I had booked and paid three nights in this hotel, although I stayed there only two nights - an additional night was booked only for early accommodation, my plane arrived in Almaty very early and wanted to settle at once. Breakfasts in this hotel are delivered to the room as it is a mini hotel and they have no separate breakfast room. For breakfast, I have been offered for the choice of cache and toast or eggs and cut cucumber. Of the three paid breakfasts I was fed only one. On the day of the arrival I didn't bring it, although the order was accepted, on the second day did not accept the order (it turns out, breakfast had to be ordered the day before on the respiratory, which no one warned). My room was on the third floor and I asked to bring my suitcase to the room, the suitcase had to wait for forty minutes. This hotel has absolutely unprofessional staff, they have no experience in hotels and it is noticeable. Moreover, they absolutely care whether the guests will remain satisfied with their service. I asked for a return of the breakfast that the staff promised me on the resepshne - they said they would contact the service provider and make a return. But then the refusal came. That is, they said it just so to get rid of it. Another of the downsides: the hotel asks for a deposit at check-in, which is then returned on the day of departure in case of non-corruption of property in the room. No hotel in the world does that. Bed is comfortable with a hard mattress, but the pillows are inconvenient. Bedding of acceptable quality, bathroom plumbing is good. The hotel could be excellent given its location and size, but the service is badly damaging to the impression.

|2.44km from city centerWhat a disappointing hotel. The service was awful throughout. Whatever the question the answer was always NO! Check in time was 2:00pm. I arrived at noon and asked for an early check in. NO! The room was ready but unless I paid $50 they would not allow early check in. (A different clerk did eventually check me in early) The restaurant closed at 7:00pm for dinner and there was no nearby option. I got take out and just asked for silverware and an empty glass. NO, you may not take to room. Eventually I procured a single fork (still no glass allowed in room. “People steal them”). 30 min later, a knock on the door asking for the fork back! Bar was horribly stocked. Red wine? NO. White Wine? NO. Just beer Breakfast opened at 7am. I arrived at 6:50 and just asked if I could have a coffee while i waited. NO. They ran out of juice, asked for more….wait for it…NO. Power was off several times, once for 2+ hours. Windows don’t open so it became very stuffy. Room was not cleaned one day. I asked just for fresh towels. I had to bring my used ones down to the front desk, where they counted them to be replaced. I guess their guests steal towels too! On checkout I asked politely if I could speak to the manager. “No manager here”. That kinda sums up the whole stay. Many, many better options here and this should never be part of IHG with the terrible service

All the rest of course quiet horror: When the settlement was not there was a card to open the room! A shame! We were asked if you could open the door to the room and leave you until the tra without the key, you would not go anywhere? :) PERSONAL UPER!!!
Next, there was ONLY a towel, ONLY a slipper, etc. , how is it possible when the management sees that the booking is paid for two???
Staff constantly rolling on the elevator, waiting for the elevator in the hotel simply not possible (walking!)

In the final and most important and terrible - it is certainly the STRADE in the hotel, stole the BOSE headphones directly from the bag with all the crossovers, noticed it already in the plane when decided to watch the film, but the headphones in the bag were not!
Breakfast as well as the food in the hotel - Full of a nut!
As a result, they simply regretted that they settled and chose Grand Mildom, no recommendation for future visitors!

The hall and entrance group are beautifully stylishly modern. The rooms are not great. A small area, old, but intact furniture, worn carpet, outdated tiles, old towels, with tatters. There is not a single shelf in the wardrobe - there is nowhere to put things, only 2 hangers. Bed linen is clean. There is a kettle, cups, tea and sugar. Water 0.5 is brought daily. Mini bar - I had the whole refrigerator, a colleague - empty. Upon request, I think they will bring. There are only 2 ironing rooms. On the 6th and 7th floors. On the 7th floor, the light is very dim - you stroke almost to the touch. For such a large hotel, it would seem that it is not enough. But for 7 days of stay - I did not stand in line at the ironing board. There are no gyms, saunas, swimming pools. And this is a big minus of the hotel. Breakfasts at the Zina restaurant are very varied and tasty. Kashi, cottage cheese are awesome. There are fresh vegetables, salads, tartlets, etc. There are also serious dishes: manti, meat, baked potatoes. The pastries are mostly delicious. But sometimes they serve pies, samsushki for three or four days. Already oak. Maybe they put them in for the appearance of a larger number. For a change, with frequent business trips, you can stay at this hotel once a year.

The room is very big, the bed is very, very comfortable, the room is quiet, and I sleep well every day. One set of toiletries for one person. Only the basic set.
The breakfast is really rich, five-star standard, various meat, egg, milk and fruit desserts, so satisfying.
The only downside of the hotel is that the network is really bad, basically useless, only use your own mobile phone to have better traffic. It is strongly recommended to improve. I mentioned it to the front desk, but there was no improvement.

|5.11km from city centerUpon arrival, the hotel appeared to be a cozy, chic and sophisticated boutique hotel near the airport. Danial, the front desk clerk greeted me. He was helpful with the check-in service. I didn't think I had enough money to get a taxi for the next day, but Danial reassured me by calling a taxi that charged a standard price to the airport. Next, I went up to my room and was pleasantly surprised by the newness of it and modern design. It was very clean and comfortable. The only amenity that the hotel didn't have was body lotion, which I had forgotten to bring. The towels appeared white, fresh and new. The next morning, I was greeted by friendly dining room staff for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that breakfast was included in the price of the hotel. It was not buffet style but served hot individually and in generous portions. First was the warm oatmeal/porridge, croissant, butter, and yogurt. I thought that was all the breakfast I was going to get. Then eggs, sausage and grilled vegetables were placed in front of me and when I thought I was finished, out came a platter of sliced fruit of oranges, pineapple, kiwi and apples served with coffee or tea. Wow!! was all I could say with my mouth full and looking out the large windows with the scenic view of the mountains in a cozy chic décor on one side and a classy European style on the other side of the dining room gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling. The disadvantages of the hotel are no ATM machine, no body lotion and located far from city centre and isolated, but near the airport and great mountain view. Positive things are low price for high quality, clean, new, modern, wonderful hotel staff, great mountain view, peaceful, quiet and yummy breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my 1 night stay and recommend this hotel to everyone who is travelling to Almaty.

