The quality of breakfast in foreign hotels is not too bad. The highlight of this place is that you can cook eggs and eat the gospel of people who are used to hot food. Can add an extra bed, the room is also good, is the corridor and elevator are very narrow, common problems in European hotels. The geographical location couldn't be better. It is on the left bank facing Notre Dame Cathedral. It goes out to various popular attractions and the subway is saved.

This is the most general hotel in Italy, Switzerland and France. The location is okay. It is tens of meters away from the subway, and you can directly reach the airport from the ete section express line, which is about 100 meters. The room was small, the sofa bed opened into a triple room, the breakfast was average, 16 euros per person, had a meal and did not eat again. Service, he doesn't care much about you. The elevator is particularly fun and old fashioned. The son took a seat and dared not do it again. I'm too lazy to climb the stairs but do it every day. 😂

I stayed at National Day for five nights. There are many restaurants around. The environment is very good and safe. The front desk attitude is also very good. The request for room change is also satisfied. The only thing missing is that I didn’t give slippers, saying that I have to clean the room staff in the morning. It was raised at the time, but we always missed it. The slippers we brought with us were not enough, resulting in a pair of slippers to wear. . 😂

Location, good. View, good. Room, miniscule. Elevator -- tiny, but I think it's substandard because it barely works.... good luck... This is the DUMBEST thing I have ever seen in my life! I have to leave my room key at the front desk EVERY TIME I step outside. And pick it up when I come in. Damn, I'm almost 50 years old and have traveled the world my whole life. I have NEVER seen this stupid, absurd, and ridiculous policy ANYYYYY WHERE. Why is it bad? Let me tell you why. Because it takes TIME to drop off the room key or pick it up EVERY TIME. Because if there's someone at the front desk, I won't interrupt them, naturally, because I'm cultured. OR if the front desk person is on the PHONE, I won't interrupt them, naturally. OR if they are in the back (late night, for example), it takes time for them to see that someone is at the front desk. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, so this criticism is aimed at the person who came up with this most stupid and dumb policy. Please step out into the real world and see how other people do it. Oh, and also, a word of advice for people who want to stay here! -- the EXPENSIVE fancy view of the Notre Dame Cathedral... is the SAME ON PRETTY MUCH EVERY FLOOR... MOST ROOMS see the same thing, and have a great view, so need to spend extra for that room.

This was my second stay at the Parc St Severin and I think this is my favourite Paris hotel. The staff are lovely, from the receptionist to the lady working in the breakfast room. My room was lovely, with a really comfortable bed and lovely old fashioned furniture. The WiFi was good and everything was spotlessly clean. I also liked the scent of the shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast was also very nice and I liked the fact the eggs were cooked to order. The pastries were very nice and so was the coffee. The area is great as the hotel is walking distance to the Pantheon and in the Latin Quarter. It's also convenient for the RER and metro. This was my second visit to this hotel which I would definitely recommend. I would definitely go back.

I do not write reviews so forgive me if I do not go into detail that may go into regular reviews. However, my wife and I chose a Paris trip to get away for a week and neither of us in our life have ever been there. So to Tripadvisor I went along with a few other sites and sight unseen chose this wonderful hotel. It was perfect. Right in the middle of just about everything and whatever was not close by was a train or short Uber trip away. The staff was outstanding from the moment of the reservation until we left. Everyone could not have been more friendly. I am orignally from US my wife from China so needless to say our French is lacking....but that was not a concern. The whole staff from the front desk area...cleaning staff....and kitchen...could not have been more accomodating. They even set up transportation to and from the airport. We took a tour to Normandy which they set up for us and sold us passes that were good for the numerous museums to choose. Food and drink? They serve breakfast if you would like...and it is the same serving each day....but really was awesome all food and drink fresh and delicious. As for other food close by. Take your pick. From a 30 second walk to a 10 minute walk there are restaurants of all shapes and sizes to fill your appetite for food and drink. Has been mentioned that the rooms can get warm....we only were really in the rooms at night and they do get warm....the heater is the only thing that works in the winter....but we opened the windows....yes you can actually open the windows to the outside...and the fresh air was more than enough to cool things down. The room was very clean each day, the bathroom very modern....which I was a little worried about since the building was constructed in the late 1400's.....but no worries there...more modern than my bathroom at home. Hot water and all. The rooms were also beautiful to look at.....they can be a but snug...but for us it was perfect. You don't hang out in your rooms all day anyway when you are in the middle of Paris. The room rates are very competitive in the surroundings. We were just amazed, pleased, and recommend anyone who does not know where to stay or what part of Paris to stay this is it. The staff for us was the icing on the cake. You will not get any better attention staying at some high rise five star name brand hotel. They treated us special from the moment we got there until we left. Thank you, you made a special trip even better because you took many of the worries out of our hands. On our next trip to Paris. There is no other reason for any other hotel to look at we will stay here.

