|2.55km from city centerI am staying in Al Jazeera Hotel for a long rental, as I moved to Amman for work. The price is quite good compared to all the other options in this central area. The receptionist, Salem, is a nice and funny guy who takes care of the cleanliness and any help you might need. Both location and tidiness are the main aspects for me to stay here for months ☺️

The best hotel i've ever booked for the last 4 years. Stuff is friendly and ready to help at any time. Hotel is situated at the center and close to the supermarket. Good wifi and accomodation. Great breakfast - highly recommend everyone to add this option.owner of the hotel always take breakfast with tourists. Telling the stories about the country, giving advices how to make your trip better, helping with everything. Would recommend this hotel to any type of tourists. If you are travelling alone, a couple or you need to get good room for good price - this is for sure your choice. You will feel yourself in this hotel even better than at home

|1.1km from city centerStayed with family. Booked family room, but when arrived we got 2 doubles, no stress. Rooms basic, but clean. Breakfast tasty. Location location location is the theme here. Situated in downtown Amman, you couldn't ask for a better located hostel. Lots of atmosphere and character in the area, you won't sleep well with the street noise. Take the free walking tour that starts from outside the hotel. It's close to Citadel. Staff friendly and helpful, plenty of places to eat and shop in the area. In short, it's a hostel

|1.52km from city centerThe hotel is in a perfect location, where there are a lot of restaurants and necessary shops. The neighborhood is also a great one, (mostly a residential area), and therefore, the street noise is almost nil. The apartment that we booked was quite spacious and comfortable. The apartment is also well equipped with necessary items, The reception is manned 24 hours a day, and therefore, any questions can be answered quickly. The place has a nice restaurant on its fourth floor and the chef makes delicious food indeed. We tried only breakfast, and it was tasty and sumptuous. The chef is also a very nice person and listens to your needs and makes the food accordingly. The best part about this hotel is the people. Almost everyone we encountered there was super nice. Special words of mention should go to Nabil Shams (who is either a partner or owner of the place) and Mahmoud. They answer calls from the room literally 24 hours a day and address any issues and needs. They always greet the guests every time one walks into the hotel with absolute warmth and friendliness.

|6.48km from city centerThe location is good for shopping, it's right across the road from the Galleria Mall, 2 minute walk. And there are many restaurants, local shopping, and specialty shops with a 3 or 4 block walking distance. Once I arrived in the area, I quickly realized I did need to go anywhere else by car to get some things I needed. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly, I had two or three requests after checking in and each one was taken care of within 10 minutes or less. The rooms have mini kitchens in them with limited dishes, silver ware glasses and cups. Refrigerator, microwave, cook top and hot water kettle are also in the room. Easy to re-warm or prepare limited meals if your prefer to stay in. The hotel has WiFi, ask the reception desk for the password. The room I had was one of the smaller rooms, but it was clean and comfortable. I plan to stay again.

Amman
|8.77km from city centerWe would like to specifically mention, that this hotel was booked on the grounds of location (we needed something on the outskirts of Amman, so that we could drop our car there and use taxi to travel inside the city). What was good: - convenient location if you would like to not drive inside Amman - spacious room - nice staff (though not too able to communicate in English at times - there're multiple employees and their level of English varies) - nice view from the balcony - WiFi was not too bad - all amenities were available Disliked · What didn't go well: - the apartment was clearly not having enough cutlery (i.e., there was only 1 large spoon, 1 small spoon, etc.) - no wine/beer or for that matter any regular size glasses. On request we managed to get whiskey glasses, which were able to use for juice - not all floors are served by the elevator - bathroom was separated by a glass wall, and it was a bit challenging, I would really suggest replacing it with a normal wall

|1.98km from city centerIt is with a heavy heart that I can't give a 5 star review. I did not sleep for 2 nights at all as a result of the traffic noise. I moved rooms to a higher floor but it didn't make a difference. The honking goes all night long then the call to prayer which is a beautiful sound but guests should know about this if you stay roadside. The hotel itself is spotless, fantastic breakfast and location. Lovely staff

|0.53km from city centerFirstly it is neither a hotel nor a heritage property. In fact the word heritage raised the suspicion of a dated building with musty carpets. It was not. It is a contemporary building and more correctly an apartment. The place is meticulously clean and organised. Located on the Rainbow street it is accessible by foot from the shopping area. There were two spacious rooms and a large lobby with a kitchenette. The views from the rooms are awesome with the citadel seen to the east. The front desk was very helpful.

