|1.29km from city centerIt was my 4th time in Baguio City and I was with my partner for an advanced holiday leisure trip. We stayed at A Hotel Baguio City and I can say that their best asset is their employees. Red, the Front Desk officer when we arrived, warmly assisted us to all our needs during our check-in. She well represented the hotel’s hospitality service and she’s very helpful. The hotel is strategically located at the commercial district of Baguio were most of the tourist attraction are few walks away from the hotel. However, it could’ve been a nicer place to stay if rooms are a bit sound proof. It was annoying when sounds of the jeepney machines and the busy street of Shuntug bothers us duri ng rush hours. The room we stayed is quite dull and nothing amazed us in the hotel. The hotel rate, for me, does not reflects in the hotel rooms. There is no Safety vault, no flat iron (available upon request with fee), internet service is unstable, the room is just raw; bed, tv and tables only. No place for your luggage. But overall, this place is really nice if you want an accommodation in Baguio City. Good job to the staff of this hotel!

|0.99km from city centerContrary to what others say about this hotel, Lafaayette Luxury Suites is just superb & perfect! We had an amazing & the most comfortable 5 days stay in this luxury hotel in Baguio City. The check-in & check-out was swift & smooth. We were granted a late check-out at 1:00 PM. Allow me to share it’s pros: Location- very close to everything, just a short walk to SM City Baguio, cafés & restaurants, bus terminal, laundry shop, popular attractions in Baguio, etc. Room- so posh, extremely spacious & clean! It has a working space/ desk & everything we need. Make up room/ room cleaning is available daily & upon request, just let the Front Desk know should you want your room to be cleaned. If you opt not to, they can just replenish all your room amenities & toiletries! Although all rooms are non air-conditioned, air coolers are available. In our case, the air cooler was enough to cool the room since we stayed in Mid-November. We have been allocated a room on the roadside, it is true that you can hear all the sound & noise of vehicles passing-by, but we figured out to close the top windows & we can peacefully enjoy our night! Wi-Fi- very fast & reliable. Staff & Service- they have been welcoming, accommodating & ready to assist! Prior to our arrival, i messaged the hotel’s page on Facebook for some infos & requests. I requested a room on the higher floor & the possibility of having a room on the opposite side of the road (due to the negative reviews i’ve read online). We were given a room on the higher floor, initially on the 10th floor, but since it wasn’t ready yet at the time of our check-in, they asked us if we were okay to stay on the 8th floor which we agreed. L’ Epicure Restaurant- where we enjoy our daily complimentary breakfast buffet included in our room accommodation. It offers a good & quality selection of foods. Special shout-out to the ff. staff who stood out during our stay: Jumart & Nathaniel from the Front Desk, Kenette of L’Epicure, the bell men & security guards & lastly our room attendant (whom i didn’t get the chance to get his/her name) who kept our room immaculately cleaned & amenities replenished. Thank you for your great hospitality! We truly had an amazing baby moon & first wedding anniversary celebration/staycation! Well done team for your great customer service! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value for their money!

|2.31km from city centerEverything is to our liking , a great stay experience as always. And the staff are extremely nice and accommodating in keeping with their , I say 5-star category. Staying in Manor has a feel of luxury, while enjoying nature, and the magnificent views, gives you momentary respite from life’s daily grind and the hustle and bustle of the city. The suite is very spacious, furniture are comfy, good kitchen space. And the three balconies are spacious. Love love the comp refreshments and wine (cab Sauvignon no less) with my name customized in the welcome note. They make you feel important , comfy, and taken care of. And you don’t want to ever leave the hotel as they also offer great delectable foods. And for the price, it’s sooo worth it!! Enjoy the lounge live music while you’re at it.

|1km from city centerI’ll start off with saying that my wife and I stayed here in 2019 and had an excellent stay. The hotel was fairly new at the time and everything functioned. Well things have certainly changed over the past couple of years. The only reason I am not giving a one star is because the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming upon checkin and the location is great. To the many things wrong with this hotel and why you should definitely find somewhere else to stay when you’re in Baguio… The first problem we encountered was the room having a strong chemical/fragrant smell with a sticky residue on all of the surfaces, I’m not sure if they had sprayed some sort of air freshener or something before we arrived but it was quite strong and bad. Secondly the general cleanliness of the room is off putting. There was a thick coating of dust around the tv and on the table next to the bed, gross. The door had hand prints and smudges from the top to bottom as well. The worst of all these issues is the bathroom. Don’t expect to get too clean here because our shower was a trickle of water and not much beyond that, don’t forget to pack your tabo. The staff offered no resolution for a room swap or anything for any of these issues. To finalize, this hotel has lots of cheerful reviews, maybe it was just our specific room in disrepair. However it is advertised as a nice hotel you’d expect some amenities at. There was not even a washcloth or hairdryer in the bathroom. I do regret my stay here this time and would caution if you plan on staying here.

