from off a menu (you could get as much as you wanted) and they made it to order and it was nice. keep this in mind if you need to leave in a hurry to catch a plane or ferry as you need to go a little earlier than you would for a buffet breakfast! the not so good - we had a triple room and the single bed was small and so uncomfortable. my daughter could barely get out of the bed in the morning, her back was so sore and locked up from the bed. lucky we only stayed here for one night before getting the ferry. bathroom not that clean either and probably needs a revamp.
Beautiful spacious and comfortable apartments fully equipped with everything one might need to enjoy a perfect holiday in Paros. I already stayed here some four years ago. Also this time, I can just highly recommend Cyclades hotel. It‘s comparatively quietly located in the 2nd row to Livadia beach but close enough and in walking distance to bars and restaurants. Rooms are spotless clean, basic but functionally and tastefully decorated. The best are the friendly owners who really take care of you. Due to Covid-19, a tasteful breakfast is prepared according to your order and needs. In total again an excellent choice - many thanks and see you next time!
Just spent an incredible 5 days at Jasmine, very easily could have stayed much longer. 5 minutes walk into either town or the beach and a supermarket just across the road for getting drinking water and snacks. Rooms are very clean and the air conditioning was a lifesaver while we were there. Staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome. Wifi is patchy in the rooms, but great when sitting down in the little courtyard area which is very pleasant. Would definitely come back next time I am in Páros.
We loveeeeed staying at this beautiful hotel. A really traditional, home feel. My husband and I stayed on Paros island for 6 days and it was an absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel and meet the beautiful family who run this place. The Mother Ana makes amazing fresh breakfast every morning and also lunch and dinner. I looked forward to waking up every morning and having freshly squeezed OJ, home made olives and preserves, cheeses, meets and more. The Olives are home grown and the best I have ever had. They went out of there way to be as helpful as possible and tell us all the fun sites to see etc and met all our needs. Even letting us choose what room to stay in as my husband and I are fussy with beds sizes haha. The hotel is so beautiful and has such beautiful decor. Very helpful, genuine, kind family. We really didn’t want to leave. We miss the breakfast Ana hahahaa. We even got a good bye gift from the homeless children of Athens Ana cooks dinner for each week. Beautiful family inside and out. We will for sure be back.
Hotel situated out of Parikia town centre but it's a very slight downhill walk on a path out of the back of the hotel to the beach (8 minutes) and town (20 minutes). Plenty off car park space for hire cars. Hotel is situated on the road to Naousa and very close to the road to Lefkes. Hotel is what you might expect from a 3*. Clean and tidy, very friendly and helpful staff, a decent breakfast. It's not a big place. We went late August which is after the main holiday season had ended so was reasonably quiet especially around the fresh water pool which we shared with very few people. Most people of all ages stay here a few days whilst island hopping. Big variety of nationalities. We stayed 2 weeks which allowed us to explore the island and all of the lovely restaurants. Due to the small number of people around the pool, the pool bar rafrely opened before noon and was often not manned. The guy running it serves drinks, makes lunches, carries suitcases. A jack of all trades, hence his absence at times. All even number rooms are not sea or pool views, they are all east facing so can get the sun first thing. Ground floor rooms look over the car park and neighbours property. Upper floors will get some countryside. Odd number rooms all face the pool. Ground floor rooms all have access directly to the pool. All these rooms get the sun directly in them from noon til late. If you're like me, that will make the terrace/balcony too hot to sit in at times. The rooms themselves are fine, nowhere for ladies to hang their long dresses though. They have a fridge, shower with curtain which wil stick to you, twin beds! Towels are rough. Pool towels are available once the pool bar opens! I would go back. Oh if you ever book any coach trips, you won't get picked up from the road by the hotel entrance but a bit further along where steps lead from the hotel lounge.
