The worst thing is that the noise is mainly caused by the reception staff. It is a low grade hotel so I had brought earplugs just in case there would be noise. Room is otherwise clean and aircon/water heater ok good working condition. Hardly any car parking space despite being advertised as a hotel with parking. This is a serious consideration. I most likely will be checking out other options for my next trip to Penang.

I read the reviews before choosing this hotel, and I was very worried because one or two negative reviews caused me to hesitate. But in the end I chose this one for the small refrigerator. After entering the room, I found that all the furnishings were good, the room was clean, and there was no odor, except for the toothbrush and hair dryer, everything else. I took photos one by one. You can refer to the pictures. Actually, it is not like some Negative reviews are written so badly. The hotel also has free parking spaces and is also supervised. The front desk staff was very patient. Staying here for one night, I still have to be comfortable, that is, check out opposite around 5:00 early in the morning, noisy in the corridor, affecting the rest. But it was only a short while. Overall very satisfied.

Hotel location is relatively good to call the city center, go to the mural street, shopping center, etc. are not expensive around 8 MYR, taxi to the airport for about half an hour, because it is a bit of a hotel hotel is not too conspicuous but pay attention to the house number 26 The number can still be found smoothly, and the local Chinese around us are also kindly guiding us. The front desk Indonesian girl and the Chinese female store manager are very nice, the accommodation is affordable and there is a simple breakfast, there are many snacks around, but the toothbrush toothpaste shampoo or something that is not provided please prepare yourself. It is also important to raise the praise because the handwritten letter that was bought in a hurry when I went to the airport fell to the hotel. The staff also sent the things to the airport to us. Since they had passed the security check, they did not receive a phone call, although they did not take it at the end. But my heart is still full of moving! I will definitely recommend it to my friends and have the opportunity to go to Penang and stay at this hotel!

We checked in the hotel for 2 nights. Though room size is small but it is clean and comfortable. I have to say the it is hard to find small Inn offer such a good quality bed. We had a good night sleep after a long day activities. There is a roof top terrace that offering good city view and cosy to sit down at the evening or early morning to enjoy the breeze. The Inn is location at Lorong Selamat where there are few famous hawkers food like char koay teow, laksa, ice kacang & etc just few doors away. Further walking you can find more eatery at Macalister road or Burma road. It is conveniently located at the city center. Mr. Cheah, the person in charge is a very friendly man. He gave advice to us where to eat and what are the interesting places to visit. For the room rates we paid, we find it is worth the value and will definitely come back to stay here again when visiting Penang.

Convenient location. Very new and clean room. Size is pretty small but sufficient for a temporary stay for one person. Love how they don’t give plastic bottled water. Instead, they use refillable glass bottles so less plastic waste and you can always take and drink more water without having to buy more bottled water from the hotel or the store. They also don’t take the per night tourist tax that i have heard most hotels in malaysia charge when you check out. So all in all, very nice. I had a great experience.

The location is close to Loh Guan Lye hospital, laundry, pharmacy, 2 supermarket, and not easy to find food around hotel. They have water dispenser in every level so you can take hot and normal water whatever you want. The housekeeping was working good to clean our room. The receptionist at front quite friendly. This hotel was great value for your money!

If it is during the Spring Festival peak season, due to the arrival of a large number of Chinese, you can understand that your price has risen to about 800, but my stay time is during the ************** after the Spring Festival. This kind of non-descript Republic of China style homestay also dared to sell for 800 with tax. It's a bit unreasonable, because after being misled by the comment area and the price of almost 800 a night was set for two nights, I resolutely moved to the hotel, and honestly, no matter from service, location, hardware, environment, breakfast (there is only one breakfast) Order by one person, very simple for 3 years old children are not free), up to 400

This is a newly opened hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, very quiet, and free parking at the door. The most important thing is that the boss is very nice, very enthusiastic and speaks Chinese! The location is also top-notch, it is easy to find, and there is a big night market at the door. I'm here to travel. The cause of the epidemic will not go away for a while. I have lived here for a while and I feel very good. I highly recommend it

