Just an average hotel. It's clean, but tired. Beds are fine, bathrooms are fine, and pool is fine. You'll sleep fine here, but I probably wouldn't return to it and would rather try a Holiday Inn Express or Best Western instead. Pool - It looked ok, but pretty cold (checked in Feb). The hot tub is more of a warm tub. If I had small kids, I bet they'd take a quick dip in the 77-78 degree larger pool and then hang out in the hot tub. Breakfast - Seems like the standard fare of eggs from a mix, muffins, bagels, and the oh so favorite of absolutely no one, red delicious apples. Why are those at every single hotel free breakfast. Would have loved to have seen something special or different at this hotel. We ended up going out to somewhere else for breakfast. Rooms - Clean, but kind of out dated. Bathroom had a bit of mold in the calking, but overall it was fine. Internet - I'm typing this review on the provided free internet. I'm getting 3Mbit down and 4Mbit up so not exactly the fastest, but it will let you type up TripAdvisor reviews. Google Maps struggles to draw directions and FaceTime doesn't work that well. Might be a variety of reasons so your milage may vary. Parking - By far my biggest complaint. There is tons of parking everywhere. I don't know how anyone would get here unless they had a car. They charge $5 per night to park at the hotel. There is no value add here except what feels like a money grab. I suppose you could park at a nearby business park, but parking at the hotel is probably your best bet. Why not just wrap the charge into the room rate? They don't provide any sort of added security and there's no shortage of spots available.

Breakfast is a simple bread, sausage, egg and coffee, you can make your own muffins, similar to the motel. However, the point is that you can cook for yourself and have everything you need. It is also owned by Intercontinental. Good service

Suitable for self-driving tour, kitchen, you can eat yourself. Breakfast is average, but bread, sausage, eggs, yogurt, coffee, etc. are all available. Hotel service is very good, I have a kettle at the front desk. There are gas stations and fast food restaurants nearby, and some distance, there are supermarkets, bookstores and so on.

Just beside La Jolla Beach, the sea view room, the balcony can see the sunset over the sea, the environment has nothing to say. Just outside the Ctrip price, there are 32 knife taxes per day and 40 knife parking fees. 1500 per night, small expensive, the only drawback

I feel bad because I wanted to compliment 3 staff members, but it's a week later and I've forgotten their names. We arrived very early - well before check in time, yet they found a room that was ready and quickly checked us in. I haven't been to the area in 25 years so 2 front desk members were more than happy to give us suggestions on how to get into town, restaurants in the area, sites to see, etc. Our room was fairly modern and clean. When we checked out we asked if we could leave our bags because we wanted to go to town for a few hours. Again they were more than happy to do this for us. Very accommodating staff members!!! The fly in the ointment is that the hotel is being remodeled, so there are some unpleasant smells like paint in the common areas. Also, as a result of some of the work being done, there is a sewer smell in the rooms. We kept our window open, which helped, but it can be really annoying for some who are sensitive to this kind of thing. If not for that, I'd give the place 5 stars.

My wife and I came here again for an overnight getaway from the kids and had a wonderful time! When we checked in our room wasn't ready (in their defense we checked in at 9:30am as we were playing golf that morning). Shortly after noon I got a text letting me know that our room was ready so after our round of golf I got our keys from the front desk and checked into our room in the Green building which has a nice view of the golf course. The room was clean, cool and quiet. Being on the top floor the room has vaulted ceilings which is really nice. Outside of the room, the grounds are spectacular and very well taken care of. You feel a sense of relief and calm walking through the property as they have fountains scattered throughout. After our round of golf my wife accidentally dropped her wallet/clutch somewhere on the walkway. We filled out a form at the front desk and about an hour later got a call that someone from housekeeping found it and turned it in!!! What a relief! Everything was in the wallet, it is so good to know that there are still honest people in the world, thank you to whoever found it!!! Also, a special shout out to Ampy at the front desk who always greats you with a world class smile and a positive attitude to match. She is an absolute gem of a person. We are already looking at dates for our next visit to the Rancho Bernardo Inn.

Enjoyed a nice couple of days stay. The complex is a little older but very clean and cozy. We had a 2 bedroom & 2 bath suite with a kitchenette. I definitely recommend a 2 bedroom if traveling with kids. The kitchen is small but it made it easy to fix a quick snack or reheat leftover. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was tasty, sitting area wasn’t too small & there was extra sitting area outside. Property had tennis court, basketball & pingpong. I will definitely stay here again should the need arise.

This was my first stay at a Springfield Suite. I picked this property because of the location. The front desk staff are extremely gracious as is the the housekeeping staff. The room layout is compartmentalized and functional. Bed was very comfortable, ac is quiet, hot water comes on fast, room is very clean, nice selection of cable stations plus you can watch Netflix, Amazon, and other selections. Property offers a free breakfast which includes scrambled eggs, sausage patty, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, English muffins, juice and coffee. Large eating area. There is a Chiles Restaurant, Jack in the Box and Shell Station next to property and several other restaurants within a 1 minute walk. I had meetings in San Diego and Palm Desert, so the location of this property saved me about 30 minutes on the way to Palm Desert and it was a nice drive (except for gas prices).