Family of 5 in a junior suite and double room next door with hallway between which could be locked off such that two room doors could remain open and still secure. Welcome : very friendly, swift check in. Rooms were ready for us even though we were quite early (around 1.30pm). Lift : narrowest lift in the world - fine for two standard people at a time, of one with luggage. Very memorable :) Area : on a corner of a very busy mostly pedestrian street near St Michel metro. Windows well soundproofed meant there were no issues with any noise from outside. Few steps from the river, metro, bus stops etc. Decor : very attractive reception, nicely appointed rooms, bathrooms nice and clean, tiny kitchenette in junior suite with coffee maker, fridge, microwave and hot ring. Comfy beds and pillows. Double bedroom was standard size for Paris, Junior suite had small lounge area with sofa bed that was easy to use. Breakfast : taken in the reception of hotel across the street (where checkin occurs also) - really cute and cozy. Low chairs and quite crowded small tables once food is served but it was just fine for us. Really friendly service. Very calm breakfasts served until 11. Lovely fresh pastries and bread plus juices, yogurts, fruit salad, ham/cheese etc. Catered well for our special request of gluten free bread plus dairy free milk. Value for money : wasn’t the cheapest hotel available but we are really glad we spent a little more and chose this one : it was cozy, welcoming, well appointed and with a great position near the river, metro, loads of great restaurants.

We just had the most amazing 6-night stay at Hotel Villa d'Estrees! The staff was a great help from making the reservation to check out. They set up our pick-up at the Airport and return to the airport. Separate charge but worth it. During our stay they gave us advise on restaurants, advised us on how to get to our destinations, and set up our day trip to Normandy. The room was beautiful! The Hotel gorgeous! Location is perfect! Hotel Henri IV Rive Gauche I am indeed an avid fan of this hotel, not only for its location but the people that made so much of difference on our stays. This is the 2nd time we have returned to them, despite last minute changes to our hotel booking, and the choice was still to go back to this fellas. What can I say about this place? For most of the reviews giving 4/5 stars the hotel, they are true. For us, it’s the sense of belonging and how this hotel, still was in Aug19, created a home away from home ambience. How do I know? My kids felt right at home and we are not French speakers. This says a lot, and in the minimal correspondences with the Pantry/Kitchen during breakfast time, or hailing for a cab to send us around town, or even getting recommendation for nearby food eateries, the people working here made the those difference for us. The attractions nearby, the morning Sunday bell ringing from the opposite Catholic church, the impromptu dancing of whom I believe to Latin American people 1 street away, just gave such zest to the place. Mind you, at this point of time, we could not access to the Notre Dame due to fire, and yet we fitted in like a glove. So the entire location creates that ambience, and when we return to the hotel – arhhhh it really was like home. We had 2 rooms, yes because we booked late hence we couldn’t get back the old room, but it was very manageable. The rooms were comfortable, the girls had a jolly time doing girly stuff while the boys hung out and just chatted. We had the windowed rooms and we could just gaze onto the busy street, and people watch. Isn't that what you also do when you are in Paris? People watching ... Everything in the rooms were working. The beds were soft and great comfort for rest after a full day of galivanting in the city. The services were great – we made so many friends with the front desk and whilst at night, there was an elderly man greeting us with such warmth. Pertaining to professionalism, I thought they are very sensible and professional in all their dealings. Not that I want to brag, the hotel was fair enough to refunded me for the nights that we could not stay due to trip curtailment, and I have always been grateful for them to be so. Of course, if it’s a non-refundable rate, I would not have expected them to return – but they extended that very kind gesture to us, then. I always ask myself, how do I give a fair and decent review especially it’s all matter of angles - I would ask myself if I would return to this hotel despite having to invest a lot of money and missed out on trying other hotels. For that, I know I will always want to return to this hotel, anytime we are in Paris. There is absolutely nothing to complain about them. I hope to see you again, sometime in the future – where COVID19 won’t impact the world anymore. Au revoir et à bientôt!