The child came on the glass near the pool. The glass was broken the night before, but the fragments were not removed. The coffee machine hasn't worked in the restaurant since morning! Nobody knows why and when they're fixed. Instead of vegetarian salad, I got a Caesar salad. And the compote or lemonade to the children didn't bring, although I resembled it 3 times. Then it turned out that they were not prepared because they were not cooked. Like the eggs for the soup from the menu, they were not cooked. The recipe books are not available because 'not yet'. The beach of the hotel is dirty, everywhere garbage and cucumbers, packages from under chips, although we come from the morning ... We will rest another week, probably, there will be something to tell!

Больше всего понравилось расположение, очень удобно было добираться в разные места и передвигаться пешком, просто вечером погулять возле Дворца республики. Завтрак входил в стоимость, был с 7 до 11,но по факту в 10 уже есть было особо нечего, поэтому если хотите позавтракать, надо вставать рано, чего в отпуске не хочется. Сауна, бассейн и тренажёрный зал на троечку, но мы и не ради этого ехали. Территории своей почти нет, но при этом всё таки можно посидеть вечерком на улице за столиком, ввиду отсутствия балконов. В целом можно рекомендовать как хорошую и доступную гостиницу.

When we placed an order at this hotel, we thought we could save some money by having breakfast for one person. However, the front desk at check-in told us that we could only stay alone. Only then did we understand that Almaty hotels The number of people who place an order for breakfast is the same as the number of people checking in, so our family of three must pay another 1w jian ge to check in, including breakfast for two other people, and then we can check in.

While walking, I discovered a botanical garden. The tickets were cheap. Going in was like exploring a secret place. I saw many ancient trees and squirrels, and the botanical garden landscape design is also beautiful. It’s worth it, come back and pick up your luggage after shopping.

The included breakfast has a wide array of options and the chef will prepare eggs to your request. The staff is friendly and efficient. I really like this hotel and am impressed. Parks and places around the hotel are nice, and you can have a good walk around, if you wish. There were always noise (I'd assume cleaners did some work) quite early in the morning. Another issue is that the breakfast time in the morning is until 10am sharp, which is not convenient for people travelling from Europe for leisure. As I understood, there're no alternatives available. We asked a bottle of water and an additional blanked to the room, and it was challenging to get them. Particularly, with the bottle of water, as they refused to put the cost of it on the hotel room, but requested a cash payment. It was a surprise for us.

However, the reality of our experience fell significantly short of those anticipations. 1. Check-in Procedure: Even with online check-in we were subjected to a 30-minute wait. One of our pre-booked rooms was not ready at the time of arrival. 2. Room's Condition: - A glaring lapse in cleanliness was evident with the state of the bathroom floor near its entrance (photo attached). - The bathroom door's sliding mechanism was faulty and highly inconvenient. - The overall condition of the bathroom indicated it's due for an overhaul and repairs (photos attached). - The discovery of a used ear swab under the table raised significant concerns about the room's preparation and cleanliness (photo attached). - A faulty power outlet in the bathroom added to the growing list of maintenance concerns (photo attached). - The discovery of a dead insect in the drapes clearly points to a continuous lack of attention to detail with the cleaning staff (photo attached). 3. Birthday Cake: Our agreement for a pre-arranged complimentary birthday cake was not only overlooked but was also delivered a day later than promised, despite having multiple conversations and providing evidence of our prior agreement (via the official hotel WhatsApp). 4. Water Bottle Replenishment: The consistent oversight in providing an essential like water, despite multiple request channels, was surprising. The water had to be fetched from the cleaning staff, we had to chase them and ask. None of the other channels, like the official app or the reception, fulfilled our request for the water delivery. 5. Dining: Our anticipation of an à la carte menu was countered by a buffet offering. Being told this was due to hotel occupancy levels feeling unsatisfactory. This went on for both evenings spent at the hotel. Portions of the a la carte menu were available only for room service. 6. Buffet Food Quality: The limited options, particularly for main courses (3), left much to be desired. Our experience with the freshly prepared pasta was particularly disappointing. It was watery, bland, disgusting. You could get better pasta at an office canteen. We have travelled quite a big part of the world and this buffet was easily the worst we have ever had. Both taste and variety were not worth the price. And we were forced into it by being denied the a la carte option. The hotel is above capacity - great, but we paid for the same service as if it weren't, right? Not OUR problem. 7. Breakfast Experience: The overall offering was lackluster. The variety was uninspiring, especially when compared to even basic 3-star hotels. Stale pastry (croissant from the day before) at a 5* hotel is inexcusable - these are absolute basics. Staff appeared overwhelmed, often forgetting to replenish food and drinks (had to be reminded many times) and struggling to manage guest numbers. Only 2 juice options fo

|3.81km from city centerIt's a very well know hotel with beautiful outlook. There's a grand ballroom on the Ground floor next to the entrance which could be rather noisy for guests even till 11pm. They at first tried to put me to a room on a floor under overhaul renovation which is dim and dirty with renovationn debris and tools everywhere (see pics posted). I refused and insisted to have a change. The changed one is much normal.
