Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Strong wifi signal. Fitness center had 1 elliptical and 2 treadmills of above average quality. There was also an adjustable workout bench and barbells. Space was small though. There is an indoor pool. Breakfast was your typical FFI offerings. Waffle maker was available. Plenty of restaurants and a Walmart Neighborhood Market in the area. If you like to walk or run for exercise, then this is an excellent location. There is a sidewalk in front of the property. I ran out of the parking lot and turned left on the side walk. I followed it all the way to the local high school and there was a nice biking/running/walking trail. Best thing about this place is the staff. Seemed like they loved their job. I'd stay here again.

This is a good hotel, but I found it to be very expensive for what it offered in a stay in July 2019. It was priced higher than what the quality of room furnishings would seem to justify. My room showed its advancing age in the room carpet and furniture. The hotel was nicely quiet and there were many food options within 1.5 miles of the hotel. There are also many shopping options on Washington Street (the hotel is on this street) as you drive toward downtown Racine. I enjoyed my stay, and would return to this hotel, but I would also hope for a better price.

Nice room, really nice waterfront view. Very clean. Exterior door opens a few inches for air (unlike many other hotels these days). Quiet fan in bathroom, nice because one of my peeves is cheap noisy bathroom fans - the hotel owners don’t live in the rooms, only the paying customers. Quiet time of year, few boats in harbour. Short drive to main street and shops / restaurants. Enjoyed a walk along the nearby lakefront (get a street map if driving), nearly deserted. Good front desk service, BUT they did not mention the physically attached restaurant when asking for dinner recommendations. Odd. Walked down the hall, had a good meal, didn’t have to go outside.

After several attempts and reschedules for my wife and I to visit by ourselves, we finally made it, with our children, and yet the visit was still wonderful. A little snowy weather gave the venture a Christmasy feel to it. My children were in complete awe of the massive house which was built in the 1890’s. And as the website describes, my wife and I felt like we we embraced in a warm hug the second we walked in. The decoration is beautiful and calming. The lighting inside was suttle and warm. The view of downtown Racine from the house was perfect and not overwhelming. And as for our room, massive, comfortable and very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, the room itself was arranged like a small studio apartment that you would see in a movie or something. Now the part that made our stay really nice was the fact that the owner Pamela (the owner of The Christmas House) was able to set up child care for a few hours for my wife and I to go out for dinner. It’s not something that she advertised and wasn’t something we asked for but we were delighted that she was willing to go the extra mile, or 10 miles in this case, to make our stay that much more enjoyable. Our children were very well taken care of and enjoyed the opportunity to have someone else to play games with. The following morning, we were served a 5 course breakfast with a bowl of fresh fruit, eggs, bacon mini potatoes, and delicious cinnamon pancakes. It really was a nice way to cap off our short visit to the B&B. If you’re looking for somewhere to go any season of the year, whether it’s just yourself, with a significant other, the whole family (extended or immediate), or looking for a beautiful place to host a work event, look no further than The Christmas House. You won’t regret it.

This was a nice clean motel. The beds were fine. There was one problem and one unusual thing. The problem was that the WiFi didn't work in our room. We were at the far end of the motel. the WiFi had only one bar and it was so slow that it was unusable. I had to take my laptop to the office area, where the signal strength was stronger, to use it. The unusual things was the complete absence of furniture (except, of course, the beds.) There was the usual built in desk, but no chair. I found that strange. The only place to sit and work was on the beds. other than these two issues, the motel was just fine.

We spent five nights over the Christmas holiday at this hotel, while visiting family in the Milwaukee area, and used this as our home base. The hotel is new and spotless. Very comfortable beds in a nicely appointed room (simple, innovative furniture) with the stablest pull-out couch I have ever experienced. Great breakfast, friendly staff, accommodating service folks. It was a great stay: quiet, clean, orderly, friendly, convenient. There are so many restaurants nearby; we went to the movies a mile down the road one night; there is a Starbucks across the street. It's right off the freeway but amazingly quiet at the hotel. Just great all around. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Our first and last time at Days Inn. When I first checked in, the girl was not overly friendly and seemed a bit out of it. (I later smelt marijuana throughout the hotel which would explain why I suppose). Despite booking my room enough in advance I was told the only available room was next to the desk on first floor. We not only heard the elevator and ice machine all night but the all of the orders placed at the 24 hour McDonald's behind us outside our window. Breakfast was apparently done at 930 but we were told 10. When we checked out we were supposed to have a late check out but decided to pack up early. We hadn't told anyone at the desk of this yet housekeeping was waiting for us right outside our door for us to leave. We later found out the hotel is known to be used for drug related activity which isn't surprising as the smell of marijuana floated down the first floor the rest of the night with no one seeming to care or do anything about it. The pool was way smaller than the photos and didn't have any pool toys or music or anything really for people of any age. Extremely disappointed and was definitely not worth $80.....

Location was right off the exit. Staff was helpful . Rooms were nicely clean so good job to housekeepers. They have some good breakfast options as pre packaged food. We felt safe, when we saw that the hotel have signs to maintain social distancing and also have sanitizer stations installed due to COVID-19.They also offered mask if we needed. Indoor pool and hot tub is open with some limitation. However we stayed in room with hot tub so it was enjoyable. We also like their lobby and new fireplace area. Overall clean and safe environment. I would recommend this hotel.
