The Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace was stunning. It was, by far, the best and most beautiful hotel in the category that we saw on our 14 trips from 2019 to 2023. The reception was competent, nice and courteous. First they offered us the luggage service. After that we were taken to the elevator and room. The page followed up the stairs. The room, a junior suite deluxe, has a size of almost 65 square meters including the bathroom. In addition to special pieces of furniture, fine wall fabrics, ”terrazzo alla veneziana” and elegant wooden floors create a Venetian flair. The open plan living area with mini bar leads through the sleeping area to the fine marble bathroom with bathtub and shower. Anyone who knows the Doge's Palace knows that the Junior Suite Deluxe also embodies beauty and splendor. The breakfast is good and diverse. The buffet includes bread and rolls, spreads, cheese and sausage, cold dishes such as yoghurt, hot dishes such as sausages, fruit, salad, desserts such as mousse and drinks. Special requests can also be ordered à la carte. The service is quick and courteous. The clean Venetian hotel comes with a heartfelt recommendation.

The hotel is very convenient to Venice's main attractions and can be reached on foot, but Venice's transportation is more expensive. You can only take a water bus from the train station to the hotel. One way 7 & # 183; The hotel itself is in good condition and the breakfast is plentiful, but unfortunately we have to catch the plane the next day, and the breakfast box prepared by the restaurant is very ordinary.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our trip to Italy. The location was excellent, right in the centre of Sorrento. Reception and restaurant staff were so helpful and polite - they couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. The small swimming pool and solarium on the roof were welcome at the end of a hot day and there were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and had quiet air conditioning!! Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a great location near the Academia bridge, between the Grand Canal and the Guidecca. The courtyard and veranda are great for breakfast or a cocktail. The rooms are well appointed but on the small side. The bed is good as are the linens. The bathroom is small but the shower is a good size. The room attendant was cheerful and did a very good job. The negatives are not great customer service. The hotel does not have an iron to lend a guest. The ice machine broke so for 3 days there was no bar service. Breakfast is appealing the first day but then becomes monotonous as it is the same food every day. The ladies who serve you coffee from the push button machine are surly at best if not in some instances down right rude. The hotel struggles to be three stars because of these shortcomings. It could be much better with very little effort.

Water bus is the main means of transportation in Venice. This hotel is close to two railway stations and has a very good location. In addition, the room is very clean, the bathtub is particularly good, and there are two showers. The comfort level is high, but there is no conditioner. The staff is also great, I can stay comfortably! In addition, a luxurious buffet-style breakfast was carried out and I was very satisfied. Luggage storage after check out is also very pleasant. This is a nice hotel, if I come to Venice again, I will want to stay again.

It's one of the best hotels I have been! Not only does it have excellent breakfast🤤, it has very nice and friendly staffs that actually remember you and provide you with the keys even without stating anything. 🙊 They have provided me a room with canal view that allows you a glimpse of the daily of this magical Venice dusk till dawn, sunny or rainy, weekday or weekend. 😍😍 They even provide you a free glass factory visit in Murano on water taxi (if only it wasn't raining so bad on the day I went). Great value, outstanding service, classic Italian quality 🤌🤌

I like it very much and I have recommended it to my friends. The outside of the hotel is very well-maintained, the facilities are very good, there is a very good smell in the air, the service staff is very warm, the breakfast is simple, but it is very particular, and finally eat hot bread. The palatial feel of the room decoration. The wall covering of the full house. Specially designed for Italian decoration. The single room that was occupied on the National Day, more than 800, the price is good. I also came across a wedding photo with a good mood.

What I am most satisfied with is the bedding and the public space is beautiful. Hotel room rates fluctuate a bit every day. Venice is all about walking anyway. We put necessary changes in our backpacks and sent our suitcases to the hotel. Wait until after 15:00 to check if there is a cheaper price. Or wherever you go, if you see a hotel you like, just stay in it. There are so many good new five-star hotels in Venice. You can try more!

