The Astura is a nice hotel overlooking the marina with a side view to the beach. Lots of good restaurants are nearby. The staff is great and helpful. The rooms are as shown in the pictures and very clean. . Breakfast is fine and in a sunny room overlooking the sea. The only con is parking. The websites all say there is free parking BUT this means that there are 5 spaces for the whole 6 story hotel on the public street and anyone can park there. I never got one of these spaces and spent 40 minutes on a Friday night searching for parking. If you have a car, you may wish to stay else where. If you aren't driving, I highly recommend the Astura. NOTE: if you do drive, the hotel is on a one way street. Other than the 5 spaces, all the public streets are pay parking at 1 euro an hour from 9am to 1pm and 4pm to midnight. There is a free lot though. If you drive past the hotel, take the first right and the immediate next right and then right away turn into a small one aisle parking lot. If you are lucky enough to find a space here, its free parking all day.

I always like to present a thorough review when I am reviewing lodging. If you are staying in Nettuno, I highly recommend this small hotel. First off, the rooms are spotless. They are squeaky clean & housekeeping comes every day to ensure a clean stay. The location of this small hotel is a hop and skip from the beach & there are a multitude of restaurants to choose from in this area. Most of the staff here do not speak English which is expected considering the fact that it is in Italy. Nevertheless, courtesy transcends language barriers. The gentleman who welcomed me to this hotel was very kind although the younger gentleman was not as friendly, this is to be expected from a young man. The housekeeping ladies were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Although they did not speak English, they were very warm and kind to me. I didn't get a chance to try breakfast as there is a 7 hour time difference that I could not adjust to. Overall, I probably would not stay in Nettuno again do to the racial tension and the locals inability to see past skin color but the owners of this hotel are clearly striving for excellence with their business and treat all guest fairly which I certainly appreciate. I recommend this hotel to all people who choose to visit Nettuno. The town is beautiful and would be a pleasure to those who are welcomed.

We needed somewhere to stay while on our way down to Amalfi. This place is so lovely. Clean, nice rooms, great views, good breakfast. We were on our 40th wedding anniversary holiday and let the hotel know that and a very cute handmade anniversary sign was waiting for us on our door. Such a nice thought. The young girl who checked us in was so lovely and friendly and she made the most wonderful cappuccino that complimented the great breakfast. We have no problems recommending this hotel to anyone.

Hotel: The hotel has definitely seen it’s glory days, and might need a little bit of upgrade but that was nothing that we felt bad about. Spacious rooms with ocean view from the balcony(though we did stay in the main building and not in the fancy close-to-beach/pool rooms). The pool is located by the seafront and you need to walk there through a tunnel underneath the road from main building - that wasn’t a problem. To go down to the (very) small bar, and further down to the (very)/ small beach there were even more stairs and cliffs. Nothing for the weak ;) Clean and ok. Mini bar was close to empty on arrival (2 bottles of water)which was a disappointment and the bar was so and so. Very friendly and helpful staff, both by the pool bar, breakfast serving and reception. Ok breakfast, but not that much vegetables and mostly stuff for the sweet tooth’s. We didn’t eat at the restaurant. Location: a 20 minute walk to the center core, a 10 minute walk to the closest beach (with one very poor kiosk/restaurant); this hotel is located in a neighborhood with a lot of houses and industrial/military buildings. If you want to have beach for real you need to walk further closer to the port. Close to a grocery shop but you are NoT allowed to eat/drink what you bought in your room. Not that much restaurants around at all, those are closer to the center (and the beaches by the port). A 30 minute walk from the train station. Summary: if you feel like walking a bit and you are an explorer, splendid, if you feel like staying at one place and live full hotel experience - I don’t know, maybe? The hotel has it all, but it is huge and a lots of stairs to climb/walk for sour legs/baby carriers. The pool staff were very friendly to small children and helpful in general, but the pool were also somewhat overfilled by kids splashing around. Feels like this certainly is a home for native Italians/owners of the hotel more than tourists. Still, recommended.

We were 12 people in a team that stayed 18 days due to work (🍏). Very nice place and the people where very friendly and where always willing to help us in any problem that we had. They let us use their barbaque and a room to put the food. I would recommend it to anyone who has to stay various days due to work.
