      After booking in here at the very last minute due to being let down at a previous hotel all the staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. In particular the customer service Duty Manager Ala Ben Oun. Nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel exceptionally welcome. Being last minute our room needed setting up with the sofa bed and this was done promptly. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple yet lovely, constantly being replenished with freshly cooked hot food items, and the restaurant was very clean. My daughter has a nut allergy and when speaking to the staff regarding the breakfast cereals they were extremely helpful in advising and finding out which items were ok. Staff were sanitising and wiping down the areas once guests had left clearing the tables immediately. I cannot praise the Duty Manager enough with his friendly yet professional attitude - it was clear that his team were happy under his management. An absolute credit to the Hotel - he made our stay completely stress free - thank you so much.

      . Check in was ok but they didn’t inform me about the discount on parking if they validate your ticket on check out. Also check in and check out are not as stated on the website. UK.trip.com offered a brilliant discount but booking direct was over priced for this type of hotel Quite a spacious room but no fridge and no way to co Troy temperature. Very high beds and very, very soft pillows but beautiful linen and towels. Everything new and fresh. Really well situated for the theatre and nice walk very nearby.

      Liked - The room and breakfast was good. The shower was great and the added addition of the bath robes was a nice touch. Good selection of both hot and cold breakfast options. Disliked · The sheer lack of staff and the knock on effect of this. I attended a wedding and to put it bluntly the bar was a joke, poor standard of beer, lack of draft beers with the Guinness , IPA and bitter all running out early on in the evening, clean glasses were also a problem. Prices are also extremely high compared to your normal, this would be more palatable if the service matched the cost. Only three staff covering two bars all evening with a party of well over 100 thirsty people. Ice ran out and the staff really struggled to keep things going. I must note that this wasn't the fault of the hard working staff and they done their best to cope with a terrible situation, holiday inn management need to take a close look at their current practices, they need to staff and stock big events accordingly.

      We returned to the hotel having asked for a room at short notice , Richard the manager kindly accommodated us. He was aware that my wife in particular hates the cold. On arrival we were warmly greated. When we reached the room, my wife immediately said its lovely and warm in here. She was very satisfied. After settling down I switched on the TV and my wife had a hot shower, which had plenty of pressure and well controlled temperature. We decided to have dinner in the large expanisve lounge and were pleased to get a comfortable seat to watch the Whyte v Fury match. Dinner was steak and chips with a club sandwich, combined with soft drinks made for a enjoyable evening. After a few enquiries we discovered that they have live music on Fridays and a deal at the gym I can't believe. Gym membership is £25 or £35 per month with no contract. But you get 50% off meals and soft drinks in the lounge and parking is free when using the Gym. I had just spent £50 for food at one visit and enjoyed it. Just wonder what the numbers look like after a few visits for a meal each month. Not sure this deal will be ongoing. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast the usual broad array of cooked and continental options and good service. Overall an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The spacious lounge and comfortable seating was a real plus as was the live fight on the screens. Seriously thinking about joining the Gym, just for the massive discount. Couple of nice dinners out and you are quids in. Well worth the visit offering more than initially meets the eyes.

      Hotel is very central with easy access to transport, entertainment and shopping, Snozone and planet Ice are furthest away and still easily walkable. Our room was a very clean, modern family room with an extra bed for a child. There was still plenty of room and the child had a proper and comfortable bed where some hotels only offer occasional beds for kids. Great view of entertainment venues without the noise. Breakfast was excellent value and plenty of options. There is an option to check in and out online which saves a lot of time at the desk. Very nice hotel stay.

      Stayed at The Hub as part of a group whilst visiting the theatre. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the shops and theatre with a good selection of restaurants on your doorstep. The rooms were spacious and clean but I must say the staff were amazing. Everyone was so helpful and seemed genuinely interested to talk to you. From the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff to the reception team nothing was too much. Outstanding customer service. Will definitely use again.
