The staff really shine in this hotel. I had a few hours to kill before my flight and I asked for massage recommendations nearby, and they called about five establishments and gave me the lowdown on price, quality and proximity. And they also called us a cab that took USD. Really went above and beyond. The cleaning crew is also very thorough. We came back to an immaculate room every night. Hotel itself is situated in a great neighborhood, tons of bars and restaurants nearby that are top notch, plus there's a pool, a decent gym, and good dining area to have a coffee and work (if you have to). Thanks Ilum staff, especially ADRIAN and MILAGROS for welcoming my fiance and I into Argentina. Highly recommend.

This hotel was recommended by our tour organizer Say Hueque, and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was really good. We were close to many excellent restaurants and the front desk was willing to make restaurant recommendations. The restaurant in the hotel, where breakfast was provided, was convenient for drinks and snacks during the day. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, ( in English as our Spanish is non existent). If ever back in Buenos Aries we would definitely try to stay at Hotel Clasico.

From the moment you arrive you will not want to leave. The staff are the best we’ve ever experienced, so kind, helpful and wanting to make your stay memorable the entire time. You feel like you’re in a sanctuary - the building wrapped in greenery, the beautiful old wisteria tree, the cat, the design, the food and all the little thoughtful details make this place truely unique. On arrival you receive a guide with recommendations on the best restaurants, retail and sights to explore taking away all the guess work. We stayed at Home at the beginning and end of our 1 month trip to Argentina and we can’t wait to return. There is no better place to stay in Buenos Aires and Palermo is the place to be. Thanks for having us!

We stayed here for a week and were not disappointed. The rooms are ideal, safe and clean and good value. The breakfast is excellent and a great choice. Location is superb - 5/10 minutes walk into the hub of Palermo with it’s great array of bars/shops/restaurants/entertainment etc. Kryss on the front desk was very helpful and advised us on trips and things to do. Best of all she sorted our tickets and transport to the Boca Juniors match which is a must do if they’re playing while you’re in town. Great and cheap Parrilla Al Carbon directly opposite hotel - great service and rib eye steaks and Malbec! Recommend a day trip to Uruguay - just go to Puerto Madera and book your ferry tickets 60 minutes before departure c £50 return. Recommend Be Hollywood all day long !

We spent one night in room 402. The hotel is about a 45 minute drive from the international airport under good conditions. Our room had hardwood floor, free wifi in the room and throughout the hotel which worked well. The bathroom has one odd and annoying feature. The bathroom sink has one faucet handle to control water flow. It is very challenging to operate and I sprayed myself more than once trying to control it. Management is aware of the issue but it is part of the design of the hotel. The penalty for this is that it is hard to control water flow rate and temperature. The room had a fridge, TV, 1 American style wall plug but 7 Argentinian ones. There is a 2 drawer chest, a closet with 4 hangers, desk/chair, 1 queen bed, 2 night stands, shower (but no tub). There is a small outdoor patio with a table and two chairs overlooking a noisy street. There is also a luggage rack and expresso maker but it costs 2USD to make a tiny cup from the machine. No food/snack/water is free of charge. There is a safe and the air conditioning is controlled by a wall mounted panel. We had dinner here and the steak and risotto dishes were quite good. The hotel gave us a card for 2 free drinks. There is a guest computer in the hotel and below ground level a small fitness center. The hotel has 13 floors and 2 elevators. Breakfast was very good but the scrambled eggs for some unknown reason are served cold.

I had booked Hotel Rendezvous but for some administrative reason they were not able to operate and instead put me up in this hotel, which was about 200 metres from the original one. Was not disappointed at all. The room was very spacious, in fact it was a suite with separate living area. The staff at the reception was very helpful. Breakfast was also fine but no eggs to order. Located in the Palermo Hollywood area, the neighbourhood was full of pubs and cafes within 209 metres. However if you are in Buneos Aires for the first time and want to visit all the major attractions first, it is better to stay in Recoleta right in the middle of all the attractions as Palermo is quite far from the city center. I had already completed my first few leg in Buneos Aires and had 2 days left before my trip ended, so booked in Palermo as I wanted to experience a different neighbourhood and Palermo is worth a stay for its vibrancy.