|4.32km from city centerThe hotel is old but I believe the rooms have been renovated recently as it was all new inside. The rooms are not large and quite small but I can't complain as it was an OK size and the rooms were new. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a Carrefour supermarket 5 mins away as well as Mcdonald's.10 mins further, you will find a street full of restaurants, KFC and all the other famous hotels like Hilton and Kempinski. This hotel's location isn't that convenient for restaurants. Becareful along the main road as there will be cars and taxis harassing you as well as hoons. There are very limited options at the hotel restaurant.

|8.72km from city centerThis is one of my favorite houses! The room is clean, the bed is super comfortable, and the quilt is made of very good materials. The configuration of the room is essential for a 5-star hotel. I booked it once on the first day of check-in to experience the experience, and then I booked it directly for 4 nights. The sleep is super good, and it can completely drive away the rush and fatigue during the day.
The socket is super satisfied, so there is basically no need to worry about European plugs or Chinese plugs, either. The desk lamp has an LED reading light, and there are two LED lights on the side of the bed, which is super good! The taste of the hotel owner is still very good, like this hotel, highly recommend it.

Amman
|1.24km from city centerApart from a nice-enough room (space to move around comfortably and also bigger rooms for higher prices) and a ”pretty good” breakfast, what I'll remember most about staying at this hotel is having met the ”excellent manager” of the place to whom I'll always be grateful for my 3 wonderful day tours at ”reasonable prices” in the hotel car driven by him (the first to Jerash & Royal Automobile Museum, the second to Mount Nebo & the Dead Sea, and the third to the ”3 desert castles” to the east) and who also provided additional great services (obtaining the Jett bus ticket to Petra, transport to that bus station in the early morning & finally transport to the Airport upon checkout for leaving the country). So yes, the ”best part” of staying at this hotel for anyone, I would say, will be meeting its manager (thank you so very much, Hani). And with that being said, another nice thing about this hotel I was quite pleased by is its location in the vicinity of the Old Town (just about a 5-minute walk to the right after coming down from this hotel) with plenty of miscellaneous shops including restaurants & small grocery places, and yes also located at a very short taxi ride from this hotel (just 5 minutes or so) is the city's ”number-one site” which is the Citadel (with also another great site which is the Roman Amphitheater pretty much right at the bottom of the Citadel hill).

|9.11km from city centerThis hotel is very local Jordanian style - it's a wedding venue, and used for banquets and functions. I felt a little out of place until I entered the lobby, but was warmly welcomed and made to feel very much at home. The room was nice--better than I expected for the price. It's in a residential neighborhood so you think Google Maps is sending you to the wrong place, but it's not--you turn down an alley and suddenly you're at the hotel. I wanted coffee in the morning and they opened the restaurant just for me. Really, the service is just wonderful here. Stay without hesitation.

Amman
|9.32km from city centerOur daughter was a CET student attending class at the U of Jordan for Fall 2019. This was a Fall semester abroad from her university in the states. Our desire was to be close to campus and this fit the bill. There is a pedestrian tunnel that runs under Queen Alia Street and it is 50 steps from Gerasa Hotel’s front door and pops up at the entrance gates to U of J. We had a King bed suite with a couch in a small study that folded down to a bed. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with tea, coffee, juices , cereals , falafel, omelette station to name a few. When we arrived we did not have hot water. We called to the front desk and asked them to ‘turn on the hot water’ and it was taken care of immediately. Gerasa Hotel made arrangements for a private driver to pick us up from the airport and when we got thru security there was our name on a sign that the driver held. Could not have asked for a better experience upon arriving to Amman.

