A very super clean place! I'm a very hard customer to please! I work very hard for my money and I want my money to work hard for me! Covid has terrified me around people and because of a water leak I have been missed placed. Having said that, residence inn at William center was fabulous! They welcome you even the guests are welcoming. They listened to your specific situation And just anything and everything they can do to make your stay and life a little better! And I'm not talking about just one employee from the groundskeeper, maintenance, housekeeping, front desk, manager everyone was accommodating polite clean welcoming I can't say enough good things about them! And it feels like we're getting a little back to normal, and I am very grateful about that! It more than a hotel…it’s like coming home!

It is the most recommended hotel in our trip to the United States! The room is very spacious and the suite is a standard American breakfast. Although it is not as good as the breakfast at the domestic star hotel, it can basically satisfy the breakfast needs. The size of the hotel is small, but the sparrow is small and well-organized.

We were displaced because of home repairs, when we first got to the hotel we struggled because the king sized bed was directly against the loft wall in which the wall above the bed was about a foot and a half and my climber toddler kept trying to jump on that bed. NOT family friendly. All the bigger rooms for a family of 5 are on the second floor. Again NOT family friendly as the walls are extremely thin. Sounds like you are jumping on the floor when you are just walking up or down the stairs. Floors and walls are gross. Don't get me started on the handrails for the stairs. The sheets are insane, absolutely no fitted sheets its 2 or 3 flat sheets to cover the mattress. Missing plates for the lights, only half the lights work in the room. Want to cook in the kitchen? You have a pot and pan, but need to use a fork or teaspoon to cook with. Need to cut something your option is a butter knife. There is absolutely no way to cook in the oven unless you go and purchase supplies. Coffee maker was broken, and coffee in the lobby was only available until 9:30 am. No sponge, no soap to wash dishes you need to go buy that too. There is a dishwasher, but unless you go buy detergent you can only run the dishwasher once during your stay. Regardless of if you have a Studio or a 2 bedroom Suite, housekeeping is only allowed 30 mins every 7 days to clean/ make the beds / get clean towels. Lastly the internet? Not strong enough to actually to use if you work from home and are displaced. BUT the beds were comfortable. And I could print for free in the lobby if I knew were I could find what needed to be printed.

When I arrived at the hotel, due to time constraints, there was no double bed room originally scheduled. I gave a double bed and sofa bed room. It is also possible. The environment is quite good. There are many Koreans staying, so there will be porridge and kimchi for breakfast. Still quite satisfied, the parking lot is large, you can park on the side of the accommodation

Preface: I am an airline flight crew member who lives over half of my life in hotels. This is the hotel our airline puts us up. We do not stay in luxury 5 star hotels... Upon check-in we were given a notice that there is no daily housekeeping because the hotel is unable to hire enough housekeepers and their occupancy is up and they are not able to meet demand. Also, to call the front desk if amenities are needed. I cal the front desk anyway? We stay in hotels for about 8 to 10 hours at a time so I never use daily housekeeping. Having said this, the room was clean and the property appears well maintained. The reason for the low rating: The walls are ridiculous thin. One can hear conversation in the adjacent rooms clearly. One can hear TV as well. I'm talking about TV and conversation that is reasonable levels. I don't want to be a whiner, but it's (that) bad. The gym is sp****. A couple of cardio machines. A set of mismatched dumbbells that go to 40 lbs. Some of the weight increments are missing and some are missing one of the dumbbells. I know hotels have a problem with theft of dumbbells from those who steal these to use as weights for flea market tent hold downs. The gym is small as well. In room has a nice TV. Has one of those crappy CV1 coffeemakers. Small refrig. in room and a real bath tub as opposed to walk in shower. A big deal breaker!!! (If I were choosing a hotel) Has one of those motion sensing thermostats which is also controlled remotely! These should be BANNED! No problem with staff. They seemed friendly and attentive.

