All walks from here were wonderful whether the catacombs with the entrance to the market or the cathedral, as well as the museums. The staff is very polite and breakfast a dream. Our suite was very large and maintained. This hotel can only be recommended.

|0.22km from city centerThis hostel was a nightmare and believe me - I'm no princess and my expectations were low. Room was dirty with carpets that haven't seen vacuum cleaner for a long while. There was a fridge, but man, it was so disgusting. Showers were leaking, there was no place to put your stuff when you wash yourself, water in the sink was cold and there were no paper towels. Kitchen is equipped poorly. Wi-Fi didn't work. The worst part is that I haven't ever met so inconsiderate guests. There is something shady about this place. Drunk kids screaming in the middle of the night, people constantly slamming the door or a guy that was talking to someone on loudspeaker for 2 hours at midnight in the kitchen (?!) made sleeping impossible and a stay there unbearable. It's not hostel's fault, but it adds up to that poor experience and I think the lack of 24/7 reception doesn't help either. Everyone do what they want and don't care about anything. Also, so many people write that elevator was not working during their stay. It makes me think if it ever works? Anyway, it was out of order now as well. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. And the price is not that great either, I've seen many cheaper and better places.

The rooms were as beautiful as advertised and the beds were quite comfortable for sleeping. The breakfast was solid ... not bad but nothing to excite one (but no complaints). Most of the staff spoke some English so interacting with them wasn't an issue if you spoke no Czech. My ONLY complaint about them was that on several occasions, I wrote to them for assistance on various topics and response was quite slow or even non-existent. Bear in mind that this a traditional Old World hotel (as in you leave your key at the front desk on your way out and picked it up on your return) but usually these are the ones with top notch service to help them stand out. But would I return to stay there if I were in Brno? Probably so.

It seemed to be used by people who visited the area for business reasons rather than tourists. The only visitors there were those who seemed to be tourists, so I felt relatively cold and unkind of the staff. The staff who checked in at that time put their passports down and chatted with other colleagues throughout the check-in. Aside from being unkind, it was a comfortable place to stay.

|0.76km from city centerI was a little sceptical with the lack of reviews but there is no need. The staff were very friendly. My dorm was clean and had lots of space, it even had a sofa. The common area is almost non existent, consisting of two tables so it is difficult to meet anyone outside your room if you are into that. It was very quiet which was nice for me so it if really personal preference how busy you want your hostel to be. The beds were comfortable with the privacy of a curtain which was nice except my bunk was a little squeaky. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was good. The safe was large but not enough to fit an entire rucksack. It was nice that the safes provided a rain and hangers to hang clothes up. It is very central, about a three minute walk from the train station and I’ve minute walk to the Main Street. Overall I would definitely recommend.

|2.27km from city centerWe had booked a room for three adult people. When we got there, there was only one prepared bed with only one duvet! We talked to a woman in the reception, and it is by far the worst hotel service we have ever experienced! At this point it was almost midnight and the response we got was that she did not know where the bedding and sheets were kept. She had us follow her and after a while she found only one duvet and one sheet for this duvet. She handed it to us like so, not prepared, and when asked she said to us: “Does it look like I do that type of work here?”. After this we went back to the reception as this was completely unacceptable treatment from a receptionist at a well known hotel chain. She was not solution oriented AT ALL. She told us there were not any other available rooms. She never apologized. She would not give her full name , and said that she was quitting her job here. She told us she hade never been in this type of situation before. She told us she had no one to ask for help and that the people who work here during the day, and who would know where the bedding we needed were, were not here at this time of the day. She told us she was not hiding the bedding from us, that she sincerely did not know where it was. We did not get the room prepared as we had booked it. She even asked us what WE (!!) thought she should do. She said that the only option she saw was to give us back our money and that we could leave the hotel, at 00:30 at night (!!!!). Outrageous!!! We were all so dumbfounded and shocked by this completely unacceptable way of treating your clients that we absolutely considered to pack up and leave. After some time of talking and being dumbfounded by this TERRIBLE service she suddenly said the she could separate us and give us one more room. We accepted this and that was it. We are going to take action after this and call the director of the hotel and tell him about this experience. This is the absolute worst service experience we have ever experienced. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! And SHOCKING as this is a known hotel chain with great reviews! I am still lost for words, as I also was after talking to that terrible employee with no service skills to say the least.

Interiors are reconstructed and we liked the room very much. It was so modern, the walls very special (check photos), design facilities, wireless charger built in the table,.. We had a dinner in hotel restaurant 2 times and we loved it. They offer very good dezerts. Staff in restaurant was a little bit young and unexperienced but nothing to complain. Breakfast was fantastic. I think that was very good service for reasonable price.

We had air condition in the room but it didn't work and nobody told us on the reception automatically during checkin that air condition is for additional cost. So we had it but we thought that is broken and for one night we was lazy at night to go report it. But anyway room with aircondition turned off/deactivated. Room is expensive and people need to pay more for activation something what is in room, a little funny like bad joke. For me room prize and quality 3,5 and breakfast 5. It is close to tram stop(salina) so direct way to city center is good. Big plus is free parking in front of hotel.

Zu Fuß sind es 3 Minuten bis zur Straßenbahn und 30 Minuten bis zur Innenstadt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Am ersten Morgen gab es zusätzlich zum Buffet für jeden einen Palas*****en und am 2.Tag ein süßes Teilchen. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und spricht ein wenig deutsch. 2 negative Punkte waren für uns, dass es sehr hellhörig war (Zimmer oben darüber und Flur) und das man das Zimmer nicht richtig verdunkeln konnte. Das Zimmer ist groß und modern eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen kleinen Balkon. Hinter dem Haus sind kostenfreie Parkplätze, mit einem Tor gesichert.
