Positive things: - The communication with Stefano was excellent. He is a nice and reliable person, who helps you immediately, if you have a question or need help. - Our room (with two separated beds) was nice and cozy. - The breakfast was sweet and you could make your tea and drink coffee (it was not the typical stronger Italian coffee, but it's okay to start the day with:-). - The cleaning team came every 3rd day and they changed the towels, took out the garbage, cleaned the bathroom and made your bed. The only thing they always forgot is to clean the floor (it is parquet), and after a few days it was not sooo coool walking barefoot in the room... My subjective opinion: This B&B is on the first floor in a house, which reminds me of the Eastern-European dirty, not renovated houses after the war (like in Hungary or in other East-Block countries)..., so don't be scared, just take the steps. It's advantage is: nobody's gonna break in to this place, because from the outside it's just a little bit fu...d-up...:-) The central station is really a 5-minutes-walk, which is awesome, but it also means, that you are close to a very busy street and the house is old, so your room will be very noisy. The best thing: - The center is just a 10-minute walk. - If you go left, and take the bus nr.6 or the nr.36, it will take you right to Miramare castle (which is the end-station) or you can just get off at the promenade and have a swim in the sea. - Beach-tip: if you'd like to have a sunbed and a clean toilet and a restaurant, where you can spend the whole day: BAGNO STICCO is your place! Take the bus nr.6 or nr.36 and get off two stations before the end-station (before Miramare castle), and there you go. The entrance (with sunbed) costs 12 EUR.

The hotel is very well located in the center of Trieste. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Comfortable bed. The room looks more institutional than charming, but they are very well cared for. Breakfast is fine, though for the pandemic, is not a buffet. Bear in mind that the hotel does not have a parking of their own, if you have a car, you must find a place in the street, which was easy in my case. Ok view to the ocean in the 4th floor. Below such level, I'm not sure you will have a view. Staff did their job properly, but there were not particularly helpful when a traveler arrives with lot of luggage.

We just stayed one night in Palazzo Talenti 1907 apartments but we loved the experience. The apartment is excellent in terms of space and furniture, having all we usually need in vacations. The apartments have been renovated recently, being modern and comfortable. The location is excellent, with possibility to park the car near the apartment (in the street is free during the night). There are supermarkets in the opposite of the apartments. Our apartment had balcony over the avenue with great view. The process to take the key and leave the key is easy and agile. There is coffee in the apartment, but there is a machine in the ground floor with many stuffs, like coffee, expresso, cappuccino, tea, juices, and cold water, as well as chocolates and so on, a very affordable prices (expresso = 0.50€, cappuccino=0.50€, and so on). I strongly recommend this apartment.

I was very happy to have a friendly and friendly stay at the hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The reception works have treated me very well. I could communicate in English with all, they have taken care of me when I needed it, they are very professional. When I asked for food to carry it, they told me and offered me to leave a tenor. It was a grateful surprise that in my room (Double room with partial views of the sea), the 111, I had two beds of 90 cm width together. The "amenities" were very good, I was given 32 cl boats of gel, shampoo and body cream, there was a hand soap dispenser in the washroom, shower cap, Baskets, nails lime and cotton, coating kit, intimate hygiene soap, disposable glasses and a boligrapher. Heating was a little noise, I advise you to ask the workers if you don't know how the temperature controller and the different boots there are. The gardens did not leave the room in complete darkness, so if you are Spanish used to the Persians and are sensitive to light, you could bring an anti-faz. The only negative point is that when I check out I told you a reusable silicone bag had disappeared, he was limited to educately excuse****, instead of offering me a compensation for throwing my property into waste.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. We received a warm, friendly greeting with advice about places to visit. Our room was quiet, modern and stylish, the bathroom a good size and spotlessly clean. It's located about two or three minutes walk from the main piazza in Trieste, so you can walk everywhere. The staff were all welcoming and polite. I would recommend it to anyone. In fact, it's almost worth going to Trieste just to stay here!

For the 2022 Easter break, the family spent 3 nights in this wonderful Trieste Doubletree. Without hesitation, we will return to enjoy this beautifully architected hotel and town. Positives/Highlights 1. Check-in - when we arrived, the cozy check-in area was a bit hectic. But to no worry - a reception team member came around the desk, shared a welcome, and had us headed to our room within minutes. Friendly, efficient, effective. 2. The architecture of this building is fabulous. Due yourself a favor and look around some. We really enjoyed the small library area as the entry to the restaurant. The front desk/entry area is wonderful and nice to come “home to”. 3. Room - we stayed in a king suite that had a unique ceiling, as it was a rooftop skylight! What an unique room and enjoyable. A welcome note from the GM, nice space for all 3 of us, amenity-filled bath - what you’d expect from a Hilton brand, with a bit more sophisticated feel than many Hilton properties. And never did we hear any noise, therefore having a restful night and morning. 4. Breakfast - a fully-stocked breakfast with availability to order something you want special. Nice Italian cheese, cereals, sweets, eggs, etc. You won’t walk away hungry. And the staff kept the area clean and helped us with some drinks and extra silverware. And thanks to Giuseppe for the warm welcome, nice conversation, and insights. 5. Cleanliness - hand sanitizers, masks, etc. were available to all guests. A nice touch. 6. Style - goes along with the architecture, but this hotel has great style from top to bottom. 7. Doubletree team - very helpful from the front desk to breakfast staff to valet. Much appreciated. 8. Location - in the heart of the city. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Negatives I’m fortunate to travel often, and have stayed in many hotels - some reviewed here on TA. The Doubletree Hilton Trieste will be remembered by me for that long list above. Just a nice stay for us. We look forward to returning. Thank you Doubletree Trieste! Hope to see you again soon.