The room is actually ok, not very small (if you have lived in a European hotel, friends should know that the room is very small), should not be an extra bed, air conditioning, wifi, relatively new, clean bathroom, bath water is also very Big. The location of the hotel is good, go out and take a small street is the Seine River, about five minutes walk from Notre Dame Cathedral, next to the subway, travel is very convenient! Overall, I think it is quite good. It is best to live on the 2nd floor, the 3rd floor is the attic, the top is slanting, a little depressed

We just finished up staying here for 6 days and could not be happier. The room was exactly as we expected, smaller than some but it was a decent size and not cramped, best of all it was very clean! The staff in the hotel are so lovely, very friendly and willing to help. The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are large and clean, new, and the public order is good. The hotel lobby is a glass sliding door. You need to swipe your room card to enter. The room was flat with 2 large boxes without pressure. The toilets are also very large. There are 2 sets of L'Occitane in a house, and a large bottle of mineral water is given away. Walk to the LV main store for 2 minutes, and make early purchase without pressure. It only takes 2 minutes to the Hermes George Avenue branch, and Bulgari is also nearby. If you want to buy luxury goods, you can put it back in the hotel before you continue. Do n’t worry about safety. 7-8 minutes walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. The only bad thing is that the front desk called me at 10 o'clock in the morning on the day of check-out. This is a bad experience ... The hotel can help call a taxi to the airport. The hotel said the price was basically the same. The cafeteria and gym are located in B1. There is a Royal Treasure in the hotel, not sure if it is the same as Shanghai.

Such a great experience to be here. Easy to get to from the train station. Actually all subways in Paris are easy to navigate. The hotel is really close to everything, Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triumph. And lots of Brasseries. Markets, bakeries and coffee shops. A safe neighbourhood. The room was great. Very comfortable beds. A breakfast is only $10EU each daily, far more cost effective than buying outside the hotel. Save your money for lunch or dinner. Lovely staff, so very friendly and helpful. This is a family owned and managed hotel. We'll go back here for sure.

I stayed at this hotel during my first trip to Paris in the 1990s. I continued to stay there every year until 2005, when I stopped traveling to Europe for a few years. In 2018 I returned to Paris and Hotel Emile under its new ownership. They had really done a lot to spruce up the hotel even before COVID 19. My husband and I love this hotel because of its great location. The metro is just across the street. There is a great cafe downstairs on the corner and a grocery store, pastry shop, boulangerie, fromagerie, librarie, etc. all within less than a 10 min walk. It is on the edge of the Marais, the best place in Paris for night time wanderings, in my opinion. And best of all, the hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a real warmth and family feeling at the hotel. I wouldn't change Hotel Emile for the Hotel Charles V!

A very cute hotel. We were in the bottom room, with windows that opened to the street. It was a little loud first thing in the morning or when other guest were rowdy due to being located right next to the lobby, but overall that was only the most minor of things we noticed. The bathroom was fantastic- heat towel rack, quality products, wonderful hot water/high pressure. Lots of closet/storage space. Seperate WC. the room was larger than we expected as well. Front desk was so friendly- greeted us each time we arrived, and were able to provide us ice on request (I tore my acl just before the trip, so needed ice regularly after a day of touring). I loved the writing desk in the morning sun- although the view was of the sidewalk, the transparent curtains we perfect for allowing in light while softening the view. The windows both had shutters inside to block out light/sound, and enough still space you could sit and read a book. Location was ideal...the Montmartre area is wonderful. Very close to the Blanche metro line, a short walk to two others. Although just two blocks from Moulin Rouge, absolutely no issues with noise or crazy crowds at night- in fact, it meant some great street food places were open late! Very near to bakeries, fruit stands cheesemonger, easy to grab something quick if you needed. Several cafes a stone throw away with perfect breakfasts and coffee. Near to Van Gough's apartment. A beautiful stroll to the love wall, sacred heart, dali museum and artist square- and thays with me being hobbled with my completely torn ACL! There is a secret food tour that starts and ends in the same area as the hotel to give you an idea of how wonderful all the nearby choices are for eating. 12/10 stay, would definitely stay at this location again. Lovely and clean hotel conveniently located just below Montmartre. The staff is very nice and helpful and managed to resolve all questions I might have had. The decor is quite nice, it has a cozy feeling. The breakfast is quite lovely, nice selection of french goodies, so definitely a plus. The only downside is reflected in the location: if you go to central Paris, you often go small for this price. So a single room gets the fun part of not being able to properly unpack my small hand luggage and the elevator is definitely designed for slender crowd. Would recommend and would stay again.

