I've lived here 5 months now, and thought it was time to write a review..The Staff is Friendly and Caring, the rooms are Nice with Full size Refrigerators and Microwaves, parking lot is Well Lit and Spacious, Laundry facility is Always clean, the beds are Comfortable.I did have a problem accessing my room, but the Staff were on it Right Away and replaced the Card Reader Mechanism--Other than that, NO Problems..I would DEFINITELY recommend this place for Travelers and/or people looking for an 'Apartment Style' Hotel for an Extended Residence.

This place has staff that are kind, caring, and very efficient! I felt taken care of so I could enjoy my vacation! They have a nice hot breakfast spread and happy hour dinner type snacks. The pool is really nice. Rooms are very clean and comfortable beds!

I'm very happy with the room Kris assigned to me. Most importantly, he provides excellent customer service. I called ahead of time, and Kris went up to make sure my room was cool and that everything was in good working order. I was also pleasantly surprised when he realized I was a Diamond Select Member. As a result, he greeted me with the Diamond Select gift without my asking because I was unaware of this gracious gesture. The gift bag includes water and a snack. Room 410, It has a sofa and coffee table, is called a suite. I never could figure out the air conditioner/ furnace. it tan all the time no matter what I set the thermostat on. 63 degrees is what I like. Blower would switch between heat and air conditioning without ever stopping. I intended to mention it at the desk upon departure but the thought was not with me at the time. They have some fine ladies working the reception desk, Barbra and Kimmy. I had a problems understanding why this Holiday Inn would not allow me to use points for payment on this stay and also on one a few months previously. When making reservations on the web site it was listed as NO REWARDS NIGHTS AVAILABLE, with no reason noted. Barbra and Kimmy explained to me that there is a limited quota for rewards nights allowed at each hotel. When that quota is reached, no other customers may use points. That was news to me and I appreciate that they kindly explained the system. I or my wife stays here once or twice a year and we like the hotel, it's location to St. louis, and all the fine people working there.

Location was good 20 mins from downtown St. Louis. The lobby is pretty and was very clean. The pool is nice but I would stay away from the hot tub as it seemed to have a layer of dead skin floating at the top of it. The room itself is really nice and very clean it is a great stay for family or a solo get away the rooms look exactly like they do in the photos.

Please don’t make the mistake I made and read the reviews before booking. Is the place a complete dump…no…but most of the reviews are accurate regarding cleanliness and upkeep of the property. My family and I were there for six nights and housekeeping never came the entire stay. The room we had (104) had a musty smell as soon as we walked in the room and it was like the room needed a dehumidifier because it always felt moist in the room. Chair in room was covered with animal hair and looked like animal badly chewed up legs to chair. Place needs pest control for ants, spiders and other insects as I always saw (no bedbugs to report). Side door to building would not open with key and we were told their system was not working properly. Also, pool is closed just like all the other reviews say. As far as staff they seemed friendly but not sure what they did because there were a ton of them there but never had our room cleaned. Breakfast was better than what most are reporting and never had an issue finding what we wanted to eat. I would rate this hotel equivalent to a Super 8, but definitely not to the standards of a Marriott Hotel.
