Pour un Ibis, il se situe dans la bonne moyenne, la chambre à 3 lits est propre, et pas trop minuscule - ce qui n'est pas habituel - dans cette chaine. L'environnement est calme, pas de bruit la nuit, si ce n'est la ventilation très bruyante. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas mal, rien d'extraordinaire mais suffisant, et pour une fois pas trop cher. Un très gros plus, il y a un grand parking souterrain, et qui est gratuit. Rarissime de nos jours et encore plus en Suisse, La seule chose un peu négative est le prix, en semaine il est cher, mais c'est la Suisse et cela dépend des jours. Pour moins cher en France, les Ibis à Thonon les bains, deux fois moins chers mais, il faut prendre le bateau le matin ou contourner le lac.

The back of the hotel is the pedestrian street, starting early every Wednesday morning. There is a market, very lively. There are also supermarkets and many eating restaurants nearby.

There where distinct upsides to this hotel on our stay: 1) The Service Personell where really great, and friendly. 2) The rooms where imaculate 3) We had a evening drink in the pleasant garden and where served quite late. 4) The old part of morges is very near. 5) Ecxellent value for money really. We parked at the public parking over the road, with the voucher from that hotel that was cheap and easy. you have to feed the parking meter during the day, but the charge is still very reasonable compared to other places The Pre Order Form for breakfast was somewhat confusing, but the breakfast was other wise nice. I would drop this if I was managing the place. All in all I can recommend this place warmly for couples and family travellers alike. Thanks to the friendly staff here.

We booked a junior suite with a kitchenette for a week. The hotel is new and very tastefully decorated. It's close to the highway in an industrial zone, but that didn't bother us at all. There are shops nearby (e.g. Lidl 5 minutes walk away) and you can take nice walks to the lake or in the vineyards. The room was clean and the staff was always very friendly. The kitchenette had a microwave, a small refrigerator, a kettle and two hotplates. You have to take the rest (dishes, pots, washing-up liquid, etc.) with you yourself. We didn't think too much about it and just bought a few things. We had a very nice time and will definitely come back!

Morges is a charming little town on the shores of Lac Leman, with a historic high street and castle, and directly connected to Geneva Airport by train. The Hotel de la Nouvelle Couronne is situated in the historic part of town, and has been modernised internally with elevator etc. It is not the most spacious hotel internally and has a rather inelegant reception, but the rooms are well appointed, bathrooms are good, beds extremely comfortable and the whole place is impeccably clean, which makes it very good value (for Switzerland!) compared to other options in the town whcih might offer more amenitites of a better view from the room. A varied and tasty continental breakfast plus hams and cheeses etc. is served in a historic room with a polished wood floor, which adds character. Overall, a really good night's sleep and good value compared to other options, but don't expect to spend much time in the hotel room other than at night. Reception is not open 24/7 (closes for the night), but the hotel administration is extremely attentive to customer needs and they have a 24 hour phone line in an emergency.

Most (too) packaging dishes without particular touch of originality or creative flames. We are in a typical Italian restaurant (in the specific case, especially Napoletano) abroad. Good choice of wines, also Italians, quick and courteous service, vintage atmosphere and, very appreciable in the beautiful season, the terrace and garden, despite the noise of the surrounding traffic. Location of this hotel just by the small and usually quiet coastal road is ideal and there are great views across the lake with the chance - depending on the weather - to see Mont Blanc, Europe's highest mountain. The building itself goes back to the mid-19th century and although updated to modern standards, there is still some nostalgic touch. Check-in was easy and friendly and the superior room, which we had booked, was on the top, the 5th floor with the elevator only going up to the 4th floor, so we had to walk up on a staircase for the last stretch. There are only 4 rooms on that floor. Our room was cosy, not too big, and with windows on two sides, one offering great views towards the lake. A bit odd were the colours in the room: flowery window curtains and pillows, but armchairs in an aggressive blue, which did not match. There was wall to wall carpenting, but due to the slanted walls no pictures could be hung up. In the room was a mini-bar, but no tea or coffee making facilities. It had a small writing desk, but in general not enough plugs. The double bed was good and it was very quiet at night. The bathroom was fine. Breakfast was in the restaurant 'Le Pavois' on the ground floor. They also have a more elegant restaurant on the first floor, which was closed during our stay, and opposite the hotel entrance is the restaurant 'Le Jardin' on a covered terrace, mainly meant for lunch. Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice of items. Morges itself is a pleasant and attractive little town, with the center being very close from the hotel, also interesting excursions can be done from here, either in the direction of Lausanne or towards the wine-growing area of La Côte.

Wir waren im der Suite Brel, welche viel Platz und eine stilvolle Einrichtung bietet. Insbesondere das ausgesprochen bequeme 2.10m Bett ist aussergewöhnlich und bietet viel Wohlgefühl. Das Zimmer hat eine praktische Kochnische und das reichhaltige Frühstück in guter Qualität unter anderem mit hausgemachter Konfitüren und feinem Fruchtsaft wird auf Wunsch ins Zimmer geliefert. Auch Rührei ist auf Bestellung gabei Der Garten ist lieblich, gepflegt und zusammen mit dem Brunnen wahrlich eine Wohlfühloase. Der Ort ist ruhig und in ein paar Minuten ist man in den Weinbergen oder mit dem Auto im malerischen Städtchen Aubonne. Bei Ankunft nimmt man sich Zeit für die Gäste und es wird auf Ausflugsmöglichkeiten hingewiesen. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, erholsam und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut und grundsätzlich angemessen. Optimierungspotential liegt im Empfang. Check-In ist mit 17-19 Uhr angegeben und man wird zusätzlich noch per Mail aufgefordert die Ankunftszeit anzugeben. Als regelmässiger Reisender ist mir so ein spätes Check-in noch nie begegnet, so dass der Zimmerpreis relativ gesehen verteuert wird ( man kann das Zimmer es erst zwei Stunden später als üblich nutzen). Der Empfang selbst wirkte eher kühl und man wird sofort aufgefordert ein Formular auszufüllen und den detaillierten Frühstücksbedarf anzugeben. Angenehmer wäre es wenn man dies in Ruhe zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt im Zimmer ausfüllen könnte. Frühstück gab es trotz Wochenende nur bis 09:30, d.h. nicht ideal zum ausschlafen. Es gibt keine separate Dusche, dafür ein Bad, auch kann der Lavabo-Wasserhahn nur schwierig reguliert werden ohne dass es spritzt und die Wand nass wird. Ingesamt 4-4.5 Punkte. Meines Erachtens werden erholungsliebende Personen diese Unterkunft sehr schätzen. Sie ist sauber, gepflegt, schön eingerichtet, geräumig und das Bett ist herrlich.