I booked a private room here through booking.com for $36 a night. The rooms were on the main floor and in the back, they had private bathrooms which were nice. They were a bit rustic but the bed was comfy and given the price and location it was tough to beat. The staff is friendly and kind a helpful. I tried to call a cab to the airport when i left and the person working the front desk insisted i use uber, but i had an issue with uber canceling my ride unless i paid cash in Argentina so i ended up flagging a cab outside after 4 ubers canceled on me. The only downside of this place is it has a huge front door that closes pretty loudly and you can hear it everywhere in the hostel, so at 2-4am as people are trickling back home, the door keeps slamming shut. The rooms had air conditioning and the hostel offered money exchange at a decent exchange rate. The breakfast was basically toast and coffee/tea or juice if you juice the oranges yourself. I would have given them 4.5 stars if i could. It was probably 6-7 blocks to Plaza Serrano - the place to go out in this area.

We stayed one night in room 506 and really enjoyed it. Being 1/2 block from Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Peron is buried (major tourist attraction) we found the convenience to be a high point. Also, there are malls and shops nearby within easy walking distance. Our room had a microwave, fridge, TV, desk and chair, 2 big comfortable sitting chairs (the best I have seen in years), small table, multi-drawer chest, 2 night tables, and 2 bed lamps. The lamps need to be less bright at night, There are hardwood floors, a big closet, safe, a large walk-in shower, marble bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, 1 USB plug for charging with other local plugs close to the bed. Breakfast was excellent and varied. You cannot go wrong staying here!

I spent 11 nights in this hotel, the first 3 nights were Great. I traveled out of the city for 4 days, on my return I had another room and I experienced "water damage" from the toillet. They did try to fix it, unsuccessfully. I understood it was not their fault, but I felt they should move me to another room after 2 days the issue continued. I had to ask for a transferred and on my last night they did. I had been for years to Argentina and the customer service there is not too "good" in general. Never offer you an "option", you have to ASK. I do appreciate I asked for "compensation" and they allowed me to leave the room early evening on my last day without charge, so I thank them for this!! Regardless, I have to say the hotel is quite, clean, secured, nice roof, gym, comfortable bed, very nice size room, close metro station, access to public transportation, it's a new building, complete kitchen!! I recommend this hotel. I wish No incident to anyone!!

My wife and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough if you are looking for a special hotel experience in a fabulous city. After a long haul overnight flight it was lovely to receive such a warm and personal welcome. Originally constructed as a private residence it has been tastefully converted into an exclusive boutique hotel. The suite was just as shown on the hotel's website with loads of space and a very well equipped jacuzzi bath/shower room. We loved the roof terrace which was the ideal place to unwind after a day exploring the city. We were served complimentary snacks and drinks on terrace whilst chatting to fellow guests. The ground floor bar and separate restaurant have plenty of character. What really makes this hotel standout are the staff. Without exception we found them to be professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They take great pride in somehow knowing who you are without you having to introduce yourself. We found the surrounding area safe and interesting to explore. There are numerous bars, restaurants, shops and history in the world renowned Recoleta district.

Many trips to Baires but first time at this hotel and it was a revelation. The rooms are large and well equipped with kitchens and large bathrooms. There is a full restaurant on site and a delightful pool for refreshing but the best feature is the outstanding staff. From checking with Raoul, to night men Marcos and Daniel to Gonzalo and all the personnel under managerJuliettas supervision they are pleasant, professional and top quality. Angelica took care of my housekeeping with thoughtfulness and thorough performance and ALVARO was forever working to keep the public areas in top shape. The restaurant is under the able management of Hector who guides his staff of Eliana, Victoria, Juliette and Oscar to fine perfection with great food and drink while the pool has Annabelle as full time life guard and its perfect for all ages. You can’t beat the talent, location and value.

