Pictures on line looked good but you never know. When we arrived we were delighted to see we were not disappointed. A farm converted into a very quaint relaxing place to stay and located only 20 minutes from the old city centre. Rooms were nicely appointed, clean with exposed stone walls. The front desk was polite and very helpful. Grounds had a swimming pool with lounge chairs, there were various seating areas throughout and a nice patio to enjoy your breakfast on. Speaking of breakfast, a wonderful buffet iwth fresh pasteries, cheeses, fruit, breads, eggs and the list keeps on going. This is our third trip to Italy and Artemisia is one of the nicest places we have stayed. I would highly recommend staying here and the price is right.

This small but surprising hotel is on the outskirts of Ragusa. Its run by an efficient lady called Roberta. The decor is minimalist but outstanding. What is truly outstanding is its cleanliness, its breakfast and the welcome afforded by Roberta and her staff. The rooms and the beds are very comfortable. Its clear that money has been spent to make guests feel as much at home as possible. Truly a great find and would recommend to anybody visiting the Ragusano. Will come again.... and again.... and again....

We enjoyed every day of our stay at this ancient, thoughtfully restored 17th century farm with a stunning view of the Sicilian fields. The friendly couple owning the place were extremely welcoming, they gave us tons of tips and offered us farmers’s fruits, cheese and locally made pastries every morning. The place is perfectly located between Ragusa, Modica, Scicli and the coastal towns so that we could easily explore the whole area and get back to Catania airport on the last day. The best part was the place itself : it makes you feel like you are living in a 17th century palace in the countryside - with a pool on the side. Clearly the best pick of our Sicily trip !

We stayed here for the last night of our Secret Sicily tour. It must have been the end of season as there didn't seem to be any other residents. Our large, very quiet and dark bedroom (112) was on the ground floor and overlooked the expansive pool. It was very clean, but lacked atmosphere, as did the restaurant. Our tasty group dinner was swiftly served and the wine waiter did a good job. However there didn't seem to be a bar which meant pre- and post dinner drinks meant a lack of conviviality. Next morning my wife and I went for a short stroll around the neighbourhood which comprised nice housing an a stunningly modern church, but it seemed an odd location for such an aspirational hotel property.

I've spent a couple of days at this resort which is in a very quiet and relaxing location! There is a swimming pool with music and a small Kiosk where to buy refreshing drinks and icecreams. I loved being there with my family and kids. The pizza was the best i've had during my short stay in sicily, the other dishes were tasty and fresh. i would suggest this place for those who like to get away from the busyiness of the city.

Spotlessly clean. Claudio and Rosa could not be better hosts or nicer people. Helpful. Full of information. So many extra courtesies. Rooms are as they are portrayed in photographs. Breakfast is crazy Sicilian! We actually stayed longer in Ragusa because we were so happy at this b n b. Quite simply. Nothing to be improved. ! Thank You for a lovely experience.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Key West superior suite for our anniversary. Daniela and her daughter kindly picked us up at the airport and pointed out some shops and restaurants on the way to the B&B - they even offered to carry our bags to the room from the parking! The room was amazing - very clean, comfortable and spacious. It is conveniently located right between Ragusa Superiore and Ragusa Ibla, prefect for visiting the upper and lower part. There are around 250 steps leading down to Ragusa Ibla - We managed to get around by foot just fine but for those with mobility issues, I highly suggest to take a car. After sightseeing around Ragusa, we looked forward to going back to the room and relax in the jacuzzi. Morning breakfast was also perfect. Every morning Daniela would come to see what type of coffee we preferred and prepared a nice spread of Sicilian style pastries in our room. On one of the days we also visited Marina Di Ragusa - bus times were a bit confusing at first but one of the locals was kind enough to explain. You can buy a 2 way ticket using the Tumino bus. In the evening we had a couple's massage booked which was perfect to unwind and relax. After that we were surprised to find the jacuzzi ready and next to it a beautifully prepared platter of local delicacies - cheeses, meat, pasta and bread, including sparkling wine - pure bliss! On the last day we had a late flight, however Daniela was kind enough to offer another room (junior suite) at a small extra charge in order to checkout later. When it was time to leave, Daniela and John kindly took us back to the airport. I can say this has been one of the best anniversaries we have had so far and would definitely recommend it to other couples. We cannot thank the hosts enough and we hope to be back soon! :)

