Special rooms for the handicapped were given to experience the life of the elderly in advance. The hotel is estimated to be quite hot. It was after 5 o'clock, the parking lot was full, and the parking lot was not too small. It should be possible to park 30 or 40 cars. The front desk gave the addresses of two other public parking lots. When I was going to move the car, I ran into a staff member and asked to park the car in a wide aisle, so that it does not prevent other cars from passing through.

This hotel has lived before and was booked by a friend. So this time I still chose this one. I booked two rooms in Ctrip many days in advance, and the money was paid. It means that I will live here, but the room arranged by the hotel is not in one level, and there is a room half inclined. On the roof, the people who live in this room are afraid of hitting the roof every day. It is not good to get rid of the blood flow. In fact, it is really responsible for the hotel. Give us such a room, I don't know where the problem is? Is Ctrip or a hotel? I hope that Ctrip will give me a reply, which is a place where my accommodation experience is not satisfactory. Of course the breakfast at the hotel is very good, this is where I am satisfied.

Breakfast is just like it. Affordable is the advantage, the location is also superior, close to the relatively large shopping malls in Bayreuth, shopping malls are more abundant, the hotel's Greek restaurant is not easy to adapt.

and also a solid, slightly old-fashioned hotel in the best sense of the word: each room is slightly different but all (save one "emergency room" only given to stranded travelers with no other option) have a complete bath. The rooms are impeccably clean and quiet, the personell friendly and competent, breakfast involves too much single-portion packaging for me but offers everything a person could want, in-house wireless service gratis, own laundry and cleaning services, parking outside or in a garage for a small fee. Halfway between the town center and the "Grune Hugel," and five minutes from the train station make this family run hotel really convenient.

This hotel is about 20 yards from the Hauptbahnhof, step free so you can easily wheel your luggage there. I didn't hear any train noise however, they use those blinds that go up and down as well as the double glazing. There are steps into the hotel with it being an old building but the friendly staff are on hand to help you up with your luggage. I had a double room, it was huge. Lights and power sockets everywhere and excellent wifi. Maybe the decor was a bit outdated but it was very well maintained. Large bathroom with walk in shower and good ventilation and well-lit. Plenty of wardrobe space. Minibar with space for your own stuff, but sadly no kettle. I didn't ask for one though. If you are there for the Festival, there is the shuttle that leaves an hour before performance-time, one-way only. Never mind because I think this hotel is the closest large one to the Festspielhaus anyway. I walked back (as do most people it seems) in about 15 mins at a slowish pace. If you were going further on to the Goldener Anker for example, it would be another 10 mins. They serve a later supper for after the show. I had a very comfortable night's sleep and was one of the last for breakfast. No waiting for a table and lovely unhurried service from the staff. Good selection available. Reception staff very professional and spoke German very clearly so that even I could understand. Checkout time is 1100, check in is from 2pm. There is a little garden area in a courtyard, There is a cycle machine, sauna and some very light weights, nothing with which to exert oneself. Although I would not call this a "luxurious" hotel, it is not basic and is in very good condition, staff are friendly and it is an excellent location. Next time I am here I will certainly stay

We stayed here for a week for the Bayreuth Festival, and were very happy that we chose this one. The building a quite new, so everything works very well. The rooms even have proper air conditioning. The standard room is spacious, with a small kitchenette. There's also a laundry room in the basement for guests, so this hotel works well for an extended stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is a bit outside the city center, about 15-20 minute walk from the old town. We didn't mind the walk, it's mostly through the beautiful New Palace park. If you're driving, the location is very easy to get to from the Autobahn, and there's ample parking available for quests in the basement. There's a very nice local bakery with delicious breakfast combos 50m from the hotel. A grocery store (Lidl), and a drug store (DM) are right next to the bakery.

The hotel is located on a very attractive street in Bayreuth, a few steps from the stunning Margravial opera house, which is open for public tours. The hotel itself is a grand, traditional stone building. The interiors in the hallway, landing and restaurant/breakfast rooms all retain their vintage appearance, with beautiful wood panelling, antique furnishings and references to famous former guests of the hotel. The hotel has been run by the same family for generations. The owner and staff give a very personal and attentive service, and take pride in the hotel and its history. We even received a lovely birthday gift on behalf of the hotel during our stay. The breakfasts are cooked freshly to order. The evening meal menu was very flexible in adjusting to our needs and we enjoyed meeting the chef to discuss our order. Both the breakfast room and restaurant are lovely and charming rooms. Our bedroom was a good size. We very much liked the traditional and colourful furnishings and fabrics. The hotel feels very much a part of Bayreuth and the town's identity.