Let me start with the positives. My room was very nice, clean & well maintained by the housekeeping staff, so congratulations. The grounds & pool area clean, tidy & well kept. All staff were polite & tried their best to accommodate us. Easy walk to the beach, with lovely taverna, serving authentic Greek food & a beautiful view. Breakfast was included & plentiful; buffet & a la carte. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives, especially for a hotel charging so much. 1.No complimentary water. Not even water dispensers in the bar/pool area. You need to pay 5 euros/bottle. 2.No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Again, 5 euros/cup outside the breakfast hours (which doesn’t start until 8am). Too bad if you're an early riser. Management COULD have a station in foyer for. 4.No full-length mirror in the rooms. 3.It's hard to get to Parikia without car/taxi. Buses are infrequent & the walk to bus station is dangerous, along gravel road. Management could provide complimentary shuttles at certain hours. 4.Restaurant food & bar drinks are outrageously expensive. 5.Wi-Fi is slow & often dropped out. 6. No iron in the room, apparently due to some wiring issue. However, ironing service is available BUT so expensive. Management could have a communal ironing room for their guests. While it was a pleasant stay (due to the group I was with), I would not recommend Yria Hotel. Management need to address the requirements of their guests and bring the hotel up to the calibre expected.
We are a Greek American family that has been to Greece many times but never to Paros. Other members of my family had 3 other villas each with 5-6 people. We were so happy we stayed at 24 Estate Villas - it's a breathtaking setting high on the hill over Kolymbythra and the villas themselves were tastefully and impeccably designed with plenty of rooms, a kitchen, verandas and each villa with a private pool. If you are looking for a quiet, luxurious but not fussy, beautiful spot to relax with friends and family you will not be disappointed. There is a small reception building staffed with helpful people (Elias, Spiro, Vangelis, Ionna) to guide you with reservations, beach tips, etc. Each morning you will be brought a basket with fresh eggs, bread, cheeses, fruite - simple good things for you to eat. Beyond that, there is no restaurant so you will have to supply your kitchen or better yet go down the hill (by car) to the taverna near the beach - which has excellent food and wonderful staff. We thought the location was perfect. At night you can venture to the twinkly lights of the nearby town of Naoussa for dinner or shopping or whatever - it is a bustling town with everything you could want in the windy labyrinth streets and the beautiful shops that are typical of the Greek islands. I am definitely going to recommend 24 Estate Villas to friends as a destination not to be missed in Greece.
This is a perfect hotel at the most ideal location if you arrive Paros by ferry. Hotel is just across the street of the ferry terminal. Very convenient when you arrive, just reach the hotel by foot within 2 minutes. Save on transport. Just arrange the rental car to be sent to hotel at the time when you are ready to venture the island - saving time and money. The reception staff was also very easy going, making checking in very swift. I highly recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. It is perfect for family, as it has 2 bedroom configuration. Hotel is clean and new. The only point to note is that hotel does not provide kettle for boiling water. Is this a norm in Europe? Not a big problem because supermarket is just nearby. I'll definitely stay here again if I goo back to Paros.
This is a bed and breakfast - without breakfast. Restaurants are 2 min away, around the corner. The room has a small seating area outdoors for breakfast, drinks, smacks...The room and bathroom are small - tiny even. The inner court yard is nice. All facilities are impeccably clean, and cleaning is provided every day. This is really simple housing, at a very affordable price, and as long as one does not expect anything more, this is a great stay.
After a bit of a hotel mix up (our fault) we sat at Paros port looking for a decent, local hotel. After 10 minutes on line, we booked this place. It was a taxi trip from the port (€25?) but worth it at the other end! Our room was large and clean, with lovely sea views. And the pool! Large, deep and great for actually swimming! We enjoyed the happy hour cocktail prices and the comfortable lounges. We did have a minor drama one day, when an electrical storm took out power for a few hours in the early morning, but staff soldiered on admirably. The breakfasts were excellent, with a huge range to choose from - with decent coffee too! The hotel was a 25 minute walk to the nearby town of Naousa, which was a Greek village from central casting. We loved walking into the town to eat and shop and walk home at night so we could digest our meal. Finally, staff were exceptionally friendly, with a special mention to Viktor who took good care of us.
