I highly DO NOT recommend the collaboration and booking a room in Hostal Ideal Badal. Due to the COVID19, it is not possible to change the date of the booking or get the refund of advance payment of this hostel. It is impossible to contact them because they don't answer neither mail nor calls. It is highly improfessional. Unfriendly approach to the guests.

Me and my friend stayed at this hostal last september. Really it didn't feel like a hostal at all we had our own twin room with a bathroom. We found the place very welcoming with the man at the desk being very helpful. It's close to public transport so you can easily get to main attractions in Barcelona. One thing we did find a bit odd is it was really hard to find because its in like an apartment building where other people live, and you have to press on a buzzer to get in the main door and then another buzzer to get in the hostal. This wasn't an issue as the man behind behind the desk was always quick to let us in, but it is a pain if you've just got outside and you've left something in your room you have to buzz in all over again. No complaints about the noise. We had a TV with plenty of channels as well and the room was always clean.

The hotel is relatively close to the subway station. At the beginning, it was mainly convenient to see the volcanic fountains. It is within 20 minutes to go to Mira House and Columbus Observation Deck. Strongly praise the bed in the room, it can sleep four people and it is not crowded, anyway, it feels like 2 large beds, independent quilts, so nice ~~ There are also kitchens, frying pans, utensils, refrigerators and kettles, especially It ’s not easy ~~ Of course, the room is relatively spacious, and the activities are not limited The hotel service is also very good. I was very patient and guided us to the airport by car. The little brother also drew a map for us with English. Hahaha A shop that will give full marks

Booked this because of positive reviews but found it to be quite average. The rooms on the ground floor are very noisy because they are next to the kitchen and washing machine. Also very close to reception, so you hear the staff and other guests all night and early in the morning. In room 2 you had to wait a long time for the water in the shower to get hot and there was no hot water in the sink. Also the bed was made of some strange foam so was not very comfortable. There was a free breakfast anytime you wanted (some bread, coffee, jam) and you could use the kitchen too. Location was ok - you could not walk to the tourist sights but there are buses five minutes walk away (Magoria La Campana) and metro 10/15 minutes walk (Mercat Nou/Placa Espanya). It was a residential area (watch out for the dog mess in the street!). Overall this was a cheap place but not very comfortable. I would suggest that if you stay here you do not stay on the ground floor.

This hotel is in a great location. You can easily get there from the airport by taking the AEROBUS from the airport and getting off at the FIRST stop. The hotel is 3 min walk from there. The hotel is also very close to a big metro station, which will help you get around. I thought the actual hotel was fine. The rooms were a bit small, and we were four. The beds were a bit small, but fine. The shower was amazing. Best shower maybe ever. The gym is pretty much non-existent, so don't expect much there. The breakfast is not worth it, so don't bother. Go out and get some better cheaper breakfast, or buy some stuff from the grocery store about 50 feet from the hotel. Lots of other restaurants around as well. I would say pricing wise, it is pretty good for the price. You won't get much better for the price unless you do airbnb, and in Barcelona Airbnb's cancel all the time. I would avoid that if possible, we had it happen to us later in the trip. Anxiety in that is not worth it. The staff at Hotel Azul are very good, and speak English. No complaints on that. A good solid hotel but not great!

Breakfast for 10 euros per person, to the nearby cafes for 4 to 5 euros, the room is small and it is not possible to have an extra bed. It is not suitable for children. The hotel is near the SANTS train station in Barcelona. The traffic is OK. There is an L5 subway at the entrance. If you travel, I recommend the 08828 Hotel Apartment. The room is large (one room and one living room) with induction cooker and microwave oven. There are also tableware to cook for yourself. There is a supermarket (fresh seafood is fresh) to buy it yourself, and the Chinese are open. Japanese restaurant, noodles and sushi, the price is slightly more expensive than the three, the price is very high, the L3 subway is convenient at the door.

I had a two week trip where I stayed at 5 hostels and this was by far the best one. The staff here is welcoming and warm, Eugenio, Tulio, literally everyone. They make free dinner nightly and unlike other hostels with free dinner it's not just a vat of bland pasta it's actually good :). There are daily tours and nightly pub crawls which many other hostels charge 10-15 euro for that are free here. The location is about a 30 minute walk or quick muni ride to the city center but far less tourists and pickpockets which was a huge plus. There is a cheap grocery store right around the corner and the kitchen is full of utensils to use. Free coffee and tea available and they'll wash and dry your laundry for 7 euro. They're in the process of updating the rooms, I got one of the new ones, amazing little pods with a privacy screen that pulls down. Amazing stay overall and I'll definitely be back!

