We stayed here for one night, while on vacation. The location is great - very close to the Altstadt and easy to find. Checkin is the usual German standard, efficient, helpful but not exactly friendly or warm. The rooms are great. Modern, well lit and ventilated, with provisions for our dog that was travelling with us. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom modern and spacious, with a large and deep bath. The shower is a safety nightmare. No handles, slippery bath floor and a big step to the floor. Be careful. The claimed parking on their website is a myth. There is temporary parking available in front of the hotel, for checkin and then you have to drive to a nearby public parking lot within a couple of blocks. The food at the hotel is unimpressive. The evening selection was so limited, we decided to go out and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the nearby restaurants. Breakfast was little better: an unsurprising selection of warm and cold food with machine made coffee. Nothing was wrong with any of it; it was just surprisingly standard for a 300+ Euro a night hotel. Overall we loved the room and the facilities but were under-whelmed by the efficient but not-exactly warm service and rather boring food offerings.

This is a nice hotel in a good location. If you come by train and carry luggage take a taxi for 10 Euros. The ride is 10 to 15 minutes. No way can one do this walking in 15 minutes no matter what another reviewer claimed, let alone with suitcases. However, it is worth it because the price/performance relation of the hotel is very good. There may not be a cattle in the rooms but tea and coffee is available for free at any time. The rooms are in a good state and the one to the backyard was extremely quiet. Given the little circulation in this neighbourhood it is likely that other rooms are calm too. Equipment and cleanliness are very good. Everything seems to be in good order. A great plus is the helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff. I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Hotel International am Theater is located a 15 minute walk or a 3 stop bus ride from the central train station. Upon arrival, I was provided with a clean, comfortable room with strong wifi. There were no English speaking television channels that I could find, however, none had been advertised. The hotel is a short walk from the city center and most of the local attractions. There are many options for good food and drink in the area. As a bonus, the hotel has some bicycles available for hire, The cycles are not fancy, however, provide sturdy, basic transportation around the extensive network of cycling infrastructure in the area. At 8 euro for a day, it is a real bargain. Breakfast was above even the high standards one expects of family run establishments in Germany. As always one must consider the price point when rating a hotel. This establishment provides a good clean room and an excellent breakfast at a bargain price. As well, helpful staff and cycles for hire make for a great stay.

Stayed for 4 nights, and apart from a misunderstanding regarding "cocktails" on our last night, I have to say this hotel, ( especially the staff who are brilliant), should be seriously considered if you are going to stay for any duration in Munster. Its exceptionally clean, comfortable and the location is fantastic. One down side for me, the bar... (Not because of the misunderstanding ! But because on most nights, it was empty, (maybe because of the time we visited maybe ?)). Regardless of that though, really enjoyed our stay there, and would highly recommend you to consider it if you are visiting this beautiful city !

The room itself was really clean. However, the decor is strikingly outdated. The hotel was really quiet: during our stay we saw two other guests. The most uncomfortable part of our stay was that the service personnel came to the room unannounced without knocking on the door more than once. To be honest, this felt really creepy - even though they probably just were trying to do their job. Regardless, I felt uncomfortable staying in the room when I could not be sure that no one is entering without permission. The breakfast was mediocre. But beware of the steel thermos in which the coffee is served: hot coffee and steam can explode on you when you are trying to pour it. This happened to us twice and it lead to burns. We tried to explain the incident the second time it occurred but the staff member was not interested (maybe we had a language barrier as we do not speak German). All and all, we survived but definitely would not visit again.

It says here on Trip Advisor that there is free breakfast included in the price but this is not the case. There are literally 3 or 4 bakeries right next to the hotel so we went the cheap route. No regrets! The rooms are clean, showers were warm if you don't shower too long. Everything cleaned and tidied up daily. Mini fridge in the room. Heavy curtains against the light as well as rolling window shutters. The one problem was that there is no airco. In the winter this is probably fine but we visiting during a particularly sunny weekend. With the windows closed the temperature was unbearable so we had no choice but to open the windows up. Especially in the weekend the parties and crowds of drunken students, walking with music on bluetooth speakers towards Münster Hbf, kept us up all through the night. They did not stop until 6 in the morning. Sunday-Monday we finally had a decent night's sleep. There was still some noise (traffic light beeping, cars going by etc) but nothing as bad as Friday-Sunday. There are rooms on the other side of the hotel, facing some inner courtyard, which I think must be a lot better in this regard. In the winter I'm also sure this is not a problem. The location is spot on, very short distance to the train station and only a short walk to the historic city center. Plenty of restaurants, lunch and breakfast places in the area. Reception is nice and friendly (and yes, they are on the 4th floor, it wasn't a problem for us). No surprises or extra charges. Do recommend, but only if a quiet room is available on the other side of the hotel.