Wonderful small but very friendly hotel in an ideal location near the beach an assortment of restaurants and only just 10 minutes walk from the port. The owners are very helpful and welcoming, especially Manos the son, who was a wealth of unbiased local infotmation, who suggested different day out itineraries and even arranged car hire for me on arrival. I stayed in a mini studio with balcony and air conditioning, very comfortable and the housekeeping staff are excellent and kept the place spotlessly clean. Well worth a visit
If you are visiting the lovely Island of Paros, look no further. Villa Katerina is excellent in every way. It is situated 5 min walk from the seaside, which is ideal as it is a quite place to relax but also close enough to walk to the town center. We booked 2 rooms and both were kept clean throughout our stay. Every day we walked back into our rooms we found them exactly as they were on the first day. The management and staff are very friendly and went the extra mile with helping us rent a 6 seater rental van in peak season without prior booking and also suggesting places to visit. For those renting a car in Paros parking can be a nightmare. Luckily 2 paces away from Villa Kareina has there is a huge free parking area, so we found no problems parking a large van. The pool area is fantastic during the day but especially charming during the night. I highly recommend Villa Katerina, they have exceeded our expectations. Thanks to all Management and staff, you are true ambassadors for your charming Island.
We stayed at Pension Sofia in September 2018. If your visit is anything like ours, a warm welcome awaits you. We arrived early from Athens before our room was ready. We were welcomed with some freshly squeezed orange juice and some home-made cake whilst we sat in the garden. The garden is beautiful, with lots of flowers, lush foliage and water features. In the garden, there are various shaded nooks and crannies with seating to relax in. Our room (Room 4) was clean and very well equipped with TV, air conditioning, hair drier, full size fridge, kettle (great to make a ‘proper’ cup of British-style tea - with your own tea bags), cups, glasses, cutlery, room safe, private balcony. Wi-Fi was available but we found it a bit patchy at times. The room was simple but nicely decorated. The bed was well presented with some towel ‘swans’. We found it a little firm for our tastes - but it was clean and reasonably comfortable. A breakfast buffet is available from 08:30 to 10:30 for 8 Euros per head, with fresh, homemade items. If you can’t find what you are looking for, Sofia can provide more. The pension is set back a hundred or so metres from the sea front and a short walk from the centre of the old town and the port (about 600m). There is a vast range of restaurants and bars nearby along the seafront and in town. You can also find numerous places to rent a car or motorcycle if you wish - or there is a bus service running from the centre of town that covers most of the island’s key locations. Sofia, her husband and daughter work hard to make your stay a pleasant one. We thoroughly recommend Pension Sofia if you want a pleasant stay on Páros.
We were on an island-hopping trip through the Cyclades, and after having had a pretty sh*tty (sorry for the language there) hotel on Santorini, we read reviews on Google, just to be prepared. The reviews (1 to 3 years old) left us disappointed, but we still went there trying to be as unbiased as possible. And we got surprised: the hotel was actually totally lovely. Friendly staff, good breakfast, lovely -and apparently renovated- rooms with a new bathroom and a balcony overlooking the sea. Best place for sunset (even better than Santorini)! We spent every evening of our Paros days on our balcony, having a glass of wine and watching the sun set.