The hotel is too amazing, just in the heart of the old town of Georgetown, it is too convenient to eat, drink, and play. The hotel is clean and spotless, and can't find a dust. The hotel was bought by a Singaporean owner and transformed into a hotel. The hotel was renovated from a large Chinese house 200 years ago. The owner retains the traditional Chinese architectural style and decoration, and has a semi-outdoor large bathroom with a tropical feel. a feeling of. Breakfast is ordered by yourself. It can be delivered to the room or in the restaurant of a very large Chinese-style family. We are delivering the meal to the room. The breakfast is very rich and fresh. It feels very interesting to send it with a donkey. The front desk service was very thoughtful and almost didn't give us a squat service. The hotel also had a free morning tour. An English and Chinese waiter accompanied us to visit Georgetown for breakfast for an hour, introducing us to history and culture, introducing various snack shops. ,so perfect.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is very small, two boxes can not be opened flat in the house. Going to the surname bridge, murals, museums and supermarkets are very close. There is a net red coffee outside the hotel, you must try it. The hotel started to take off your shoes from the door and it was clean. The black brother at the front desk is very enthusiastic. I will give you an introduction to the game. It will not be Chinese or English. Hotel breakfast is average, very small variety, coffee bread slices. Overall praise.

Upon arrival At 12.30pm, before I couldnt even ask, the guy at the front desk said check in 2pm. A few minutes later when I asked if there was somewhere I can leave my luggage, I was given a key to my room. The room had dust and broken cement at every corner, the cupboard smelled awful and the toilet/bathroom had no ventilation at all. The bathroom was new, but the tiles were slippery when wet. No ventilation meant the hot steam from the shower had nowhere to go, that also meant some odours had nowhere to go too. The hotel is opposite a futsal court, be prepared for shouting till at least 2am. There was no laundry facilities and breakfast was a joke. We are still having a stomach ache from it. Dont take rooms on the ground floor, inconsiderate people talk on the phone next to your window all the time. We ended up banging on the windows asking them to move.. Disappointing stay to say the least.

It is not far from Little India, Mural Street and Surname Bridge. There are not many breakfast varieties, but the waffle cakes are quite delicious and the service is very good. A Chinese lady with glasses is very nice. On the last day, we rushed to the plane Thank you very much for starting breakfast at 6 o'clock in advance. In terms of facilities, the hotel is very new, and the size of the room is not a problem, but the sink in our room 314 leaks. Although the leak is slow and does not spread, it is always uncomfortable and I hope to repair it in time.

The breakfast is relatively simple, just like the stomach, one egg, two slices of bread, two hams, a cup of coffee. There are no slippers in the room. Pay attention to your own. The front desk is Chinese and speaks Mandarin. The owner of the commissary on the side of the hotel is also Chinese. He can take the plane and send it to Penang Airport for only 20 MYR. The room is not soundproof, the TV next door can be heard, and there are too many motorcycles. The room on the side of the road is a bit noisy. The location is not bad. There are supermarkets around the walk. The Chinese-run shopping malls have Hunan cuisine. You can walk to Little India, surname bridge, gallery and other places. The feeling of China in the 1970s.

The former residence of Zhang Shishi is a little far from the attractions in the center of Georgetown, but it is acceptable. When I wandered around the door, I also met the cats who had been wearing the Elizabeth Circle. The hotel is very quaint, the decoration of the hotel room is quite a combination of ancient and modern, even the keys are old-fashioned bronze. The living experience is good. The three-person room we set is very large, but there is no need to live simply because we want to visit, because the place to visit is not particularly attractive, it is a typical Nanyang style building. There are not many breakfast styles and the taste is just as good. The reception staff's service attitude is not bad, only English communication, but the other one is just like the general, I feel very impatient.

Hotel location and environment are ok. But I have to remind that there are often no waiters in the hotel, especially at night. I arrived at 8 o’clock in the evening. I closed the door and no one rang the doorbell. I ran to the next door and asked if there was any way to contact the hotel, but it didn’t work. Finally, I looked for Ctrip and found the hotel owner for more than an hour before moving in. Seriously affect the travel mood, so please pay attention to staying in this hotel.