The breakfast was great, it was a bit greasy for 10 days, and there seemed to be no other Chinese living during the period. There were a lot of American tours. The room is quite large, the location is unique, the Plaza de España is in the middle and the scenery is excellent. There is a large supermarket next to the supermarket. The subway hotel is out. Husband is living there on a business trip, it is highly recommended that friends who go to the first time

This place is a really good place to stay, I liked it allot. no complaints. however finding the place pissed me off, eventually it turns out you drive into the place, into the place and your car is parked behind a curtain. My wife were driving around Europe. My wife explained they have these sort of places in Brazil. I asked "What are you talking about" and she said "They are special places you go to eh....have privacy with your partner if you are having an affair or just looking know". So sure enough we get to our room and the corridors where black and red and lit with dim lights and candles. very gothic. I loved it I really did. In the room there was mirrors everywhere (electronically moved if you want). tv was big and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was big and private. adult channels, regular channels and music. I don't care what the place like this has a rep for, all I know is I liked it allot and the staff were helpful and the city centre was not far at all. you should check the place out.

When checking in, the waiter led us to the sofa area to explain in detail. This move is a bit special. Explain a few things (including my comments): 1. Barcel is very dangerous, the bag should be in front, always be vigilant, regardless of gender, no matter where! If someone is close, and he says to keep the distance, decisively refuse. The thief will not do it, just dare to steal, to be bold (this is very important, please be sure to pay attention!). 2. The hotel needs to dump the garbage by itself. There is a huge trash can on the opposite side of the hotel. It is not necessary to classify it (but in fact, when we checked in, there was a waiter coming in to help dump the garbage, and sometimes we also fell on our own). 3. Breakfast is provided every day. You need to fill out a form and submit it to the front desk before 11:00 the day before. There will be someone to send it to the room. This service is superb. (There are boiled eggs, ham, orange juice, etc., which saves us breakfast!). 4. The kitchen should be kept clean and tidy. 5. The hotel has a parking lot, 22 euros a day, need to be explained in advance, because the parking lot is under the hotel, you need to detour to enter, you can ask the waiter to guide. 6. The hotel's water is too much, it is recommended to go to the green m prefix supermarket to buy boiled water. You can ask the clerk about 400 meters from the supermarket. 7. The hotel is very good, soundproof, well equipped, the room is large, the only thing is that the hot water is just enough, because the balcony is connected, the sound insulation is a bit bad, but I think it is harmless. You can rest assured that you can book. Review from Virgo

Fortunately, I chose this hotel at the beginning, and I was quite satisfied with it, especially the Chinese staff and comfortable beds. Would recommend to friends. Location: It is about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and the price is about 35 Euros. Going to the airport can ask the front desk for help. There are two supermarkets within 100 meters from the entrance and turning left. The medium-sized (much larger than 7-11) has everything in stock, especially the second one is more complete! Closed on Sundays, the slightly larger one is open until 21:30. Because there are so many thieves in the subway, the whole process is mainly walking and taxiing. The subway station does not know how far away. It is about a 10-minute walk from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló, and nearby (15-minute walk) there are Chinese food and a super delicious shop. Hygiene, facilities: Very clean, two bottles of free mineral water every day, and non-heavy chocolates on the pillow. The bed was comfortable, not hard or soft, and the quilt was particularly comfortable. Hangers, disposable slippers, disposable toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, safe are all available, and there is a mini pool and gym upstairs. Fruits and discount cards were also given on the first day of stay. Service: the best! On the first day, the front desk was assisted by a young Chinese service man who helped bring luggage to the room and sent us a map to introduce the location of the attractions. I can basically meet him in the next few days, greet him warmly, and asked him many questions, I really appreciate it! The service is also highly recommended for this hotel. Some suggestions: The shelf in the bathroom will touch the arm, the air conditioner in the room will respond slowly, and both pieces of the bathrobe will be damaged.