I selected the H.ostel Münster because it was highly rated and near the train station. I thought I booked a bedroom with a queen. Much to my surprise I had booked a more vertical accommodation - bunkbeds. I decided it was meant to be, because I had never stayed in a hostel and I figured at 57, it was about time. I'm glad I did. I enjoyed my two-day stay more than I thought I would when I first stepped into the small room. It was apparently brand new, sp**** and spotless, with two foam cubes and a plywood box the only adornment. The bathroom was equally clean and equally sp****. The bunkbeds also looked new, with stenciled quotes above the sleeping nooks. Everything was so cute, I actually slept in the upper bunk even though they told me the hotel was empty and I'd be alone. Gotta admit I was proud I didn't cheat and sleep in the (much easier to access) lower bunk. Not smart but lotsa fun. And yes, only a quick 8 minute walk to the train station. (But next time I'll take the lower bunk.)

This is a good clean comfortable Hotel close to the wonderful Münster City Center. I have stayed in this hotel regularly over the past 15 years with no complaints but this was the last time. I booked via Booking.com and when I checked out they would not give an Invoice for the stay informing me the booking agency would issue the receipt this as I expected never happened as the website I used (Booking.com) had used a 3rd party agency. I don’t have the time or motivation for chasing something that up until now all Hotels have issued at check out, no doubt a blaming game would happens not us them and I could spend hours of frustration trying to get something that I should already have. Booking.com app now deleted Account cancelled. Tryp Hotel has lost a loyal customer.

Stayed just one night on a flying visit to nearby Hamm. I booked direct with them and emails were responded to quickly, and helpfully, so a good start. I had a 2nd floor courtyard facing single room. You could see the rooftops opposite, and a glimpse of the courtyard below but you are above so don’t expect a proper view - which was fine as I didn’t, I just hoped it would mean it was quiet which it was! Room was lovely, very very spacious for a single, comfiest hotel bed I’ve slept in for a long time! I had a peaceful nights rest, a great club sandwich with fries for tea in my room, and the breakfast spread was great, loads of choice, lots of drink choices, really good. The staff were all lovely, helping me access WiFi (probably don’t get many English guests so it wasn’t as clear as it first sounded), even coming out in the torrential rain and gales the next morning as I left to put the car parking token in the barrier for me as I was driving a right handed car! Really enjoyed my short stay, would definitely come back in better weather if exploring further afield.

We stayed here end of August in a lakeside suite. The hotel is dated but generally well maintained. Excellent swimming pool. The room was huge but the roof on the balcony was filthy and could do with a good sweep. The problem started in the restaurant. My quarter glass of very flat prosecco was the remnants of a bottle. I was told prosecco didn’t have many bubbles. Our glasses of wine arrived after we had eaten our meal. There were enough staff serving but the general attitude was rather slapdash. I think this hotel is suited to people who enjoy a very laid back approach and have lots of time on their hands. A bit of retraining wouldn’t go amiss.

This hotel is located about a 20-30 minute drive out of town. We prefer to stay in town, but because of the time of year we were there we didn't find anything for the 3 nights we needed. As it turns out, we couldn't have been happier! We only spent one full day in town, and we were advised by Landhaus Eggert where to park to avoid driving through the city. Our room was large, had a door onto the garden. the pace is charming, and the front desk very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner there twice and the food was very good. On our 3rd night we ate in their sister restaurant in town which was also very good. Our 2nd full day was spent driving around Muensterland and visiting 3 different moated castles - what a treat! We managed to pick 3 different types, so they were all interesting.

What an amazingly cool hotel. Must be the coolest hotel I’ve ever seen and stayed at. Such a cool interior (and exterior) were old and new meet. The hotel part is fresh and clean there were the entrance is situated in the “old” part of the hotel. And a bit bizar is that the reach the hotel rooms, you have to cross a part of the complex that is kind of situated outside. Ok, sounds weird but I highly recommend to see for yourself. Breakfast is a bit expensive, we did not book this with our room. Center of Munster is a 20 min walk away with enough bakeries and bars to have very nice gerrrrman breakfast (and they know how to make breakfast ;)). We had one evening Dinner at EAT, the hotel restaurant. This was nice and not to expensive and large portions. I can recommend the pizzeria just outside of the hotel. Have a look at my other reviews for this restaurant.

