The location is excellent. Next to Pub Street/Old market. There are many super markets, lovely restaurants and exchanges.  Amenity:  coffee sachet, tooth brush, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner TV is equipped but no connection when I stayed. Towel, bathrobe are provided. AC works excellently. Wi Fi speed is great, I had no issue. A Hair dryer is provided. There is a safe box but I didn't use it. Shower has no issue. Water pressure is OK and there is hot/warm water running. There is no elevator. (3 storey hotel) There is a smoking space. The Swimming pool is cool. If you don't hang the ”clean the room” sign on the door, no one will clean your room. If you want daily cleaning service, you should hang it. If someone on the same floor bangs the door, it really echoes, you might find it noisy. My first night was actually noisy because some guests were chatting on the corridor. No breakfast is served as of March 2022. The restaurant isn't functioning due to the aftermath of COVID-19. You might be able to buy canned drinks or bottled beer, though. There is a cafe (Bakong) close to the hotel that is open at 0630AM. There is coffee stand just in front of hotel  (US$1, latte) but I can't tell what time they are open. Early enough, though. There is a local eatery right next to the hotel, which is open at 0700AM. That is where you can try borbor, which is a typical Khmer breakfast. They can arrange tours. (pls see the picture I post) If I can raise a request, I wish I had one more bedside table or regular desk in the room.  I had a great promotion in Agoda to book the hotel. I enjoyed my stay here pretty much. Unfortunately I had no view from my room as the next apartment(house) was right next to the window. :D but no worries, excellent roller blind is equipped, you have totally privacy.

Great location for going to Pub Street. There is a cafe on the first floor, and the receptionist was very kind. It may be unavoidable considering the cost performance, but some people may be concerned about the fact that there is no refrigerator, there is only one outlet, and there was a sound that sounded like machinery operating all night long. I don't know.

I have difficulty to find the hostel as it doesn't have a big signboard or anything but just a small signboard in front of the hostel. Location is just opposite the pub street along the main road. Check in is a smooth process. The hostel is over my expectation and it is one of the best I have ever stayed. It is cheap and with all that you need for a stay. The hostel is with a lobby where you can sit down and chit chat with your friend. It has a small cafe? Pantry? area inside cafe with tables and chair. But it is closed due to the COVID. To my suprise, they have an entertainment room with TV and nice bean bag where you can watch Netflix too. What is more, it has a swimming pool! All the bunk bed come with a curtain for privacy. It has locker underneath the bed. It come with clean towel and blanket. There is shampoo and body shampoo inside the toilet. Even the hair dryer is prepared. What else I will say? I hope they will run in business long with such affordable price and this will be the hostel I will be staying whenever I come to Siem Reap. Keep up the good job and stay in business.

Very happy with my choice and stay the rooms are comfortable they are well appointed. Everything that you need to stay a night or stay a week is included. A very nice swimming pool to enjoy after a long day exploring. The front reception area is open and easy to access and the staff is very helpful. Especially July the hotel manager. She made sure whatever we needed was seen too. July gave us many great suggestions. We also used the staff to book a couple of our excursions and our bus fare home. I will book again when I return. This hotel honors Visa which is a real plus for American Travelers.

This was a very good value stay. The only downside was having to not just preorder breakfast but also pick a time which was inconvenient in unplanned days. The staff were friendly and always smiling, although some front desk staff were hard to communicate with, not sure on basics questions like 'can I have a pool towel?' they were all quite young and enthusiastic thought so hopefully this will improve with time. The rooms were nicely fitted and clean, although we didn't really use the little patio due to mosquitoes. Pool was very nice and refreshing with comfortable loungers. The location couldn't be better. Very close to pub street but not noisy (on the ground floor anyway). Lots of eateries etc nearby