Stayed here for three nights in July. We ended up here by accident after our original hotel cancelled, but couldn’t have worked out better. The junior suite is generous by any hotel’s standards and the bathroom is excellent. The hotel is really well located, and we more or less walked everywhere. You can walk to the really nice restaurant district of Born and the beach very easily as well. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, despite the challenging circumstances all hotels find themselves in at the moment. The rooftop bar is the highlight though, with stunning views across the city, great cocktails and and a great soundtrack. Sitting in the pool and then having drinks up there was a highlight of the holiday. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar’s ‘Instagram corner’ where bored but clearly well trained boyfriends/husbands would take 847 pictures of a partner pouting at various different angles or acrobatic poses. The one woman dance routine on one occasion was a little much though. Maybe we’re just too British. When things return to normal (please!) we will definitely be back. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of style and luxury in their holiday. Special shout out to the reception staff who were very patient with my Spanish! It made me feel much more competent than I am.

Arrived at 10:30am on a Friday morning, chanced our arm with seeing if we can check in early and the lady at the desk was very helpful and found us a room and we were able to check in very early. We were on floor 3 facing out the front, a lot of road noise at night times, beeping horns etc. Rooms are standard, twin bed and not a double though, find thats quite common in Spain. Minifridge with nothing in it so can store your own stuff. Shower/Bath had a few marks and bits out of it but nothing major that made you disgusted. Had breakfast there once, was told the breakfast stopped at 10:30 so went down at 10 oclock to be told at 10 past it will be closing in 5 minutes, didnt both us too much as plenty of food places near. (Would highly recommend the french toast in the little french place over the road.) All in all a good hotel with nice rooms and not too much of a walk to everything roughly 20-30 mins.

My stay at the HG Suites was mid week through the weekend. I had a room on the seventh floor, so this may be why all the other reviews about noise are lost on me - I didn't hear much noise from the street (only a little from 06h to 06h30 on Sunday morning from the pizza joint across the road on the side street) and certainly nothing from the metro. From what I could tell from the floor map, most rooms are on the side street, not Via Augusta, so I don't see why noise should be an issue. The bed was very firm and blissfully comfortable, though the pillows were too soft for my liking. The rainforest shower was amazing. Housekeeping was thorough and remembered everything. They did, however, annoy me when they kept turning the air con off so I'd come back to a humid and stuffy room. I believe a guests preference for the entire night they paid for should override housekeeping's comfort for the 20 mins they're in there. The room was sold to me with no mention of breakfast being included, yet croissants, juice and coffee every morning for free was a pleasant perk. Snacks are available from a 'vending machine' - drinks just sit on a shelf, they're not refrigerated as there's no door, so warm water and warm coke are the drink options. The only problems for me were the painfully slow elevator and the fact that my door key seemed to reset every evening so I had to keep returning to the reception to have it recoded. These are obviously not huge problems. I'd recommend this place.

It is still a little distance to walk with the luggage to the subway station, but the subway station is Diagonal, and the main attractions can be reached. In fact, it is more than enough to go on your legs. The cathedral, the Mira House, and the Casa Batllo are all very convenient. I eat a lot around, all locals. It ’s a good place to drink and chat at night. The hotel has a very artistic atmosphere, a gallery, a spiral staircase that can be stepped up, a rustic style, the rooms are not large, but every day There is also bed chocolate, and the front desk is very patient. English is just like me. He is also very patient to help. Tickets and tickets for later trips are printed here. There are recommended tourist buses and free maps at the front desk. Although the breakfast is not rich in variety, the taste is also good, the bread is delicious, the last day is too late to have breakfast, and also helped to package the breakfast ~ overall recommended

First of all, the location is good. It is basically walkable from Milan House and Casa Batllo. The internet celebrity restaurant that walks for 5 minutes nearby also went to check in. It is indeed worthy of the name. It is recommended to go at 5 pm, there is basically no line up, and the line must be lined up at other times. Free big apples are available at the front desk the next day. The room is ok. The room is cleaned very late every day. Sometimes when I come back from noon to rest and have n’t cleaned, I just ask someone to change the bath towel and I do n’t need to clean it again. The big bed was very comfortable, because the room was facing the street, and the window would be noisy. No kettle, you need to bring your own. Slippers, dental appliances, shampoo and everything. Overall I feel the price is ok, if you go back next time you can consider staying.