Our room was good size and bathroom, too, with all amenities working perfectly. Air con but we preferred to open the 2 windows, which was great. Bed was comfy. We didn't book breakfast, it's €16 pp, as we don't est much in the morning, and there are several bakeries close by for a snack. Munster is beautiful, and this hotel is the perfect place to explore it all. Highly recommend.

A very pleasant surprise. We were on our way from Copenhagen to Paris and stayed at the hotel mainly due to its proximity to the autobahn so did not expect much but it was wonderful. The main part of the hotel was surrounded by a moat and meadows and a golf course behind. beautiful trees and old buildings. Parkhotel Hohenfeld has many advantages. It is situated in park-like surroundings, very quiet, with ample parking possibilities in the grounds. The architecture is interesting. The hotel is situated just outside Münster-Roxel, about 6 kilometers from the historic center of Münster. As Münster offers several excellent multistorey car parks just outside the historic center, getting into Münster is no problem. As Münster-Roxel is just round the corner, selecting a restaurant for dinner won't be a problem; if you don't like to go out for dinner, embedded in the hotel is a good restaurant. The staff of Parkhotel Hohenfeld is helpful, polite and well trained. The buffet breakfast is plentiful with a large selection of hot and cold food. Finally a word about the rooms. Parkhotel Hohenfeld is presented as a four star hotel and I have rated the hotel four points (very good) and I will return here gladly, but I will give my honest opinion about the rooms. The rooms are in my opinion not up to a four star standard. Don't get me wrong. The rooms are clean, well maintained and in good repair, but the four star luxury is missing. There are no coffee and tea making facilities, no safe and no fridge. Furthermore, the beds are too hard, but that is of course a very personal issue. The flat screen TV is from a previous generation, with a relatively small screen ann no USB port for facilitating streaming. The bathroom is a bit cramped, and the taps etc. show their age. But generally the bathroom is also clean and well maintained. But despite the lack of some luxury in the room, Parkhotel Hohenfeld is my favourite hotel in Münster.

This hotel, the environment is OK, the best thing is the location. Especially during the epidemic, friends who need to do PCR and LGM accounting and testing at Frankfurt Airport are the first to recommend this hotel. Centogene, who does PCR, is downstairs of this hotel and can be reached in two or three minutes. It takes five minutes to walk to the check-in counter at Lufthansa for returning home from Terminal 1. It is only for flying to China from the medical center🇨🇳 The inspection center of LGM for passenger inspections takes only ten minutes at most! There are various fast foods and supermarkets nearby, which are particularly convenient, so that it will give birth to a sense of happiness inexplicably. In terms of service, solala🤭 it; I stayed in the hotel for three days, one day, I cleaned the bathroom, or, I called the room service and asked; for the remaining two days, there was no waiter to clean, maybe it was an epidemic The reason is ignored!

It is very convenient to get out from the airport. It is only a five-minute walk away. Below the hotel are various shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The hotel looks very high-end, the front desk staff are also very enthusiastic and polite, and the epidemic prevention measures are very good. The room is relatively large, the mattress is soft and hard, the pillow height is also very suitable, and the TV is particularly large. There are also many small details for guests to consider. The only flaw is that hygiene is not so perfect. But in general, it is worth the price and it is a very good experience. I will bring my family back in the future.

The location is good, just next to the train station, we left the group that day, and we arrived at the train station for a short while, and the little girl at the front desk of the hotel is very beautiful. Like Barbie, the breakfast at the hotel is quite rich. The drinks in the small fridge in the room are free to drink, and there is morning tea in the morning tea. It is to order one day in advance, and it is cheaper than early booking. Still a little expensive

Stayed in the hotel for the second time, the location is excellent, the service is in place, I still choose here next time. There are delicious Chinese and local dishes in the surrounding area, and Zell Avenue and Luxury Street are also within walking distance. The architectural style of the hotel is also my favorite.

Breakfast is very expensive at 28 Euros. The hotel is in a good location. It is less than 10 minutes walk from the commercial street and S-rail train. It is convenient to travel. The hotel has general facilities and is a budget hotel. There is no door in the shower. It is easy to splash outside, the bath water is very good, the bathroom will have the smell of sewers. The deepest feeling is that the room is very dry, the quilt is very thick, and the nose and throat are very uncomfortable at night. In short, the price is not very high.
