Hotels Near Avion Club In Prague
0.4km from Avion ClubThis is in an older building in the Holesovice Arts District. It has great Tram access to everywhere in Prague. The Holesovice Train Station is nearby but the stop is very short. We stayed in the 'Balcony' ensuite room. There were hardwood floors and a comfortable king bed with a firm mattress and with those quirky double duvets, bigger than usual. You could step onto the balcony to gauge the temperature outside. The heating was good, and adjustable. There was a coffee and tea space with a sink. It was pretty quiet. The shower was the weakest point of the suite. There was no shower curtain or soap dish. The acceptable hot water adjustment had a very tiny range, so we were always searching for the right temperature. Thre was some unpleasant odor coming from the shower drain, and it was sometimes out into the coffee area. Only one of us noticed it. The pub in the basement is a great place to meet people. The breakfast buffet there has a lot of items to choose from and we ate there several times. The elevator stops on a landing halfway between floors so you still have some steps to get to your room. The washer and dryer have limited settings so if you need 'delicate' you are out of luck. The staff at this hostel is VERY friendly and diverse. They can give you good advice if you ask. This IS a good place to base yourself for a stay in Prague

0.68km from Avion ClubI booked the bigger room (22 sqm. with twin beds) for which I paid extra. But I was given the smaller one (15 sqm. and double bed). It was obvious they gave me the cheaper room because I saw the exact room pictures before booking. I asked them that they gave me the wrong room, so they changed my room on another floor but again the exact same small room. I felt cheated but I ignored because I didn’t want to spoil my trip. Breakfast, was Ok but the options were very limited.. usually hotels of this price range give more options. The free Parking was around 5-6 minutes walking distance (the parking within the hotel was paid).
0.8km from Avion ClubWe booked this hotel via another website since we both got flights and accommodation, I have to say, really nice and suuper clean hotel! We were five so we got, two rooms, one for two and another for three. The rooms were clean and pretty spacious, in the room for three we also had a balcony, which was soo nice, and in the morning we were able to see amazing sun rises. The staff of the hotel was so available to answer our question, and we also booked the shuttle from the hotel to airport, and they also printed our boarding passes for the way back! I definitely do recommend this hotel! P.S. Really really close to the metro station, that we didn’t take because of the good weather and because from the center was actually no more than 3 Km, so if u want to walk around Prague, u can just not take it! God I almost forgot! U have to see the breakfast set up in the morning, breakfast time from 6:30 till 11:00 but I loved everything, from the sausages, to the yogurt, passing through croissant and bacon, scrambled eggs, fruits, veggie... really have nothing bad to say about it! Just to repeat myself another time! Sometimes hotel rooms are hard to kept clean, because it the curtains, carpets or other, I have to say this one was amazingly clean! Go to Prague, and definitely go to the Hotel Royal Prague

0.84km from Avion ClubTraveled to Prague with my family. There are 5 of us, so we required two rooms. One room was the standard European 2 twin beds, quite small, but adequate. The other room was much larger with a king sized bed and a full-size pull-out couch and a lot of extra space. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The lobby of this hotel is very cozy with stuffed chairs, couches, and electric fireplaces. The check-in counter is also a bar which was quite nice. The breakfast is very good with many hot and cold options. The hotel is about a 25-minute walk from the main action, a straight shot along one road. There is a metro station only two or three blocks away as well. Since the weather was nice, we mostly walked to downtown, but did use the metro to go to Prague Castle. Overall, would recommend for a reasonably priced, comfortable stay in Prague.

