Stayed only one night here on the second floor (no elevator). Twin bedroom for two. Did not sleep well but that is our fault. Complimentary still water for guests in the room, you can find coffee and tea appliances too ( we didn't use them). It is clean, good aircon. The room's spacious for what normally hotel rooms are in Russia. Hotel location is great as you can walk everywhere from the hotel to the central area, restaurants, market, sightseeing etc. The staff was young and it seems untrained. They spoke little English but did their job efficiently (but you could not ask for extra information etc due to the language barrier). We wanted to book a time for a boat tour and they could not help.

The hotel is in the center of the town - the entrance of the trading corridor, basically the bus is 50 meters away, the bus driver recognizes the hotel, the station will prompt to get off the bus - accommodation conditions are OK, and there is air conditioning, although I I don't know what it is to use air conditioners in such a cool place. The breakfast was very good, and I had watermelon, and the children were very happy. The hotel's own restaurant can also have dinner and lunch, but I don't know why only our family is here to eat. In the big restaurant, we have a table, and the heart is a bit rough, but in fact the meal is delicious, suitable for Chinese stomach. And the price is not expensive, it can be said that it is a very rich meal~ When you go, you don't have to take a taxi to the long-distance station, you can wait for the bus directly at the door, and the bus will take a ride in the town and then drive back long distance. Station 哒~The scenery here is beautiful, the weather is cool, regret only arranged for one day, staying for a few more days~

Breakfast is OK, staying for two days is not the same, can not add a bed, suitable for children, but the town should be no children like to play, there is a parking lot, the entire town center is not big, so the location is not too much Many

This is a charming, extremely friendly and comfortable hotel perfectly located a short distance from the historic centre of Suzdal. We had 2 very pleasant days there. The building is traditionally constructed and combines comfort with charm. The staff could not have been more helpful. A first class experience.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to the attractions, there is a living supermarket nearby, the hotel has a swimming pool, parking lot, and breakfast. The only strange thing is that my friend and I only have electricity in the bathroom, and all sockets in the room are powered off except for the lighting!

We stayed one night in this family run hotel during our visit to Suzdal. It is a bit far from the sights of the town, but we didn't mind, as the neighbourhood it was in was incredibly charming. We kept stopping on the street and taking pictures of the beautiful wooden houses everywhere. The staff speaks broken English but are lovely, friendly people and really make their best to help you. Our room (number 5 I think) had plenty of space, a comfortable bed with a firm mattress, a good bathroom, mosquito net on the window. The hotel has bicycles for rent and we used them for a late afternoon ride. They are really the ideal mean of transport in Suzdal, you get to the center very quickly and feel like a local. This bike-ride in the sunset was one of the highlights of our visit! I especially recommend going to the viewpoint over the river next to The Saviour Monastery of St. Euthymius around sunset, the light is beautiful and the scenery is BREATHTAKING! The breakfast wasn't super exciting or original, so I'd probably take that elsewhere next time, but it was OK.

1. As some people have commented before, this store is really far away! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Suzdal has two “doors” (in fact, two stone pillars) in the north and south as the border of the town. The store is less than 200 meters away from the border. 2. The environment is good, there is a separate yard, there are beautiful lawn children's entertainment facilities, and the surrounding is particularly quiet. The problem is, if you are dragging your big baggage, don't really choose this one. When I went there, I didn’t contact the taxi. I got off the bus stop at the trade corridor and dragged two people, one big and one small, and it really went to collapse. So when you left, ask the store to contact the taxi and send 1,500 rubles to Vladimir Train Station. 3. In addition, let's talk about it, although hanging stars, but don't expect the front desk to help you with too much help. We want the front desk to help check the train time in advance. The front desk said that we can only help see Vladimir to Moscow. Don't care about them, let us go to the station to ask. (Of course, it may be that we are already at 10 o'clock in the evening, not a few beautiful women we saw, their English is much better) 4. If you have breakfast, make an appointment in advance. But we watched the weather very well the next day, we did not eat in the store, strolled to the town center. It’s OK to leave without luggage for more than 20 minutes. The scenery is really beautiful all the way. In short, the store itself is all very good, the space is very large, and the hygiene is very good according to this price and rating. It is far away and the front desk has limited ability. If you have a free friend and have no luggage or don’t want to leave, forget it.