Very surprised at the size of the room ...Walk into one room that has a tv and 2 easy chairs and a big couch and coffee table and refrigerator...Walk into the next door and there is a small hallways with microwave etc on right and to left is the door to the bathroom ...Walk thru the archways and 2 double beds and a big tv etc ....YES, it could use a lil TLC in some spots like the bathroom door and the bathtub but for the $$$ amount I was happy ... Breakfast is always the same..Scrambled eggs, bacon, homefries, tortillas for some mexican type food, oj or cranberry juice, pancakes, toast, coffee cereal, oatmeal ...WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FOR FREE ??? I stayed here not because I needed to be near the airport but because it's not far from the San Xavier del Bac mission, which I wanted to see. I got the two-room suite, which is as big as two regular rooms and it has two doors to the bathroom, one from the bedroom and one from the "living room", so if you have someone sleeping on the sofa sleeper they can access the bathroom without disturbing the people in the bedroom. The property, including the furnishings, look a bit old but not worn-out or dirty. I'm guessing it's '80s vintage. I heard planes in the distance starting at 6 am but they weren't a bother. But at 8 am we were being buzzed by fighter jets, and they were really loud. Apparently Tucson airport is home to military jets as well. I don't know how often they fly, and they did wait until 8, but it might not be a good choice if you're a late sleeper. The breakfast was good, both hot and cold offerings.

I decided to take a weekend to rest and relax in Arizona, escaping a cold New York winter, and couldn't have been happier with my decision to stay at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass. The trip was just as relaxing as I had hoped, and the Marriott's property is beautiful. I worked remotely from my room on Friday, and the internet was fast and reliable, with a working station spacious enough to feel comfortable. Despite not having a city-facing view from my room, I did enjoy waking up to a hill of Saguaro cacti that faced the back of the property. During my three days at the hotel, I ate lunch at the Signature Grill, dinner at Primo (an Italian restaurant on the property), and had drinks on the patio overlooking the city of Tucson. All meals (and drinks!) were delicious, coupled with great service. I really enjoyed the views from the hotel's huge patio - a really memorable night sipping wine and looking at the stars and city lights. I should mention how I spent most of my days, visiting Saguaro National Park (both the East and West districts, across three days). The resort was extremely well-located to visit the West district of the park, and while I was worried that it might be too far away from the East district, I enjoyed a ~25 minute drive across the city of Tucson, and it definitely wasn't difficult. Some of the best hikes that I did across the park and region were Wasson Peak (King Canyon Trailhead), Valley View Overlook Trail, Picacho Peak, Douglas Spring/Bridal Wreath Falls Trail, and Tanque Verde Ridge. Overall, I left my stay feeling very well-rested, and with a new appreciation for the Tucson area. A good chance that I'll be back! And finally, I would be remiss not to mention two members of the hotel concierge - Faith and Dani-Rae - for their extremely warm welcome after a very difficult travel day, and kind follow-up the next day. It really made my trip (and I hope they had a good time in New Orleans)! Also a shout-out to the free parking and spacious lot on the property - certainly a convenience not found everywhere.

We are BW Rewards members and this is our second time at this motel. This is an older property, but it is completely updated and well maintained. Landscaping is mature and groomed. We parked right in front of our room. There is a restaurant/lounge on site. Motel guests are offered a free, cooked to order breakfast (from a smaller, but totally adequate menu). Now the best attribute of this motel is the front desk help. Angela has helped us on both our stays and she is a "jewel". She is helpful and pleasant, and she knows her"stuff". If you have questions, or need help with anything Best Western, she can help!

Let me preface this with the fact that we almost always stay at a Holiday Inn Express when we take a couple day trip. It’s reliable, affordable, and has free breakfast. I arrived at this HIE expecting the same thing. When I checked in, I was informed that there was a possibility of no hot water for showers. I asked when they knew about this issue and they said two days ago. A repair was not going to happen until three days later. In other words, they knew about this and waited to tell me as I checked in which is very shady. I asked for a discount and they said they couldn’t authorize that. At this point, I had just flown 4 1/2 hours and then drove 2 hours and hiked the other part of the day. I had no energy to find another hotel room during spring break so we ended up staying. And as promised, in the morning, there was no hot water for our showers. It’s one thing to have issues like this and let me know in advance. I could have changed my reservation to a different HIE. But waiting till I got there to tell me made me feel trapped. As a side note, one of my favorite things about the HIE express stay is the pancake machine and even that was broken. Breakfast was odd too with no eggs and a variety of other odd offerings. On the good side, they had the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had there and the place was very clean.

Price wasn’t bad. As a whole the hotel looks pretty good, lobby area was nice, employees were friendly. But first I booked a double Queen and they moved my family of 4 to a single king and gave me a rollaway. At first glance the room looked ok but upon closer look it was fairly dirty. Dead bugs in all the lights, stains on the bedding, dead bug smashed on the wall, markings and dirty on the walls. Doors have a sizeable gap at the bottom and walls are thin so you hear everything. And during the 3 nights we were here people were very loud and inconsiderate of other guests, slamming doors, running down the hallway. The rollaway was completely stained over most of the bed. Over all very meh stay.

