0.28km from Auto Stop CafeRoom was very dirty and the ac didnt work, mold was in the fridge and stains all over the place. I took pictures to show the guy in the reception and we got another room, which was supposed to be the best room. It was just as dirty, and the red couch had black and white stains all over. I got a few pictures, but as we were so sad to see the condition, and i was so eager to find a solution after a long day, unfortunately i didnt get pictures of everything. We got back down to show how dirty this one also was, the receptionist told that they forgot to clean the rooms, and that he would call Booking.com to figure a refund out. An hour went by and nothing happened, so we decided to call Booking.com ourselves and they said no one from the hotel had reached out to them. They promised to call the hotel to try and figure something out, as it looked like we where getting scammed and they didn’t think we got the right treatment. Half an our later we then got to speak to the manager and he straight away told us we couldnt get our money back, even though they did nothing to prepare for our stay. He said we could only get upgraded, but as i tried to explain that we already got this offer and it was just as dirty as our first room, he cut us off all the time and didnt want to listen to us. When i tried showing him our pictures of the dirt he got very angry and didnt want to listen to us. “its your story” he just kept saying, as if i was making all these thing up. I asked him to go to the room and show how dirty it was, he then told us to leave and never come back. He wanted nothing to do with us and didnt try to help us out at all. From the moment he sat down with us, he was very uncomfortable, as he yelled at the old lady from the hotel. He got very aggresive, raised his voice, kicked us out without our money and treathened to call the police. Not ONCE did he not cut us off when we tried to speak. Never in my life have i experienced this type of behaviour. Please stay away from this hotel, we spent a total of 5 hours trying to get our money back and find another hotel, he completely ruined our first day on Crete and didnt care about us at all, and we never got our money. The receptionist found us on the street and talked to us. He fully believed we were in the right and that his manager treated us very pooly, he promised to try and talk to him and get some of our money back. Only positive thing i have to say about this hotel, though we didnt get any money. We left so disappointed, sad and shocked with no where to go. We highly recommend no one to work with this hotel or spend any kind of money on this guy!
