Our family included various age members from 3 yrs to 65+ and each and everyone enjoyed the stay and vacation. Everyone felt starting at home. Breakfast was superb. Affordable cost. Polite and down to earth staffs. Thanks Mountain Hues. We loved a lot.

|13.72km from city centerWe have been travelling in India for the last 10 days and staying at 4& 5 star hotels which have been exceptional except for this hotel. We were booked into a princes room but were given their STD room; it looked nothing like the picture on their website. There was no bottled water, hair dryer for my wife or safe for our valuables. The bathroom flooded out with our first shower and looked like the Ganges in full flood. The front desk gave us a form to fill out that they didn't understand and was asking us to fill out our name and contact number in the passport section. When I tried to explain that this was for our passport details he said forget about it so we didn't fill in the booking form. We weren't advised where meals were to be served or relevant times. Not a good choice of a supposed 4 star hotel.

All staff are very much professional and polite. Pools maintenance is very good. Food quality for breakfast also excellent. We tried one day dinner from hotel restaurant, quality is very good. Definitely recommended for 3/4 days stays in munnar. Have good 1/2 restuarant nearby also. One additional point they have munnar chocolate factory just 2/3 mins walk. Look for deals the normal tariff looks slightly higher than usual.

|0.31km from city centerThis hotel looks lovely and quaint but when we arrived and were shown our rooms they smelt very damp and the bathroom was filthy. Speaking to other members of our group they seemed to have had better rooms, so we were shown two more before we were happy with our final choice. Even then, the bathroom could have been cleaner. There was wifi but only in the reception area which was very nice to sit in. The restaurant was also OK with breakfast ordered from the menu rather than buffet style and the service was good. What was strange is that the cloakroom facilities in the restaurant were great and a complete contrast to the ensuite bathrooms. This is something they should address. I would have rated this poor but the staff and restaurant tipped it into average. PS. Keep your windows closed, one of our group was asleep and monkeys came in, woke her up and messed up her room. Luckily she was save by the cleaners. Think we should have been warned about this on arrival!

The people are very kind and helpful, spontaneous with any requirement. I travelled with my family. Rooms are cozy. I view was brilliant--giving away to the entire valley! Food is also good for all taste buds! The plus was internet connectivity for urgent stuff. If you are a nature lover, it is perfect for solo stay too!!

First of all the roads getting to the resort were in terrible condition and were under construction and it was difficult and multiple detours had to be taken even getting there. Once I checked in I was taken in a dirty and beat up golf cart to the rooms. The rooms were smelly and sleazy and bathrooms dirty. Even after putting the AC on, the smell wouldnt go away. The manager offered to show me another room, and it was dirty and smelly too. I was alone and would have had to sit inside the room for my stay during evening hours because of how sleazy it felt. There is a little pond that has a little boat which is misleading. Pictures make it look like a lake. I politely told the manager that I didnt feel comfortable and that I would need to find another hotel. Tried to get a refund but was refused saying that I had been offered another room which was the same if not more sleazy than the first. Other members of the same group that were visiting from overseas that I met later had the same thing to say. the rating given to this resort needs to be seriously re-examined. I was able to thankfully find a much cleaner hotel close by, at that time of evening that definitely felt safer and a lot cleaner.

Rooms are comfortable and neat especially for families and Kids to reside. very closer to reach to tiger reserve zone at Thekkady. Mr.Rajesh is a nice gentleman and takes care of every visitor as a known individual. His guides to make for an outing were useful indeed. certainly we would recommend to our families and friends to opt ” Woodside Residency” to stay.

|1.09km from city centerStopped here for a light lunch, the restaurant is at the back of the building so no views. Staff were friendly enough. Sadly, kitchen staff don't really understand the concept of sandwiches. We ordered 2 soups, 4 different sandwiches and 2 portions of fries. The soup and fries arrived first. Then a cheese and tomato sandwich arrived, on burned toast, topped with cucumber and cherries! An egg sandwich arrived a few minutes later, fried egg on burned toast with the same toppings. A chicken sandwich arrived 5 minutes later, shredded chicken, loads of onion and mayo on toast. And finally the club sandwich arrived...6 slices of toast, 2 with chicken and onion, 2 with cheese and mushrooms and 2 with cucumber and tomato!! And all plates came with additional fries, the waiter should have said! The menu doesn't make it clear that the sandwiches are toasted and chef should ensure they are not all burned. Service was slow and staggered. Not somewhere that I could recommend for a light lunch.

The highlight was the owner and his wife that really looked after us and made us feel very special; one evening they even invited us into their kitchen to teach us how to make a local dish! The food overall was fantastic, and the tea and coffee superb. The rooms are large and comfortable, with good quality beds and linen. The surroundings are stunning, with beautiful gardens and special birds all around. It is important to note that Olive Brook does not have a liquor license so no alcohol is served.

