The location is too convenient, convenient for travel, viewing, and more than 10 minutes walk to important attractions such as the Capitol. The city of Ottawa is small and there are not many tourist attractions. We stayed at noon and played all the sights in the afternoon. The hotel is in the city center, but it is difficult to eat Chinese food. It takes about 70 yuan to get a Chinese hot pot. It is a resilience---Liu Yishou, the hotel is good, clean and tidy, the service attitude is very good, it is obviously I showed the prepaid order, but the hotel still deducted the entire night's room rate of 3084RMB, saying that it did not receive Ctrip's transfer. It caused me a lot of trouble. I made an international call to and from the airport several times. Ctrip promised to solve the problem before leaving the store. When I finally left the store, I still didn't receive the payment from Ctrip, so I insisted on deducting my money and I was very dissatisfied. The hotel's parking fee is still quite expensive, 28.34 knives, about 150RMB.

The location of the hotel is very good. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Parliament Hill. You can overlook the Ottawa River from the room, which is quiet. Although the hotel breakfast is relatively simple in Western style, some people make mushroom omelets on site. The room with kitchen is relatively large and very clean. The bedding is very comfortable. The underground parking lot is on the side of the hotel entrance. From the elevator, it is the office building next to the hotel. It is very convenient. It is 30 Canadian dollars for 24 hours. The parking time is too short to be cost-effective.

The hotel's facilities are good, the rooms are large, the most important is the location is very good, 10 minutes walk to Capitol Hill, there is an underground car park, 25 Canadian dollars per night, plus a total of 28.5 Canadian dollars. Breakfast is not included, but you can order food on the first floor and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. The noise of the air conditioner in the room is a bit big, it is off when sleeping, and the others are very good! The front desk reception was very warm and the service was active.

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the city center, there are many places to eat around, but unfortunately catch up with Sunday, most of the surrounding restaurants are closed, the hotel is very quiet. Finally, I chose the dinner at the hotel. The waiter was very good. The steak on the steak was too hot. After saying the situation, I gave it back ten minutes later and I was very satisfied. The bed in the room is very comfortable and there is an underground car park, which is subject to payment.

I ordered the most common kind of house at the time. The hotel is located in downtown, which is super convenient! You can punch in some downtown delicacies on foot. The little sisters and brothers at the front desk are very good, and the key point is that I did not have this credit card at the time, and this shop does not need to provide it! The size of the room is smaller than that I have lived in before, but it's enough! Clean, tidy and warm.

This unexpected service is good! A few people met at the front desk were very casual and enthusiastic! I didn't choose a balcony suite when I checked in, but I accidentally found that the balcony door could not be opened for a more expensive upgraded suite. I didn't listen to the front desk to tell me that it was really a surprise to open the door! Although there are sounds of various equipment and machines downstairs at night, the price is high! Not to the point of being intolerable! Although old, but the victory is the high price! Fully functional, staying for a night or two is still very cost-effective! Earlier than many high-speed roadside motels and comfortable hotels! Parking is $ 15 and taxes are over $ 16. It takes 15 or 20 minutes to walk to Guohui Mountain, which is also acceptable.

My fiance and I wanted to visit ottawa and found this place last minute. The location was near a skate rental shop, the canal rideau, the nature museum and near plenty of dining options and bars. The house is a heritage home so it's definitely old, but in an authentic way. The check-in process was very efficient and the host was informative and very nice! (Lindsay was her name) our room was clean. The washrooms are shared but kept VERY tidy. The kitchen downstairs was awesome - stocked with breakfast items, coffee, tea, juice, etc. I think that for the money, this is a good deal. Only thing.... the noise from the creaking wood floors. Bring headphones or earbuds and you will be just fine.

There is a gas stove and several pots in the hotel room, which is very convenient if you want to cook your own food. The rooms are also clean and tidy, with McDonald's and other restaurants nearby. Paid parking is not cheap, with tax of 33.9 Canadian dollars per car per night. It is only one kilometer away from the main attractions such as the National War Memorial, which is very good!

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel

Originally, I stayed at the Four Points Hotel across the river. As a result, Four Points cancelled the order unilaterally. Fortunately, Ctrip quickly helped me confirm this Westin Hotel and also made up the difference. Westin is okay, not far from Capitol Hill, but parking is expensive.