The hotel was very smelly. I was not enjoyed at all with my wife in our hotel Room. Normally we booked a room without smoking permission, but unfortunately there was still a cigarette smell from the previous tenants. We have been given a bed that was divided into two with two different covers, I find this rude from the owner for a couple. I myself asked for a homogeneous cover to cover the bed and get the feeling that we are on a single double bed, but unfortunately the owner has not found a solution to my question and said tomorrow see what I can do because currently I have no free rooms !!!! I also asked for the reception several times (the owner does everything: reception, cleaning, relocation between the port and hotel ....) I have never seen this even in poor countries, but yes, it is Visilik hotel. The next day I expect her to change the room to make sure there was smoke from the cigarettes, after our trip to Paros, we noticed that she has not changed anything. The bed was also covered in the same way (so two different beds with two different covers, embarrassed for the hotel) I searched for her to give a big cover, she doesn't like that. The toilet was very smelly, badly structured and you get a bad feeling when you shower, because the cover in the shower was very dirty. The entrance also has no camera surveillance and I find this very bad for the people staying there. . The serviettes were very hearty and not soft to use, I would better use this for the Vloet instead of using it in the rooms after showering. Kettle was not clean (I hereby give you a type - just use ammonia or vinegar to clean it and it will not cost you anything) I do not understand how the people below give good scores to this hotel, really embarrassment. She deserves a zero from me for her hygiene, but she does get a 10/10 on her political reception at the gate. YAAOOOOT. I will never recommend this hotel. I would better stay in a good and clean hotel with a bad reception than the other way around.
Expected at the airport by the resort's driver (to be reserved in advance). Greeted at the reception by Despina, the manager, and Clea, the super receptionist. The rooms have fabulous sea views, and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. That is when we realized we forgot a cabin luggage in Athens. Clea was fantastic, spending a lot of time and energy on the phone until she traced the luggage, and had it forwarded to Paros. We then met with friends at the pool's bar (congratulation to Jo, the only barista in Greece who knows how to make a mojito the way I like it) Dinner at the resort's restaurant, top quality food, and top notch service. Breafast is more than complete, with special mention for the scrambled eggs made from real eggs (no dry preparation like in many hotels nowadays). The only problem with this resort is having to leave. I will miss it (and Geogia, Clea, Jo, Vera, Despina, all drop dead gorgeous ladies) The male employees were also very professionnal and helpfull, but I remember women's name better.
I really wanted to like this hotel and on paper it ticked all my boxes! But reality did not meet expectation. The hotel itself is not in a good location for a solo traveller, particularly if you don’t drive. Buses are infrequent and timetables seem to change weekly, a taxi is €8-€10 to Parikia/Port. I was left standing at a bus stop after following Reception’s advice and had to walk back to the hotel and get a taxi. There was no dinner service when I was staying there so you had to go into town every night or order bar snacks. Rooms are lacking some maintenance and cleanliness. My room was not ready at 4pm, check in was 3pm. I had to switch rooms because of a window that wouldn’t close and my second room had a shower that leaked everywhere. Parts of the whitewash were badly stained and the rooms looked tired. I found hair, dust, spiders (x3) in the room and sand, cigarette buts and seeds on the balcony. Really below standard. The staff were rushed. Not unfriendly but any question got a one word answer and I got little information about the hotel or the island so gave up trying and dealt with a travel agency in town for my excursions and didnt raise any other complaints as I felt nothing would happen! Customer Service was really below expectations. WiFi is very bad. Often wouldn’t connect in room and definitely no chance of streaming Netflix. Reception/Pool are slightly better but poor in general. Also there was very little “resort”, no spa, no jacuzzi in service, no dinner service at night, no entertainment. For a resort I would have thought you needed some of these and even if not available due to Covid-19 this was not explained. The saving grace is the pool, beautiful views, great cocktails and the staff were very sweet. They do a great lunch. There are also two lovely beaches in walking distance. Overall great potential but I won’t be back based on this experience, it was very poor value for money and just not a nice experience! I stayed in a small family run hotel on my next island and the WiFi, cleanliness and care from the owner was just amazing, and for half the price!
