However, this in Rotterdam is especially, not only by the location in the pedestrian zone but also by the proximity to the market hall, which is a must in this great city. We like the roof-top bar, which has not only a great view of the city especially at night, but also a great selection of gin from all over the world. (to be found in Motel One's) The rooms are usually relatively small, but very smartly built with the equipment.

|2.76km from city centerI stayed in this hotel a few weeks for a conference a few weeks ago. I had no problem with the room. I stayed in a double room which was very comfortable to sleep in. The shower was also excellent. So far so good. I only had breakfast at the hotel which was fine. It had a nice selection of local produce between hot foods, cold meats, cheeses and pastries. The customer service was fine and I had no problems though other colleagues had problems. I don't understand how there are so few staff for breakfast but there is a lot of staff for evening service. Just an observation. The main problem I had with this hotel is that it is in the middle of nowhere. Apart from the zoo, there is nothing around apart from an industrial area across the road. I went for a walk and it is 20-25 minutes walk to the nearest restaurant. Seriously! My advise is unless you are willing to spend the whole day in the nearby zoo or have a conference there stay somewhere else!

|2.45km from city centerLocation is good if you look for a stay near the Erasmus medical center. Staff is nice and helpful. Lift is a little we had to turn up in connection with the child car. I found hygiene a little less and the shower wasn't really nice. The room was very cold when we entered it but the heating was so warm. Our 7-week baby was slept nicely.

|0.97km from city centerThe hotel seems like an annex to Hotel Emma in Rotterdam (2 min walking from Umplugged). Room is super cute decorated and clean, and the mattress is amazingly comfortable. Location is also really convenient, close to metro station and 10 min walk from Rotterdam Central Station. There is also a street close by with bars and nice brunch places. We book the hotel with my boyfriend for only one night after a concert in the Rotterdam Ahoy, but it was actually a really good place to stay longer! :)

|0.72km from city centerMy husband and I recently took a bicycle trip to Holland and spent one night at the Marriott in Rotterdam. We only wish that every hotel on our trip was as good as this. The Front Desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- they had a special place to lock-up our bikes, helped us do that, spent time with us reviewing a map of the city to decide what to do and where to go, and emailed us additional information. The hotel is in a great central location, across from train station and in walking distance to a lot of sites. The rooms are good-sized, totally modern (great bathrooms!), very quiet, cool (it was warm and we needed air conditioning) and internet worked perfectly. Breakfast is served in a nice room with a great view of the station/city; friendly staff, hot items are cooked to order and the buffet is full of any item you might want. We're just sorry to we only stayed one night.

|0.83km from city centerThe location is very good. Just in the city center of Rotterdam. The train station is down for 20 minutes with luggage. It is also very lively. It is both shops and restaurants. The KFC McDonald's Burger King Chinese Restaurant next to the hotel... everything! It is very convenient to walk to markthal and cube house within 10 minutes. Disadvantages: The room is small. The suitcase can only be opened one. There is almost no walking space. The luggage, hair dryer, etc. must be charged separately (I didn’t spend that Money). The check-in time is also very dead and has not been discussed.

The rooms facing the canal have a nice view but it's a shame the windows are small. There is a good car park next door to the hotel but hotel guests get no discount for parking there (24 Euros per night). Rooms are on the small side but fine for a couple of nights. They include a safe, which is nice to have. The hotel is not cheap, though. Around 200 Euros per night (without breakfast or parking) for a basic hotel chain like Ibis is quite steep. For that money, the hotel should at least make sure the curtains are not full of holes! They don't seem to have family rooms either, so families have to pay for two rooms per night.

|1.05km from city centerThe hotel is well located in the center of Rotterdam, the room is clean and the price is not excessive. There is no air conditioning, but there is a large, quiet ceiling fan. For breakfast, you have to go to a restaurant which is located three minutes walk from the hotel where you receive a hearty and varied breakfast, but always the same every day. Having stayed five days, I received five tickets for breakfast. However, I learned on the penultimate day that the restaurant only opens at 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays, instead of 7:30 a.m. on other days. As this did not suit me at all because I had to take a train at 9:15 a.m., I requested a refund for this last ticket, which was categorically refused. I don't understand at all this non-commercial and rigid attitude for a customer who stayed five days, especially since the host could resell this unused ticket to a next customer.