|3.12km from city centerWe love the antique vibes of this place. It has a nice breakfast views. We just called their number for reservarion. Their customer service is good. Our family room is huge. We slept well. It was peaceful place. Their rate is reasonable. Food is okay. My only problem was the mosquito in the lobby at night, it is just in the lobby. Our rooms don't have it.

|2.02km from city centerI understand why this place had equal good and not-so-good reviews. If you plan to book a room, choose the ones with windows. The rooms are quite small to begin with and it would be worse if you take those locked-in inner rooms, which feel claustrophobic. We were quite unlucky to stay during bad weather, forcing us to stay indoors and there was basically nothing to do. You can't even while away the time with sightseeing. It is also important to have your own car if you book at this place. I think the jeepney routes don't pass the area and taxis are also few. Since it's quite far from the tourist spots with narrow, descending roads, don't expect a leisurely walk. There's not much to expect of the free breakfast, with limited choices of rice with either daing, corned beef or longanisa, served plated and in very small portions. Old Orange wood looks cozy and homey, if indeed it's your regular home, but not as a rented transient place, which I can imagine would be too cramped on a brisk booking day. Overall, don't expect too much.

|0.93km from city centerQuite disorganized. Triage slip - this is an important piece of paper that a traveller should always bring especially when going to Camp John Hay area. I was asked by the receptionist to hand her the triage slip when we were checking in. I thought it must be submitted to them that’s why it wasn’t returned to me. When we travelled to John Hay, we were blocked at the gate because we didn’t have it. We went back to the hotel and asked about it. The receptionist struggled to find it but eventually found it. Hotel luggage cart - we were about to go to our room and asked for assistance since we have a lot of bags/luggages with us. We waited for so long because they seemed struggling to find the cart, so we decided to go without it. Housekeeping request - on our third day, we called at the lobby to schedule cleaning and replacing everything that needs to be replaced. We were out the entire day and hoping the room is clean when we return, but to our surprise, nothing happened. A staff forcibly opening the door - early in the morning when we were still sleeping (and haven’t had enough sleep), someone was trying to open the door, and since it’s taking a while, I decided to rise up, went to the door and opened it. The staff apologized and said it was a mistake. I never got back to sleep and was not feeling well the entire day. Breakfast - I don’t know if it’s normal but I find it such a hassle to always get a coupon from the lobby daily, and present it to the cafe every morning. The time we plan to take breakfast everyday is also being asked. I know this is to manage/forecast the flow of requests, but one day when we weren’t able to show up on time, someone from the cafe called us to know what time we will eat. I appreciate the concern, but it was just about 8:30am, and what if we were still sleeping? We felt pressured to go down and eat, and that’s what we did. Friendliness - not all, but most of the staff are not used to greeting people. Other than these, there are still good things about this place, such as the location. It’s within the city center, so it’s easy to go around. The area feels safe as well.

|0.48km from city centerThis is a budget hotel and is rated as such. Its a bit of an odd hotel as it tries to be something else. Location is easy to find and is about 20 min walk to Burnham park and the centre. Its easily seen in the city if you get lost as there is a large 456 sign lit in red to guide you home. Plenty of parking on various levels. Room was quite basic despite being sold as deluxe. Bed was very hard with only 2 pillows. Large bathroom and shower with plenty hot water. Basic condiments supplied with 2 towels.AC was fitted but not used as i think u hire the control from reception to use it. Lots of useless cupboards and a safe at the bottom of a cupboard on the floor which was odd. TV was ok with lots channels including cable. Kettle was supplied and mugs. Oddly enough no small fridge which i kind of wanted. A large bay window with great city view but no chair or table to make use of it and a total waste of space as such. The room was clean and well serviced bit tired. We had the 100 php breakfast which is ordered in a strange way but it was tasty and arrived on time. Staff are pleasant and helpful. You pay for what you get with no good or bad surprises. Would i use it again, well yes why not at that price its a bed. Make the most of what you have and you can't go wrong. Plenty taxi pass by its on one of the major city routes in.

