The only Munich city center square is very close to the central train station. It is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, but the underground square of Munich central station is very large. Please pay attention to the guide signs. The hotel room is too small, but the layout is reasonable, it is okay for a person to travel, it is not suitable for a little bit, the hotel does not provide breakfast, but there are many places to eat nearby, and it is convenient. If you come to Munich for the first time, it is good to choose here alone. After all, it is very close to the scenic spots such as Mariaplatz and Munich's Grand Palace.

We stayed here in one of the cosy rooms (10m²) and it was indeed cosy but we knew that as it stated everything at booking that it was a compact 10m² room. This didn't bother us as we were using the hotel only as a base and didn't spend much time here other than to sleep and shower but they do have larger rooms if this is something that may bother you! Room was clean and although compact it had some good storage solutions and made great use of the space it had. We stayed 4 nights and found it good for what we needed we chose it based on location and price. It's just across the road to the main central city so it's walkable around the main centre sights and very close to metros / trams which we used for trips out further afield. 10 min walk to main train station. Grab and go breakfast was okay nothing special a few pastries and fruit, pastries nice but fruit could have been better apples often soft and looked like they'd been there too long and could do with a few more fruit options e.g. bananas. Room was quiet and bed was reasonably comfortable a little on the hard side but not too bad my only thing was pillows not very good and duvet covers and pillow cases very scratchy material not nice and soft. But overall for the price and location I would recommend to anyone wanting to use as a base to explore Munich!

The six-person room can accommodate six people every day, and the quilt and sheets are white and clean. The bed is a wooden bunk, which feels very strong and of good quality, as shown. The overall feeling is clean and tidy. There is a bathroom in the room, and the toilet is in the corridor. Another inconvenience is that there is no locker in the house. It is useless to bring the lock. It can't be locked. I rented a cabinet for 10 Euros at the front desk and refunded 10 Euros when I returned the keys. That is, the cabinets are unified on the third floor. Whether you live on the fifth or second floor, you must go to the three-tier cabinet to lock your things. More trouble, always climb the stairs, run up and down. The lights in the corridor are voice-activated, not bad. Overall good, very good location, located on the pedestrian street, very good location in the city center, very close to the main train station.

Together with the family, the hotel is opposite the park, the children like it very much, there are pharmacies and DM supermarkets on the left hand side for three or five minutes, it is not bad to drive ten minutes from the commercial street, the room is spacious, the big bed is comfortable, the only thing is to deduct money from the credit card after check-out. Later, the email negotiation clearly did not have consumption and returned

The hotel is next to the train station. The hotel was good, but the hotel system was not good. When I checked in, I said that I could not find my order. When I rushed to turn the phone order, I found that it was a computer problem and found an order. . I decided to be a double room but only gave me a single room, the bed was very small. I went down to tell them about this situation but I didn't believe it at first. I thought that we made a mistake. I gave the photo to the gentleman who had a cute beard and found that it was wrong because of the computer problem. He said that we would compensate the two single rooms. But neither of our two girls dared to sleep alone in a single room. I wanted to ask if they could give us a double room. Then he called a fat uncle who was suspected of being a general manager. The uncle’s attitude was particularly bad. At the beginning, it was said that our order was only fixed for a single person. Later, we said that we would either have two single rooms or give you two beds and continue to live in a single room. That's the kind of annoying feeling that I gave you two single rooms so kind and you didn't know enough. Later, there was really no way to take a two-bed bed and squeeze it. Originally, this hotel was just thinking about the long-distance flight the next day. I wanted to live a little better and sleep better. The result was such a bad thing. I asked the hotel how to do the price difference. Finally, I found Ctrip, and Ctrip said that because Now that the house price has risen, it can only compensate for four hundred. This house is set to be one thousand six, which is equal to one thousand and two single rooms. I am not going to live in a double room in another hotel. I would like to ask if there are any guests who have not stayed. The room and the solution for us to change the two single rooms, was also interrupted by the fat uncle with a very rude attitude. We either accept two single rooms or squeeze a single room. It is really an extremely bad experience. And breakfast is the least kind of breakfast I have ever eaten.

