Best pillows ever and very comfortable bed and room in general. Friendly staff. I requested shuttle to airport for the next day and luckily it was there for someone else because the gentleman at the front desk said the girl I talked to the night before when I arrived forgot to add me to the list. Unbelievable.

Stayed at this property for business. Everything was wonderful! I was checked in by Davi - she was super friendly and very thorough, and explained all amenities available with Covid. Breakfast was provided in a limited selection due to covid, it was very tasty. Marian at the desk greeted me on many mornings and was very helpful and friendly. Rosa the Front Desk Manager would go out of her way to offer suggestions for dinner, and things to do. Jocelyn at the desk was also very friendly and answered my questions swiftly. Housekeeping at this property is VERY efficient, when I walked into my room, it was well appointed, clean, and had everything I needed. The room attendants I saw throughout the stay were always friendly and asked if I needed anything for my room. My stay at this hotel was very peaceful, and the entire team was wonderful! Keep up the wonderful work! :)

Let me start off by saying I'm not uppity and it takes a lot to get my feathers ruffled. That being said, I've never been more excited to leave a 1-star review. It would be better and more accurate if it was zero...but I'll settle for 1 if it means getting the word out. This place was atrocious. Admittedly, we booked blindly based on the fact that we are Choice Hotel members and it's been a consistently reliable chain for us. Instant regret. Management was confrontational and demeaning from the get go. We ended up asking for fresh bedding (because there were ACTUAL bugs in our bed, not because we were trying to cause a problem) and were screamed at by management and told to go back to where we came from. Which is honestly a bit ironic coming from a heavily accented French man. But we're not horrible and hateful and don't say things like that to other people. But I digress. And also, JJ....if that's your general philosophy about life then maybe the TRAVEL industry isn't the job for you. This is a HOTEL near a major airport, you quite literally get your business from people who are leaving where they came from 🤔. We dealt with ants in our beds and cockroaches all over our rooms and bathrooms. And don't even give me the 'BuT tHiS iS tExAs AnD tExAs Has BuGs' spiel because I've stayed many places in Texas and didn't have cockroach Bob and his whole family and an entire ant farm in my bed. That's just a lame excuse to be sub-par. Extermination is affordable, accessible and a NECESSITY in a venue where many different people stay....just solely on premise for health reasons. Black mold was literally growing on the showers and ceiling. The paint was peeling off the walls. Everything was dusty, crusty, musty and rusty. The mildew and old cigarette smell was overwhelming. The pool was down. There is no tram to the airport as advertised. The breakfast was not free...which I've never encountered at a Choice Hotel before. The elevator is running on duct tape and a prayer. Every single negative review on here is spot on. Don't even entertain the idea of staying here. Run. They don't accommodate you, management gaslights you and corporate apparently ”can't do anything to remedy the situation”. We just ate the cost and left. Best decision ever. We're currently working with the Better Business Bureau. You have been warned. There are half a dozen other hotels within eyeshot of this place. For the love of all things holy, don't make the same mistake we did. Happy travels!......elsewhere.

After we got our luggage at HOU, we called the hotel for a shuttle pickup and was told a shuttle would be on its way. We waited for about 25 minutes, but no shuttle came and there was no way of finding out status. We called again and the person that picked up said she would have to call the shuttle driver to find out, but that they were very busy, and she hung up on me. I thought it was odd to be busy after 11pm. We waited another 10 minutes and still no shuttle. We called a third time and the same person said she did not call the shuttle driver, but that he should be on his way, which was useless info. The shuttle finally came after another 10-15 minutes, and the driver was not particularly friendly, but I'm sure he had a long day so that's that. Arriving at the hotel, it was clear we needed to check in since we had all our luggage, but the front desk agent did not smile or greet me, and I had to approach closer to initiate the check in. He did not do any of the usual pleasantries like simply ask how my day or flight was. He did not ask any questions or offer to upgrade (since we're Titanium members) or anything, but just typed away and then told us our room number and gave us our card keys. He was so stoic and unpleasant I didn't bother to ask. As a side note, his personal appearance was not what I would expect of a front desk agent. He had a nose piercing bar, multiple ear and facial piercings, colored hair, disheveled attire, etc. I'm not a prude, but I would imagine a hotel as an establishment should have some guidelines for their staff, such as you would not expect staff to show up for work just wearing a bra or be smoking behind the counter. Within the room, with four people (and I believe this was noted on our reservation), we had the main bed, the sofa (not sofa bed), and a trundle bed. That's workable, but here's the problem: we only had one additional blanket and sheets other than what was on the bed, and no additional pillows. Two blankets and pillows (for two more people not on the bed) should have been provided already. When we went down to ask the front desk for another blanket, the answer was that there were no additional blankets. Are you kidding me? What we got were three additional sets of sheets, which we had to lay all out to have any semblance of the warmth of a blanket. Lastly, going down for the breakfast, the selection and quality of the food was lacking when compared to breakfasts at other Marriott properties of similar class. The attendants bringing out the food also didn't smile or look like they cared about their work. Again, maybe it was a tough weekend, or maybe all the customers were rough and they responded in kind, I don't know. Overall though, from before we arrived to when we left out the door, there isn't anything good I could say about our stay at all.

We stayed for 3 nights. Nice location with over 25 restaurants within 3 miles. Check in and check out were smooth. Good parking. The room was a good size and all the fresh new colors was a refreshing change. Room was clean, good size and the bathroom was very nice. Shower was good and modern. The seating area for breakfast is adequate and the selection of hot items and cold was good. 5 hot items, loved the machine that made pancakes. Typical free breakfast selection with more hot items than the average hotel. Ask the front desk for the list of restaurants. It was perfect and we ate at a different place each night. Good experience, we will come back.

