I was very satisfied with the hotel for the first time. When I stayed in Japan, I was still kneeling on the floor to help us arrange the room. It was a bit scary, and there were many hotel activities. Be sure to participate. Many of the free items are very cost-effective. Less, it is more expensive to have to take a taxi, everything else is perfect, the hotel can go to Hachinohe bus at 9:30 in the morning, it seems to be 10:30 to Aomori House, I do n’t remember, you can communicate with the hotel to book and connect By bus, there is a shuttle bus from Hachinohe Station to the hotel at 13:40. Please contact the hotel for details. The time is for reference only.

The hotel is about 20 minutes on foot from the core area of Aochuan. The nearest bus stop is Shiwada Onsen Township Station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. The hotel is halfway up the mountain and not in the core area of the hot spring town. The surrounding environment is good. The rooms are large and the facilities are quite complete, especially the dinner provided by the hotel is superb and the breakfast is very good; the hotel has indoor and open air, but the open air scenery is just like the general. There is also a traffic information to share with you. The hotel provides free pick-up service from New Aomori, Aomori Station (13:30) and Hachinohe Station (11:00), but the pick-up time is a bit embarrassing, not very good to arrange follow-up activity. In addition, I have to spit it out. When I contacted Aomori Station, the customer service provided by Ctrip provided an error message, saying that Aomori Station did not provide pick-up. I took a train from Aomori Station to Shin-Aomori and took the shuttle bus. The result was followed by the connection. The bus took a ride back to Aomori Station, wasting time and fare.

The autumn foliage change season is the peak season to visit Lake Towada. It offers fishing and sampling tasty lake salmon Kokanee; relaxing in Yasumiya town's onsens and hiking around national park. Hotel Towadaso is at a very convenient location where dense forests surround the property and is an easy walk to the scenic lakefront of double caldera lake. Visitors can enjoy beauty of the vibrant colored forest trees and their reflections onto the shimmering blue water surface. Hotel is also a short walk to and from JR East Bus Yasumiya terminal which serving the entire 14 km of Oirase Gorge scenic routes then split journey route at Yakiyama like a Y; then onward to JR Hachinohe or JR Shin-Aomori/ Aomori. Hotel Towadaso is a large tourist ryokan with Japanese room settings, large indoor onsen and forest views of outdoor onsen, entertainment center, restaurants, vending machines, lounges and souvenir shop. Guests can choose with or without breakfast, or half-board options. Hotel also provides guests with free shuttles to and from Hachinohe JR Station West Exit. We enjoyed one night stay in its quiet setting, good choices of indoor/outdoor onsens and leisure walks to the lakefront and lake shore promenade. The only drawback is Towadaso is not totally smoke-free. For the non-smokers like us can still be bothered by the odors from the cigarette smoking. Non-English speaking service staff is also a challenge for the westerners.

We stayed at Lake Towada/Towadako Lakeside 2 nights during our extended DIY tour of Tohoku this July. We used it between Mutsu/Shimokita and Hachimantai-Akita/Komagatake - and used it as a basecamp for hiking the Hakkoda Mountains and visiting Oirase Stream. From Mutsu, it was a 2-3 hour drive (it's about an hour to Hachimantai, and another 2 to Akita-Komagatake). The hotel is one of very few lake-shore hotels that is not out of business and/or boarded up, which is very sad. This was shocking to me personally because Lake Towada is beautiful and has always been pushed hard by the tourism industry. Looking at googlemap, the peninsula where the hotel is looks thriving - but when you actually arrive, it is shocking how economically depressed the area is. That said, the hotel was very good and when we were there, the dining room was about 60% full of Japanese couples and families on vacation. There is free parking on site. Although some rooms have lake-views, ours did not. My sister visited the on-site onsen and said it was decent. You can walk from the hotel easily along the scenic lake-shore, visit the Maidens and local shrines. We purchased a reservation with breakfast and dinner included - requesting the no-fish option. The dinners were set affairs that were large and elaborate - with 12-15 different items. On our first night, a Japanese couple bought us a big Sapporo because they thought our chopstick skills were so great! The breakfast buffet was 70:30 Japanese:Western. We strongly recommend including meals in the reservation because there are not a lot of nearby options given the economic situation. Hakkoda hiking is just over an hour away - and was a more challenging drive than we were expecting. We also enjoyed the Oirase Stream area (along the way) - but pretty much all of that "trail" is roadside, which was convenient but I wouldn't call it remote. We did not partake in any boat-touring of the lake; that is still going on - but likely serving only bus-touring daytrippers. We sincerely hope tourism returns to Lake Towada.