The good , the odd, and the not so good In my opinion. Let’s start with the good. Pick up from the ferry terminal was easy and quick. Being less than five minute driving distance. The hotel is situated on the hillside and is overlooking the waterfront and old town. Including the ferry port. The sunset views are stunning to say the least. It’s a short walk to the closest beach. All downhill. So coming back is obviously uphill. Not terrible. But on a hot day you’ll be sweating when you get back to your room. You can rent cars, scooters or quad bikes in town. All less than 10-15 minutes walking distance. The pool area is beautiful and everything is cleaned all the time. We didn’t use the hotel bar. But other guests seemed to enjoy it. We stayed in room 210. Top floor. Best views in my opinion. See sunset picture and view from our room. Breakfast was included. But same food every morning. It’s good but not great. And bees definitely want some of your food while you’re eating anywhere in the hotel area. I assume they have bee hives nearby. But I’m only guessing. Honey seems very much a big part of the Greek yogurt combo. Now the Odd thing. We arrived. Had been given a tour of our room and told there’s a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge. Nice, we thought so. We didn’t use it the first day. And for some strange reason the cleaning staff removed the water bottle from out fridge the day after. So after talking to the front desk about it. They said first bottle is complimentary. And afterwards you can purchase more from the Bar! No apologies given. But they did replace the water with a smaller bottle. Still odd as to why they took the bottle out of our fridge to begin with. The not so good is. Water pressure is always very low. And sometimes we had no water at all in the sink to wash hands or brushing teeth. Can’t charge anything while you’re out of the room. Once you remove the key all plugs go dead and A/C goes off. I guess it’s for power saving purposes. But a bit inconvenient if you leave electronics to charge for the day while you’re out having fun. Again. Bees wherever you’re eating something. Including your balcony. So can’t leave your doors or windows open very long. Or you’ll be dealing with them before bedtime. Mosquitoes included. 🤪 Out toilet flushing mechanism was sticking a bit every other flush. So water just kept on running until we pressed the button a couple times. Not fun at night. And should be fixed before it wastes more water then necessary. We will mention it on check out tomorrow. Overall good. But not great.
My boyfriend and I went and stayed here for a week in the middle of October, and we loved it! The hotel is in a great location just outside Parikia with an easy 7 mins walk into the centre of town, and with a small beach just in front of the hotel down some Steps. The rooms are quite simple but have everything you need and are decorated in a typical Greek way with white walls and blue details which I love, and the bed was very comfortable and everything very clean. Everyday the housekeeping came and put fresh towels and spruced up the room etc. The main areas of the hotel are really beautiful over looking the sea and surrounded by plants and Little places to sit. But for us the thing that really made it such a wonderful stay was the hospitality and friendliness of all the staff and the owner! They where incredibly helpful and sweet and always with a smile! We where also very lucky as they upgraded our room to one with a sea view due to having availability at that time of year, we had initially booked the basement that was also perfectly nice and a bargain! ... it also had a small outside area, so although there is no view from the basement rooms you don’t have the feeling of being trapped. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cheap yet charming place to stay! And would definitely go back there again myself! Thank you Yannis, Lisa and Stratos for a wonderful stay!
Visited Paros looking for some time to relax and disconnect from everyday stress and found just that at Acqua Vatos Paros. Arrived early morning and was immediately given a beautiful room with balcony and furniture. Rooms are simply decorated but with modern style and amenities (kettle/tea&coffee/fridge/safe/bathrobes/beach bag &towels/ satellite TV/aircon) and the bathroom is fitted with a rain-shower and toiletries also provided. Beds are huge and very comfortable. Breakfast is simple but more than sufficient, including breads and pastries, eggs, Greek yoghurt, fruits, cold cuts, juices and coffee/tea which can be enjoyed on their lovely varanda, watching the locals go about their morning business. Location is perfect. Set in a quiet area of Parikia allowing for relaxation, yet only minutes away from the seafront and 10 mins walk to the centre or Port. Free public parking is always available in a large parking lot directly opposite the property. All in all, fantastic value for money. I was expecting a lot less for what I had paid (36€/night) and the staff are absolutely great. Warm and welcoming and always offering advise on places to visit and assistance to book tours/car rentals, etc. Definitely recommend this hotel in Paros. I spent 2 wonderful days on the island and coming back to the hotel each evening was like coming home. Fantastic!