We travelled wintertime in a big group and were not so picky, this complex buit in 1972 is still fully-functional, with well-heated rooms and cosy enough family "cottages" each of those has a garage and two bedrooms on top, enough for 3-4 pax budget travellers, the location is great and you may well admire the Kamenka river and the rest of Souzdal`s olden heart from the river bank, the place has a 24hrs bar and a big restaurant with a buffet breakfast, they serve lunch and dinner for big groups and have a lot of parking space, on the downside was their not so polite staff and not so great coffee that one can face practically any place in Russia

Suzdal Station has a lot of downs and is a bit of a place in the town, but the experience is very good, the resort environment is very good, the front desk will speak English, and also help to call the taxi in the district Suzdal Railway Station. However, it is still recommended to be at the entrance to the town so that you don't have to carry your luggage for a long time.

The breakfast is still decent, it is Russian, and it is no match for the hotel in Moscow. It is quite good in Nizhny Novgorod. The room is a suite and there are two small balconies. Downstairs is Lenin Square, next to it. The Volga River, the scenery is very beautiful, the hotel health is clean, but also praise, especially to praise Ctrip, booking reliable.

Although the hotel is in the city center, the location is not very good. You have to take a taxi or drive by yourself. The hotel facilities are good and comply with the standard of a 5-star hotel. In addition, we went there on non-match days of the World Cup, and the price was worth the value.

I can highly recommend this hotel. It would suit old young, families, business people. Modern ,airy, well run hotel in the historic heart of old Nizhny. I was very impressed by the reception and bar staff who were very welcoming ,professional, helpful, and enthusiastic English spoken Rooms were bright modern a good size and spotless Very good WIFI and TV Very Good Breakfasts and Food. Great Location round the corner from shopping and entertainment street, Historic buildings, Shops, Cafes, Theatres, Supermarket. Bus and trolley stops are close by Just a short 10 minute walk to Kremlin main gate with fortress and fabulous views overlooking the Volga (At the Kremlin, please note if, like me, you have a mobility problem (I'm 64 and wear a leg brace) don't be tempted to use the paths down towards the river they are deceptively steep and there are no handrails ,as I found out to my cost) - Cable car across Volga is in suburbs 2Km away =taxi = 200R one way Cable one way = 100 roubles (please note the cable closes for a "technical break" 10.45 to 1pm so don't get stuck on the other side of Volga like I did!) The Kremlin has better views of the Volga. -Taxi costs are cheap 100 Roubles from hotel to Train station (15 minutes), Airport = 900 Roubles. one way.

So first time when i came to visit my friend in Nizhny Novgorod, I decided to stay closer to her house. The hotel overall is pretty nice especially if you are lucky enough to get a room with the church view. The service is good and well organized. The downside is that it is pretty far away from the city centre and all the cultural stuff. However in exchange it is close to beautiful and peaceful sormovo lakes.

We stayed here during the World Cup so unsurprisingly the rooms were much more expensive than other times, but it saying outside of the time of the football, I have no doubt it would offer great value, the rooms are fairly sized and the location is great near enough to the old town and Kremlin if you wish to explore but also with plenty of bars and restaurants close by if you are looking for a nice meal and a place of rest. The service and security was excellent although no safe in the room. I would also say we were on the third floor and there is no lifts so if mobility is a challenge for you then you are limited by the room numbers available to you.

We stayed at Hotel Joy for 2 nights during the World Cup in June 2018, and were very impressed by this small hotel. This was probably the busiest and most stressful period that the city has seen, and yet the hotel staff were very welcoming and kind to all of their guests. We arrived very early in the morning and despite being at full capacity the night before, the hotel staff very quickly turned over a room for us as soon as one was free so that we were able to check in early - much appreciated after our overnight train to Nizhny. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and ours had a kettle, microwave and fridge. We slept very well - comfy beds, very little street noise and an excellent air conditioning unit. Breakfast, served in our room and pre-ordered the night before, was delicious with plenty of options for every preference. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the location was absolutely perfect - I don't think we could have found a better location in the Old Town! Only slight drawback was a complicated wifi system that isn't very friendly for foreigners (you need to receive a code by text to enable the hotel's wifi and the code never arrived to our non-Russian mobile phones), but the hotel staff helped us to work this out. We would be very happy to stay here again.

My family stayed at the Nikitin hotel 2ith August 2020. Our room was 103 with a nice view of the Church. Everything you would want is in the room. All the hotel staff had smily faces and were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely and enough food to last you the day. The lady owner was very nice and attentive and even gave us all cake and bottled water for our long journey home. We will be returning very soon. A gem of a hotel.