Been to this old chestnut a few times over the years. Good thing is, it doesn’t change. You know what to expect. It is still good value for money IMO. Coming from a 5 star hotel a few days earlier in Bangkok I new what to expect. Bed was hard but sleepable, shower nice and hot, the small step down from the bathroom into the room will get you every time lol, the tv on the wall is only their for aesthetics, aircon works fine, no elevator but I prefer the exercise anyway. Be very careful walking down the stairs as there is very poor lighting. The pool area is really nice considering the hotel standard. No fault of the hotel but the noise on the street is ridiculous! Doff, doff going until 4-5 am full on every night by the mobile disco/bar. I can’t believe the police allow this to happen! I feel sorry for the hotels surrounding because they lose customers. Will probably stay again next time I find myself in SR because it is so convenient. Staff are always casual and pleasant. Cheers

Location is good, just to the old market. Arrived at bus ８ Dollar ＋ Tuk Tuk １ Dollar from the new airport. There is a motorcycle rental shop nearby. There were only stairs, and I was on the ５ floor in Japan, so even if I bought a little, I ended up climbing the ５ floor stairs. I think that those with weak legs must give hope to the lower floors. Also, the room is large, but the rain leaked or some of the room was wet, and the socks were wet without notice. I didn't change the amenities on the first day and asked them to change it, but here again, the stairs of ５ floors (tired) occurred. ２ On the day, cleaning and amenities were replaced, but the floor of the toilet was soaked that I didn't notice it and my socks got wet again. As a result, I was washing it almost every day. And the shower is quite wet. Also, the steps on the stairs are not uniform, so it seems to kick. However, if you don't say luxury, you can stay in a private room cheaply, so I think it will be a good stay if you divide it.

The Villa you should stay when visiting Siem Reap. The staff are so incredibly nice and ready at all times to help you with anything you may need. They and helped organize day trips for us, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The little swimming pool but okay. I would recommend Bou Phanith Villa!! Amazing experience!!

Cooler is made in Japan Important in Cambodia Staff who can respond in Japanese are all around, so students can remove intercultural anxiety. This is one of the friendliest places I've ever stayed at. Me and my 11 year old son arrived for the first time in Cambodia and the manager couldn't not have done any more to make us feel welcome. He arranged a transfer from the airport and showed us to our A/C with fan room. They helped so much with tuk tuk to the the temples. Where to eat and get about. Beautiful children filling the foyer with laughter. Practically as well it is in an excellent location. Tucked away off the street and walking distance to any of the action/food/shopping or just walking and talking. Felt very safe and wish we had planned a longer stay. Jonathan and Monty UK

Séjour en famille dans cette magnifique villa aux proportions grandioses et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Les 3 autres villas sur site étaient louées au mois, et les résidents très discrets. Le jardin est magnifique et entretenu avec goût par les employés. La literie est très confortable. La cuisine dispose d’un équipement basique permettant de réchauffer des plats (micro ondes, gazinière avec casserole), de se faire un café (cafetière avec filtre) ou un thé (bouilloire). Il y a une petite échoppe en face de l’entrée des villas. Le site est placé un peu en périphérie de Siem Reap, au calme mais facilement accessible et surtout dans un quartier très vivant (lycée, universités) et agréable pour découvrir le mode de vie cambodgien. On peut facilement relier à pied (ou en tuk tuk) le centre ville de Siem reap (environ 15 mn à pied). Il y a beaucoup de petits restos et mini markets dans cette avenue. Des petits déjeuners sont servis directement tous les matins dans la villa mais pas possible d’ajuster le menu : découverte chaque matin (sandwichs surimi, oeufs bacon pommes de terre, salades de fruits …). Enfin, la piscine est juste parfaite tant pour les enfants que pour les adultes…

The pool is amazing and has an awesome waterfall and bar attached. The rooms were clean though sometimes it took awhile for the staff to come in and remake the room. When they remake the bed they do not put fresh sheets so if you're staying for more than a week you may want to request an actual sheet change. The front desk is super helpful and will give you maps, suggestions, and what tuk tuk rides should cost. They are honest and very good at catering to your needs. Though there were a couple of blackouts during the day, they got the power back on quite quickly. The hotel makes an amazing steak/beef salad and it's a 5 minute walk away from an AMAZING Cambodian bbq place called Darany bbq 3. It's also about a 10 minute walk away from the market.

