If you are looking for a quiet location or a romantic break near Tours, then look no further! My one regret was that I did not stay longer. Friendly Staff, spacious rooms, (mine overlooking the terrace garden) and excellent restaurant. Only negative was poor wi-fi connection, although I am informed that they are having fibre installed soon.

This chateau located in the Touraine area was built in the elegant Napoleon III style. It overlooks the Choisille Valley. Oak parquet floor walls adorned by tapestries in the splendidly decorated rooms and suites. Some of them feature four-poster beds or bubbling baths. Guests always fall in love with the large landscaped park with its rare essential oils. In the summertime they take advantage of the surroundings to enjoy breakfast served on the terrace or relax in the heated swimming pool. Heading back to the ferry ports from the South West coast we decided to try the Mercure in Tours Sud. It is well located for road access and sits close a large lake with nice walks in nearby woods. The hotel itself was welcoming with a large car park, spacious rooms, a great breakfast (that included sausage, scrambled egg and bacon), and a nice pool and hammam area. No complaints at all.

We stayed just one night as an overnight stop on our way back from Spain to the UK. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a comfortable large bed. The decor and bathroom needed an upgrade, but we could see that work was being carried out on other rooms. The same pleasant lady, booked us in, then vacuumed the stairs after the builders finished for the day. Then she came to our room with a pair of pliers to fix the radiator, afterwards she served dinner to us. The next morning, the same lady served our breakfast and later checked us out! Well done that lady, very professional with a sense of humour and such a hard worker. The evening dinner was delicious and beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients. The breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. The hotel is ideally located next to the chateau in a pretty little village. The car park is free and just across the road opposite. We would certainly visit again and next time pay a bit extra for a nicer room.

We stayed here before and liked it ,so we came back for a weekend . The standards have not slipped and we found a nice clean room with a small kitchenette.We took breakfast which was good with plenty of choice. Time time we take not take the parking option but parked on the street near the supermarket. The downside to this is a 5 minute walk to enter. We like it because you can walk into the old quarter in 20 mins. 177€ for Two people for 2 nights B&B

A very good address. We eaten in the patio under the glycine. Very good dishes. Le carpaccio d'ananas excellent. And congratulations to the young lady charged with breakfast! Very effective, careful and very pleasant. The hotel is a very good hotel and is very good for you to stay in the hotel.

We stayed overnight recently having stayed here before. We received a lovely warm welcome. There was a kettle in the room & plenty of tea & coffee etc always available at reception. We had a superb steak dinner cooked to perfection & the service was quick & friendly despite the restaurant being very busy. Will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our three-night stay at the Chateau Beaulieu. We were in the ”Chambre Chateau”, which overlooks the formal garden from the second floor. The Chambre Chateau was a very pleasant room, with charming view, and very quiet. Very good bed, and a good night's sleep. We also really liked our dinner at the Chateau. (We ate dinner there only once; reservations recommended, and we tried to look suitably well dressed.) We thought the food was delicious, and enjoyed the old-world, professional service and elegant atmosphere. Very good breakfast. Charming hosts, who really care about the guests' hotel and dining experiences.