I chose this hotel because the reviews were decent and the price for dogs per night was reasonable. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and many of them were just average...but almost always clean. That's my biggest issue with this hotel. As soon as I walked into the room, it smelled. Then I turned to the bathroom and there was hair all over the sink. The shelves above the sink were coated in dust, clearly never seeing a cleaning cloth in ages. The bathtub had hair and other stuff in it before we ever touched it. The toilet seat was dirty. The desk in the room and the bedside table had dirt and rings leftover from drinks, clearly never wiped down. Even the chairs were dirty. I was suspicious that they didn't clean the bedding, but I was honestly too tired to care. There was no hand soap in the entire room (we searched). The dispenser for hair products in the shower was broken, and the metal piece almost landed on my husband's foot. I didn't really mind the wear on everything, including the walls and doors. I just care about cleanliness, and the things that weren't clean could have taken an extra 2 minutes to do. Instead, I had to wipe everything down before feeling comfortable using anything. I see a lot of reviews on hotels that I feel are too critical or are expecting too much... I honestly was disgusted by how dirty this room was. It was late when we got in, or I would have mentioned it to the front desk. We did mention the broken shower dispenser (to save someone else from getting hurt), and they offered 1,000 extra points. I appreciate the gesture. I also want to mention that there is no free breakfast (someone said there is in a different review), and the coffee was out of order when we were there. No insulation between rooms, so we got to listen to our neighbor's TV and music like they were staying with us. Once again, wouldn't have cared about all this other stuff if the room was just clean! I recommend staying elsewhere, even if you have to pay a little more. The Comfort Inn nearby looked really nice, and is located in a better area. I don't want to leave this review though without mentioning a few positives: - beds were comfortable - kitchenette was useful and the stove worked well - I liked the ample size of the desk for eating - the lady at the front desk seemed nice when checking out

Stayed here whilst in tuscon visiting from london for family occasion We chose here for three reasons primarily. 1)location 2)pool 3)cost To be fair it ticked those 3 boxes The room was clean/spacious with tea coffee facility/safe/fridge /ironing board.Large walk in shower/comfy bed Although you had to request maid service if you wanted room cleaned and things replemished .Manager was very friendly as'were the maids /and other staff although i think they were understaffed in the lobby bar(one occasion my son gave up waiting and helped himself to a drink and left the money on the till 😂 and also in the main bar by pool which was closed on the mon/tues and didnt open until 5.30pm and closed at 9.30pm,the other days That said it didnt spoil our stay. And compared to where i wanted to stay originally the sheraton was much cheaper and as such reflects in certain areas of the hotel .In all a pleasant stay bearing in mind the price and the pool was a saving grace. If you ae on a limeted budget i would recommend. If however you have a few dollars more there are better options .(;Hacienda del sol guest ranch resort springs to mind). You get what you pay for.7/10

This property is a timeshare and I am an owner. That being said I have stayed at this property many times in the past several years and the location in mid town Tucson is its greatest asset. On the down side some of the furniture is a little worn. Also there is no oven just a microwave and a 2 burner stove so if you want to do much cooking you will be limited. On the up side there is a gas grill outside for use by the guests. Just let the front desk know and they will light it for you and provide grilling utensils. There is also a dishwasher and a full size sink in the kitchen. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help. Request a room facing the courtyard as they are quieter.

Lifelong Marriott frequenter and member of the Bonvoy loyalty program Hotel is clean and is conveniently located for downtown activities Unfortunately some of those activities take away from a better rating. The hotel is near bars and restaurants and the windows are not properly insulated to keep out the noise. Both night of our 2 day stay resulted in hearing loud music and street noise well past midnight. Also the walls are thin and it was easy to hear the tv in the next room. One thing the hotel can’t do much about were the loud guests in the hall late at night. While a well appointed and comfortable room, the pretty glass door closing off the bathroom rattled terribly, making a late night/early morning trip to the bathroom a wake up call One of the elevators appeared to be out of order yet there was no sign. It was not unusual to wait 10 minutes for an elevator to appear. Unfortunately the elevator was frequently dirty, but that was due to patrons. But it would have been nice for the hotel staff to monitor One safety concern was that the parking garage was open to the public and any floor was easy to access despite the sign saying a room key was required. That was not the case. While the hotel does not have a full time restaurant it does have a bar w a limited food menu. Unfortunately the bar was closed by the time we arrived back at the hotel at 11:15 pm on a Saturday night. Seems a bit short sighted when the neighborhood was busy…and their tv message said 4 pm to close. I guess close was at the discretion of the bartender Overall a mediocre to disappointing stay. We will not be returning to this property in our next visit in 6 weeks

