Greeted by one of the most helpful staff and gave great suggestions for eats and some side ventures that weren't on our original plan, but made the time for. Hotel a little older, but maintained well. Ice machine on second floor didn't work, but first floor worked well. Outdoor pool area small, but pretty. Bed comfortable; making for the best night sleep. Small breakfast area inside and a couple tables outside too. If we happen to be in this area again, we will stay here.

This is moreso over a review of Motel 6 in general, as theyre all pretty uniform, but also the property. Have to ask yourself what you value in a hotel. Pens & paper? Coffee/Coffee Maker? Shampoo? Conditioner? Lotion? Facial tissues? Clocks? Because you'll get none of thos things here. You get 4 plastic cups w/ an ice bucket, a cheap phone, two bars of soap & a roll of toilet paper. The three reedeming factors of the room are the TV's (large with many channels), the big, thick, heavy, dark wood bathroom doors, and what I would call a comfortable bed. But goodluck if you get one with a matress pad here. As for the property itself, defn a strong cigarette smell on the second floor. The check in area is pretty baron and cold. Note here also that, you can hear alot of going ons around in other rooms. You can avoid that with the heater/ac/fan on, but otherwise you can hear things pretty well. Perhaps the hard lamanent floors contribute. I also am not a fan of hard flooring in hotels, and defn value a carpet. Certainly not what I would consider family friendly also, in my opinion.