|6.84km from city centerFrom the moment we arrived, my friend and I felt very welcome at the Seven Roses. The staff were so friendly and helpful, offering to help in any way they could. Parking is conveniently located across the street which was helpful as the hotel is outside of Amman Centre although that was not a problem for us. The breakfast was quite varied and anything that wasn’t available on the buffet, the staff did their best to provide. Great value too!

|3.19km from city centerI stayed at the W in amman for 3 weeks during May. The first time I stayed in April, I ran into a few issues that immediately got fixed next time I visited: 1- I got upgraded to a suite which was so comfortable given that my stay was a long one. Thank you Omar Yousef, you’re the best. 2- Hotel staff started calling me by my first name showing great care and specialty treatment 3- Mesh (breakfast area) staff were awesome. In specific my favorite server Abdallah who as soon as I step into Mesh, knows what coffee I want, where I would sit and what I would like to have ready on my table. It’s nice to have someone predict your needs without you saying a word. I was also impressed by Alexa’s arabic language skills and welcoming attitude. 4- Staff are courteous and try to interact with you, asking about your day, how you are liking your stay, etc. Hayek and Ahmad Dandis, I am grateful for your care :) 5- Spa services were great. It was my birthday and i decided to gift myself a massage at the spa. Sham, the spa coordinator prepared a nice bd card for me and a nice treat! It was lovely :) 6- Hotel Location is central and there are a lot of amenities around. 7- Unexpected gesture during my last day with a lovely card from the team. It made my day :) Excellent experience, will come back soon <3

|7.53km from city centerThe location of the hotel is good, although it is under construction on the side of the main street, it can be reached within a 5-minute walk. Old-fashioned hotel, although the hardware is a bit old, but it can still meet the normal clean and tidy needs.
Room service was quick to respond and the breakfast was very good with a lot of variety.
Hotel personnel and vehicles have to go through security checks when entering, so it is very safe.
There are also many supermarkets and restaurants around.
Overall it is worth recommending.

|1.61km from city centerPre-arrival communication was excellent and they arranged a taxi to pick us up at around 01:45am. The welcome when we arrived around 02:30 was great also. The place is very clean. I also really liked the location, it’s in a very quiet neighbourhood you can happily walk around.. quiet that is until you get to the hotel, which is by far the noisiest place in the whole area. We booked this around 6 months ago when there was no mention of noise on the reviews, if there had been then we wouldn’t have booked it. Unfortunately our room on the first floor was directly above the venue. The first night we arrived so late it was ok, though even at 3am there was a fair bit of noise from people moving stuff around downstairs. Night 2 was ok, there was nothing happening. The problem was night 3. We had an early start and tried to go to bed at 10, but they had an event on. The music was so loud it was getting through earplugs, I called downstairs and asked when it was stopping and got told 12 and was told to put ear plugs in. I said I had. She said she’d speak to them to see if they would turn it down… 10mins later they turned it up.. it was so loud you could feel the vibrations coming through the bed. It did however get turned off at 12. The next morning we checked out and I mentioned it, the guy on reception said they’d stopped at 11, I just looked at him and he straightaway changed his mind to midnight and apologised, though he seemed to think it was funny and was laughing. Generally reception staff are a mixed bag - some are lovely and really helpful, some just completely ignore you and don’t even say hello when you great them as you go past. Breakfast was disappointing. It is advertised 7am to 10am, in reality it’s 7:30-9. If you arrive before 7:30 then nothing is out, at 9am you will find little food left and hardly anywhere to sit as the tables are full of other people’s plates and leftovers which aren’t cleared. Some of the reviews talk about having freshly made omelettes or pancakes - this is not a thing. at no point in 3 breakfasts did anyone offer us anything other than what was on the buffet (2 out of 3 breakfasts there wasn’t even any staff there). Overall, I completely understand that some people will love a lively location and not have breakfast - and that’s completely fine and this will be perfect for them - the location is excellent and it’s spotlessly clean; but if I’d known about the noise then I wouldn’t have booked here
