The B&B Modena was ideal for our one night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and throughout the hotel everything was spotlessly clean. The town centre was within easy walking distance, so it was great to be able to leave our car in the free onsite parking .

The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially the young receptionist. The property seemed to have been refurbished recently and was bright and clean. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Plenty of choice of good food for breakfast. Excellent location between train station and historical centre. We had difficulty finding channels on the TV but a member of staff came to help straight away and resolved the problem. If visiting Modena again, I would choose Hotel Principe without hesitation.

This hotel has a number of positive points, but to call it a four star hotel is a real stretch. On this trip, we have been on the road in France and Italy for 6 weeks and have stayed mostly at four and five star hotels. We travel roughly three months a year now, and I traveled for business for well over four decades. I believe I have a good sense of a hotel's value. On the plus side, they have a good and quiet location, a pleasant staff, a garage and attractive ground floor public rooms and at least a couple of English language news channels, critical in this troubled world. While our room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was well designed, the room itself was very small. Despite the ”pillow menu” all the pillows in our room were as soft as radial tires The breakfast was really substandard, with industrial grade orange juice, nespresso coffee, which is an insult in a country with so many brands of superior quality, breads, pastries, yogurt and preserves suitable for a two or three star establishment. We won't even dwell on the steam tray. I find the form note, ”Dear Guest...my staff and I are glad to give you our warmest welcome...”The Management” amusing. Who is ”My”? Does he or she have a name? Apparently they don't care enough to put a name and number on the slip. And I notice that responses to reviews appear to come from someone in the PR Department! I realize the hotel was retrofitted to earn its upgrade from three star. It is more like three and a half, but with four star tariffs. An effort has been made to put everything one needs in the room, but it is a very beige and bland environment indeed.

I've been around Modena last 5 weeks for business, and I stayed in 3 different hotels. Some of them had a modern forniture and a nice restaurant, but they were too far away from services such as restaurants, groceries, parks. Others were close to parks, restaurants and so on but they had an old and creepy build.. At RMH Hotel I found a place which has both modern forniture and sevrices around it! Large and comfortable rooms, where I've been able to workout. Very good restaurant. Two special thanks: - To the waiter Pasquale, for his honesty and fairness - To the receptionist Francesca, she really know how to welcome people!

This hotel has recently rebranded to CDH Hotel Modena. I recieved beyond amazing service here. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious with in-suite bathrooms. The breakfast spread is of high quality. On site support is amazing. It is nicely located with a grocery store and a pharmacy around the corner. Very nice restaurants witin walking distance. It is quiet and peaceful. Ideal for business trips. I suggest staying in the top floor, as sound does travel through the roof in lower floors. Wheelchair accessable. Safe parkcade. Offers laundry services. Good Wi-Fi. Nice outside relaxation area.

Parking was convenient with this hotel; while address is Viale Berengario 11, enter lot in courtyard behind hotel off of via Bono da Nonantola. If their private lot is full, they'll provide a pass to park in any blue (paid parking spot) spot on streets around hotel. (There were generally always spots on Nonantola except when outdoor market was going on in park behind hotel (Friday & Saturday mornings?). Within easy walking distance of the historic city center (Centro Storico) with many sites, churches, cafes, restaurants & gelaterias. Our room was large, had a nice size bathroom and air conditioning. They had a wide variety of food for breakfast. We used this spot for day-tripping throughout the area with our car. If coming back, we would stay here again, thanks for a nice visit!

This hotel is out of town, very close the the Modena Nord exit from the A1 motorway, which makes it very convenient for travellers moving by car. The hotel offers free parking. The flip side is that this hotel is not withing walking distance from the beautiful Modena city centre nor the train station. All rooms offer queen/king size, comfortable beds. The room I was given is very spacious, and is supposedly a standard room. TV channels are all but in Italian, but the SMART TV also connects to Netflix, Youtube Rakuten and more apps. Breakfast is Italian style in its fullest version extended to include hard boiled eggs, cured meats and a selection of cheese. Service is overall friendly and personal. as you would expect in smaller structures like this one. Overall a good option for the business traveller.

The room is decent for the money. The room is a bit on the dark side, and strangely they have lights under the desk and seats but not over them. It could use some better lighting. The bathroom is quite nice, no complaints, and the rooms are clean. The bed we had was too firm, but could be okay for some. The breakfast is great. It’s a standard Italian buffet, so there’s charcuterie, fruit, pastries, juice, coffee, milk, and there is cereal, breads, and eggs available. There is also a fitness/spa area that has a sauna, hot tub, and work out equipment. I would definitely stay here again, although again, the beds are a little hard. It’s easy to find, reasonably priced, and food is decent.
