I tried to contact the property to confirm the booking. They don’t answer the phone. I tried to call them several days, still they don’t answer the phone. I called hotels.com regarding my concern, about how, am I gonna stay a place that don’t answer their telephone. Hotels.com tried to call this hotel several times and they don’t answer the telephone. The worst to come. I asked hotels.com to cancel my booking and refund my money, since the hotel cannot be reached. I explain to hotels.com, how a I gonna stay hotel that cannot be reached on the phone with family. Hotels.com has showed me no sympathy and were unprofessional to handle a rare cases like this. All they wanted was to keep my money, hotels.com is selling a product or hotel reservation that they cannot reach out. I am very shocked that Hotels.com are selling hotel reservations that they can’t contact

We were also sent a complimentary fruit hamper to our room.. I was a little worried before coming from reading all the negative reviews but honestly speaking I couldn't find anything to complain about Alhamdulilah..

Excellent location, short walk from towards the Masjid - the side of the Green Dome.
Also a short walk to the food market.
Friendly staff and spacious clean room - good condition bath and shower (no horrible grout work)- comfortable mattress topper - clean Tea/Coffee making facilities.
Hallway to room smells good with some sort of atomiser and lifts are fast, on either side of the hallway.
The receptionist kindly gave me an upgrade from the usual room I'd booked.
All in all, this was a pleasant and peaceful experience. I comfortably got changed into my Ihram, ready for my onwards journey to Makkah via train.

The furniture in the room is a bit aged, but other than that it is perfect for a few nights for exploring the city. Even though it is next to the airport the noise from the planes could not be heard in the room. The buffet breakfast is OK for 1-2 nights.

It was so horrendous that I couldn't bear to spend a night there and had to seek alternative accommodation nearby. - The hotel was incredibly disappointing; I couldn't spend a night there. - Furniture was dirty and broken. - Bathroom was extremely unclean. - Doors were damaged. - No tea, coffee, or water available; the kettle was filthy. - Windows were broken. - Peeling paint on walls. - Dirt marks everywhere in the room. - Bed sheets had yellow stains. - Flies infested the room. - Extremely small room with no soundproofing. - Elevators and corridors were dirty. - Price was exorbitant compared to better options nearby. - Overall, this hotel doesn't even deserve a single star rating and should be considered for closure.

The hotel is bang opposite – Roz E Pak – Green Dome – and every prayer I was lucky and blessed to pay Salaams and walk straight into the hotel. What even made our stay memorable were the amazing Super stars @ the hotel. The lady who checked us in - in spite of being a packed house – ( The lobby literary was flooded with people ) she checked us in a flash. The Breakfast TENT – was unbelievable – what a view from there and the décor was simply outstanding – the breakfast menu was sumptuous and tasty Also the superstars were the housekeeping team on floor 4 – Liton and Rakib – they were thorough professional in their works !

The staff were really attentive, especially Md Opu who took care of all of our needs throughout the stay. The hotel is located right in front of the haram and their were four different exits with lifts which were never too busy even during prayer times. We stayed in the family suite with haram view and it was truly breathtaking. The interior is fresh and modern. It was a very comfortable stay and I'll be sure to come back next time.

|1.4km from city centerI booked this hotel based on Agoda review, especially for the location. Price was higher as if it was 5 stars hotel. I stayed in Makkah in Movenpick hotel in the same week with only 30$ more than the price of this bad hotel. While Movenpick hotel is a true 5 stars with all positive around it, Golden Tulip Al Zahabi in Madina is the worst I would say. - Room was too small - Breakfast is not with quality plus the staffs are very unprofessional. I orders for omelettes for my breakfast and it was just before my checkout to catch my train. I found responsible staff left the site for a long time without notice! This is one of the example only on the quality of service. - Room aminities were bad, broken, defective. After noticing them, no response was evident. I had to request several times to fix these. Washroom has moulds here and there and spill water from shower base. - Room had an iron board but no iron. After requesting for this, it took more than a hour to get one. They called me to dial 4 for this service and found that room phone was also not working! - Room Hair dryer was not working - Requested for toilet tissue as they gave only one for my 3 nights stay but request was reluctantly accepted after one day. -Room has window (room 214) and its hinge was observed broken. I felt security threat. - Most of the staffs can't speak in english. I would not recommend this hotel if your budget is more than 100 as you will get better hotel with this price. Still I can't believe it tool more than 230$ per night from me. I booked this through Agoda thats why I was not able to cancel after seeing poor things and room space.