The bathroom was extremely small, lacked any hooks for hanging clothes or towels, and had only a few tissues available. The hotel location is a bit seedy so I wouldn't spend a lot of time walking around late at night in this area. Breakfast was crowded but we lucked into a table. Food was great. Smack in the center of Munich facing the Central Station is not posh, but rather convenient and allows direct access to the shopping mile, theaters, museums, cinemas and - yes - the more refined part of town. Inside the hotel happens to be (not brandnew, but) comfy & cosy & fun. The staff is really, really nice, the atmo is relaxed, happening and young. We felt warm and welcome the whole time. I also loved the bicycle in my room! Brilliant idea! The breakfast buffet is yummy, the prices at the Tel-Aviv-Style restaurant for dinner are reasonable. We slept very well and spent a wonderful weekend. I would come back any time.

This hotel in the south of Munich is very convenient, a 3-minute walk from the U-Ban Silberhornstraße metro station. It is only 4 stops from Silberhornstraße Station to Munich Central Station, so there is no inconvenience in sightseeing in the city. As you can go to the exhibition hall at once, it is a convenient place for a hotel on business trips. Breakfast at the Italian restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is excellent, and you can also purchase household items at the Rewe Mart across from the hotel.

Actually stayed in July of 2019 but couldn't select that. After some confusion between the different Holiday Inns around this particular area we finally found our hotel. Holiday Inn Express right next door so be aware of that. Found this a bit far out from city but train station is a 10 minute walk away so that was fine. From memory I found a couple of staff a little rude but not enough to ruin our stay. Rooms were ok and would recommend this if you don't mind being a bit far out from city at a cheaper rate.

The hotel is located 2 minutes from U-Bahn station Theresienwiese, very close to Oktoberfest venue, and 20 minutes easily on foot to Marienplatz. For the price we paid you will not find a better one in the central area of Munich. The room was ready before noon when we arrived. While reading other guests' comments, I wonder if we stayed at the same hotel? Some of the guests complained that they were freezing, sleeping with their coats over blankets – however it was quite the opposite! Because of these comments I took my warmest pyjamas with me that I did not wear at all, as it was very warm in the room (we stayed 5 nights in December). The radiators can be adjusted manually as you please, from cold to super warm! Some other said they had only one towel per person, we had two and one for the floor, and they were changed whenever we threw them on the shower floor. Room was cleaned daily, and it was quite large, with nice seating area, perfectly quiet (our room was facing the yard, 3rd floor), with comfy beds, super Wi-Fi (very strong signal). It is not luxurious, but nothing was lacking in the room (even the hairdryer was there, obviously other complaining guests could not find it, as it was in the desk drawer). Breakfast was standard and decent, the only minus for us was the lack of scrambled eggs. Staff was very nice and helpful and I would recommend this place without hesitation!

We stayed for 4 nights from July 14 and on a business trip. This hotel is "at home" if it is good, and "simplicity" if it is bad. There is only the minimum necessary to sleep (mineral water is also paid). However, if you don't ask for too high requirements, even services, there is no problem at all. The breakfast buffet was only the minimum thing, but it was delicious. Especially homemade pickles are the best. It is about 20 minutes by taxi to Marienne Square in the tourist center of Munich, and it is very good because it is 2 stations in the subway, but I think it was good that it was not so much around. The restaurant is also substantial within 10 minutes walk.