I was stayed here for 3 nights. The location is wonderful. Just a few minutes from the train station and a Vaporetto station almost right in front of the door. Bars and restaurants are also in the immediate vicinity. The room ( EZ under the roof ) is very small, spartanian furnished, a sharp stairs and the ceiling is very low so I could not stand up with my 1.80m. The bathroom is small. When you are big or very bodybuilding, it becomes difficult. I hit the knees on the wall when I sat on the toilet. After my arrival, I found hair on the ground and dust that was not only one day old. What I found quite effraying. After I told the host, my room was cleaned immediately and then it was okay. I was given the ”tassa di soggiorn” as an excuse. That was very nice. Sergio was already friendly, but not excessive, as I had already read in other reviews. The famous Italian kindness and kindness I have not experience. Specially excellent is the lovely and handmade breakfast made by Marcella. She is a very nice host who provided me with everything I needed. Also tips that you should have seen. Thank you, Marcella for this. 😊 Venice is an amazing beautiful city and I will certainly come back. But you'll choose another accommodation!

This hotel is advertised as 3 stars, but comes nowhere near to meeting the minimum requirements for 3 stars - It may have been a long time ago but it is definitely not anymore. Staff are not Italian, but from Bangladesh. Communication was an issue - there was only one staff member that worked in the afternoon that could understand English. If you ask them to order you a taxi, they get one of their ”friends” to transport you (which costs more than a normal taxi). The rooms are very small and tired. The bathroom floors are very slippery - my mother fell and hurt herself. Check-in was only available from 3 pm. We arrived on an 11 am flight and were made to wait till 3 pm. There is nowhere to leave luggage securely until check-in. After waiting till 3.30, the cleaner was still busy in the room when we went upstairs to settle in. There is no dining facility (the dining room is closed up). The air-conditioning only operates in the cooler hours of the day - not active between 1 am and 6 am and also between 9 am and 4 pm, which are the hottest parts when needed most and turns off if you open a window and you have to call reception to reset it. It turns off when you leave the room and remove the key. Lots of mosquitoes. We had two different rooms during our stay and both had issues with non-working lights and power points, no bar fridge, and only 1 skinny pillow (more were supplied after multiple requests). There is a lift, but only large enough for one person and a small suitcase. the two of us had to take turns in the lift with our suitcases. There is nowhere in the bathroom to put clothes, toiletries, etc (only one small towel rail and hook) - nowhere in the shower for soaps, etc. Rooms are only serviced (cleaned and re-stocked) every second day. It is convenient to public transport, however, there are very limited and mostly poor eating options in the area. The beds were comfy enough. Only Italian channels were available on the TV in the room.

Liked: Close to airport, but not walkable with a wheeled suitcase, so needed taxi for 20e to travel round the corner. Room was fine for an overnight stop, with a kettle and single sachets of tea/coffee (no milk). Decent bathroom. Ground floor room with French windows onto a very pleasant colonnade, to have drink at from bar in reception (generous measures). Excellent restaurant Ai Do Fogheri opposite. Good soundproofing to outside as went outside with a cup of tea in the morning to find about a dozen people drinking coffee just outside our room. Disliked : No soundproofing from wooden floor above, where guests seemed to be having a party with their suitcases and showering at 03.30, and again at 08.00 so very little sleep. Those rooms described a suites I have been informed are small with a mezzanine and a small double bed. We checked out at 10.30 as requested, and wanted to sit outside with coffees till travelling to meet the rest of our party at the airport, - they could sell us one coffee , but at 11 there was no one available to make us another- which is very poor for a hotel. Phoned for a private taxi for us, but suggested it would be 20/25e, until I made it clear that I would only expect it to be 20e.