1.04km from Avion ClubThe room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of fresh towels and clean bedding. Could do with more coat hangers in the wardrobes though. The morning after we arrived we went for breakfast. We sat for 45 minutes before anyone took our order, didn't even have a drink. When I asked if we could be served, all I got was "I'm coming" however he had served 3 other tables that came in after us. After over an hour we finally received our breakfast, which was edible, but not very nice. However the service was so bad that we didn't eat there again for the rest of our trip and we had to pay elsewhere for breakfast. The lady on reception was very surly and quite rude, she made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. We asked about tickets to Prague castle, as it said in the brochure in our room that they offered discounts. She was very rude when telling us they "don't do tickets". The location was fantastic, very close to the metro; but the staff and breakfast were enough to put us off coming again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.
1.05km from Avion ClubHotel is quite close to metro station, line C - red which makes it quite good to get around nice selection of breakfast, although coffee could be a bit tastier nice modern renovated rooms in different styles we did not use the spa, due little time and seems not be worth the extra money real double bed would have been great, but unfortunately quite standard in lots of hotels

1.09km from Avion ClubWe arrived today, took one look at the place and wanted to leave. Physically could not stay in the room. So dirty, mattress was thin like a prison bed. Smells really bad when you first walk in, like the place could do with a good air out. No one could speak English (which isnt all bad but when youre trying to get a refund it makes it very difficult) the staff shouted at us to get out after we made it clear that we didnt want to stay, the staff where also wearing pajama like clothes, not very proffesional? There is nothing to do near by. Extremely run down place, clear that no one cares. You can get so much better for your money elsewhere and closer to the centre. Avoid at all costs honestly, it will ruin your holiday. Nearly ruined ours!! I never normally leave bad reviews anywhere but i felt like i had to warn people about wasting their money at this place.

