|0.99km from city centerRoom may have been small for price we paid, but this was on my bucket list. We only had one beach day. Weather was overcast. But despite that, it was fabulous. Rooms were modern and spotless. Service was impeccable. I can’t say anything bad. Location was great. Concierge was was fabulous, especially Lorenzo. All his recommendations were great. One thing he highly recommended was to go to the Carrera Marble Quarry . It was amazing!!! This is a place that is perfect for young kids to elderly. Everything was in walking distance and the house car was always made available. I have been to Villa D’Este, Splendido in Portofino, Le Siereneuse in Positino. This was my favorite. So much to do even on an overcast day. Great shopping in town. Drugstore down the street as well as a great hair salon and great gelato 5 minutes. Thank you for a great trip. It was our furst time out of US since covid!!!

|1.24km from city centere found Negresco to be quite a charming place so why just 2 stars. ITs all about expectations vs spend. The hotel fees were very high (similar to the 4 seasons hotel) and so we were expecting 4 seasons service and accommodations. Our hosts were nice but my first surprise was that when i came in they told me i must find street parking because they ran out of parking spots. This is something that can be expected from a 2 star hotel but when spending this much- as a welcome is completely unacceptable. Also they never asked me if I wanted to reserve a spot when I made the hotel reservation. I was in constant contact with the hotel about reservations etc and never once did they mention the parking to me. Even motels offer parking Also I got yelled at by the staff in front of other guests that evening because we left our room service outside of my room. Typically room service is left outside the door in a hotel so I wasn’t sure what I did wrong. not only were we embarrassed, we were shocked. Another issue i had was no internet access. It was worse then my flight internet. When I complained i was told in a very cold manner. Its not us- must be to much use.. This to me is again unacceptable. It is not my problem that you have not set up your internet properly. There was no attempt to rectify the problem at all. The location of the property was also very noisy as you can hear a lot of cars etc outside at night. The rooms itself were old and outdated and the AC hard to use.

|0.33km from city centerWhen I checked in at night, the lights outside the hotel were turned on, the environment was very atmospheric, and there was a very comfortable feeling under the soft lighting.
The service was very good and even helped me upgrade to a suite.
The hardware is a bit eclipsed. The water in the bath is sometimes hot and cold, so keep washing and adjusting.
A closer look at the room is a bit old, but still acceptable

|0.51km from city centerFor context, I am a veteran traveler to Italy for more than 35 years having traveled for both work and pleasure. Presently I am a part-time tour operator organizing tours to Italy and have traveled as a guest with the Italian Government Tourist Agency/ENIT. In Italy I have stayed in luxury hotels and in simple agriturismos and have never experienced an absence of customer service on this level. Here's what happened. During our two-night stay which started out pleasantly at this somewhat 'tired' hotel, on the first night my adult son reserved a used beach cruiser bike the hotel offers guests. The bike was unfortunately stolen. (He locked it in a proper bike rack) When we reported the theft to the hotel owner, we were treated with a lack of respect or empathy as hotel guests but rather as criminals and not a victim of crime. We promptly contacted the US Consulate who encouraged us to ask the hotel to file a report with the local police. We asked for the owner’s assistance and he said ‘no’. And, before offering to help with any additional inquiry he promptly demanded payment for the bike. I asked to see documentation on the date the bike was purchased and the original price. He said he did not have it but would provide it by the end of the day. We asked about the hotel insurance policy which he claimed did not cover the bike. He did say the bike was used and thought he paid $280 about 18 months prior…(Note: we noticed the loaner bikes were left outdoors, not in an indoor storage facility.) Following the advice from the US Consulate we went on our own to the local police station and filed a statement. (This was a two hour ordeal which cut into our two day stay...) They suggested we provide the report to the hotel owner which upon showing it to him he reluctantly accepted. At the end of the day, the owner said the paperwork he requested from the bike shop had still not arrived. At this point he became very belligerent and berated us for not agreeing on a payment even though we offered to pay 1/3 which we thought reasonable for a used bike without seeing the date and price he paid for it. We had an early morning train the next day and requested to check out that evening and he would not let us without restitution on the bike. (Note: again the paperwork he said he’d have was never provided and apparently he did not feel the 1/3 for the bike was sufficient.) Following his hostile verbal demeanor, we called the police to ask them to help arrange for a checkout. An hour later the police said everything was taken care of. At the checkout that night (with a hotel employee, not the owner) we paid our bill and noticed a “service charge” of $140. We were told this was for the bike payment. This was half of the original “alleged” price as we never saw a receipt. We paid this amount to get the unpleasant experience behind us. Would highly advise against staying at this tired facility despite its close location to the beach.

|1.05km from city centerWe arrived at the Kyrton Hotel for a week with a coach tour Misteral holidays.. our room was lovely very comfortable bed, spotless clean, with a large bathroom walk in shower bidet with nice fluffy towels they were changed daily, we had a nice balcony with table and chairs. The garden was lovely surrounded by trees , so nice to sit and chill out reading a book. As we were on a coach tour we did feel we were given different food from the rest of the guests, who to be fair probably paid a lot more than we did. One fault at breakfast was the very hard bread which became quite a joke. But plenty if cereal and cold meat. The girls who worked in the restaurant were lovely. They tried their best to please us all. Both me and many of the other's on our trip loved the hotel and would gladly come again. Also to be welcomed by the adorable Mimi and Lucky was a bonus sweetest little dogs ever.

|0.95km from city centermaking a hotel beautiful is a rather easy goal, creating a welcoming and familiar atmosphere is quite another. Daiana, the hotel manager, manages to immediately make you feel like a special customer.. the staff, Francesca and Giulia for example, take care of you as if they've known each other for a long time. highly recommended.

Forte Dei Marmi
|1.95km from city centerI’ve booked 2 rooms for my wife and our two kids… Staff tries their best to support customers with the available possibilities. Rooms are renovated at some point but doesn’t make it up to a 4 star standard. I’ve been at many places in Italy, Europe and world wide. But this hotel doesn’t deserve to have 4 stars. Best off you’re with 2 stars here, and let them work towards a 3rd. Poorly equipped rooms with minimalistic basics are a disgrace. Rooms are partly clean, with remaining sand/dirt and probably other previous room guests belongings. Air conditioning doesn’t work, remember to keep all doors / windows closed, then it will run and makes strange noises to get you off bed, but won’t cool you off. Minibar fridge is filled, but won’t cool the containing drinks and just makes noise. Rooms are without glasses for your drinks. No complimentary bottled water is provided by the hotel. Pool urgently requires cleaning to remove the stains along the water level area and the water itself. There’s no towel service at the pool. Shower at the pool didn’t work either (no water). If you drive any SUV or station wagon, you won’t be able to park inside their parking, which is available for additional € 30.-/day. Maybe you’re lucky and get a spot in front of the hotel (+€15,-/day). If not, find a spot along the street side. Bikes are available for rental +€14.- / persons & day. Good thing is, hotel is in walking distance to the beach. And for the final, the breakfast; A wide variety of breads, Cereals, fruits and more. But not at 4-Star level quality. Enjoy your stay….