This review is for the suites which is an adjacent building to the hotel. The location is excellent, couldn't be better for sightseeing and safety. Reception is good, efficient and welcoming. Breakfast has a good choice but for travellers like me who stayed for a few days it would have been nice if some of the items changed more frequently as it can get a bot boring otherwise. The suite entrance is in need of renovation. The walls need painting and there are details in the suites which are also in need of attention. For example there was not even a shell to place the bare essential needs and it could have done with an extra hook for towels. The fridge also was a little noisy. All in all very good otherwise.

Overall, it's a very good hotel, situated in the Northwestern part of the city of Buenos Aires, a bit distant from the main points of interest in Buenos Aires, but perfect for me visiting my relatives living in the neighborhood of Núñez. The main sights in this parts of the city are the Río de la Plata promenade and the stadium of the soccer club with the same name. The central parts of the city are easily reachable by underground (Congreso de Tucumán station is just a block away). The hotel is situated in an upper middle-class neighborhood which feels very safe, even by European standards. It's a leafy part of the city with many beautiful houses, and the local Chinatown is just around the corner. The hotel is situated relatively near to the Aeroparque airport. If arriving at the Ezeiza airport, it may not be suitable for you, since it's quite a bit away from it. The hotel room is spacious, and it feels more like a suite than your average hotel room. There's a spa in the hotel but I didn't have time to try it out. Maybe the next time. Overall, an excellent hotel in a quiet neighborhood. And, for the price, it's a steal. I'll be going back, that's for sure.

We selected CasaSur based on decent reviews and walkability to places to eat, drink, and sites. Doorman service is offered often but not always. Lobby is nicely air-conditioned. Front desk staff are knowledgable, caring, and responsive. Rooms are ready usually after noon. I stayed here for 3 nights. My room for the first two nights was an executive king #801 with a separate living area, HDTV, and 2 AC units. Bathroom is very large and comfortable. No tub only a walk-in shower. Plenty of storage and closet space. All the other usual in room provisions for a 4-star hotel. Nespresso coffee maker, wine chiller, and a small refrigerator. Sad that they charge $2 U.S. for each coffee capsule. At this level of hotel those should be free. Issues are that some of the furnishings and interior surfaces are in dire need of patching, mending, or resurfacing. You can see this once you are there but not in normal photos of the rooms. The most unfortunate experience here was the bad taste of the coffee during the included daily breakfast. The three of us agreed it tasted like soap and did not drink it. On my second day, I asked the server about the coffee from the first day. She got me a coffee from the espresso machine by the breakfast bar instead of from the kitchen in the back of the breakfast room. It was better but the quality was not like it should be at this price-level of a hotel. In fact, the breakfast is best omitted here. I suggest management allow a credit in lieu of breakfast.

A good value stay in a hotel with character. The hotel is hidden away in a narrow street that is very convenient for BA attractions. A couple of nice local bars & restaurants (Prosuicco Italian was nice). Although the road is busy the rooms are all well away from the front & I liked the gated security of the hotel All the rooms are ground floor with an outdoor covered terrace with nice chairs & bookcases with a variety of old books & magazines. Maybe watch out for midges here but very relaxing o sit out after pounding around BA for the day. The rooms are all very spacious & my room had a very large bathroom (working out the shower taps took some time!). Bed was comfortable & wifi excellent. Quiet & efficient aircon & fan Very friendly welcome & Ezekiel took time to answer questions we had. Very helpful printing off etickets & offering to get taxis & this tipped my rating to 5* making up for the breakfast which was adequate though perhaps a limited choice (it's a small hotel) if staying more than a couple of days. I think you could ask for cooked eggs but the breakfast staff are a little reticent in coming forward I would definitely recommend

It is located right in the heart of a sub-area within Palermo called Las Cañitas which is full of cool restaurants and bars. The hotel has a very homey vibe. On the ground floor there is a cozy living room and a beautiful garden. The rooms are very simple but they have everything you might need. On the first floor, there is a terraced garden with a jacuzzi for which you can regulate the temperature where I have seen hummingbirds visit. The breakfast is great and consists in various types of local pastries, fruit, bread, cold meats, cheese and great coffee. I really enjoyed saying at 248 Finisterra particularly the jacuzzi in the terrace as well as being able to reach so many restaurants and breweries without needing to walk much.