1.11km from Avion ClubBooked as a package on Travelocity; then very, very apprehensive after reading reviews here and elsewhere. Just spent 4 late September nights there, traveling solo. Here's what I found. Located 5 minutes from Invalidovna Metro station, and that is only 5 minutes from downtown Prague, so easy and quick to get to. Area appears to be developing. Small supermarket between metro and hotel; and brand spanking new office blocks across the street with restaurants on the ground floors. These look less than a year old. Some parts of the area looked sketchy, but I never felt unsafe walking from the metro. Staff may not speak English well, but so what?, I had no problems checking in. Plus I got there at 11am expecting to have to check my bags - but my room was ready (on a Sunday). Elevators are small but NEW and fast. My one bedroom was spacious actually and on the 18th floor with a great view. Room is a bit dated, but was clean and cleaned every day. Bathroom looked less than a year old, new tile, new fixtures. Always had good water pressure and temperature. Did not need or try air conditioning, cracking the window was all I needed. TV had lots of Czech channels (Imagine that!) but also BBC and an English sports channel. Now here are the cons. The mattress wasn't a mattress but a mattress pad, about 1.5 inches thick. It wasn't the best, woke up and parts of my body were asleep. Two of these on top of each other would be better. Breakfast is free and extensive, but do agree that the quality is lacking. There are hot and cold items. This place does a booming tourist bus business apparently as the dining room was sometimes packed in the morning. My breakfast was fried eggs, yogurt with granola, watermelon, pastries. They also have cold cuts and cheese. Wifi, wifi, wifi. Probably my biggest complaint. Great in the lobby, not so great on the 18th floor. Came in and out. Probably worked steady 70% of the time in my room, steady with low signal. Would I stay here again? I travel cheap and only need a hotel room for like 8-9 hours, so yeah, I would.
Hotels Near Avion Club In Prague Review
We just got back from our 7-day trip to Prague and we had the best hotel experience staying at Park Inn Hotel. The whole staff was very kind and available for any request 24/7. Our room was gorgeous, extremely spacious and cozy, with two walls covered in large windows that faced the Moldava River and the streets of Prague. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very comfortable since I prefer long hot baths and my boyfriend takes quick showers. Moreover we had three different Dove hand-body wash/shampoo dispensers that were free to use. The cleaning service works everyday, but I noticed a few problems, like some dirt on the carpet in a corner behind the entrance door and two or three rose petals under our bed on our very first day (maybe because it was February 15th and we checked-in earlier than we were supposed to, so the cleaning lady didn't have enough time to and they also offer laundry service. There's a restaurant on the ground floor where we had breakfast everyday, and it serves a vast range of dishes and beverages (eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, cheese, potato pancakes, butter, bread, pastries, jams, cereal, milk, smoothies, all kinds of coffee and tea and so much more). The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, but the prices are a lot higher than in a local restaurant in the city, so we didn't try it. The hotel is 4 minutes away from two different tram stops (Vytón [where there's also a ticket machine with a card reader in case you don't have any change] and Albertov) and just 300mt away from a tiny supermarket named Tesco for any groceries necessity.
Myself and my husband stayed here for three nights as part of BA package. The hotel was only a short transfer from the hotel and is right next to Metro and Tram transport links. The hotel is very modern, clean, and quiet - at times we felt like we were the only people staying there! The reception staff were always very polite. We were able to get into our room as soon as we arrived and they were able to always help us - we bought transport tickets from them at reception, changed money from notes to coins and also used the luggage storage service upon checking out. The only slight disappointment is that there were a range of items provided in the fridge in the room (water, beer, pepsi and cholocate) and we were only aware that these were chargeable upon checkout when we were billed for them! We have stayed in many hotels around the world were obviously items in the mini bar are chargable, however this has always been made clear on a sign in the room, but we have also stayed in hotels were the items are complimentary. Also don't forget you will get billed a nightly tax at the end of your stay. We did however have a lovely stay at the Diplomat and nothing was too much trouble. We would return here if ever returning to Prague.
My husband booked this as a surprise 18th Wedding Anniversary get away. The hotel is beautiful. Comfortable and immaculately clean. A stone's throw from the metro which was so easy to navigate. We went all over. The Architecture is just stunning. We were lucky with the weather....not too cold, but all courtyard bars have blankets to snuggle under with heaters. Be prepared to walk alot if sightseeing is your thing. And no high heels. All the streets and roads are cobbled. Food and drink are so cheap and the beer is crazy cheap. We lived our time away. The breakfast was a huge selection. And although there isn't tea or coffee making in the rooms, it's available all around the hotel complimentary. We loved the little linen bag you hang out every day for a little surprise. Easy check in and out. Definately recommend.
This hotel is located on the edge of Prague's Old Town. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Prague Square, which is a long way. Uber is recommended (Uber in Czech is very convenient and cheap). The hotel facilities are a bit old and had to be renovated about 5-8 years ago. The lobby downstairs is very bright, the afternoon tea in the lobby bar is delicious, and there is a small casino on the ground floor (Prague has many such small casinos, this is considered regular). There is a small shopping mall downstairs and a supermarket inside (not 24 hours, it closes at about 20:00)
I am a frequent traveler to the Czech Republic, so I am frequently coming and going through Prague. I have stayed at many hotels in Prague ... and The Emblem is absolutely the best. I stay nowhere else now. #1 ... is the SERVICE. Absolutely stellar staff ... Erika, Teresa, et. al. have gone over the top many times to make my visit the best. #2 ... LOCATION. Right near Old Town Square ... near Charles Bridge ... near the trams. Perfect location. #3 ... SPA ... massage ... fitness .... #4 ... FOOD ... the attached Michelin-star'd dining restaraunt is spectacular. I recommend The Emblem ...without reservation. It is the best.
Thanks to BA cancelling my flight, i ended up with a night here at the Grandior. Centrally located for the Metro, trams and only a one stop metro ride from the Main railway station. I have stayed in Na Porici before and there are loads of good bars & restaurants close by. The hotel public areas and rooms are immaculate. Service was some of the best that i have had in the Czech republic, that can sometimes be a little surly at other locations. At breakfast time, guests are asked to wear masks to the buffet breakfast, however once at the table these can obviously be removed. On the subject of the breakfast it was more than adequate. If i was a little picky, i would like to see the selection of cold meat and fresh fruit expanded. The only pain for me at the hotel was that the lifts are operated by the room cards and these could be a little temperamental. Thought being so close to the road would be noisy but shouldn't have worried. Would definitely stay here again.