I reported this and I was asked to come back next day speak to the Manager which I did. I spoke with Mr Turki who promised me to resolve this but he did nothing. Originally I booked 4* Nusk AlMadinah but when I was about to check-in they sent me to Nusk AlHijra. Please avoid this hotel if you have asthma, or with pregnant/elderly person because smoke smell was very strong. Smoke was coming from the picture I attached in this review. Hotel Staff DID NOT CARE!

They have a cafeteria in the lobby where breakfast is served, not in the form of buffet but one can order a breakfast dish, with a drink and water (one for each). 5-10 minutes drive to Masjid-e-Nabawi by taxi, cost totally upto your negotiation skills. Al Rashed Mega Mall is just across the road but the road is so busy, please don’t even think of crossing it straight on foot. Either take a taxi (sounds weird) or walk down the lane till a crossing and then come back all the way up. During my stay of 3 nights, I couldn’t go there even once. On the lane behind, 10 mins walk away, you will be able to find all restaurants like tazaj, dominos, mcdonalds etc. Overall, a pleasant stay, 20-30 mins from Airport and Harmain Train Station.

|1.71km from city centerFirstly I would like to make very clear that there are two Movenpick hotels in Madinah which some reviewers seem to be mixing up! This one is part of the Accor group and the Movenpick Madina that we stayed in. It is BEHIND the Pullman Zamzam Madinah, which faces one side of the Masjid al Nabawi haram. So it is a couple of roads walk away from the haram on the opposite side to the female entrances to the haram. This is nowhere near five star standard. Due to the poor condition of the bathrooms and room decor I would say three is being generous. Despite its attractive entrance and reception this is a rundown hotel in need of refurbishment, in particular the disgusting bathrooms. The bath, sinks and tiles were old, stained and mouldy. This was made worse by the fact that the housekeeping was very poor. The rooms weren’t cleaned and towels not changed unless we requested this. The actual rooms were ok despite the tired looking furnishings and lack of cleaning. The receptionist who checked us in apologised for not giving us adjacent rooms, but we discovered we did have adjacent rooms, and both were triple rooms. The rooms were quite spacious with comfortable generous sized beds but the TVs had very poor reception and the wifi was appalling, regularly dropping out. The fridges in the rooms were tiny and barely cold. In fact they and the lights turned off whenever we took the key cards out! Because of the hotel location the view out of the window was depressing, a view of the main road. A nice touch though was that as well as a Quran there was a nice prayer mat in each room. On our first morning we went down to breakfast to discover that the female staff had already let some guests have breakfast for our rooms. The head of staff quickly resolved this apologising profusely. In fact apart from this confusion on the first day we found the restaurant staff to be very nice people. They always had a smile for us and the waiters always ready to assist. We were very very disappointed with the very limited cooked breakfast items - there was barely any variety and apart from on one day only vegetarian options. The pancakes were disgusting and tasted like long life ones from packets rather than freshly made. Very very disappointing. But the worst was that there was no fresh coffee!! Only sachets of instant coffee. How is this possible in a so called five star restaurant? There was a big unhealthy selection of pastries though. And the strawberry juice when available was nice. We tried to order room service in the evening on one occasion- the staff member (chef?) who answered the call was rude and told us some of the items were either unavailable or incorrectly described on the menu! On the whole staying at this hotel was a major inconvenience due to its location and at best it is a three star hotel. I would not stay here again.
