Loved the Berlin hotel. We rested with a friend in mid-February 2019. The hotel is 3 stars, but service and cleanliness for 5 stars. Every day, 8 clean towels, a new roll of toilet paper, as well as new gel, shampoo, soap, tea, sugar, etc. The restaurant was not, I can not say anything. Very polite and sincerely smiling staff. Also convenient location for those who travel around the sights on their own. Within walking distance there is a bus station and buses are constantly sent to the region and their price is inexpensive. For example, we went to Baltiysk and the ticket price is 130 rubles, in Baltiysk we transferred by ferry (70 rubles there and back) and we are already on the Baltic spit. Well it is, a digression. In general, I advise. At a low price, service and relaxation are 100%.FromUS$22.00

とても清潔で、スタッフもフレンドリーです。ホステルは土足で入れませんので、スリッパのご用意を(もしくは買えます)。 歩いて10分しないところに、6:00-26:00まで開いているビクトリアВикторияというスーパーがあり(カリーニングラード駅隣)食料買ってキッチンで食べることもできます。ケーニヒスベルク大聖堂や川沿いへは歩いて15-20分ほどです。 夜洗濯乾燥機も使わせてくれて、洗濯乾燥それぞれ100RUBです。アイロンもあります。 空港送迎タクシーも、yandexというUber的なタクシーアプリと値段ほぼ変わらず、運転手さんもとてもいい方でした。 また泊まりたいです！ Really clean and cozy hostel. Don’t forget bringing slippers as hostel is not allowed to get in with shoes (or you can buy them in hostel). There is a hypermarket called Victoria Виктория by nice less than 10 min walk from hostel. Train station is also next to the hypermarket. You can buy yummy local foods and enjoy it in hostel. Königsberger cathedral and other must - to - see points are around 15-20 min walk from the hostel. Laundromat is available during night time. Cost was 100RUB each for washing / drying. We asked taxi via hostel from/to airport. Cost is almost same as it’s of car service app (like yandex), and driver is really nice person. We miss him. If I have another chance to come to Kaliningrad, definitely, I will stay this hostel again! FromUS$9.00

Hotel staff is very friendly, professional and helpful but rooms are like from Soviet times. Bed is not comfy and rooms are cold. Furniture is really old. No elevator. Breakfast did include coffee (milk with small dose of coffee), omelet did taste like water, sausage was ok and service was nice. Breakfast did cost 5€ and i say that this was not worth it. The wife wanted to see the May 9th parade, so we picked this quiet hotel by the river on the “fishing village” street. Most staff could speak English. Our room was on the 4th floor, quite a hike from the reception, and next to a room entitled “Technical Premise” (sic). This emitted a periodic low-register throbbing sound, which we could hear in our room. This was faintly irritating. The room itself was decent, if utilitarian in style, but it had everything that you would need: bath, shower, safe, fridge, wi-fi and had a nice view of the river and the House of the Soviets- this is something of a landmark in the city. Restaurant is good, service was slow on the night we dined there, but there was an excellent duo providing entertainment, a female singer and a jazz guitarist. You can have food in the lobby bar, which has dining tables, the menu is the same as the restaurant and we found the service to be quicker. Not very well advertised, but there is a cocktail bar in the ‘tower’ on the 6th floor which has lovely views of the river at night. It’s a five minute walk to the “Honeymoon Bridge” and the Kant museum. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the main square in Kaliningrad and the route is very straight forward. It doesn’t take long to orientate yourself. There is a pool and a spa on site, the cost if which was included in our room rate however we didn’t use either. I don’t know what I was expecting from a hotel in Russia, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. FromUS$93.00

We stayed here during the world cup. English was spoken overall pretty well. The front desk spoke excellent English. The breakfast was 5 star including champagne. The food was amazing. Beautiful dining room as well. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable enough. There was a nice balcony and we enjoyed opening the doors and looking out. Minibar and TV are in room as well. If I ever went back to Kaliningrad, I would absolutely stay here again. The manager did not speak English but he was still awesome and made sure we were taken care of. The guy working nights and long hours at the reception desk was the bomb. He made us laugh and he was so helpful. There is a grocery store across the street which was nice to have close as well. I would say this is a mid-range hotel. I also felt this hotel was very clean. We had no issues with cleanliness.FromUS$102.00