We stayed in this hotel from 26/12 to 30/12 2 adults + 1 child. We must say that the room was large, clean and all the comforts needed were available. We had to go out for breakfast and reach the main entrance; breakfast was not very much provided, especially with regard to the sweet (small cornets and small sizes). To be a very good reception staff member's availability when he comes to the hotel at 22.30 to give us double keys because those in the room we forgot them in the morning of the same day. I booked my room with my Accor loyalty points and was delighted to receive an upgrade and a free breakfast offer for the week end. When checking in, the young lady on the front desk was very kind and confirmed that we will get free breakfast. I especially asked if we are staying 3 nights do we only get 2 breakfasts free? She replyed, no we have 3 free breakfasts. Great. We had a pleasant stay, though because of the low number of staff, sometimes it is close to impossible to communicate with anybody. As I had an online check in with € 150 blocked on my credit card, I was very disappointed on departure when a different young lady on the front desk demanded payment for 2 breakfasts. I told her, that I was told we have all 3 breakfasts free. She that is not true because we only have 2. I told her again that her colleague informed us differently, but she was quite rude about this. Anyway as my money was blocked and we had to leave I left. I am now waiting to see what happens and have not heard from the hotel since. The renovated room upgrade was a nice surprise but the check out was a big disapointing finish to our stay.

A Mercure hotel always fits the brand standards. Stay simple and offer the basis necessity. Getting here was simple from Munich airport as I took the Lufthansa bus and later a connecting subway. I checked late evening around 9. The receptionist was prompt, organized and quick. The decor of the hotel is very fancy, stylish with various paintings of past female royals on each room door and many others on the wall... My room was very cosy and had everything I needed as a business traveller. Well planned rooms with Various power and USB ports. The 4th floor though is not for travelers with heavy/too many luggage or physically challenged as the elevators access is only till 3rd floor. The lobby area serves breakfast and this was kept simple and exactly what is required to start the day full of energy... Small but smart option for making your own healthy cereal bowl. Plus they had local bread and sausages speciality. Area to highlight: Housekeeping service didn’t replenish tea/coffee station. Plus it was surprising for them to change my dry towel after day 1 as Going by the sustainability program of Accor this was strange and also as I had kept it folded in one corner. Another focus to ensure periodic checks are made for specific stations as Honey display offering 3 type had 2 empty bottles. I guess a weekly task.. A hotel I Surely recommend to business travelers visiting Munich as not only my stay was comfortable but the area is well connected with trams, bus and other transport, plus many decent restaurants in the surrounding.

This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. Book breakfast at the front desk for 26 Euros at check-in, which is a few dollars cheaper than direct signing. There are many kinds of fruits, a lot of fruits, and a handsome little brother will make you an egg roll.

I traveled Germany for 2 weeks. My last stop was Munich. During the trip I mostly stayed in A&O hostels which is one the cheaper side (€45 vs €80 for a single room). Well for what difference are you paying? A more international vibe with more educated travelers, in A&0 hostels I have met construction workers who were working and just looked for the cheapest accommodation available. While in Wombat it were people who were traveling just like me and had full-time jobs as a teacher, accountant, urban planner, journalist or as a project manager. Nothing wrong with construction workers though, I enjoined my drinks with them as much as enjoined my drinks with the wombats residents. But if you are looking to meet equally minded people you are better off in the wombat hostel. The kitchen and lounge area were very clean. This was during covid times, occupancy rate was low, and they tried to separate the guest as much as possible, so if you paid for a 10 person dorm room you could be the only person in it. At the private room I had a big sunny terrace and a twin bed who was cleaned every day. Unfortunate the WiFi didn't reached my room. When the sun was out it could get very hot in my room. Note that during my stay the bar was closed for covid reasons. To replace this they placed a fridge at the reception were you could buy a beer for €2 each. And in the lounge area we could drink and chat with other guest untill 0h00. About the staff: most were very friendly and tried to go the extra mile for you. One night we had to stop drinking in the lounge area and were moved friendly to the closed bar. But two days after with someone else manning the night shift this wasn't possible anymore. The neighborhood is great since I traveled by train. There is a supermarket at the train station which is open 24/24. There is also a cheaper option called Lidl nearby. Munich is big and expect to need to walk for at least a half hour if you want to see other attractions like English garden. One last note 5 nights in Munich is probably to long. There is a lot to see but I would recommend only a 3 day stay.