So yes, I am giving them 5-stars because of this. The hotel is very accessible to St Mark’s Square, other tourist attractions, and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. No breakfast is offered but lots of shops nearby are already open early morning. The room was fine, internet was fast. The bathroom can be improved though as the shower area is very small. I went on a trip with my daughter and we had the pleasure of staying two nights at the hotel. It starts with the check in, which was warm and welcoming. We were given a small tour and history of the floor we stayed on and then shown our room. WOW - it was spacious, spotless and serene. We had a garden view room and it does not disappoint. The balcony was magical and the tranquil gardens were inviting. The bathroom is huge and comes with Ferragamo toiletries, which smells heavenly and feel as luxurious as you expect. The bed is comfortable and big without feeling overwhelming. The daily breakfast was wonderful. It is not buffet style, which I was happily surprised by. The dining room is not too big, so you would think it would feel crowded and be loud. It was neither. The guest service - being recommended where to enjoy a great meal and then having them make a reservation for you - was appreciated and just that extra touch. I can’t wait to go back.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Porta da Mar Venezia. The location in unbeatable, just a few minutes walking to the Biennale Giardini and Biennale ****nal. Only 15 min walking from San Marco, so you are not in the overcrowded toeristmasses. The Junior suite with Lagoonview was very comfortable. The quality of beds , linen and towels is first class. The bathroom very tastfull and good working, so was the airco. A minibar , coffee and thea fascilities, and everything spotless clean and fresh and new. If the windows are open you have direct awsome view to the water. There is ofcourse some noise from the boats and waterlife, but the windows are very good soundproofing, so we’ve had a very silent peaceful nightrest. Giampaulo, the owner is a most friendly and kind person, and he gave us al kind of info and tips. The small place with only six rooms on the first floor is a real oasis in busy and crowded Venezia. Downstairs there is a litlle bar with terras, so from the early morning till 22.00 u you can go there for a coffee, breakfast, drinks and meals. Very reasonable priced. Compiments for the friendly girl who cleaned our room everyday. Perfect! So we felt very happy at this place, and we can strongly recommend this place. If you are looking for a fine welltasted and goodpriced room on a wonderful location. The Via Girabaldi is just 50 m away with a lot of terrasses and restaurants. We definitely will return. There’s free breakfast provided that’s served by the hotel workers (light pastries and coffee/tea/juice). We had a Jack and Jill room that fit the four of us. There was one restroom and the shower was super small, but we made do. You can hear some of the ambient noises from outside, but earplugs help with that. There’s a 6 euro per person per night charge for the city tax that’s to be paid at the end of your stay. There is luggage storage at the front desk (which was open 24 hours).

We stayed 3 nights in order to visit Venice. The staff are wonderful, polite and helpful. They made us a takeaway breakfast for the airport without us even asking. This place is incredibly good value, Our room was big & had a king size bed. The bathroom had a really powerful shower. Everything was spotless, we had towels changed and the room serviced daily. There is a brilliant restaurant around the corner on Dante Street, good quality food and not expensive. I would recommend this hotel for Venice, the bus is only 2 minutes walk and is very regular. The train station is 10 mins walk. You can get a shuttle bus from the airport for about 8€ and just walk down 1 street to the hotel. The breakfast was ok, croissants, nice fresh bread rolls, yoghurt, juice, cereal. Plenty for a speedy breakfast before an early start in Venice. (Get there as early as you can to beat the crowds and see the massive operation of getting the City into action) The Wifi in the hotel was great. There was a TV with only Italian channels, but it did have music channels as well. This hotel is such a bargain. Enjoy!

My wife and I traveled to Italy for two week in October . Our trip started in Venice and we spent 4 days and 3 nights @ Ca Rialto House Hotel . The hotel in located steps away from Rialto bridge and the water taxi is located steps away form hotel front door The hotel is very old as our most things in Venice , the lobby is nice , the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to to take care of their guest Are room was on the small side , we had 2 Windows that over looked an alley , so not much of view . Room was decorated in traditional Old Italian decor , it was reallnice and I came to appreciate it more and more . We had nice bathroom , shower had lots of water pressure and hot water . The AC worked fantastic I mentioned the room ws on smaller side , but once we organized our suits cases it was more than ample space . We were out all day and if the afternoons we would come back and enjoy our room . The hotel offered a nice breakfast every morning , and there were 2 or 3 restaurants and coffee bars right outside of the front door Hotel is centrally located at rialto bridge , it is an easy walk to San Marks square and other areas of Venice . We venture to the neighborhoods across the Rialto bridge , we found lots of great restaurants and cafes with a lot less tourist .