We chose to stay at Wifi Boutque Hotel for 2 nights while we were in Penang and it turned out to be a great decision. We had a memorable stay due mostly to how well the staff took care of their guests. The hotel is near KOMTAR so you can easily take a single bus from the airport to KOMTAR for under 3 Ringgit and a short walk. Grab car is under 20 Ringgit which is also a good option as long as the traffic is not too busy. There are a number of malls near the hotel and also some hawker centres that served really good food. It is also close to the free CAT bus route if you don't want to walk. One of the amenities at the hotel is free use of their 2 bicycles. We were able to ride around Penang with no issues and enjoyed the convenience of riding. We also visited the Bicycle museum that is free to guests and saw some truly unique bicycles in their collection. The rooms are clean and the staff was more than willing to deliver anything that we needed (very quickly too). During our brief stay, we met the manager and assistant manager and they took the time to recommend places for us to visit and eat at. We even met the owners who happened to be at the hotel and they also treated us very well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Penang.

The hotel is relatively new and the location is good, just next to the Everbright Building. Breakfast is a set meal for each person, avoiding waste, which will lead to inefficient meal delivery. The facilities in the room were normal, and the check-in at the front desk was very rigid, saying that the check-in was at 2:30, and the room was not even available at 2:24. Penang is small and the weather is hot. The location of the hotel makes it convenient for us to return to the hotel several times a day to replenish drinking water, drinks and lunch breaks.

A wonderful experience was all I could describe of my stay in this historical 150 years old property. The room was clean and bathroom was spotless. The owners took pain to retain most of the original structure. The decor and finishing were reflective of the historical era. Just love the charming courtyard. I actually spent quite a bit of time having coffee and working on my lappy at one of the alcoves while listening to the water feature at the corner. What makes it most wonderful was the hospitality of the 2 caretakers - Chee and Chris. These two individuals were wonderful and were graceful hosts to the boot! Highly recommended for those who are on a look out for something different. The only flip is if you are an au naturelle sleeper and tends to wake up in the middle of the night for a wee pee. The bathroom is about 8 paces outside from your bedroom... Room rate wise, I paid less than a RM100/night through a booking platform. Certainly worth it.

Location was good near the jetty and walking distance to all sights but hotel is not ideal if you have mobility issues as there are 30 steps to climb to the first floor and double that for second floor. Check in is actually the shop cashier.. it took me a while to figure it out. You will be carryong all your stuff to your room as there is nobody available to help, so pack light. The room was of a good size but nothing like the picture of the Deluxe room I had booked. Room is ok need a repair here and there but well equipped including kettle and iron. Bathroom is strange... if you take a shower you flood the whole bathroom as there is no shower curtain or cubicle. Make sure you make nbr 1 , nbr 2 or combo before taking your shower. Overall is fair balance of a budget hotel vs cost, nothing more nothing less.

The good: Free breakfast that was light & easy to kickstart the day, clean rooms & nice functional bathroom. Parking was scarce at this area but the limited free parking provided was sufficient during my off-peak stay. There was a lift even for a 2 storey building which was convenient. Great tv channels but not sports. The hotel is located closed to many interesting places. The bad: the card was wrongly configured upon check in and was not able to enter the room in my first attempt. Had to get it re-configured. Parking space provided is limited but functional, however may need to cooperate with other guests if your car is blocking others. Breakfast can be improved slightly. The bar next door has a great happy hour but was misinformed that there would be live band performing on wed,fri & sat nights. Went on a sat night but was disappointed, no live band. Requested for a hairdryer but wasn't sent to the room on first night. Tried again the next day, and finally got it. Light sleepers may find it hard to sleep at night and to an extend a little annoying for loud motorcycles and cars outside. The windows sealed shut but the sound from the street is still extremely loud. Not to forget, i ordered a dinner set on one of the night and when it came to dessert, the chocolate indulgence was moldy. They apologised and replaced it with a nice mango pudding. Stayed 2 nights and was tired, hence had a peaceful sleep. It was annoyingly noisy at night due to the traffic. I'd give this hotel 3.5 star for its potential to improve their shortcomings.

Stayed 4 nights the facilities are basic - it’s behind an eyelash/ hair cut place and so literally just has rooms and bathrooms, no kitchen area as such just does offer free filtered water & a drinks fridge to buy from. Check in was chaotic but I don’t think they were the regular staff on when I checked in, my bed had to be made right then and there. Bathroom is basic but hot showers are a bonus. No laundry service but they do point you in the direction of a launderette if need be & it’s in a very good location for food and all the little tourist shops to get souvenirs from They only have small lockers available so can’t find your whole bag in there and you must provide your own padlock Air con was VERY cold - jumper was needed