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to an overnight stay in our hometown. Instead of opting for a chain hotel, we decided to try something different. The McGee's Inn came up in our search and we decided to try it. We could not have asked for a better experience. We were greeted promptly on our arrival and setup with our room, the Victorian Suite. On the main floor, coffee, water and cookies are readily available for guest to help themselves too. Our room was spacious and lovely. The room was wonderfully decorated with many Victorian objects. The bathroom was stocked much better than any chain hotel and the soaker tub had a great view of the television. The bed was comfortable and the complementary robes were nice to slide into after a day exploring the city. The next morning, we took breakfast in the parlor and it was made to order. I opted for eggs over easy with sausage and toast while my wife decided on Eggs Benedict. Both dishes were tasty and very filling. We also had a selection of juice and coffee to go with our breakfast. All in all, I highly recommend this place for people looking to stay just off the beaten track and looking for a nice change of pace from the standard chain hotels. My wife and i would love to stay again at this wonderful establishment,

Let me talk about the hotel facilities first! Average, better than domestic hotel chains 7 days, Jinjiang Star! But the location is super good. It is on the same street as Capitol Hill. Walk within 10 minutes! There is a Hong Kong-style Cantonese restaurant diagonally opposite the hotel, which is delicious and cheap! Hotel parking $ 10 plus tax one day! On the second day of our stay, we happened to meet the Canadian Veterans Day "commonly known as Veterans Day". We also watched the ceremony as we went into the country. It was a big surprise. I saw Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau up close. Shake goodbye to the people when I got on the bus and shook hands with me! So amazing! After checking out on the afternoon of the 11th, we continued to travel to Montreal. On the afternoon of the 13th, my son received a message. It turned out that one of us ~ relatives and friends left the Ipad they just bought in the room. We did n’t even notice that we lost something. This service moved us!

The room is nice. It is quite satisfactory in all respects. There is no hot water in the hotel. It is a bit difficult for Chinese people to drink hot water. In addition, there is a big shopping mall opposite the hotel where things are cheap and there are a lot of discounts. You can scan the goods, although the style may not be as desired

This is my second time staying at a Le Germain hotel, but my first time at the Ottawa location. I love the modern feel of the hotel and the rooms. The bed and room furniture are comfortable and the little side table/desk are perfect for takeout meals. (The mini bar fridge works great for leftovers too!) The Nespresso coffee maker in the room is a nice feature, especially on wintery days. One suggestion would be for a boot tray/mat in the room - it's Ottawa in the winter - this would be much better than boots on the tile! The location is very walkable; it's a quick walk to Byward Market and just a little longer to Sparks Street and Parliament. It's very close to the Canal as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's no Valet service right now, but we were able to park in the connected garage for $35 plus tax a day. It's a little pricey if you ask me, but worth it to avoid lugging a suitcase through the snow. They have a text service where you can simply text a request to the hotel staff for any items you need. This was a quick way to get extra Nespresso pods or glassware brought to the room. There were two things that brought this review down. The connector to stream on the TV wasn't functioning properly for us. Considering this might be our cable, we requested another one from the hotel (iPad connector) and there was none available. We tried wireless streaming to the tv and that didn't work well either. We could have asked for someone to come to our room to try and fix it, but that's not a great option during Covid. Normally I wouldn't even care about this, but there are limited entertainment options these days and the ability to connect to the large screen tv matters. My second concern was the noise from large trucks in the morning. We were on the 7th floor and it was loud! No need for a wake up call here. I recommend speaking to the hotel when making a reservation and specifically requesting a quiet room.

Pros: The hotel room is very spacious. The king bed is very comfortable, as are the bedding and pillows. The bathroom is also large and I really liked not having a bathtub. The shower is strong and gives a feeling of massage while bathing. The best thing about this hotel is the location, just 1.8km from the Byward Market and 2.2km from Downtown. Cons: In times of COVID-19, I expected greater care with the cleanliness of the rooms. Upon arriving we came across the dirty TV remote control, with traces of food. On the floor were pieces of chocolate, under the TV cabinet. There was no daily cleaning of the room, nor change of bed linen and towels. Me, my wife and friends feel insecure about these details. Another point to improve is the mandatory use of a mask in common environments and someone to control the flow in the elevators. I saw several people walking without a mask and the elevators were full, the maximum capacity being 2 people or all from the same social group. Another absurd point was the lack of parking spaces. During the time we were there, the parking lot was "sold out" and the alternative was to stop in a parking lot 400m away, uncovered and without any security. In an attempt to use the hotel's parking lot, I nearly ruined my 7-seat SUV. The hotel's parking lot looks like it was made for toy cars, very tight and terrible to maneuver. I understand that we are going through a pandemic, but the way they found adapting breakfast is a joke. A little bag with a bagel, a fruit, a glass of concentrated juice, a mini muffin, a cereal bar and small samples of jelly, peanut butter and cream cheese. For the price you pay it should be better served. One suggestion is to work as a bakery or restaurant, where guests choose from the breakfast menu what they want to consume and can pick it up at the reception.