Full ratings to this hostel. We stayed as a group of 8 across various rooms and found it clean, friendly, and fabulously decorated. The male on reception was helpful, answered all our questions and spoke good English. Soft drinks and nibbles on sale in the hostel (cans and chocolates) for reasonable prices alternatively there is a SPAR 5 minute walk away. If you are after eating out, they provide a discount card (15% if i remember correctly) to various cafes around the town. We ate at one and it was great. Only down side was that it was rather hot in the room and there was no air conditioning. It was however 32 degrees outside so it can be expected! Location is a short walk away form the centre of town. We took a taxi from the Southern Railway Station for 130 rb, otherwise its a 28 minute walk. Shower pressure great, plenty of plug sockets and wifi throughout. Do not take on board any of the negatives reviews. This place is superb.SOLD OUT

Despite my girlfriend and I being made ill on our visit to Kaliningrad, the hotel was superb and the best place to be sick. We had an executive room and it was very large with a very comfortable bed. There were seats to recline in and a very spacious bathroom. The breakfast offered is varied with a cook on hand to make fresh eggs for you. The staff are polite and helpful. It's conveniently located a mile or so from the centre, a very affordable taxi ride away from the sights.FromUS$68.00

I do not often write reviews on hotels, but this one makes for an exception. I have been helped by the friendly staff so nicely that I can't recommend them enough. First, for their work to write a letter of invitation to apply for a visum. They did not ask for any fee to write the letter, although it would have been acceptable if they had asked for a fee. Correspondence was swift and kind. And now with the corona crisis, I asked if a cost-free cancellation is possible. Although the booking regulations stated otherwise, the hotel has agreed to cancel free of cost. Really remarkable. I hope to visit Kaliningrad next year and, if so, I will make sure to book Ibis Kaliningrad Center. They are an example for all Ibis hotels around the world. We (me and my wife) went to see the city and the region of Kaliningrad (former known as Konigsberg before second world war) in the second half of July 2018, just after the World Soccer Championship ended. Nice place to see, somehow frozen in time, despite the recent opening towards West due to World Soccer Championship. Unlike almost all other places we had visited throughout the world, it was impossible for us to buy there any guide / book / information leaflet in English (or French / German / Spanish / Italian - you name it). Even the lady from the reception desk of the hotel spoke a basic English, while a "babushka" (old lady) from the travel agency located in the lobby of the hotel spoke nothing else but Russian. However, with her help I managed to speak over the phone in English with one of her superiors and thus we got access to the most valuable resource of the city (in my opinion) - the local English speakers who provided us two very nice tours in the region of Kaliningrad (most interesting was the Kuronian spit, but amber mine was also a hot point for us). As for the city itself, most of the old heritage was destroyed at the end of second world war and the few remains are scattered here and there. There is of course a brilliant exception, namely the cathedral located downtown, very close to our hotel. Restaurants were ok, but you have to ask for menus in English (most of them have that). Prices are very good for anyone coming from Western Europe and affordable even for us as Eastern Europeans. There are also available very good local products. The hotel itself was recently refurbished and rooms are pretty large. Breakfast was above average. There is also a mini fridge in the room (without drinks, but useful anyway). The only weak point was services : no daily replacement of towels (but maybe that was the rule as we could not read the directory in Russian) As a conclusion, it was a nice experience overall and an enjoyable place where I would come back probably 10 years from now.FromUS$33.00

This hotel was rumored to be once a block of apartments. Which explains the incredible amount of space you get. I was in a light-filled suite that probably measured 1,000 square feet (approx 100 sq meters). The main living area was huge and had a sofa seating area plus a dining area and an open kitchen. There were two bedrooms, each with its own walk-through closet to an en-suite bathroom. One bathroom had a shower only and the other had a bathtub and self-standing shower. The bath/shower amenities were all from Elemis. There are comfortable bathrobes and slippers. The mattresses are firm and the room temperature was perfect considering how chilly it was outdoors. There was a huge terrace that spanned the width of the room, overlooking a canal. The furnishings are all simple and very Scandinavian. Hopefully, the paint holds up as it looked super brand-new. The hotel service is very nice. We did not try the spa at all although people mentioned it. The one main drawback is the sole elevator and no stairs. The elevator is incredibly slow, and there were (I think) six floors. No stairs available to use.

Well maintained property, clean rooms, comfortable beds and profession, friendly and polite staff. I was very pleased with all aspects of my stay here. The staff was super friendly checking in as well as each time I approached them with questions. The room was in excellent condition and I had a very nice view from the room. The hotel directly attaching to a nicer shopping mall so if you want to shop that is easy enough to do. There are some so sites to see close to the hotel which is nice as well. Would definitely highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Kaliningrad.

Located in the walking distance to everything you would want to see. Very nice front desk team. Rooms are well equipped, everything is new and clean, selection of pillows. A bit noisy if you open the window, but it’s a city center. Ventilation is good so you can sleep with windows closed. Breakfast is organized in a cafe which is part of the trade center next door but hotel guests can go there via internal connecting corridor. No need to go outside. Overall is very good.