|1.74km from city centerThis hotel went over and beyond my expectations. The facade is very elegant, furnitures at the lobby give you a classic Filipino feel, the restaurant gives you a spectacular view and the computer room is readily available should you need to use one. The hotel gives off a cozy feeling--a home away from home. It made me feel that I'm living in a huge house so it's just about right to say that it's like a dream come true. Room - We were privileged to have stayed in the Penthouse. It is so spacious, beautiful and clean. It has all the essentials you will need either for short or long-stay. It also gives you a spectacular view of the city. It has floor-to-ceiling glass windows that allow sunlight to come in. But these are also equipped with blinds should you prefer a private setup. Food - They offer quite a wide variety of menu for breakfast. Every item is a good choice. One of the owner's suggestion was the Vigan longganisa. I didn't regret following it! He also suggested that we try their sisig which is what we ordered for dinner through Room Service. And it, by far, is the best sisig that I have tasted. My mom, who is a health-buff and not a fan of pork, indulged and set aside her diet after tasting it! Service - IMPECCABLE! This is the first and only hotel where I witnessed the owner himself serve the guests--gets their orders, serves their food & drinks and then really get to know each of them. I was surprised that when we were about to go out, the Front Desk staff handed us a list of places and restaurants that we could visit which was personally handwritten by the owner. He also was too kind to give us a tour on our second and third days. Being a hotelier for 7 years, i have learned a lot from Mr. FD. I will definitely choose to stay in this hotel every time I will visit Baguio. You will never go wrong with, NYC Manhattan Suites. Service -

But everything is good, the buffet breakfast is delicious, staffs were very kind, the interior of the Hotel Lobby is extravagant.

|1.18km from city centerWe stayed at room 511. We requested for slippers and it was immediately given. Pillows have some hairs as if it's not changed. We had hard time turning on the tv. We need to very long press the on/off button in order to function, sometimes it won't function at all. Place is pretty decent. We rented the room for 12 days but we stayed for 8 days bec. we need to go to our province as unplanned. Two plastic bottles of water, 1 sachet of shampoo and 1 small bathsoap and 1 tissue was given. I requested for another 2 plastic bottles of water and tissue the other day and they gave it. If I will not request they will not issue anything, which means for the duration of 12 days, only the above mentioned will be given only once. No electric kettle but they have water dispenser on the 3rd floor hotel reception. Location is good bec. it's in the baguio central district.

|2.46km from city centerQuite fair for 1700+ per night. We got shared bathroom with other tenants, though the case, it was clean and has hot water system. We got King size bed (?), 1 TV, 1 electric fan, fridge and a small terrace with table and 2 chairs. No AC but no need since Baguio has its natural cooling system.
Only 1 bath towel and 1 blanket provided, we failed to asked for additional 😅. The gate closes by 10PM and during our last night, it was locked by 9PM. You may request for key if you'd come back late. Location wise, 8-9 minutes drive (taxi) from the center like SM, bus terminal etc.

|2.96km from city centerIf you're after the basic amenities for lodging and accommodations, this facility is perfect especially for family trips where the budget is quite limited. It's already value for money given the cost and the space the rooms provide. The food is not so bad either and is far better than other newer, fancier hotels in Baguio. It is also ideal for quick business trips or office seminars/conferences since it is far from the center of distractions, traffic and hustle and bustle of the city.

Our QR codes were released immediately after submitting all requirements to Baguio Visita, very responsive. They follow health & safety protocols upon check-in and have a parking space for guests. The room was clean and same as advertised, it was surprisingly big for the 4 of us. Everything was provided. The room has a kitchenette with common utensils, electric kettle, refrigerator, dining table, TV, and a balcony. Walking distance to Burnham Park and many restaurants like Good Taste, Cafe by the Ruins, etc. Very accommodating and rates are affordable.

