The hotel was comfortable and the area felt quite safe. It was quiet and the beds were good. Good hot water and nice pressure. The lighting around the beds was very convenient, and included charging ports. We were surprised to receive fresh towels on the 2nd day of our 3 day stay. Housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and clean, and refreshing. Denny's is next door, and Village Inn is just a couple blocks, for the times we wanted to eat before or after we went downtown. Did wish it was a little closer to the main part of the historic area. When it was hot and humid, we didn't walk and arrive all sweaty to start with. Instead we called Ubers for $5-8, and walked back.

This hotel makes the most of everything they have. Our room was spacious, modernized & clean. Once upon a time, this was an old 1950s type roadside motel but somebody put some money into renovating it with new bathroom fixtures & laminate floors. The angle of the photo of the hotel makes the property look more like a resort then it actually is. The pool is adjacent to the AIA highway (the photographer's back is to the road) but the hot tub had great jets. The staff was so kind. I screwed up my reservation & they courteously changed it for me no questions asked. Granted I was going from a slow season weekday to the next day. I doubt they would have been so accommodating on a busy weekend. I told them it was my husband’s birthday so they gave up a cute bag that somebody wrote happy Birthday on with a sharpie. Inside were 2 bottles of water, some chocolate, a snack bag of chips & a granola bar. Probably cost them $5 but it was sweet thing to do. I also forgot my phone charger; when I asked at the front desk the manger loaned me hers. They are all about customer service. There is more parking around back. We never heard the train but our room faced the road not the tracks. We were able to walk into town but it was a long walk. We took a cab back after a night of bar hopping. Cost was about $12 + tip but we didn’t want to navigate the AIA in the dark while inebriated. 😊

Very good accomodation, the situation was better than we had expected. We had a wonderful view on the fortress. The employees were really friendly and very prevenous : the best we met during all our stay in Florida! The breakfast on the patio was very good. I highly recommand the hotel. The only weak point would be the soundproofing of the room, but we slept very well every night.

Good location, just off the highway, there are plenty of parking spaces around McDonald's and other restaurants, a 5-minute drive and a Chinese restaurant called Greatwall, very good, cost-effective, the hotel is about 12 minutes drive from the ancient city. The environment and sanitation are both medium and fine, with children can stay. The breakfast is also good, the place is not big, the standard American breakfast, you can make your own waffles, delicious, and the experience is excellent.

Myself and my kids decided to stay here for Easter weekend. Me being in a wheelchair I usually don't get to do a lot of fun things with my kids and hotels are usually a nightmare with trying to shower and have room. But Chris was absolutely God send. Not only did he give us a great deal our room was the best I've ever stayed in. Huge bathroom with a very sturdy bench or I could have even rolled into the shower.Room was very clean cozy and serene. Our beds and linen was comfy the chagrin stations built into the lamps on the table is very convenient. We had so much fun in the pool I was actually able to get in the huttub first time in years! Felt amazing the other visitors very friendly very clean grounds and pool. Beautiful gazebo and grill area peaceful and serene. We slept so great after that swim and shower. Woke up the kids had their Easter baskets and we went to the free breakfast which was AMAZING 👏🏽 MYO waffles grits eggs sausage bagels toppings juice cereal you name it they had it fresh and very tasty with plenty. Most places have cereal and stale donuts not here !! Me and my kids absolutely loved it and have decided to make it a new Easter tradition. If you just want a peaceful trip or need comfortable sleep I highly recommend here. Chris is amazing and very accommodating I appreciate him very much from the time I reserved the room to check out he was 5 star service and hospitality. Thanks for the absolute best experience I've ever had for me and my family. This memory is forver.

This is one Hilton property where you instantly know that management have been trained properly and in turn, trained their staff properly. Attitudes of all employees were upbeat and everyone gave great advice of where to go and what to see. A very clean hotel and grounds, comfortable rooms and a terrific bay view were all part of our week long experience. We will be back !

We were in town to visit friends and spend some time checking out some of the local places in the area. Enjoyed visiting the roadside Veterans Memorial and sculpture garden, driving through St. Augustine Beach with stops at the Pier and parked at Butler Beach for walk along the beach. Washington Oaks Park was within driving distance so we visited and walked along the waterway and through the beautiful rose gardens. Stopped and walked the nature trail (raised boardwalk) at Fort Matanzas and enjoyed speaking to the Ranger and seeing the "fort" from a distance. The ferry requires a free pass needed for boat ride to the Fort but it doesn't run on Mon/Tues. We knew in advance but enjoyed walking around. There us much to do and see in the historic area and elsewhere and LaQuinta is a prime location and nice place to stay.