There aren't many rooms, so we were able to spend 5 days in a quiet and relaxing stay. The restaurant's food was not very fancy, but it was exquisite and timeless, making use of natural ingredients. When we wanted to spend time on our own, they left us alone, and when we asked for their services, they responded flexibly and very kindly. I'm Japanese. I stayed at this hotel for one night to see the Encore Wat ruins. The location is very good, about 10 minutes by bike to the city pub street and 15 minutes to Encore Wat. The hotel was very kind, and even if I arrived at the hotel around 23:00, I asked for check-in procedures, rental bikes, and taxi arrangements, and they were willing to accept it. Rental bikes were also lent for $12 a day, which was a very enjoyable trip. I would like to stay again when I visit Siem Reap again. The disadvantage is 1. I think it will take a taxi fee for those who do not rent a motorcycle (it took $10 to get back and forth from the hotel early in the morning to Encore Wat) 2. It may have been bad to use, but I felt a little inconvenient because the shower temperature did not rise.

A very partial manor, self-contained, scattered with ten or twenty sets of two-storey villas, with large intervals between the villas, our family of four lives in one, and outside the window is a wild pond surrounded by old trees, which is very natural and wild. The room has a huge living room, dining room, three or four bathrooms, and four or five bedrooms. It feels empty and lonely for four people living in it, and there is no TV. Breakfast and other meals are delicious, with few varieties and average portions. The price is small and expensive, and ordinary half a catty of beer costs three dollars. The restaurant is in an open pavilion, surrounded by green lawns and seedling fields. Beautiful environment and excellent service.

Stayed in this private Villa for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Easily accommodated the 9 of us. The staff were excellent and Ms Sopheak Yam made sure everything went perfectly from airport pick up to drop off. Would definitely stay again. It is a short tuk tuk ride away from the main town but with plenty to see on the way in. Rooms are all good sizes and comfortable. The living spaces are ample and the pool is perfect for the Cambodian temperatures. The catering was fantastic. On the whole cheaper and far more relaxing than our last stay in a resort.

When I expressed my desire to live on the second floor, I also helped me change to the second floor in time. 👍 After entering the room, I found that the two socket switches were out of power, the speakers could not be used, and there was no electricity. The safe was out of power because the battery was out of power and could not be used. Fortunately, after my feedback, they also dealt with it in time and liked it. If I can check everything OK before I check in, if it is completely fine, I will give five stars. Finally, when the airport drop-off was not arranged. There may also be my reason, I didn't tell them one day in advance, let them arrange, and only said when they had to leave. 😅

This has been a breathtaking stay at Waka Villas (7 star quality indeed). We stayed here for 6 nights, and loved it. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The pools are fantastic and a welcome relief from the heat. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the service is very attentive. We enjoyed the short tuk tuk ride into town. Additionally, I would like to mention the excellent tuk tuk drivers that your hotel has partnered with. These local drivers were not only knowledgeable about their beautiful city, but they also provided exceptional service and were readily available to show me around. Their passion for Siem Reap was evident, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city with their guidance. My experience at The Sarai has been nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of exceptional service, top-notch amenities, and a dedicated staff has made my stay truly memorable. Traveled with my wife and adult son and his wife - us in our 50s, them late 20s. Staff was awesome, super friendly and attentive. Had a massage that was wonderful. Location was both good and not so good. It is very close to pub street and the night market. Pub street has great restaurants, bars and clubs. Very vibrant atmosphere. The drawback is the club music volume ramps up about mid flight and goes till about 3AM nightly. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear the constant beat of the music at lte hours. This may bother light sleepers. I put in ear plugs and was fine. Overall this is a wonderful little boutique hotel.

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

I stayed here for one week in December and ended up extending my staff for a month. Very friendly and homey place with comfortable rooms, nice pool, good food but above all is the friendliness of the staff, owners, regular, long stay guests, and regular customers who stop in all the time for a drink or to play a game of pool. Made lots of friends here and will return on my every visit to Siem Reap.