I was a bit apprehensive when I booked a short Easter stay for 5 of us and 2 dogs... this property has no reviews in tripadvisor! But it was close to Pozzallo, where our ferry landed and we were coming in late so I did not want to drive too far on the first day. And they were pet friendly. To say my fears were unfounded is an understatement!! We could not have found a better agriturismo property. The owner Giorgio is simply brilliant; he made us feel like part of the family from the first minute, always asking whether we needed anything and cooking up dinners and lunches when we asked - often at short notice. He is a brilliant cook, regaling us with lovely traditional Sicilian fare; even taking into consideration that two of our group were vegans. The place itself is brand new, opened just a few months ago. Rooms are spacious - especially the three bedroom suite. They have all amenities and are kept impeccable clean. Dogs are no problem and they have a massive property where they can roam to their hearts' content. The place is at the top of a hill and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside till the sea... And you are only 30 minutes from Ragusa and Modena. We will definitely be back!!

Ok, you're planning on going to visit Ragusa or Ibla so I won't give a review of how pretty the town is. However, I will highly recommend staying at this B&B -- one of the first and still the best. The decor is homey yet chic, right out of the pages of Decor magazine. The rooms are huge with high ceilings, ornate chandeliers, with perfect touches of old and new. The breakfast is a satisfying spread with homemade jams and cakes and, if the weather is good, you get to sit on the veranda overlooking the town and soaking in the whole Italian-ess of it all. Location-wise, it is a 5-10 minute walk to the public parking lot, 5-10 min walking to the duomo and all the shops and restaurants. So, near the happening areas without being in the happening area and its noises (although when we were there it was relatively quiet all around). But what makes this the bets damn B&B in Sicily is the wonderful proprietor and hostess Elena and her husband Simone. Elena speaks about 1000 languages and since she was born and raised in this very house, she was always happy to share with us the history of the town and make great recommendations on where to go. Ciao, Elena from J and Vale. Grazie per tutti.

We loved Ragusa, and loved Il Duomo Relais! It was my favorite of all the places we stayed in Sicily. I felt happy and at home as soon as we arrived. It is a bit tricky to find, you have to wind around up to the top of the hill on a narrow street, but Katia’s detailed directions helped, and parking was readily available along the street. There are only 4 rooms here, 3 upstairs with balconies and a view of the dome of the duomo and surrounding area. The one downstairs room is directly off the breakfast room and lacks the view, so I would recommend booking upstairs if you can. It is a lovely, peaceful place. The room and bed were great, complete with a welcome bottle of wine and almonds to enjoy on the balcony while savoring the view. There were plentiful pillows, and bedside tables with electrical outlets, lamps, and drawers. No dresser, but a wardrobe with a shelf and an ottoman in the corner which I used for my clothes. Katia was able to provide some extra hangers on request. There’s a refrigerator and a safe. The bathroom had good lighting and good water pressure in the shower, big fluffy bath towels and robes, a shelf for toiletries and two robe hooks. Could have used a hook or ring for the hand towel, otherwise everything was well laid out for a comfortable stay. Best of all was our wonderful hostess, Katia. She was very gracious, welcoming and helpful. Each morning she welcomed us to breakfast and outlined the day’s offerings, which varied somewhat – caprese one day, torta another, etc. There was always meat and cheese, breads, yogurt, cereal, fruit, juice, and assorted pastries, including little cannoli which she filled to order. There was a coffee/tea/hot cocoa machine available around the clock, as well as fresh fruit and candied almonds. The location is very central, close to the duomo, though you will get a workout climbing up the steps each day.

We stayed here for a week while visiting the area. This is a lovely 17th century building which has been beautifully restored. It has 4 very individual bedrooms and a breakfast area.(the wonderfully restored old stable). There is no kitchen so breakfast is not cooked, but delicious none the less. It is described and served by the wonderfully vivacious and helpful host, Rita. It includes the usual cereals yoghurts cheeses and salamis as well as the many Italian and Sicilian delicacies prepared by Rita’s husband, a chef. There was always something different every day, a real delight! Our room had a lovely walled terrace with a beautiful view of the dome of the Duomo. Rita was an exceptionally attentive and helpful host even coming to collect us in the car park when we arrived. The narrow one way system means that it is difficult to find Neropece even with google maps and a satnav. Within 5 mins of phoning Rita arrived and escorted us to a car park near the hotel. She also provided us with a parking pass to enable us to park nearer the hotel during our stay. On our last day we had to leave early and were provided with a lovely picnic breakfast to eat on the way. A fabulous experience. Thank you Rita for all your help. I would certainly go back. One minor problem, is that if you have mobility or breathing problems, there is no lift!
