|3.18km from city centerNeben dem Entree eine schmuddelige Raucherecke, klebriger Boden, Abfall, Kippen, ein überlaufender Aschenbecher. Das Check-in kühl, der Rezeptionist hochnäsig. Ebenso kühl die nüchternen Hotelflure mit dem Charme eines Krankenhauses, nur bei weitem nicht so sauber in dieser ehemaligen 'Holiday Inn' Immobilie. Perfekt dazu passend das Bad: Klein, ungemütlich, mit abgenutzten, ausgefransten Handtüchern; vom Zimmer der Ausblick auf die Rückwand des 'Best Western' nebenan. Die schmalsten Betten mit den unbequemsten Matratzen, die ich jemals in einem Hotel ertragen musste. An Durchschlafen nicht zu denken - ab der 2. Nacht kommen zum Schlafmangel noch heftige Rückenschmerzen - in der 3. Nacht dann wohl ein Geheimnis gelüftet: Meine Matratze liegt, gut kaschiert von der Bettwäsche, direkt auf einer nackten Sperrholzplatte. Reparatur ? Standardausstattung ? Was soll dieser Pfusch ? Kein Room-Service, keine Reinigung - auf Bitten erhalten wir zwei abgezählte Päckchen Instant-Kaffee für den Wasserkocher. Am 3. Morgen läuft das geschmacksneutrale Kaffeegebräu durch die Böden der aufgeweichten Pappbecher - neue gab's natürlich nicht. Rein optisch immerhin stimmig zum übergelaufenen Abfalleimer direkt darunter, nach drei Nächten ohne jeglichen Service ... Stop ! Mit Corona-Maßnahmen zum Schutze unserer Gesundheit lassen sich diese inakzeptablen Zustände weder erklären noch kleinreden, denn: In allen anderen Hotels in Sachsen auf derselben Reise, im selben Zeitraum erlebten wir exzellenten Service sowie perfekte Sauberkeit, trotz gewisser Einschränkungen und bei einwandfreier Berücksichtigung aller erforderlichen COVID-19 Maßnahmen. Dies waren allerdings echte 'First-Class' Hotels ... weiterer Kommentar: Überflüssig.

|0.82km from city centerWe stayed in this hotel twice during the last month. The first time we had a little suite on the top floor of the Bastei. This was fine, if a little bare. Checkin and breakfast were fine. The second time we found ourselves in the annex, the Konigstein. Check in at the Bastei was poor with 20 minute queue. The annex had a fast food stall across the front and entry is by room card. The lift was dirty when we arrived and smelled of vaping and did not work properly. The impression is of an unmanned operation. The room was on the 6th floor and was noisy during the evening, from the very busy street below. At breakfast we were instructed to sit at a table already occupied by another guest and the staff member was aggressive with us saying the nicer tables were all for groups. No sign of these by the time we left of course. Also over-zealous table clearing, go to the buffet for more and your cutlery and coffee are gone. So better check in, maybe safes in the better rooms, and some serious staff training about customer service, rather than bullying.

The bus stop was about 200 meters from the hotel, making it very easy to get to the center (1 direct bus at about 20 minutes). In addition, the hotel is located on a very low busy street, so it is possible to park the car ”under the window” for free, and the nights are quiet and quiet. With regard to the design and service I have no objections. Next time I will be in Dresden I will no longer have a problem with choosing a accommodation ;)

The rooms are well equipped, the bathroom with shower. Fen, shower hairdryer, tools etc. are there. Because staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offer is overwhelming. Wi-Fi was also available in the house 2 , accesses were free as much as we wanted. For a 3-star hotel all respect, price - performance totally OK.

On weekend there is a 24h-Check-In, so I could check in well at 1 pm. Due to my late arrival, at request, I was granted a free extended check-out, a great praise for this. The room was beautiful and modern. The bathroom was modern and completely sufficient. The hotel flur looks attractive. Breakfast had a little youth hostel charm. The breads were quite lazy, but there are a variety of lifts (no Nutella original) also fresh rhetoric, yoghurt, musli, fruit etc.. Breakfast is also to clean yourself, but it is still possible.

|1.1km from city centerThis hotel is in a charming traditional baroque area of the Neustadt rather than the tourist dominated Altstadt. The area is quiet and our room especially so because it overlooked the inner courtyard. Bedrooms are a good size with traditional styling matching the era of the building. Our bathroom was adequately equipped but disappointingly small for a hotel of this quality. Our main, and fundamental, criticism of this hotel was that breakfast was not available in its own breakfast room as stated on its website and booking confirmation. It was instead provided at the neighbouring sister hotel, the Bulow Palais; fortunately for us the weather was chilly but fine for the morning 150m walk. The enhanced Palais breakfast was superb, with exemplary table service for cooked meals and a huge variety of delicacies at the buffet. It was provided at the Residenz price but that does not make this unannounced change acceptable. With online communications available, we should at least have been told about the changed breakfast arrangements in advance; failure to communicate is unacceptable in this standard of hotel. Accordingly, and at best, we can therefore only rate it average.

|0.18km from city centerStayed here for four nights and just loved the location of the hotel, near to all the sights, good restaurants plus a fabulous bakery almost on the doorstep. We used the kitchen area for breakfast and that worked fine, plenty of crockery and cooking utensils had we felt the urge to cook (we didn't). We had the one bed apartment, the room was big and very quiet at night, shower was great. Reception was open from around 8.30-7pm and we found the staff very helpful and welcoming especially when we first arrived. Just the wifi signal was a bit intermittent in our room but that wasn't a big deal for us except when trying to watch a football match from the UK!

|1.77km from city centerIt is a great hotel, the service is top. The Hotel Crew is friendly. Breakfast buffet is rich and fresh. The rooms are large and friendly furnished. The location is so that you can also reach the city walking distance and about 10 minutes. We could park our car in the deep garage for 12 nights , I think on the street with a parking ticket we would have come more expensive and it would not have been so safe.
We are satisfied and will come back in any case .