We had a fabulous welcome from a front of house person and were given a map, some very helpful information and that was very much appreciated. We were helped with our bags to our apartment, settled in and shown where things were. It was a great way to have an additional bed without the cost of an extra hotel room. We were impressed with the lovely European styling of the apartment and excellent facilities - a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave. It was already 11 o'clock in the evening at the airport. I took a bus to the hotel and it was very convenient. It will arrive in five minutes. The hotel room is large. One room and one living room. Can live 4 people, we are more than enough to live. The front desk also has a bus ticket to Venice Island, which is very convenient. This price is at the hotel and the price is very high.

We stayed here for 3 nights early September for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was the first time we’d been to Venice and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Before I write the hotel review, I would like to highlight to travellers that haven’t been to Venice before and perhaps aren’t aware of how the travel works to and from the airport that no cars are allowed onto the Venice island. We weren’t aware of this before we travelled and paid €90 (£80) for a taxi that drops you at the termini. You then head over a very large bridge and walk to your hotel. I would recommend that you take the bus from the airport which takes the same length of time for around €11 (£10). The buses leave the airport terminal frequently. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the termini. I would recommend paying the £2 roaming fees (check price with your network provider) as it would have been impossible to find the hotel without- we arrived quite late at night. We had let the hotel know that we would be arriving late and they arranged for a member of staff to be there to greet us. The hotel is small, with very few rooms, but lovely and very comfortable. Our bedroom had a balcony that looked onto the canal- not sure all rooms do, so definitely ask if this option is available as the view was beautiful in the morning. Although the room also overlooked the streets it was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed. Breakfast was tasty- it was a cold breakfast of cereal, yogurt, meats, cheese, rolls and pastries and the coffee was delicious! There are lots restaurants and bars close to the hotel. You will find that a lot of them around lunch and dinner will not serve drinks only- you will need to search out these places that will. A lot of people tend to head towards the Grand Canal for meals. You will pay extra in these places and to be honest they aren’t as nice as the cute quirky places around the side streets. There is a very small pizza/pasta place with canal side eating, close to the hotel called Al Garzoti. It’s highly rated on trip advisor and was delicious and cheap- it gets very busy so you will need to book. We didn’t take a gondola, but there are plenty of these available. If I remember rightly a 30 minute ride was around €70. We did take one of the boat trips to a couple of the neighbouring islands- I would definitely recommend seeing Burano. The colourful houses and buildings are so pretty! These boat rides are pretty reasonably priced. Enjoy your trip to Venice! :)

We spent 3 nights with my girlfriend in mid-November. We often return to this facility because it is comfortable for anyone who wants to live in Venice and elegant. The bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious enough. The only discomfort the rough stairway to get to the first floor is the discomfort to do with the baggage in hand. For the rest we recommend it to all especially to couples visiting the Serenissima.

This hotel is located in a great part of Venice that is incredibly walkable to all of the big landmarks and to so so many local restaurants. While many reviews say it is hard to find - it is not. Google walking instructions TOTALLY WORK. Look at signs on the buildings - they are small but there. The hotel e-mailed me AND WhatsApp messaged me before the stay to make sure I filled out the visitor paperwork / information they need. The hotel then e-mailed me the codes to get in to the building and our room. They do have someone on site - the house keeper is there in the morning through around 2:00 pm. There is no breakfast that we could see but we did not pay for one. The room was comfortable, the location fantastic, and we were very happy with our stay.