I write this two and a half months after the experience, so my memories are not as vivid as they might have been. Since this was not a sightseeing or pleasure trip, I decided to spend a little more to make sure I would be comfortable in the hotel, where I expected to spend the bulk of my time. The location turned out to be as convenient as advertised, very near to Congreso Square. It is a lively part of Buenos Aires, slightly rundown perhaps, but most of the city is in that condition these days. You must bear in mind that Argentina is going through one of the worst crises in its contemporary history. Check-in was uneventful, although I wished for a little more courtesy from the staff. When I got to my room I had the first disappointment: the room was as spacious as the official pictures suggested, but there was a pungent smell, the walls were peeling off in places, the carpet was aged and discoloured and the bathroom appliances were an unpromising shade of creamy yellow. It seemed hard to believe that a room like that would pass an official inspection. I could not see myself spending four days in such a grim spot, especially if this hotel had been my upmarket option. The staff took my complaint in their stride. They offered a new room and they offered to throw in free breakfast for the length of my stay. The new room was higher up, with a better view and in a much better condition. Breakfast was the next disappointment. It was basic in the extreme, and the young woman in charge on Sunday was not aware of any gluten-free option. I had a coffee and some boiled fruit. Only from Monday onwards, with a more experienced woman in command, did the GF goodies materialise. It seems that they had been there all along. I enjoyed my last three breakfasts and I appreciated the breakfast boss's good manners - she was the only one in the hotel who had time to say good morning and who seemed to enjoy her work. All in all, I got used to Uno Suites. I came to accept the staff's grumpiness as part of the overall despair Argentinians are going through (although, it must be said, a day in neighbouring La Plata revealed that there are kindly, courteous Argentinians outside the capital). I got frustrated at the unstable WiFi, but there was a good view from my window to distract me when the connection went down. I enjoyed having space to pace in the room, and I had plenty of occasion to be grateful for the handiness of the location. Would I go back there? It wouldn't be my first choice, but I would not rule it out. To be based half way along Rivadavia, a few steps from Congreso, walking distance from Café Tortoni, is not to be sniffed at. And thanks, breakfast lady!

Despite some misgivings, this hotel’s positives outweigh its two negatives, one of which I consider to be rather serious. The bad bits dropped my rating from 5 stars to 4, but frankly, this is one of the better Ibis-line hotels I’ve stayed in; and I’ve stayed at Ibises over hundred times. In several ways, this hotel equals or surpasses most of them. I’ll start with this hotel’s many virtues, mention a few neutral aspects, and end with its two vices. The last one is by far the most serious one. There’s also something odd about the ratings, which I’ll cover at the very end. POSITIVES: Location: For a budget hotel in B.A., hard to beat! It’s at the SW corner of Av. Corrientes and Florida, within half a mile of Teatro Colon, the Plaza de Mayo, and Plaza San Martin. Corrientes is a major BA thoroughfare, though not one of BA’s grand boulevards. Florida is a pedestrian shopping street from Corrientes to Plaza San Martin, lined with shops on either side. During the day, additional vendors line the street itself, selling everything from original paintings to Argentine leather wallets. Day and night, you’ll also hear street musicians ranging from classical violin to Argentine guitar to pop, all “playing for change.” After dark, I found al fresco tango shows, street musicians, and even a burlesque comedy team (earthy humour, NOT striptease, sorry lads). Galleria Pacifico. retailing at its most refined, is on Florida, a short stroll from the hotel. In addition to the eateries at Pacifico, there are excellent restaurants close at hand: I returned several times to both Classic BA and the La Posada de 1820. The notorious ABC German restaurant (alleged hangout of Mengele and Eichmann) is also just off Florida. The other HUGE benefit to the Ibis Styles location is the Florida Subte station, a few meters from the hotel door, on Corrientes just east of Florida. Hence you have easy subway access to Recoleta, Palermo, San Telma, you name it. Hotel Staff: Excellent. Friendly and helpful. Whether it was day or night, at least one staff member spoke fluent English. Housekeeping did a good job. I had no issues with AC, plumbing, TV out of whack, etc, which is the mark of a good engineering and maintenance staff. Safety and Security: Some side-streets of this neighborhood might be dodgy late at night, but I had no qualms on either Corrientes or Florida. Hotel security is tight. You enter on the ground floor; a doorman is on guard 24/7 to let you in and out. From street level, take the elevator one stop up to the lobby floor. Once you’ve checked in, your room-card activates your room’s floor—and only that floor—in the elevators. The street level and lobby are the only two floors that don’t require a card scan. Bedroom: Small, but bright and cheerful. Plenty of open-rack storage. Its large double bed was luxuriously comfortable. A large flatscreen TV is opposite the bed. The powerful AC system has a remote control. Great r