Breakfast has not eaten, is a small hotel, the location is not bad, very convenient, in the west of the Rideau River, not far from the Capitol Hill, about 5 minutes walk. We drove over and had a parking lot on the ground floor of the hotel, but there are only six or seven locations. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that the price is cheap, about 100 knives, the parking fee is 15 knives, which is a bit expensive.

3rd time at this hotel. Travelled alone. Noticed immediately that Covid protocols were in place. Needed to be buzzed in to initially enter hotel (could use room key once checked in). There was hand sanitizer at front as well as at all elevators. Room key also required in order to operate elevator; greatly appreciated these extra safety precautions. Stayed in a King Suite. Room was very clean and well appointed. It was unusually warm when I travelled (spring like weather in November). Because of this, rooms on the opposite side of the building had become very warm due to direct sun resulting in the boiler needing to be shut off/air conditioner turned on. Arriving after dark and being unaware of this, I attempted to turn the heat on in my room around 9pm. After some time, my room was still quite cool, I called down to front desk. A heater was immediately brought up to me with the offer of more if needed and the promise to have the room looked at the next day. Shortly thereafter the front desk called me to make sure I was okay. They made it perfectly clear that if the room was uncomfortable, they would gladly move me. I was quite taken aback by the kindness and the extra effort to call even though a heater had been brought up. As promised the next day maintenance came up, explained the situation (air con vs. boiler - 2 pipe system) The maintenance also went above and beyond and personally came back to my room an hour later to let me know the issue was resolved. Things happen but it's how they are handled that make all the difference! The breakfast to-go-bag was perfect for me; piece of fruit, bottled water, granola bar and instant oatmeal. Housekeeping is only available upon request due to Covid. I didn't request additional housekeeping as it was just me but I did call down for more coffee etc. and it was brought up to me immediately! Very comfortable stay and I would definitely recommend!

The waiter who checked in at the front desk was very unfamiliar with the business. When I checked in, I could not find our order when I showed him the order and the order number. I kept saying that there was no reservation. I looked at the computer for 15 minutes and said that we had to check in. The next day, I paid the room rate after checkout. I received a short message from Ctrip near noon saying that we did not check in, so we deducted the cost of the prepaid room reservation and fainted. People still call abroad to complain with Ctrip. What Fairmont? Too Low😢

We chose this hotel because of its location and because of our comfort with the various Marriott brands. We were certainly not disappointed by its location, just a minute’s walk from the ByWard Market with its pleasant ambience, shops and restaurants. It would have also been an easy walk to Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal and Ottawa river. We were pleased by the parking options at the hotel that provided a choice of a street level open-air lot and an underground garage with elevator access to the hotel lobby and guest room floors. The one staff person we met was friendly and welcoming. We weren’t surprised by the lack of food service during the pandemic, but at least there was a vending machine option for snacks and plenty of eating options nearby. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but looking a bit dated and devoid of any flair in its style. It was facing inwards, overlooking a rooftop, which was a very dull view. The upside was that it was perfectly quiet, which a street-facing room in this four-storey hotel may not have been. The Courtyard was a safe and predictable choice at a reasonable price for such a well-located hotel.

We needed a home away from home for a few days due to construction at our place. The Homewood Suites came in at a fair price and I knew what to expect from the brand, as a frequent guest at Hilton branded properties Overall, our stay was quite enjoyable and in line with expectations: Nice, larger size room with separate sleep and "play" area, including a full kitchenette with a sufficient supply of plates and cutlery. Two table so enough space for two people to work in the room - with reliable and stable wifi. Adequate temperature control. The breakfast buffet has been replaced by a selection of breakfast bags. Although i would have liked to see more "protein" options (vs starch heavy), it is still a nice touch to offer a suitable breakfast option in this environment. I liked the fact that the gym and pool is available by reservation - and then you have the place to yourself. Totally contactless check-in/check-out of you use Hilton's Digital Key service Foodwise, there are a few takeout area within walking distance of the hotel, and a few more options within a 5 minute drive. Now, why 4 stars rather than 5? A few minor details... Although the place is fairly new... some of the common areas (hallways) feel a little bit dated... could be the chemical smell from the cleaning product or the style of carpeting but for some reason, I have found Homewood properties to not age that well and this one is no different. To be clear -everything is in working order, it's more the style and look of the property Also, I have no doubt that the place was thoroughly disinfected... but this seems to be coming at the expense of dusting. The ceiling fans were very dusty and so where some of the few typical spots where you see dust accumulating in a room. All in, I agree with other reviewers that this is a great place and option within Ottawa, especially at the price it is going for these days. What I have picked up on are fairly minor items in the grand scheme of things
