I stayed 3 nights on business at this hotel as it was recommended by the firm I was visiting. Before writing this, I have done a bit of googling as I simply booked the recommendation and did NOT do any research beforehand. My bad. Firstly, this whole concept is aimed at "millennials" and I am not one! I was in town for work. I won't be going back or choosing Moxy anytime soon BUT it would be unfair to say that it was terrible. It is the first time that any hotel brand has made me feel out of place. For what it's worth here of some of the things I found: * the check-in was efficient albeit in the bar, * the lift was decorated with #Insta graffiti, which at 07.15 on a Tuesday was a bit incongruous with the 4 business travellers in it, * there wasn't enough seating for breakfast, people we perched eating on their laps, * the orange juice machine was the worst I have ever encountered, * the bathroom lights were automatic (no switches) and very bright, at 02.15, * I was OK with no phones and clocks in the rooms (I have never used them) BUT there wasn't a bin, so I couldn't dispose of any rubbish, * the temperature control didn't work and, * the "do not disturb" sign was obnoxious. * The food offering was poor (maybe fine for one night) but fortunately it was near the station and there were other options. The staff were great and there was under bed LED lighting that was pretty cool. So depending on what you are doing, how cool you are, how much time you expect to spend at the hotel and what your general satisfaction is with standard hotel offerings - this might be perfect for you.

Good location, next door is the train station, there are also bus stops, easy to travel. There are no restaurants nearby and the hotel has a paid breakfast. The room is equipped with an electric kettle, a hair dryer, etc., which is generally quite good. I will continue to book this home next year.

Top newly designed hotel. Modern and attractive ! The processes are not yet fully recorded. The service forces are very struggling to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests. Because of Corona many forms and feel thick signatures. Breakfast is still very formal setting with order form and discs sauce and cheese etc. Rooms very compact with limited deposit options. Showers without ground floor flooding is not possible !

The distance from the station is short, but the entrance is on the other side of the station. The room had a good view and there was a bathtub. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory in both quality and quantity. There was also a direct bus from the station to Frankfurt International Airport, which was convenient.

We were exhibiting right next door at the Darmstadtium - Science and Congress Center. It is so convenient to have the hotel just across the street. It is a quick walking distance to restaurants, shops and supermarkets in marketplatz and Luisenplatz. The hotel is nice, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. 3 things to improve: 1. There is no coffee maker / hot kettle in the room. That was greatly missed 2. The pillows are not the best, too big and not very comfortable 3. The fitness center is only 3 machines, Stepper/slider, bike and treadmill. And the treadmill is only allowed to work after 9am.. that was so annoying, as you normally work out before you go to work/start your day and so you can't get to use the treadmill !! They really have to find a solution to that (maybe acoustic wall? Or move the gym downstairs??) And my suggestion to add a simple set of weights as well. Something to upgrade this fitness room a bit... Overall, we really like the hotel, staff was nice and location in excellent!

A great hotel. Even at reception you feel very well lifted. The lady at the reception makes a bomb job. Quick and competent, to do it warm and simply great. Just with dog you feel welcome immediately. The rooms are excellently cut. All works without any problems. The bed is very large and very comfortable. The huge TV cabin almost prepare home cinema atmosphere. To do this a very fast internet and a minibar that is included. Everything is super. Even when check out everything again exemplary. A coffee or similar goes home. Be it drink or take it with. Hotells at top level. Here I'd like to come back.

