3.98km from Bamboo PastelariaThe hotel is new, very clean (bathroom spotless but small, no bath tub). There were lots of electric outlets in the room. The 12 noon check-out time is great. The internet was strong when it worked, but there were periods of hours when it was down and my laptop in particular had a lot of problems some of which were aided by a friendly technician with whom I spent an hour on the phone at the front desk one afternoon. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. A typical Brazilian breakfast (cost included with my room, otherwise R$27) was excellent, including the coffee. My room was very small. There was a short rod, maybe two feet long, with six hangers and a shelf, but no other place to put clothes. There was no place to put my suitcase except the floor and when I did that, I had essentially blocked the bathroom door. There's a small fridge, but it was empty. There was not a single bottle of water nor a glass or cup of any kind in the room, let alone a coffee machine or kettle. The lobby area is rather eclectic and inviting with a bit of a beach theme, canvas chairs and hammocks and colourful rocking chairs but it was hard to find a comfortable place to sit just for a drink. Most chairs were at tables set up with knives and forks as if you were expected to eat. There was no pool or fitness area. There is a large shopping mall in the Tatuape transit station with lots of stores. I noticed even a bus to the airport. There's a long street called Tuiluti maybe 10 minutes walk away where one gets the real feel of Sao Paulo. For a night or two, this hotel is OK, but not for a longer stay.
