A nice hotel with a great view. The rooms aren’t big, but pretty comfy. Pay attention, there is no vent in the bathroom, no sound insulation (glass walls literally). Bathroom kit, fresh towels, coffee, tea, bottled water, hairdryer and cattle are available. Fast WiFi. VERY helpful and polite stuff. Great location: 5 min to China market, 5-7 min walk to good bars with western food and alcohol beverages. Around 15 min walk to bus station. Breakfast is ok, don’t expect too much from taste.

I stayed at A One hotel during my trip to KL. I was looking for a budget place, but well located and that had good reviews and I was totally satisfied. The rooms are pretty basic, a bed, a small desk, a tiny rail to hang clothes, AC, TV and bathroom, but it does the job and more importantly they were spotless clean. Unlike other places in Malaysia, they provide you with a hand towel, bath towel and bath rug and they all get changed everyday (towels don't dry well in the rooms). Make sure you book rooms with window if you dont like closed place. The only suggestion I would make for the rooms is to have a kettle (sometimes you feel like having a cuppa) and to have more storage (either a bigger rail or a cupboard). Otherwise, the rooms are perfect and you get for what you pay for. On my first day we took a taxi and it cost us RM85 but from then onward we use public transportation being locate 5 min from Masjid Jameq station. Also, it is 2 minutes walk from the the stunning Jameq Mosque, 8 minutes from the central market and 10 min. from Chinatown. There are a few restaurants and shops nearby to sort out a quick meal or breakfast. And the service was superb. They always greeted you with a smile on the face and made you feel welcomed. They were also really accommodating when we had any request. Overall, I would recommend you staying at A One if you are looking for an inexpensive stay, but want to do the best with the location and the service. You wont regret.

Remember to PUSH the door when entering. Don’t let the pull handle fool you! Booked in here for two nights and extended to three. Located in a great spot next to China town with the Metro and Pasar Seni train station just down the road. Max the manager is fantastic and goes the extra mile to help with any questions and directions. The manager who works during the night is also fantastic and both are extremely friendly. The facilities are adequate here as you’d expect for the price. We stayed on the third floor same as reception. I would give five stars however the walls are quite thin and we could hear everything in the room above, woken up at early hours and during the night from it. Guessing it was a dorm but unsure. Air con worked great, only one plug in double room but not an issue for us. Friendly guests, 24 hour reception and free tea and coffee. Would stay here again.

The hostel wasn’t easy to find, the address provided on here will lead you to the back of the hostel(see picture). So go to the the market street (the street next to the one provided on here) and walk through the market (if you come from the metro station direction) you will find it on your right. Breakfast is from 7am to 10am and is limited. It wasn’t clear what we could use and what not. &There are many shower rooms which is great and they are big enough!

Located opposite of Chinatown, Petaling Street Market and very near to Central Market KL. About 7 minutes walk to LRT Plaza Rakyat Station which is 500m away. There's a bus stop across the main road to take the free Go KL city bus - purple line, to Bukit Bintang or Pavilion Shopping mall. I had booked a Superior Room with breakfast. The room is very small and do note that it does not come with fridge to keep cold drinks which is important to have in a hot city after touring around. Cleanliness is poor. On check-in, found pubic hair on bedside table and some hairs. Quite disgusting. No separate shower gel and shampoo, but one liquid for both body and hair wash. The shower room drainage is poor. Can get flooded when showering. For the little extra price to include breakfast, it's worth the convenience although there are many choices of finding food near the hotel. Overall, for such a low price hotel, it's worth staying than a hostel. The good part is the hotel is recently renovated and being rather new is the attractive part. Lastly, don't expect any nice view from the window because the highest level is 5 and my room faces the back street which maybe a good thing being away from the noisy main road.

I was check in during MCO and yes i understand all the rules and with minimum facilities that provided on that time. During the stay im very aware with the atmosphere and this time my attend as guest are not very welcoming as before, which is full of experience of exclusive and treat the guest very well before. Starting from the main lobby, receptionist until the person who incharge for parking are make me feels uncomfortable, maybe by my appereance when i approach at hotel didn't wears a fancy suit like its suppose( i guess?). Worst part is when my brothers bike need to park at level B1 coz the parking for motorcycle at B2 but the lift near with it are closed, so its taking a bit long walk to the "nearest" lift to the rooms. So he decided to put the motorcycle infront of my cars parking coz we are stay together, plus the B1 level has the very nearest lift and the bike was not causing any distract to other down there. He got the warning letter stick at his bike for 2 letter, who that makes an inappropiate manners there for the guest(i think 1 letter would be enough) so my brother gently take out the letter and brings to the parking guard post for asking if there possible to park the bike at B2 with the nearest lift straight to the rooms. So there was 1 guys i believe is the staff who incharge-tells the nearest lift to mount up. After done and satisfy with answer then the other guys cames out with the cigarettes in his hand asking about other question, seems like to find the fight with my brother. my brother just answers it with calm and didn''t expect much as maybe for their duty, but with the manners that other guy shown is like unprofessional coz my brother is also the guest. Please improve again more your services just like before..and yes this is last time visit for me and my family.

Amazing place for the price for a short weekend staycation. Checked in at 4:30pm and there was no waiting queue. Lobby receptionists are incredibly friendly and efficient. They surprised me with a anniversary ‘decorations’. Grateful for that. One big downside is their breakfast buffet. Queue was really long at 9am and we had to queue standing up for 20 mins. Nasi lemak is a must try. Swimming pool can be crowded with kids on the weekend. So if you’re looking for something more private you’re in no luck.

excellent hotel especially considering the price point. The room is beautifully designed, with clean lines and trully reflect the urban resort aesthetics. Very spacious too. I got the corner room where the bathroom also has a full window. The facilities is sufficient, though more gym equipment especially free weights would be great. The pool area is excellent- most KL hotels really have bad pool design- either it is too shaded, too small, too empty, but Ruma pool is just perfect. Enough sun but breezy, evening has music so to create a lounge feel. definitely one of the best feature of the hotel. you can't fault the location- in between Pavillion anda Bukit Bintang and KLCC area. But personally, I feel the best feature of the hotel is the staff and the service. Though it's a new hotel, I feel that the service staff in general is warm, friendly and most importantly competent. That's extremely rare in Malaysian hospitality industry. Kudos to the general manager Mr Guido Farina to create such an environment. Already planning for my next trip

I took apartment with 2 bedrooms. We stayed to surprised my husband on his birthday. We had a complimentary of a piece of cake and cookies with decor for FOC. I and children was so happy because it is so near to Pavilion. Checked in was so smooth only i need to pay RM200 for deposit using my debt card but will be returned in 7-14 days after checkout. The breakfast was so nice and have varieties of options. Worth of paying.. The room was clean but like usual have stains and algae in the toilets. I just suggest if the hotel can provide Clorox or Mr Muscles to sprays on the surfaces to clear the blackheads 😝🤭. The staffs and housekeeping was doing a very good job. Very fast and efficient and very helpful. Thank you for the wonderful staycation.

Had a great experience staying here. Matter of fact, stayed here twice already and both are pleasant experiences. Rooms are huge, and I mean huge. There’s free parking. It’s in the middle of Bangsar, so it’s easy to get around. Amenities are fine. Would recommend this. Looking forward to stay here again.