We did not have much expectations, but we were wonderfully surprised by 1. The location of the resort. Truly this is the highest point in Munnar. Mist filled rooms and surroundings. 2. The AlaCarte dinner was very tasty and surprisingly reasonably priced. The breakfast was the highlight, with the Appam and chicken Stew taking the top price. They had quite good spread as well. Hats off to Chef Jijesh and team for making this memorable for the food alone. 3. Excellent views from the bedrooms and balcony. The sunset view was supposed to be great, but we missed that due to rains. 4. The rooms were neat and well kept and the staff were also very responsive to any requests. There was a common camp fire, a play area and a view point. The road to the property was also fine if you are coming from the Hydel Park side and it is just 4km from the bridge. If you are approaching from Munnar Bypass then the road is good, but steep for the last 5 km. A good place to relax and spent some quality time with family with some excellent food..

|4.07km from city centerThe property is a beautiful, nestled amongst tea plantation and with 29 semi detached cottages, the stay offers privacy and views of the plantation right from your balcony- yes every cottage has a balcony facing the tea plantation. You can walk down to most of the view points like Pothamedu view point. And if not, take your pics stepping right outside the property gates. We stayed in luxury cottage with 3 adults and 1 child. The rooms are spacious and furnished, not luxury level but enough to give you a good stay. In the evening, the clouds descend onto your balcony literally. The restaurant offers complimentary breakfast and paid lunch and dinner (Rs 400 plus taxes) and it was good option. The road leading to the property from view point is a bit rough and needs good driving skills. If you are uncomfortable, pls ask property to send a driver. Pls do carry BSNL sim since no other service works here. Ask for Wi-Fi password at property. Overall I will definitely recommend Tea Valley Munnar to all my friends

Rooms: spacious & comfortable with a good view. But it looks old. Bathrooms: flush wasn't working multiple times. They fixed it though. Wifi: didn't get wifi 90% of the time. Food: decent breakfast and dinner. The dinner we had on the first night was horrible. In my opinion stick to the basics. Don't order anything fancy. Parking: decent parking space. Animal spotting: none. Overall experience: quite average.

The foremost attraction is the fantastic infinity pool overlooking the majestic mountains. The luxury suites and crown suites are best offering the views which family and friends will enjoy. Rating 9/10 now moving on to the amenities - there is nothing much to do. It is a small property with a few kids playing area, a few swans roaming around and indoor games. Fare enough to consider. Rating: 7/10 now one aspect which disappointed me is the food. They charged 700 per head for the buffet but no considerable items were on the dish. Notably the dishes were also not up to the mark - both in terms of price as well as taste. A few of the customers who stayed at the resort also were pointing out the same aspect. This is one aspect that the resort should look into! rating: 5/10

We booked this only one main reason, which was for tree house experience, which was denied for us. The resort claimed, we didnt book a tree house one instead its a very very basic simple double room. There isnt an option for picking a tree house and nowhere it was mentioned its a simple double room. For the price i paid, its simply not worthy. The only good thing enjoyed was the food, and the team at the restaurant had the smile and provided best customer service. Thanks to them. Please be little cautious with this resort, as there are simple rooms and also tree houses. Please make sure to pick the tree house and not the deluxe room and its not worthy the price they ask, also its completely remote from munnar.

|0.84km from city centerLake Zone resort is the place to stay when visiting Chinnakanal, Munnar, Suryanelli or any of the stunning locations in the area. From the moment of arrival to the moment of check out, the service from the hotel manager and the other staff was exceptional. There are staff on call 24/7 so there is always someone to cater to you needs, but also it provides a homely and secure environment. The rooms were exceptionally furnished and were adequately sized, but the main highlight is the view. We were lucky to stay in the Lake View rooms with a truly stunning vista overlooking Anayirangal lake, which we were able to view from the veranda and our rooms. When staying at Lake Zone, there is no need to search for places to eat elsewhere. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort where there is a wide variety of dishes on offer; it was lovely to have our meals on the veranda overlooking the mountains. The resort has direct contacts to trusted tour guides who will take you on a Jeep ride to see the sunrise at Kollukamalai. Seeing the spectacular views with the mist shrouding the mountains is truly unforgettable. All in all, a truly magical holiday, and much of that is down to the outstanding service provided at the Lake Zone resort.

balcony had a view but no seating arrangement so it was difficult to enjoy the view for a longer period. Dental kit was not provided in the bathroom. Our main concern was no hot water when required. When complained about it they were preparing the hot water separately and provided which is a big drawback. I booked pool view rooms and i was given completely different rooms but the resort people didn't even bother to talk with us before providing or changing. Swimming pool was bit dirty and there was no regular cleaning.