The lobby of this hotel is very nice. The pictures of the double staircase lead the reserver to believe it is a classy facility of days long past. It really is nothing of the sort. They are renovating the rooms, however. I "think" we got one of those, but it was not easy to tell. The a/c-heating unit was extremely noisy, but we were thankful that it had a "constant" fan button to help with that and to drown out the train a few blocks away. The good: The bed was soft, as were the pillows, water pressure in the shower was good, towels were adequate size. The room was clean and well decorated. Be careful, the bathroom floor is smooth tile and when it gets wet, it is slippery. The hairdryer was good quality with a lot of power. The front desk staff was very welcoming. The bad: No conditioner, just conditioning shampoo in a bottle half the size of other hotels. What is one to do with long hair? There is a lot of noise from the hallway due to the doors being too thin. We didn't hear any noise from neighbors, but the sound of doors opening and closing down the hallway along with conversations was a constant. Speaking of noise, who lets their renovation crew play extremely loud music while working at a hotel? I was trying to work in the afternoon on a web call and my colleagues could hear the music. The trash from the renovations was just thrown out of the rooms (mattresses, curtains, toilet paper), all within the view of our window. I wish I had taken a picture of the mess that we had a view of. Needless to say, we kept our curtains closed the whole time. Had there not been trash everywhere, we would have had a view of the pool, a large grassy area, and a beautiful orange tree. I think either the crew needs to be cognizant of the fact that people are their on vacation, so don't make it a non-pleasant one, or close the whole place down while you renovate. You are not allowed to bring coolers in , or any outside food or drink to the pool, but none is available for purchase either. They do have a snack bar with limited choices to purchase at the front desk. The restaurant is closed except for breakfast, which you need a ticket for. There is no bar area. So, no restaurant or bar and there is NOTHING within walking distance of this hotel. You will have to drive anywhere you want to go. There is not even a convenience store nearby. The lighting in the bathroom is pretty dismal. No pad or paper to write. I wanted to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff, but had no way to write a note to let them know the money was for them to take. Calling yourself a "boutique" hotel doesn't make it so.

We liked the look of the outside and expected the inside to be nicer, especially being a Marriott. The room was spacious and clean, but the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, leading to not much sleep. The TV was in a spot parallel to the bed making it hard to watch, and we had to rearrange the furniture in order to unfold the sleeper couch (which was completely unmade, and the bedding was stored in a bag in the closet). Seeing as how we paid $300 for the night I was expecting a whole lot more. I've stayed at hotels for less and received a lot more in the way of amenities, convenience and better service (there was no one at the front desk to check out in the morning and I had to walk around looking for an employee, who just told me to leave my key at the desk, and then proceeded to carry on with her conversations with the other employee). I will definitely not be staying here again unless it's the last room in the ENTIRE city of Tucson.

So I just walked up to check in at gate. Also, the motel is on a bus route which goes downtown although in a circuitous long route.

I'm not sure if it ever was or not, but this Double Tree Suites has the feel of a former Embassy Suites. We stayed here as part of a Gate 1 tour. We had no fault with the room at all. It was extremely spacious (except, strangely, for the itty-bitty cramped bathroom) and comfortable. However, the property is demonstrating some wear around the edges and could use some touching up. There is a restaurant on the premises, Finnegan's, which despite its name is not at all Irish. It is pretty good and we ate there twice. The convenience is that you don't have to leave the hotel and go hunting around for someplace to eat. We departed by motor coach on a week-long tour to Mexico from the hotel and I was able to leave my car at the hotel, which was a great benefit.

