We've got no wifi,we didn't got the wifi password. The food doesn't taste good. The rooms are dirty and the people are unfriendly. We sometimes feel uncomfortable here. PLUS they didn't cleaned our room.

Clean, friendly personnel, otherwise average. Wifi promised but not available (no familiar sounding SSID, no description sheet) Elevator promised on website, but only to 2nd floor. Had to walk to 3rd floor. Blanket much to thin for January. TV in a weird angle. Ok to watch zur News, but when watching a movie you get a stiff neck. However, it's ok for the rate.

We were in the area for just one night and picked the small hotel by chance. It is an old mill building that has been completely redone. Everything looks nice, clean and inviting. There is ample parking, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean - ours had a nice view at the little stream running by. The rooms are big enough and - the hotel being very much in the countryside - very quiet. Everything was very clean, with tea and coffee facilities. There is no mini bar, but we did not miss it. The breakfast buffet is not too big, but offers a wide range of things, everything with really good quality. We really enjoyed breakfast. We did not have lunch or dinner, but the menu looks promising.

Stayed 2 nights on business and enjoyed my stay. The Hotel is comfortable and clean with great staff and nice atmosphere. We ate dinner 1 night in the restaurant and we all enjoyed our meals. I also enjoyed learning a bit about the area's history. Highly recommended.

We arrived, and our room for me and my wife and our three year old (known to be coming) involved twin beds, and a really high veranda above the room with stairs that any adult would find daunting (posting on another photo), and we couldn’t possibly put her up there! She still needs a stair gate at home!!! Despite complaining the room was not safe or fit for purpose (and that neither the TV or safe worked), we were told to catch up with ‘the boss’ the next day, I would have to sleep on the veranda and our daughter would bed down with my wife. We later realised this was not possible as there was no pillow and there were no bed clothes on the duvet, for the tiny veranda bed. Next day, the breakfast was horrendous, but that is what we did, we caught up with the boss. I explained our plight, and she absolutely assured me that I was correct that I would not be paying for previous night, as in our horrendously hot room, the three of us had had to bed down on a double together, and nothing was sold as seen. She also could not move us (which is what the lady the night before had said) - but we agreed we would not pay for night 1, and would have a discount for nights 2 and three if they couldn’t move us, as we had nowhere else to go but shouldn’t have to go on like this. Despite this, having originally agreed for me to sleep in the ‘veranda’ the night before, but then I couldn’t as there were no bed clothes, and then accepting they could not move us, there were no clean bed clothes on night two! Further more, there was a wedding reception going on that would stop anyone sleeping, but there was certainly no consideration for a three year old! It was (and is) awful and the worst possible hotel I have ever slept in. I’ve stayed in some pretty awful places but I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review. I write, still sat here with the window open, unable to sleep, having to listen to back street boys, at 23.20, and our three year old is totally distraught. (It should be noted we requested a quiet room, but this would not be acceptable for anyone - I feel I am at the weeding reception!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS AWFUL PLACE. Final points. I would raise this with someone, but there was no one on reception last night, and isn’t tonight, in this ‘so-called’ hotel, and when I asked this morning, apparently it is not possible to give a number for someone to contact out of hours. So don’t expect any help in, or out, of hours. Totally awful. By the way if anyone from the hotel is listening, could you please call me? I AM NOT HAPPY. Total disaster.

I had a phenomenal experience in this hotel located in Coburg. I was attending a wedding rehearsal dinner at a nearby restaurant and the hotel was perfectly located to that venue but also the Castle and downtown area. Check-in was effortless and the front desk lady was beyond nice to me. She took the time to explain what was available at the hotel, show me around (I.e. elevators. Breakfast area etc) and have me some very useful tips as to how to get around town and see a few things in a minimal amount of time. I only had one afternoon to spare and was able to drive to the castle, visit everything and then head towards the downtown area for a couple hours stroll without any issue. My room was large, very clean and had everything one could wish for with a great view as well. The bathroom was also large and bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of storage and also a safe available. Now i noticed there was no AC but this can be common for more remote areas throughout Europe; it was a non issue as weather outside was mild and I could open 2 large windows for fresh air. My room was also very quiet. The breakfast was really good with great choices, fresh juice and coffee and strong selection of local breads and pastries. Checkout was also effortless and I was sent on my way back with thank you and a smile. Note that the hotel has outside free parking which is very convenient. So overall I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel considering that it was also very affordable for the quality and service received. Also note that it’s not your typical Best Western you’d see in the US let’s say; it’s an older property that was purchased by the chain and has fortunately retained all its character ;)