The room I stayed in was the cleanest hotel room I have ever been in. Not a spec of dust or pet hair. The hotel has a large area shaded by oak trees for dog walking. A section is a fenced in dog park with an agility course. The room offered a large dog bed and two dog dishes. The hotel also offered a pet friendly shuttle to go downtown. I highly recommend this place.

2 blocks away from downtown. Beds were comfy and showers were hot. They served breakfast but I never made it there to check it out. Room's are accessible by outside stairs only. Refrig and microwave in rooms. Only draw back was the early train on the tracks Saturday morning. Our first stay here but I would recommend as we visit often since my sister lives in St Augustine.

Location is just off exit, requires a u turn to get into parking lot. If it’s busy like bike week and lots of trailers, good luck parking, not very big lot. Room and bed was nice, they have soaps attached to wall in shower, but ours was empty. Asked a maid for more soap, and told she had none?? Breakfast is usually good, because it was a busy night (Friday) , the infamous cinnamon rolls were gone, and also they shut it down exactly at 10 am. That means coffee as well! Hallways were dirty carpets, as if drywall debris was dropped all over. This was from 3 pm till we checked out next day around 10 am.

Clean hotel pleasant staff. There are no frills here and it is expensive for what you get. However we had an unpleasant experience at another area hotel so we were just happy with a clean, quiet room. Good location, 1 km walk to beginning of old Town. Outdoor Pool is a nice feature. 2 free shows were included in our booking but the show is not operating. They gave us drink vouchers instead which we were told we could use for a free speciality coffee, but the person who makes the coffee was never working. That was a bit strange. Couldn't front desk or restaurant staff be trained to make a coffee? Free regular coffee was offered in the lobby mornings only, no real cream though. Breakfast at cost again expensive and not worth the money.

To whom it may concern. My wife and I visited St. Augustine from May 23-28. We were checked in by Kareen. When we first checked in, she was somewhat pleasant; however, that changed after we got to our room # 209 and my wife and I realized that we were not given the room we had looked at and had originally booked on line.(which was immediately upon entering the room). Originally, we had booked the King Suite with the separate bedroom. When we called down to the desk (immediately) and told Kareen that we had been given the wrong room, she argued with my wife telling her that we had received the room that we had booked on line. I went down with my computer and showed her what we booked on line. Kareen continued to argue with me. Both my wife and I stated all we wanted was the room that we booked with the separate bedroom. At this point. I returned to the room and called Choice customer service and the gentleman I spoke to looked up our reservation and confirmed that we had indeed booked the room with the separate King bedroom. He then proceeded to call Kareen at the front desk. The gentleman stated that Kareen would move us as long as the room was not messy or dirty. I told him that all we had done was use the phone and sat at desk and hard stool. The gentleman told Kareen this. The housekeeper reported to Kareen that the room was indeed clean. Before I got off the phone with Choice customer service, he told me that everything was taken care of and that we would be moved to the proper room, number 211. The room phone rang and Kareen told my wife to come down then hung up. We assumed it was to get the new room key. We moved our luggage to hall and my wife took the room keys to the desk. Kareen at this point still continued to bring up the point 5 more time that we got the room that we had booked, which was not correct. My wife told her at this point that we had enough, told her to reverse the charges and that we would find other accommodations. My wife then came back upstairs as I thought this had been taken care of as I waited with our luggage in the hallway. She did not give my wife the new room keys but had in her possession the old keys. My wife was becoming upset and told her if she would not give us the new keys, she could cancel the reservation and we would go to the competition across the street. Kareen continued to argue that we booked the wrong room. My wife told her she was done and return to me waiting upstairs in the hallway. At this point, I came down with my wife and told Kareen that if she did not want to put us in the proper room, to reverse the charges and that we would leave, She continued to argue with my wife and I, then she finally produced new room keys for room # 211 and then had the nerve to tell me that all we had to do was to tell her that we wanted to be moved in the first place. She also said my wife was rude walking away from her while she was just explaining things. We have never been treated like this an