We stayed in the Jr. Suite that firs 5 but we were only 4. There were 2 full size beds and 1 single bed. If you are a couple on the heavier side the bed will not be as comfortable. Amenities were complete: Toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton pads, q-tip, soap, shampoo, body washa nd lotion. They also provide pwdered coffee and water daily. Breakfast is included and it was quite good. We liked the garlic longanisa and bangus. They also gave us complimentary pet shampoo and coffee mug. Their Italian resto makes excellent pizza and has a great wine selection. We will be back here most definitely ❤️

|0.61km from city centerThe hotel is a boutique hotel and the theme/concept is good and has its appeal. We arrive after lunch and was told to wait for available rooms. No exact time was given but the girl at the reception was guessing around 3 which is beyond the standard 2 pm check in time.We waited by the reception area. After an hour I notice a newcomer who was able to check in so I went to the front desk about our room. The girl at the reception looked at me bewildered and ask me my name and seems at a lost. Another girl took over and after going through some papers, told us that we had a room. I wondered what would have happened if I didnt ask about it and just waited for them to approach us.
The room is ample sized with an overhead fan which was working well. The beds are comfortable. There was only 1 pillow though which was small. I immediatedly called the reception for additional pillow explaining that I had a medical condition that needed me to be elevated while sleeping. The receptionist says that she will get back to me but doubted there was anything available since they had full occupancy. The girl never got back to me. There was a study table at the corner of the room with access to power supply. There was no AC but this is Baguio so it doesnt matter. THere was no ref. THere was a water boiler but no coffee or tea packs which is chargeable. The bathroom is ample and functions well. Water pressure is strong. There was a pad and a pencil at the side table but the pencil is all worn out. (not sharpened)
Breakfast was at the 6th floor of the hotel. It was light and airy with a good view of the city. Choices were not much but food was good with an egg station, a salad bar and bread area. It was serviced buffet. Coffee was self serve and located in a corner of the room. One negative note here is that the sugar and creamer were served in bowls with teaspoons for customer to use. It would been more hygienic if they were in packets. Isnt there a covid protocol regarding this?
The physical structure (rooms. function rooms. coffee shop) were quite good and as mentioned appealing. However, service is really poor. From the check in part of our stay, to not getting back to me on my request, to breakfast service where the clean ups were done sloppily, much can be improved on. Our hotels have always been distinguished by good service and hospitality and sadly Orchard is pretty off the chart.

|1.79km from city centerWe stayed for a week (7d 6n) It was a charming hotel that overlooks the mountainous Baguio City. Staff were accommodating, professional and friendly. My only downside is that there’s no shuttle to pick us up or drop us off to our preferred destination especially one night that we finished shopping at SM Baguio not so late at around 8 or 9pm and there were no taxicabs around. We were neglected by the SM’s dispatcher so freezing and inconvenient as it is, I called the hotel to pick us up since we were having a hard time booking a grab taxi. It is always drivers are busy all the time. The first lady at front desk wasn’t that helpful. She just gave a “wala na kaming magagawa” answer but the second front desk lady was accommodating and went the extra mile so kudos to her. Shout out to our housekeeper lady Grace who also is friendly and courteous and gave us all the amenities we needed. Replenished our sheets reqularly. Above all it was an above average stay but not as perfect since there were minor areas like, the bathroom sewer stinks, which I think they are aware of, no shuttle, the balcony is fine coz we were at the corner facing both the vines with some noisy construction workers chatting but tolerable and pine trees on your right. You have to lean over to get a good view but be extra careful for you might fall to your death. It was a charming and promising hotel. We might consider to comeback and tell this to friends, relatives and close loved ones.

Our studio unit was clean and tiny but during our stay, unfortunately, there was a brownout due to an electric post that was damaged when a tree fell on it. This resulted to us using the stairs to our 5th floor unit with our luggages sthe elevator was not working and that was not fun at all. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Our room was a corner unit so we had dual balconies and we got good views and fresh air. I will definitely come back here again in thefuture.

I feel like the unit was not maintained well. The floors were not swept good. It was dusty. The bathroom lavatory leaks and the water stays on the corners of the counter. Presence of spider webs out on the terrace and presence of little cockroaches. The front screen door does not close completely.

The rooms are clean, the beds are similar to a standard hotel. I highly recommend getting the Garlic Longganisa for breakfast. It's yummy and includes freshly brewed coffee. The hotel is accessible to two spas (I forgot their names) but I know there was a spa that I had to walk up to a dark alley. Also, there is now a City Ordinance that prohibits Smoking, so to all smoking guests, make sure to start stopping now when you visit Baguio City.