We stayed 2 nights at the Westin. It was a pricey splurge but the pools and grounds seemed very nice for our family of 3 (and dog). First - they are very accommodating to pets and don't charge extra. As for the other details, I asked for a room with a view, but we ended up facing a tree with a tiny side view of the mountain. The resort didn't seem packed - I thought they'd be more accomodating. FYI the rooms are quite far from the lobby but no one really offered help or even outlined the most direct path. We ended up walking way out of the way with all our luggage. The room itself was very nice. The water slide was very fun! The pools are great but it seemed like all but one were designated as 18+. We had breakfast at the Azul Restaurant. The food was good, but the kitchen messed up two of our orders. Lastly, we were driving a Tesla, so I messaged and confirmed they had a charger. When we arrived, there was a car already plugged in that stayed overnight into the next afternoon. I inquired and they said it's first come first serve and they don't control it. Why wouldn't this be part of the valet service?? They said we could go to a nearby mall to charge and they would shuttle us back/and forth, but we were looking forward to swimming and relaxing. Overall, I was expecting a little more from a resort like this. It's very clear that this particular resort caters to groups and we felt a bit overlooked as a family of 3. I hope they can do better in the future.

We stayed in room 249 and 251 but we had a total of 7 rooms reserved for the weekend. In our room #249 the toilet did not flush, the shower had very low pressure with very little hot water, the AC was out of Freon and it smelled so bad like ********* and cigarettes and staff pretty much said there’s nothing they can do because they were sold out and had no other rooms available. I asked for a refund so that we can go somewhere else but they said refunds were not allowed We had to shower and utilized the restroom in room 251. In room 251 the smell of wet dog and dog feces and pee was very disturbing but once again the front desk said there was no other rooms available and could not issue any refunds. We asked for room service the day before for both rooms but they were never cleaned. We asked for towel replacements but they were denied because we did not have the dirty ones on hand, I explained to the lady at the counter that we had placed them outside the room in the hallway for replacement but she still refused to give us new ones. We had to beg the maid for two towels and there was four of us. This has been by far the Worse experience we had ever had in a hotel. Similar stories were exchanged with the rest of the party that stayed in the other rooms. We will definitely not be staying here or recommending this place to any of our friends and family.

Internet was very spotty -best if near the reservation desk ..

We stayed here while getting my daughter ready for U of A. The staff was so friendly and supportive...they really went out of their way to greet us and check on us. Valet was convenient and super fast. We will definitely be back. Jesse at the bar, Tracy with management and Barbara in the lounge went out of there way to introduce themselves and check on us. Katrina, when we checked early got our room ready next and hooked us up with an upgrade. Met other moms in the lounge and they hosted us with a nice bottle of wine.

Usually when I get a room, I ask for the first floor due to some places have stairs. I usually I will see attitude and no thought of how far to carry luggage etc. This time I was asked first if I needed a first floor and she put me closes to the door I could get my luggage in. I was so happy, usually I feel bad, but this lady made me feel welcomed and cared for.

This location is across the street from UofA. It's easy to walk near Greek row and the different sports stadium. Due to COVID-19, they do not come into the room after you check in, which made sense to me. The thing that didn't make sense was going to the front desk to get water. Two bottles a day. It just seems there should be some way to have a touchless hand off. Not sure what that is, but I found that part annoying. The room was clean. It's a decent size. The staff is nice. Masks are required outside your room, and all guests were compliant. Even in the elevators, guests were very careful about getting on and off. There was hand-sanitizer outside the elevator on our floor. It is very chic. Cement floors in the lobby. I'm sure college students love visiting.

I know that this area is challenged, to put it nicely. My previous stay, there the conditions were better, furnishings wise. But the true difference was the friendly staff. This visit the reception was very unwelcoming. In the evening, when we asked about the pool and Jacuzzi, the evening desk clerk was just as unfriendly. (and the Jacuzzi was not working). In the room, the lamps all had outlets and USB ports, but two of the three ports were busted. the curtains stained, the flooring and carpet were so dirty that my short walk from the shower to the desk chair to put on socks left the soles of my feet black like I had been walking barefoot outside. As I mentioned, the furniture was worn and not maintained. The Fridge and Microwave were nice. The door locks were newer and they had converted flooring to half vinyl plank since my last visit. The lingering issues were two-fold. 1) I did not like the additional $8 nightly fee. If Parking and Wifi are free, this fee is for what? I was actually charged $17 for the one night in extra fees. 2) Nearly immediately after I checked out, my credit card was hit with two fraudulent charges totaling nearly $300. I cannot say that these were the act of someone at Red Roof Inn, but I only presented this particular card at the hotel and nowhere else in a 48 hour period. All in all, I had hoped this property would provide a similar experience as before, but it is simply not the same caliber of an operation.