It's located near the city center and the metro station and you can practically have everything you need (supermarkets, shops, food) within a few minutes on foot. All the stuff is really kind and helpful for anything it may occur during your stay in the hotel. Breakfast has not a big variety of drinks and food but it's still really good. My only complaint about this hotel is that there is no fridge in the room, which you really going to need if you are staying for more than 5 days. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay in days inn and I would definitely visit this hotel again.

The first room didn’t have WiFi, so they sent me to another room ( they didn’t help move my luggage and I spent 25 traipsing around trying to find my rooms) - having moved room - still no WiFi and the key didn’t work. This hotel looks like a fun place to stay - but it is awful. I’ve been here an hour - apparently someone will be down to help. Can’t unpack as I expect that I’ll be moved again (and won’t get help). Have just been called and they wanted me to go to another part of the ship….where there is WiFi…I guess we’re giving up on being allowed to work in my room.

|4.62km from city centerThe hotel is set in lovely grounds with trees and a long stream at the back. The picture shows the geese outside my room. This means though that leaving the window open at night to try to get cool air (air conditioning did work) is inadvisable as mosquitoes make their way in. The bathroom is good to look at although the basin is impractical. There were lots of television channels and a good and easy to use control. Lighting is abysmal though. The bathroom light worked and there was a light at the bedroom door. There were reading lights above the bed, but the remainder of the room is in Stygian gloom. When I arrived, I got the least friendly checkin person since I was in Moscow 16 years ago. That said, all other people at the hotel were nice.

We didn’t use the tram while here but the trams ran past the hotel. 2 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk. Rooms have a fridge. Safe. Plenty of towels. TV. Wifi is good throughout the hotel. Highly recommended.

Our room was a standard ”water view” double, and not that big but had all we needed in terms of furnishings and amenities. One tiny gripe of mine, the bathroom has a sliding frosted-glass door, which of course saves space, but doesn't fully close. Bed and bedding all very comfortable. Shower and Air-con easy to regulate. Plenty of lifts (elevators) at all times. Breakfast superb. All staff very friendly and efficient.

The address states the hotel is in Leuvehaven; however the hotel and entrance are really on Terwenaker 18 (the small peninsula just east of the main road (Schiedsedijk). You can definitely see the hotel on the peninsula as you’re driving north on the main road, but your GPS / offline Google Maps won’t take you there. Just a tip in case you’re driving to the hotel. Other than that, our room was spacious, comfortable, had its own sauna, and a great view of the river. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Cube Houses and central market area. Overall, we’d stay there again if in Rotterdam!

|1.45km from city centerWe booked 2 nights at this hotel coming from Germany. It had a super convenient location (only 2 tram stops from central station) upon checking in we paid €26 plus €20 key deposit to park the car for 2 days, the car park was about a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms: The room was large and clean, missing cups for the coffee machine and also didn’t have a safe as advertised so I had to carry the valuables around all weekend, also you were not able to lock the hotel door from the inside. The bathroom was large and modern and had an extractor fan that didn’t work. The cleanliness was top marks from me. Noise: I appreciate it was the weekend so some noise is inevitable, but the noise went on until 3am because every time someone entered the building none of the doors had a quiet close on them, they just slammed shut. We were situated on the ground floor and you could clearly hear the people above moving around and using the toilet (possibly due to the fact that all bedroom floors are Lino and not carpeted. Breakfast: I only have positive things to say in regard to the breakfast as there was a good variety of fresh foods for everyone. Checking out: Upon checkout we got the car and drove back to load the bags. When giving the car park key they said we hadn’t paid any deposit (see above) and asked if we had a white slip! We didn’t as nobody gave us one (Make sure you get a white slip) so we had to stand and keep our strength to get the deposit back. Overall: Not my style of hotel, the online pictures show it in a much better light. Super convenient location. Better hotels near the harbour for the same price. I wouldn’t return but I will say it was an experience.