The Hotel is around the corner from a ton of excellent restaurants, and only a short short walk from the city center were one can find beautiful outdoor terraces with wonderful views of the city. Once construction in the market in front of the hotel is finished, I'm sure there will also be another excellent view on the doorstep. I will happily stay here again next time I need to be in Dresden.

The rooms are somewhat smaller than other Melia hotels, but this may be due to the Innside branding. However, the room certainly served us well. We could walk everywhere that we wanted in Dresden. It was also conveniently located near a Lidl grocery store where would get snacks and drinks. With its location to the Altstadt, there were restaurants everywhere. The Dresden Frauenkirche was just a few steps from the hotel. We booked our room with the included breakfast. The breakfast was very good, and there were adequate selections. This hotel proved to be an excellent choice for Dresden.

Service at the reception was great, quick and professional. The rooms are modern, everything is new and extremely clean with a nice river view. I really liked the modern design. Breakfast was very good, a lot of choice and a lot of room in a nice big lobby. All together an excellent hotel in walking distance of the city cenrre.

Everything seemed to me clean and in a good condition. I really recommend this hostel - also as it is very nicely situated in the most interesting and vibrant part of Dresden. The online check-in option seemed to me a little bit buggy still but anyway it finally worked and might have saved some time at the reception. Be aware that if you pay at the reception you might need to pay in cash...

|0.88km from city centerEasy 15 min tram from the Hauptbahnhoff and, as others have noted, highly accessible to both the old and new towns. Don't miss the old-town-sights but as others have mentioned check out the new town as well. Louisenstrasse is about a 10 minute walk but gives you a great neighborhoody feel w/ lots of little eateries, shops and the like. The first night we ate dinner in old town at a touristy place and I wish we'd explored here instead! Anyway, back to the Bilderberg... rooms are a reasonable price and nicely updated. Overall the location feels central but we also got a quiet night's sleep. Apparently there is a rave across the river most weekend evenings that peters out about 10pm with a fireworks display which we could see from our room. Breakfast was worth the upcharge. Would stay here again or recommend to others.

The breakfast booked is stored in the Italian restaurant next to it, but it does not stop all, since you have direct access from the hotel. We booked the hotel for a night after a concert visit, which went until 22:30. At this time, it seems impossible to have a free seat in the many existing gastronomic facilities around the old market, because everything is occupied. I would have liked to have a sack in the hotel, but it is unfortunately impossible. But whoever doesn't necessarily make it on it, I can only recommend this hotel. A closed box for bicycles available at the house (priced). Unfortunately, there are no car parks at the house, but public parking facilities nearby, e.g. on the terrace (important: EC cards are only available with cash on the chip, use alternative app or have appropriate small money = coins with them). Breakfast either in the Bistro at the house or (priced ) e.g. in the salt gas in the cafe outtime (reservation absolutely necessary!) - alternatively take a pan at the baker (about 5 min. walk) and take a breakfast on the home terrace in the first floor.

|0.23km from city centerWe have checked in with friends and parents for 3 nights. I wrote by mouth months ago that I wish the suites are next to each other or nearby. Unfortunately, it didn't work, although we were already there at 13.30 clock, and the check at only 15 clock. You didn't show any interest in clarifying that. After we were able to get our suites , we were drawn attention by the young man to the fact that we have to pay immediately ( 3 pairs - 6 people ) . We had to indicate our credit card as a guarantee when booking and could not understand why we had to pay immediately. After paying, I went to the Felix Bar, which is part of it. I ordered drinks there. When I wanted to pay, I was asked if I wanted to write it to our suite. I answered that I had to pay everything so urgently at the arrival. I then paid the drinks in cash and I didn't go to this bar with our friends. To coffee .... I asked in advance by email whether we had the coffee capsules in the room. Then I was told that it has a lot of it available in all kinds. We had a xxl suite with 2 bedrooms to four and had tea capsules and only 2 coffee capsules in the room - a great breakfast 🙈 We then bought in the corner of the capsules in the rewe . The room was never controlled all day, waste was full, toilet paper was not enough, etc ... Very bad, the location is great, the facilities are OK, but the staff is untrained and totally unmotivated. Probably the staff of the bar, who then beside a little at the reception will enjoy.

Location, can’t be better, facing the church, get full vision of the street, particularly in the morning when the streets are still quiet and empty. All the highlights are all walking distance. Lots of options of restaurants in the area;
Facility is clean and well maintained, and everything you need is can be found in the room. Suitable for family travel with children as well. We found it very comfortable in the room, and we slept very well. Once the window is closed, you won’t be bothered by the outside sound.
The city is very nice, we are very glad that we spent one night here in such a great place.