This Garden Inn was well staffed, operated, and clean. The staff was friendly, took care of my needs, and made for a worry free stay. It’s back off the main road a bit, so it was pretty quiet for being in a big city. The only suggestion I might make was the lack of lighting and signage as you turn off the main road.

Hotel location is very good, in the subway DRYDEN station, 8 minutes from the DRYDEN Metropolitan Museum area three stations, there is a ticket vending machine on the subway platform for 1.25 dollars within three hours. The subway is parallel to the motorway on the road in front of the hotel. It is convenient to use the underground passage. There is a bathtub in the big bed room. The softness and hardness of the bed are suitable. It is suitable for a family of three. I feel comfortable living in the museum area ZAZA!

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Hobby Airport

It’s an airport hotel, so you expect a shuttle. From the airport, you call the hotel and they send a shuttle (it took a few minutes after I’d called, at 1am). They return to the airport every 15 minutes. Easy. (Definitely easier than a number of other airport hotel shuttles I’ve used.) It’s an airport hotel, so you expect it to be noisy, right? Wrong. I chose a room on the opposite side to the road (use the hotel plan in the app - someone else posted it’s all even room numbers one side and odd the other side, that’s not correct). I didn’t have a view but I heard no noise other than a neighbor’s door slam. No cars, no planes, no nothing. Great sleep. It’s a Hilton, so you know what to expect. It’s not luxury, but you have everything you need - decent bedding, space, coffee maker, the right toiletries. Room was clean and furniture, bathroom etc all seemed fine to me. I had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the breakfast restaurant - all fine, and pretty reasonably priced (especially for an airport hotel). I arrived at 1am to be offered a warm cookie. Loved the idea, sadly I have a nut allergy (thank you for labeling the product clearly as having nuts!) Service was friendly everywhere - the front desk at 1am and other times of day, as well as the bar and restaurant. And the room price was reasonable, especially given it was a last minute booking (for the next night). Did everything via the app - check in, room key, check out, find out breakfast times etc. super easy. Only minor complaint is that the little store next to reception is not very well stocked, and a number of empty spaces indicated they usually stock quite a bit more than was there. That said, if you weren’t too fussy in your chocolate or snack quest, you’d find something. Would stay here again if I needed a hobby airport.

On 2/7/2022 I made a reservation online for a 10 night stay at the Hampton Inn Houston-Katy. On 3/8/2022, I modified the reservation to a one night stay. Upon checking in on 4/13/2022 at around 11 pm, Brenden confirmed that we would only be staying for the one night. On 4/14/2022, we left the hotel. No belonging were left in our room. Since covid, we have been receiving our receipts via email for our records. We left the keys at the hotel and thought nothing was out the norm. I realized that in the afternoon, I had not received my receipt. I checked my credit card statement and saw two charges from Hampton, $207.93 and $1465.84. I contacted customer assistance who directed me straight to the hotel. The manager, Stephanie refuses to refund the money. She called me a ”lier” (her words) and said that when we checked in we directed Brenden to change the reservation to ten days. She also said that belongings were left in the room. I assure you that neither is true. If we were staying 10 days, I would have modified the reservation to make sure we would have a room a head of check in. In stead of just admitting to making an honest mistake, she insulted my integrity and has basically stolen my money for services I never wanted or approved. I have the confirmation to confirm the stay of one night only. There were no belongs left. When I looked at my reservation on my phone on 4/13 it was one night. They deliberated changed it to 10 and are calling me the lier. I assure you that any future stays will be at the Comfort Inn. I want my funds refunded to my card, but I am still waiting on a call back.... not holding my breath. They seem to manipulate the truth and insult customers.

This is a random hotel in a random location. I booked it because I have had good experiences with the Autograph Collection. It was clean. It was located where they say it is, so shame on me, but there is hardly anything around there. There is a LifeTime gym next door - I assume they get access, which is nice. Check in person was nice. We got upgraded to a larger room, which was great because even that was not very big. Cons: Only decent hotel where I’ve not been offered help with our bags (normally you have to fend off porters if you don’t need them). We pulled up to the $41/day valet at a reasonable hour. We had two large bags with us and nobody even offered to help us wrestle them out of the trunk. When we wheeled them down to check out the valet asked us whether we wanted help getting them in the trunk — well, yeah. That made for a sour start. Water temperature in the shower was really problematic, either really hot or cold, very very hard to modulate. We were not going to mention but management sent us a “how’s things” text and we mentioned it and they fixed it! On Saturday morning there were lots of takeout food bags (obviously trash from dinners ordered the night before) up and down the hall - gross. How hard would that be to pick those up in the middle of the night? Ironically, the nicest guy we met at the hotel was a housekeeping guy who was vacuuming the hall and was delightfully courteous - I wish I’d gotten his name. Bar was understaffed. Sorry, Laura, you won’t see me again.

Like a motel, the room is large, clean, and fully equipped, but because it is close to the highway, there is a car driving overnight. It is not convenient to have no car in the United States. So staying here is much cheaper than downtown. Drive to the museum area, follow the morning peak for about 40min-1h, and go to the space center for about 1.2-1.5h. Can be tollway, less than 2.5 knives for each of the 7 seats, not expensive, take the right cash channel, below 20 can be zero. It was an older building, but was nice. The suites were great with a full kitchen. It was like staying in an apartment. The pool was crystal clear and nice. The spas heater was not working, but it was plenty warm due ti the weather. It had everything that we needed. It was a reasonable price and the staff was friendly and helpful, thanks, Laser!

The service was good. But for breakfast the biscuits were cold. They did give a courtesy check out call 30 min ahead of time.
