Stopover after an Indian Ocean cruise ending in La Reunion before flying home to the UK. Decent room and good size with a good bathroom. Strong aircon. Breakfast average but ok coffee. Helpful reception staff. Beers and soft drinks available to buy and drink in the covered terrace area. Staff also have postcards and stamps so I got a few to send home. Call ahead if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage as no lift in the ‘front block’ but we just about managed to haul out cases up. Staff kindly looked after luggage on arrival pre check in and on departure as a late flight. Very central location with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The cathedral area especially had great eating spots. La Reunion can be expensive for food so have a look around. There is a big supermarket on Rue St John. Close to the airport in a 15 ride. Again, taxis are expensive on this Island. You can bus it but a haul of luggage over several blocks in the heat did not appeal. Good place for a night or two. You could use it as an island base but limited parking so a call ahead would be needed.

We had been on Reunion for 3 days and had planned on staying outside St Denis for our last night but became aware of the Yellow vest protests and the possible disruptions and so decided to stay closer to the airport. Unfortunately, the Hotel we had stayed in our first night was full and so began our hunt for a place to sleep. Thankfully Le Juliette was our second stop and whilst originally they too were full the receptionist ‘Romy’ was amazing and started phoning around the town and gave us access to the hotel wifi. It soon became clear there were no options and then Romy insisted she would change a booking for a single person and give us their double room... we were overwhelmed and felt she was so kind, thoughtful and went very much beyond what we would expect from a Hotel where we didn’t even have a booking. The Hotel itself is lovely too. Old style with lots of character but beautiful touches and all the other staff we dealt with were also kind and helpful. We have travelled to over 50 countries each and last night Romy’s act of kindness was exceptional and one of a kind. This is before the awesome Hotel she works in which again is up there with the Best of the best.

I stayed only for a night and I paid 65€ and online was from 35€ but i get only a hole. It was dirty, mold everywhere, the AC was broken and for that they said sorry and gave me breakfast(coffee, butter, jam and a croissant),for Wi-Fi I had to pay. It's the worst place I've been. They don't speak English. I do not recommend this place.I put a photo below, that's the entire place captured in a picture.

Be sure to remember to bring a toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, kettle, power adapter, here is the European socket. Also, if you are swimming, remember to bring a swimsuit. In addition, smoke and food are expensive, remember to bring tableware, at least you can eat instant noodles, better than eating outside, I feel that the restaurant is expensive and unpalatable. The beach is relatively close, but there are no beaches, all of which are pebbles.

Excellent hotel in a quiet area of St. Denis. The receptionist spoke English, offered me a welcome drink and a porter carried my bag to my room. The hotel is built on several levels and there are lifts. The room was big and clean as was the bathroom. There was complimentary water, a mini-bar and free wifi.. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was very good. The hotel is out of town but there is a good view. I stayed here on two separate occasions.

Stayed on the last day of Saint-Denis, not far from the airport, the hotel was comfortable, breakfast was good, there was a swimming pool, there was an underground garage, the sea view in the distance was beautiful, and bus 5678 at the door could sit around the city. The previously booked hotel Lannex66 was too bad and changed this hotel decisively.

The location of the hotel is close to the sea, you can walk to swim. The breakfast was good. The staff is enthusiastic and the restaurant is good. It's just that there is no elevator, the house is too small, and the bathroom is relatively small. Our two big boxes almost couldn't be opened.

5 days here to travel througth the Reunion. We were upgraded to studio which was really great, i cant imagine to stay in original tiny room. So consider this. Studio is on two floors and provide a lot of space. We had no chance to use the pool, which is quite huge. Service at the desk was also ok and recommended good restaurant. There is no chance to have dinner in the hotel, but there is bakery and pizza man around the corner. On the other hand there is not much around the hotel and hotel entrance looks like a mass. This may dissaponted some people. Next time i would try something closer to the beach and the night life.

Prime location for your Reunion Island adventure. The hotel is directly on the swimming lagoon - one of the only safe swimming beaches on the island with crystal clear warm sea and basic snorkeling capabilities. Staff are so friendly and helpful, two pools to choose from and a la Carte restaurant available only at lunch during our stay. Breakfast and all dinners are buffet only - but out the beach gate, walk left and you’ll find two great restaurants La Manta and La Marmite as well as some street food options. Supermarket and ATM also a short walk in the other direction, you have to explore to find as little information provided on site and our French was not good enough for conversation! Booked all excursions at the tourism office in St Gilles just a quick bus ride away as nobody available at the hotel activity desk during our stay. All in all, a great 5 night stay for a base in Reunion island.

We stayed here as a base for exploring the island, though if you want to see everything there will inevitably be some long drives as the roads go round the outside of the island and a limited number into the centre. For the grade and price of hotel we thought this was great. Comfortable rooms, everything convenient, fridge, good shower. Some rooms have more updated facilities than others. The soundproofing from the siding door windows, with the blackout curtains gave good sound and light insulation, and we found our ground floor poolside rooms very quiet and convenient. Lots of noisy pool activity during the day, but that is to be expected. It is not a 5* resort Hotel, so not fair to review it as such! Breakfast, served on the terrace overlooking the pool, was fine, a selection of fresh breads, the usual hotel breakfast buffet (no short-order fresh egg cooking - scrambled eggs available in the buffet) Gym, a table football table, jaccuzzi all available. Nice comfortable seating around the pool area in the evening after the pool was closed, very quiet. There isn't enough parking in the car park but there is plenty on-street just outside the gate. A very short stroll to an excellent supermarket, bars, café, restaurant and beach. Staff on the front desk were helpful and friendly and 3 of the 4 we spoke with were competent in functional English - able to advise on places to go etc.