I am afraid that the maple peak season can not book six months in advance, because most hotels and restaurants do not have data, so I have chosen this seemingly inconspicuous Japanese hotel. 1F The hot springs and rooms are spacious and clean, but the sockets are slightly less; The ingredients are fresh and the service staff is very kind. If you can't finish your food, you can ask for help to pack it up (and remind you not to eat overnight). Although the address is in Akita, it is only a few minutes walk from JR バス Station. It is also very convenient to go for a walk along the shore of Shihetian Lake.

We arrived at the hotel at 10 am on October 29, 2019. They asked us to store our luggage first, and a group of six people could go out and walk around. It may be because of Japan’s economic relations that many nearby hotels have been closed in recent years. The atmosphere is sluggish and the hotel lobby has a good atmosphere. Large floor-to-ceiling windows, outside is the lakeside with excellent scenery, but the equipment is slightly old. Near the JR Tohoku bus station and the boarding point, the lakes and mountains have a lot of beautiful red leaves and are worth a visit. The dinner is very rich, diverse and delicious. Because there are not many tourists, there are not many types of breakfast preparations, but it is a bit simpler but very practical.

We stayed 1 nights with our family on weekends. You can enjoy the open view of Lake Towada and lawn square from the room and dining. You can also play children in the square with balls. Dinner was a full course of French, and the inclusion and taste were great and very satisfied. The kids menu was also composed of only children's favorites, and the children were satisfied. The bath was a large open-air bath and was comfortable. The facilities are old, but they are well maintained and can stay without problems.

The day before, Sakura Sanmai in Hirosaki, and when you run for an hour by car from there, a log house style hotel in the silver world still appears. When I stopped at the entrance, the doorman came out to take my luggage. It may happen, but there are not many services. Stayed in a suite a little larger with family 3 people. I checked it with a trip advisor in advance, and it was recommended from the mezzonet if it was three people. (The room in the mezzone that I saw on my return seemed a bit narrow) The terrace of the room was a silver beech forest, and the weather was good, so I enjoyed the very nice and magnificent scenery. I expected to eat in advance, but the result was more than expected. It was an original product 々 that utilized local ingredients and woven the feeling of Japanese. Recently, the house that had not accepted the cottage system was delicious and finished until the end. The only thing that was a little unfortunate was that you would not pour champagne if you didn't call. There are few veteran staff and many young new people, and it is a future problem (although the other is the same) The breakfast was very delicious. I was a little late at 9 o'clock and I was only 々 family, but I made it all in time. I've been traveling in color 々 so far, but the meal was the highest level in the past. We will pick you up and drop you off at any time to the famous acid hot spring and it is free, so let's go. This is also a meteorite.

Because the sour soup hot spring is close to Bajiatian Mountain, the marshland, and the Austrian into the Sui River, plus I don't like to move the hotel; so I chose this location as the center. The sour soup hot spring is a relatively old-fashioned hotel, the room is not very large, but can put two suitcases. The room does not include toilets, bathrooms; it is really just sleeping! To be groomed, go to the public restroom outside. The hot springs are really good and the springs are slightly acidic. It is excellent for the body, especially the day trip. Soak a bubble and eliminate fatigue immediately. I heard that it is especially useful for pain problems. Hot springs have male and female soups. And the famous mixed baths have time-sharing, men and women for a period of time, so that shy guests can bubble at will. Of course, there are also mixed baths! After all, sour soup is very famous for thousands of people. Ha ~ If you are not afraid of mixed baths, you can try it. The food is acceptable and can't expect too much. After all, it is difficult to have good ingredients like Tokyo in the northeast area. The only thing that I remember is the water. Sweet, like water in a clear spring. It is rare for city people! Be sure to drink a few more glasses, which will help you to health. P.S. The bed is mainly "dami", and it may be a bit hard to sleep on the floor! In addition, the sound insulation is a bit poor, and the footsteps in the corridor are often heard. If you come to Bajiatian Mountain, you may as well come and soak in a hot spring ♨️.

