Aliante was the perfect resort for my recent work trip to Vegas. The rooms are very comfortable, well appointed and very clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the ****** area has enough f&b offerings to keep you happy if you don’t want to venture far. The area around the hotel is safe and pretty quiet with a decent amount of places to grab a bite to eat within a short drive. It is pretty darn far away from the “normal” Vegas action, but I have to assume you know that if you are considering staying here.

I had just spent the night in another My Place Hotel in Wyoming. In Wyoming, the value and overall experience was very good. This hotel in North Las Vegas is off a main very busy street. It was also nearly $80 more than the same hotel room in Wyoming. The room was basically identical to that of the one in Wyoming, but it was considerably more expensive.

Stayed here for 2 nights but not consecutively. Both times are room was extremely clean. It is really a great place to stay. Plenty of food options. Just remember this isn’t one of those fancy strip resorts but it’s a great place to stay and gamble with an extremely friendly staff.

Lured by current promotional offer and good reviews, booked room at the Cannery Hotel in north LV. Aware that a $14.68 hotel service fee is assessed (per night) in addition to room rate and tax. At check-in I was also requested to authorize $100 damage fee (on credit card) to be refunded at departure provided no damage. Seemed reasonable as know many party-goers visit LV. Rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. All amenities were available at lobby desk. As promised room was smoke-free with no carryover from ******. Be mindful that when you log on to WIFI you have your choice of free service or a faster speed for a fee. Don't select the wrong button. The free WIFI speed worked just fine. Hotel location also nearby to many eateries and Starbucks. Ready to rate our stay as 5 until check-out. Employee, Glenda, quoted total amount that included 2 hotel service fees for 1 night. Also said hotel fee would be deducted from my $100 security deposit and refund would take about 5 days. When I questioned she was unable to offer explanation for duplicate service fee. She responded to my repeated inquiries by saying there were other customers waiting in line behind me. Basically she wanted me to move along even though I was also a customer. Ultimately I surmised that due to their bookkeeping I should expect 2 charges on my card. One for the room rate plus tax. A separate credit for $85.32, my $100 less the $14.68 hotel service fee. When I continued to press for the explanation of a 2nd service fee she handed me the name/phone number to call for disputes. Too soon to see any charges but will be prepared to pursue if necessary. Was a disappointing end to a pleasant stay.

This time I chose the Fairfield Inn NW for a short stay in Vegas. A perfect hotel that met my needs. My room (upgrade to Suite due to Bonvoy Gold) was super clean and equipped with all comforts. A coffee machine, an empty refrigerator, very fast WiFi and even 2 large TV screens are always nice to have in your room. The bathroom was spacious enough and equipped with a pleasant shower with hot water. Sufficient towels (for 3 people) were also standard. The downside of the room is the noise. You can hear exactly when guests walk on the floor above you. Breakfast was included as standard and was sufficient with scrambled eggs, sausages, muffins, various yogurts, boiled eggs, fruit and coffee, tea and bottled water. Not very spectacular but okay not to leave the house with an empty stomach in the morning. The staff is relatively young, but above all always friendly and helpful. I think that is very important to feel at home right when you check in. Parking is free and can be found right in front of the entrance. So you don't have to travel long distances to get to your room. The location is ideal with several large shops and well-known restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Are there any drawbacks? Perhaps the room rates that are currently quite on the high side. $300+ per night I think is quite pricey for a suburb in Las Vegas. So be careful when you book and check whether Marriott offers temporary offers. That makes a huge difference to your budget!

We arrived in Vegas late night and were headed up to the National Parks in Utah so we stopped here for the night on points. It is a solid place to stay, on par with other we'll run Hampton properties. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, great breakfast, safe parking lot, easy on/off I-15. We would definitely stay again.

Property is right off I-15 and about a 20 minute drive from LAS airport. I know this is a pet peeve of mine and I will get it out of the way. It takes 3 seconds to say... 'Thank you for being a Titanium member'. It is pathetic that Marriott does not bother to train their staff in this most basic customer friendly task. Room was OK, although on the small side for calling something a 'suite'. Separate Toilet/Sink, compared to the Shower/Sink which is a nice feature. Microwave and fridge in each room. AC unit was a hassle. Even if I put it on a constant Fan mode, every time the AC starts up, it makes a loud noise and with considerable vibration and rattling. Poor quality sleep for the 5 nights I spent here. Breakfast was a decent spread with plenty of variety. High marks for breakfast. Fresh fruit as well available each day. Day 2 I go to the Fitness Center. I notice there are no towels (see picture). I go up to the front desk (about 7:00 am) and mention to the gentleman that there are no towels in the fitness room. To my astonishment, he tells me ”they dont provide towels in the fitness room” but he will be happy to give me some towels and hands me 2 huge Bath towels. I ask him if he has hand towels and he repeats the statement that the hotel does not provide towels in the fitness room. Picture I have included shows used hand towels in the basket!!! 2 days later, I see a nice fresh stack of hand towels in the fitness room (see picture). It is unbelievable that Springhill Suites cant even bother to train their front desk staff on what is common practice at the hotel. We need to aim higher than a pulse and body temperature for these positions.

The bed is so high and soft. The non-smoking room is on the so-called first floor, which is actually half a floor dug down. (The second and third floors have a heavy smell in the smoking room) No slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush. The environment is average, even after 11 o'clock, no cleaning is allowed, and a bucket of garbage cannot be thrown away. The staff is very mixed, next to it is a gas station and truck parking lot, some restaurants, and McDonald's and seven eleven on the opposite road. The location is far to the north, and it costs thirty or forty dollars to uber to the LV center.

This type of hotel was originally a convenient person to travel by car. Therefore, it is normal to deviate from the urban area. However, relying on high speed, it is not too noisy and quite satisfactory. I said in advance that there are two adults and a child. When I opened the door, I found that the hotel had already provided us with three-person towels and various supplies. The room is also oversized and clean. Recommended recommendation