At 100 hotel nights per year, a hotel must be highlighted especially so I take the time to review. The Jungstil Hotel in Darmstadt has managed to do so. However, because it is the worst hotel I ever had in Germany. And that is with 4 stars. But only once in the row that I experienced this week there: Check-in: The reception is only occupied hours. Really now? At a 4 star house and a room price of €148.00 per night. But fortunately I travel at a time when the reception is occupied. Well, it should be at least 17.45 lt. hang at the entrance door. Unfortunately the door to the hotel does not open. Nobody there. But fortunately there is the check-in machines next to the door. This also finds my reservation. Good! Unfortunately, too early. Because despite confirmed reservation, I will only be asked for a credit card which the machine rejects in the next step. Do nothing: I have 3.5 minutes later I'm unravelable, since the machine rejects every card. Spoiler Alarm: as I know at checkout next morning, the credit card request should not have come at all when confirmed reservations. I find a sign on the hotel door that is pointed to a 24x7 accessibility call number, traveling at a time when the reception is not occupied. Now everything will be fine! I thought: shipping to a mobile box without an advertisement. However, leave a message in the hope, but still to come to my room. I could have saved myself. I'm still waiting for the call today. Fortunately, after some time, a already check-in hotel guest with key card comes. After him I'm sleeping into the hotel lobby. And see, there is a key card with my name on the tressen. So I have room 246. Ph, Check-in would have been done. Wi-Fi: Finally on the room, quickly select Wi-Fi to make the last WebEx session with a customer. But stop: I couldn't tell me how to get to the password protected hotel Wi-Fi. There was nobody at the reception. But you're professional: Username and password are certainly some combination of my name and the room number. There is a lot missing. After some time I find a book with the information about the hotel. It also describes how to get into the Wi-Fi. It's just a pity I need to get down to the lobby to print a ticket on a printer available there. So drag, down, print again and then finally log in to the Wi-Fi. Room status: At first sight everything is okay. After at least this. But when I make my bed, and put the cleanly stoned heads on the headpart side, I will quickly get to know what to do that tower. He should cover the quite broken headpart. See photo. Sit, six! Breakfast: The small hotel Buchlein had already been with Wi-Fi

First of all, I really admired a very beautiful zone for breakfast at this place (vast, clean and bright) and its contents. Secondly, on-site restaurant has definitely a good chef capable to cook so delicious meat - strongly recommended to try and taste - really tasty :). And finally - the hotel is quiet enough despite the fact the walls between rooms are so thin and not sound-protective at all - you hear everything your neighbour does :)... The internet functions well enough inside that. However, the very size of the room you are to be "put in" :), i.e. its square is astonishingly terrible - no more than 6 square meters :(( - you seem to live rather in some cell and even imprisoned than in any hotel's room :); it's so little for this really high price that if to compare with Munich and Berlin... phew... it should be definitely twice as big in its dimensions... Besides, there is NO good selection of TV channels in English (just BBC was),.., nothing at all in Spanish and just one in French :(... The very business model of this hotel is just based on the principle that those on business trips (particularly, to a relatively closely placed Merck) would stay here in any case - they simply and tremendously explore Merck's location - nothing else...

Stayed at the hotel 13-15 of September for a friends wedding. The hotel, the location is a hidden paradise. What a beautiful place! The area is fantastic! It is so peaceful and relaxing. And it is only 20 min drive from Frankfurt. This is going to be definitely the place to return for me and my husband. The hotel is clean and modern. All the stuff was very kind and helpful. Many special thanks to Ms. Cornelia at the reception desk who moved mountains to help us contacting the sound company that the hotel works with and being so effective and quick. The company which works with the hotel was just great - the cost of the equipment we had requested was affordable and great quality. Mr. Thomas from the company who delivered the equipment to us and set it up with us was also very helpful, kind and effective in setting everything just right. Mrs. Schmitt was also very helpful and kind taking care of all the details for the event. We were just blessed to meet such a kind, wonderful, helpful and warm stuff of the hotel. Also, Mr. Zouhaier who took care of us late night when we had a late dinner after our performance - he treated us in a very kind way and made us feel very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with the great variety at the buffet and cozy atmosphere. Especially liked the bread, cold cuts and scrambled eggs - all were delicious. Ordered espresso coffee and it was just great! Loved the natural juice next to it. Everything was just perfect throughout our stay. Every detail counts and much appreciated. This is gonna be one of our favorite destination to visit again when traveling to Germany.

Great central location although car parking has to be paid for which is standard for most hotels in the area, but the car park is adjcent to the hotel and is a couple of Euros per day cheaper for hotel residents. Nice clean comfy, bright airy room, good wi-fi. The hotel was very, very quiet with only a handful of guest in these Covid times. Felt very safe, excellent Covid safety precautions in place, hand lotions available, rooms are only entered by staff every three days, ozone room cleaners (we saw them, they do exist!), good distancing throughout hotel and dining room. Breakfast was pre-ordered, can be eaten in room if preferred, and was excellent. Really friendly helpful staff - this is a great place to say and we will return.