I found soho point by reading some reviews on the internet and decided based on the other photos and recommendations to get in contact, my Spanish is a bit weak so I was happy to have someone to comunícate with in English. The person I was in touch with happened to be the owner, a gentleman called Mariano who I found to be very polite and accommodating, so I decided to book with solo point. Live, Travel Your Own Way... is Soho Point’s emphasis, and I can 100% state that Mariano and the team he works with follow this through to the letter. Everyone I encountered, receptionists, cleaners, shift mangers are polite and accommodating, the rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable, the advise (where to go to eat, visit, have a beer) was great. After a long flight from India to Argentina, and arriving at Buenos Aires late in the night, I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome than the one by Elena of Petit El Vitraux. She had proactively started communicating with me weeks before my scheduled trip, passing on every small bit of information that may be required for my trip. Tired after a long journey, her infectious energy rubbed off on me and we stayed up late in the night chatting after I checked in. Didn’t seem that we had just met then, Elena made me feel comfortable from the start. Her home and the rooms have a warm feel and are well furnished. The dinning room and open patio was a place to make new friends with the other guests over good breakfast and lovely coffee. To the extent that instead of rushing out early in the morning to tick off the sightseeing checklist, we sat around and spend time catching up with each other. Bathroom/toilet was not attached to the room but common to all, however was extremely clean and hygienic and there was never a rush for the same. The location was also very convenient. Elena walked with me to the ATMs and bus stop to show me around and was always ready to discuss and suggest the best things I could do in Buenos Aires based on my preferences. If I go back to Buenos Aires, Petit El Vitraux is where I d definitely stay again

This hotel was part of a package that we booked for a post-cruise trip to Iguazu Falls. After getting picked up at the port our driver stopped here and we left the majority of our luggage to be stored during the two nights we were to be in Iguazu. It only took a couple of minutes to check in our luggage and be on our way. After our two nights in Iguazu, we returned to the hotel. Retrieving our luggage also went smoothly. Our room was on the 7th floor and although the view was less than appealing, the room was perfect for a one-night stay. I appreciated the fact that although we were in Argentina, there was one "American" outlet where we could recharge our phones without using an adapater. We were very tired from our travels so dinner was at a pizza place (Ditali) just a half block from the hotel. Our pizza was good and reasonably priced and at 4:30 in the afternoon we were about the only people in the restaurant. (We had not eaten since breakfast in Iguazu.) Our early morning pick up for our flight was at 6 am which meant we were not able to partake of the included breakfast (start time was 7 am) but there is 24-hour complimentary coffee in the lobby. It would have been nice to have some sort of grab-n-go breakfast option but it was not expected.