No need to go to a giant chain hotel/resort to feel like you’re the most special being on earth and that the sun rises and sets from your bottoms, here at villa indochine d’angkor the staff will treat you just like that. Honestly they’d probably treat you even better than some of your family members. The transfer to and from airport is included in your room which is a great value, the arrangement was easy and once I stepped out of the luggage claim my chariot was already there waiting with my name. Upon arrival I was met with friendly smiles and welcome & my room was even ready before the check-in time and not just ready, they had arranged flowers and leaves beautifully in my name on the bed despite having no special occasion with no extra charge or pre arrangement whatsoever. They also upgraded my room free of charge ! Miss lyka who was the receptionist at the time and her male coworker arranged for everything and settled me into my room perfectly. The hotel maybe small as it is a boutique hotel but it’s beautiful and has everything you could possibly need and they even have free shuttle if u want to go to downtown. I also booked a massage which they arranged for it in my room and everything was easy, smooth and on time and the massage was soo relaxing it knocked me out afterwards. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and will give your the sense of having the sole purpose to please & make your stay comfortable, so please tip your staff if you like the service cos $1-2 may not do much for you & cant even get a Starbucks coffee but it goes a long way here. If you need to leave your bags after checkout you can also do so they will keep them safe for you & even arrange ride back for you to the airport when you return.

Location is excellent and staff is very friendly, ready to help. Even though breakfast is not buffet they prepare nice food for you. Hotel is a bit old hence cleanliness could be improved. Unfortunately the hotel surrounding is very noisy by farm animals. People not used to it will have hard time to sleep.

Really clean and comfortable. Hard to believe it’s a hostel. Rooftop pool is great, there just isn’t much shade. Only complaint is the live music from the roof which goes on till pretty late. Location is good and was able to walk all over the city.

As a hotel enthusiast, I have to say Jaya House went above and beyond my expectations and truly represents what a true luxury hotel experience should be. What makes this place above and beyond is the people. From the owner to the managers to the staff, every single person at Jaya House brings their whole, authentic, warm-nature and kind-hearted self to deliver an experience that truly makes you feel welcomed, noticed, appreciated, relaxed and dare I say… ‘loved’. Everyday you are greeted with warm smiles and a ‘ready to help’ attitude. No request is too small or large. At some point, I felt as though I was staying at the Aman. That’s how good the service was and those who know me, know that I’m a tough critic. At the moment, the entire country of Cambodia is still recovering from Covid. Tourism is not back 100% yet so the spa is not open and dinner service is not available. Jaya House will let you know this in advance so you can manage your trip organization. Beyond the service, the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The housekeeping team is so on top of their game, to the point that we had to stop them from replacing the towels after only being used one time. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The food is delicious and they make their own tea which is amazing. The location is a bit outside of the ‘center’ and when I say a bit outside, it’s only 1.5km at most… but hey, when you’re in a relaxing mode even a 5 minute tuk-tuk can feel far 😊. Overall - an amazing experience and I cannot wait to go back when the spa is opened.

As soon as she arrived at the airport, the lady boss arranged for someone to pick him up, all the way to her hotel. The service attitude of the proprietress is really great, and every detail is in place. Help us change beds and ask us what kind of breakfast we want to eat. The breakfast made in the morning is really good, and there are plenty of fruits to eat. Wake up in the morning, the air is fresh, and I feel the harmony between nature and people, as well as the beautiful human etiquette. She was very comfortable, and the lady boss was also very enthusiastic. She asked a lot of questions. He answered and helped us one by one. When we finally went to Phnom Penh, she also helped us order a great car. I have stayed in so many hotels in China, but the sense of service is not as good as that of the boss. Good time concept, understanding of needs, orderly, and enthusiastic service, it's really great! After experiencing what is people-oriented, this is the real achievement. A gentleman loves money and takes the right way. I have experienced it, profoundly, and I am very happy to have such a life experience. When I left, I couldn’t help but gave the boss’s wife a hug, moved and wished her a prosperous business.