Excellent location, with 5, 6, 7 subways crossing. The room is small and basically adequate. For Chinese guests, the biggest benefit is that it is close to the Chinese community, Chinese restaurants and supermarkets have more choices, and apartment hotels with kitchens can also cook their own meals. The disadvantage is that the front desk of the hotel is slightly rigid. The air conditioner in my room does not heat, and the warranty for 2 days has not been resolved. The hotel is conveniently located close to the subway station. From Charles de Gaulle Airport, take the RER line B to Denfert-Rochereau, change line 6 to Cambrinne, exit the station and walk past the traffic lights. The road on the left can see the Ibis hotel sign. There is no elevator or escalator on this section of the subway line 6 of Denfert-Rochereau. You have to carry your luggage up and down. Do not take Line 6 when returning. From the hotel, take a taxi to Denfert-Rochereau (approximately 7 minutes, 19 euros, 20 yuan). Denfert-Rochereau has an elevator to the airport RER line, so you do n’t have to carry your luggage up and down Off! Taxi in Paris is expensive, if the locals are at the airport-hotel, take a taxi to and from it * o * Next to the subway station there is a bakery and a small shop selling Kebab (Kebab, Middle Eastern food), which are all delicious! (Put a few photos of Kabab Kebab). The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is spacious with Cafe and bar. If you can't sleep at night, you can go downstairs for a cup of coffee or a small wine, which is very comfortable. The room is small, 12 square meters. When I returned to Paris and lived next to the Lyon train station in Paris, I could n’t help feeling that Paris was more than just land and gold, and hotel details were well done. For example, the double-layer sound insulation glass is really impossible for the capitals of too many countries. Things, such as Beijing and Athens I just went to At the front desk, you can see the platform of the train that is about to leave and whether it is on time. The supermarket is very close downstairs. The Ibis conditions are quite good, but the surrounding environment is too bad. When we heated the food at the front desk, because of the large amount of luggage, we managed poorly. We didn’t know when someone had taken a bag and was stolen some cash. One person ran back sweating and said that he saw someone taking our bag and he was chasing it back. Then we checked that the cash was gone. But the two of us were too stupid, and thanked each other. Later, the people around me should be the thief... Then we contacted the hotel right away, the hotel expressed anger, but we finally had no right to monitor even the monitoring, who did not know who to take How to get it, can't recover it. Although there are a lot of French policemen around the market looking at the market, everyone said it was useless. . Advantages. - Situated on Rue de Lyon near railway station. Close to Ledru Rollin metro station. Not far from Bastille square. - Hotel is very fresh because of its transformation from Adriatic Hotel to Locomo Hotel. Disadvantages - I payed for my stay a week before and had confirmation. But when I came to hotel, I needed to pay extra costs (taxes) - plus 5,64 euro. It could be more convenient to pay once, not two times. - Sound insulation could be better – you hear what your neighbor doing. Two nights I often was awake because of sounds of conditioner which switched on and off. - The outlet in the bathroom was poorly mounted. It was obvious after finishing drying hair. Also cabin walls were not convenient. - Not convenient elevator due to extra ladder steps on ground floor and upper floors Also I could not immediately find hangers but there were in the room. So I found them a little bit later. But I was satisfied with the hotel despite these disadvantages

I picked this hotel because I was flying into Paris one evening and needed to put my daughter on an early morning train the following day at the Gare de Lyon. We didn't want to be far from the Gare so I chose this hotel because it was right next to the station. As you leave from the station's main exit, it is about 1 and 1/2 city blocks to the left. I requested a standard room with two beds and our room had separate beds, was spacious, exactingly clean and was on the fifteenth floor which meant that we had an incredible view of Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the distance to the right. The Seine was right in front of us. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I've lived in New York for many years and I couldn't imagine in my wildest dreams having similarly nice lodgings one block from NYC's Penn Station. The staff was courteous and helpful. The nightly rate was very reasonable. If I ever need a hotel for a one night stay in Paris I would definitely return here.