Coming down from Mount Hakkoda, we drove for a short while to arrive at the hotel for the night. Hotel Jogakura (城ヶ倉), surrounded by virgin beech forest, is a Scandinavian-style resort hotel blessed with majestic natural scenery. With good access to Lake Towada and Oirase Gorge, it is the perfect base for enjoying the seasonal activities in the area. The hotel has 30 rooms designed with a luxurious, warm and welcoming ambiance, using plenty of wood, reminiscent of European villas. We are staying at the Grand Comfort (グランドコンフォート) Room, all located on the mountain side, and the beech forest can be seen from the spacious living room and bedroom. The scenery changes colours in each of the four seasons, making you forget the passage of time. This western-style room is of 42 sq. metres in size, and got its own open-air hot spring bath. It is pure pleasure to open the windows to look out at the forest, surrounded by cool air and the scent of nature from the mountains, and immersing in the clear spring water. The Simmons beds also promises the best sleep to guests during the stay. Every morning, the chef will select the fresh fish caught in the waters of Aomori, and seasonal local vegetables and beef grown in the area. Dinner is served at the Dining Room with fireplace, where guests can enjoy kaiseki cuisine that changes from season to season. Breakfast is of buffet style and served in the banquet room. Guests can enjoy seasonal ingredients such as local farmers' vegetables and Sakamoto (坂本) poultry eggs. Below was our dinner menu: Sakizuke (先附) - Mushroom with Spicy Konbu (茸汐辛昆布和え), Crab with vinaigrette vegetable (蟹膾), Grilled Eggplant Tofu (焼茄子豆腐) Sashimi (造り) - Blue Fin Tuna (本鮪), Strait Salmon (海峡サーモン), Conch (真螺), Greater Amberjack (寒八) Yakimono (焼物) - Grilled Scallop with Cheese (帆立チーズ焼) Konro (焜炉) - Aomori Beef on Stove (青森県産牛柳川) Futamono (蓋物) - Crab Tofu (蟹豆腐) Konno mono (香の物) - Pickled dry squid and konbu (松前漬) Tome-wan (止椀) - Fermented fish broth (鰊切込み汁) Shokuji (食事) - Glutinous Rice on Snow Crab Shell (ズワイ蟹甲羅おこわ) Dessert (水果子) - Strawberry Cream Mochi (クリーム苺大福) The public bath of the hotel offers an open-air bath which can be used all season. Guests can enjoy the blissful moments while watching the fresh greens, vibrant red leaves, and the strict white silver beech forest in each season, and at the same time listening to the mountain stream of Tori Takizawa (鳥滝沢). There is also an inner bath with a big bath, mist sauna, rain shower and jacuzzi. The onsen is a chloride spring (塩化物泉) with temperature of 50.2 degree Celsius, suitable for healing neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, coldness and fatigue (神経痛、筋肉痛、関節痛、冷え症、疲労回復). The bath is also open for day-trip guests from 11:30 to 16:00, but is exclusive for guests from 16:00 to 23:00, as well as 5:00 to 10:00. On the next morning a buffet breakfast was served which was nice and delicious. The overall experience at the hotel was good, as we can enjoy a Scandinavian ac

The private parking lot is small in car width, but free. The room and bath are roughly the same as the supermarket hotel in Hachinohe. The difference is that there is no tea bag in the room. When I switched the air conditioner, it smelled very moldy. The bed feels a bit moldy. I thought I would change the room, but it is troublesome to move my luggage together, so it is only one night. The indoor slippers are too wide to walk. I want a power outlet on the pillow. Close to the window glass with a crow's fun. The breakfast menu is more than Hachinohe's super hotel and the taste is the same. The content of the free breakfast is good, so the overall evaluation was ★3.

Towada's route inn has been a long time. It is good not to be troubled because the parking lot is large. The public bath here is an artificial hot spring, but it is better to be soaked more relaxed than a small bathtub in the room! The breakfast at the root inn is generally highly valued, but this is a very normal level. The great thing is that the winner is delicious with natural intestines. The milk was a bit depowdered and unfortunate.
