Was für ein schöner Ort- es startet gleich mit der netten und offenen Begrüssung durch das Team und endet mit der herzlichen Verabschiedung der Inhaberin Andrea. Ein individuelles Konzept, optisch und qualitativ auf höchstem Niveau- ein Traum weit ab von bekannten Einheits- Hotels- das macht mich happy. Der grosszügige SPA Bereich ist für mich persönlich das Highlight- neben der persönlichen und super netten Betreuung durch das Team. Auch wenn wir zu einen Arbeitsmeeting vor Ort waren- so war es doch wie versprochen- hoch gekommen um runter zu kommen. See you!

Ein besonderer Dank geht an das Küchenpersonal. Eine sehr gute und professionelle Mannschaft. Das ist heute nicht unbedingt überall der Fall. This family-run hotel enjoys a central location in the Upper-Bavaria spa town of Bad Tölz, within easy walking distance of all the important sights and facilities. You will appreciate the location of the Hotel Alpenhof, right in the heart of town, close to the spa centre (Kurhaus), tourist office and the Ludwigstraße pedestrian area. The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms and apartments. These are furnished with warm, friendly colours, and a modern Bavarian style. Relax in the in-house spa area, with its pool, sauna, steam bath, hot tub and gym. There is also an outdoor sunbathing area with a Kneipp pool. Guests staying here can park for free and also enjoy free wireless internet access throughout the whole hotel.

The best in advance: The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is an old building, and that can have its charm. Well, we didn't really find it. The reception is quite pragmaticly located in the staircase, but well. Tree up - there is a soft linoleum floor for the first time. Another stairs up - and then the shock: The room was very spacious, but sincerely no longer acceptable: The beds were crossed, the facility was cheap and sometimes broken, dust wires on the walls - I better stop. The bathroom was even worse: stick box half stripped out of the wall, awful toilet seat, bad tiles that are no longer to clean because of age, black flirts, ... I think the picture is clear. Renovation is urgently necessary - and, honestly, you can't offer the rooms to guests like this. The price is the most heavy - a worse price-performance ratio I have not experienced on many trips inside and abroad. I can only speak for our room - perhaps others are better. Location: quite far outside the city center, but you know that before. To walk about 15-20 Min to the old town - a very nice way to walk.
